Season Seven of the Real Housewives of New York was a breakout season for the franchise and with the return of Bethenny Frankel the franchise was revived and brought back to life. Despite the success of season seven of RHONY, Bravo producers are still looking to make casting changes for season eight.
The New York Daily News is reporting that Bravo is boldly pursuing socialite Lorna Drasner for season eight.“She’s been offered a slot multiple times and is speaking with producers, but she is doing her due diligence. She is asking a million questions and asking current cast members out to lunch and shopping trips to try to feel them out,”
“She’s interested (in “Real Housewives”), but she’s not sure what it entails,” adds the Real Housewife insider. “Bravo really really wants her.”
With Lorna possibly joining the RHONY season eight cast it means certain current NY Housewives will be kicked to the curb.
According to sources, Heather Thomson and Bravo have mutually agreed that she would quit RHONY and not come back for season eight.“She’s boring — not in real life, but on the show,” claims the source.
It seems that Kristen Taekman will also be let go from the franchise. On the other hand, Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and Carole Radziwill all hope to return for season eight.
