Last night, Meghan King Edmonds made her debut on the season ten premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Meghan has already done a few other interviews discussing how she feels about the other Housewives, and she clearly is not afraid to speak her mind since she has done another!
OK! Magazine interviewed Meghan about her joining RHOC. As she stated in her previous interviews, Meghan is the closest to Heather Dubrow and Tamra Judge, but the latter was surprising to her.
“I did not know anything other than what I saw on TV,” Meghan said. “Tamra is really different than what I expected. I was expecting her to not be nice to me and just be snarky and it was total opposite, we hit it off right away.”
Even though she was wrong about Tamra, Meghan was right about how her relationships would be with Shannon Beador and Lizzie Rovsek.
“I was expecting Shannon to not like me and that pretty much went as planned,” Meghan explained. “Lizzie I was expecting to like because we’re around the same age and that worked out.”
Meghan did confess to being wrong about her predictions of how her relationship would be with Vicki Gunvalson. She continued, “I thought Vicki and I would hit it off right away and be friends but that didn’t go as planned.”
So what caused the tension between Meghan and Vicki?
“I think probably because I call out her faults,” Meghan discussed. “I think that Vicki goes around in circles when she talks and she likes to place blame and ask me about who I am and what my family’s about and then change the subject and talk about something personal. I called her out on what she was doing. And I don’t think she liked it, so she came more and more after me.”
Meghan also said that she and Vicki fought over whether or not Vicki’s boyfriend Brooks really has cancer. She said this is because her step-daughter Hayley’s mom is currently battling cancer, “so if somebody is faking cancer or if [she has] questions about it, that’s going to piss [her] off and [she’s] going to ask questions about it.”
Meghan also revealed how she is connected to one of The Real Housewives of New York City!
“My brother is good friends with Carole [Radziwill],” Meghan revealed. “My brother is a model in New York and they just got a dog together, Carole, my brother and another person. There’s two dads and one mom. They all live in different apartments and they share the dog. Her name is Baby, she’s so cute.”
