While Katie Hamilton may be one the newest Housewives on RHOC it seems that her time on the show may be over before it even truly begins. Last week reported that Katie’s husband Josh’s drug relapse could be featured on RHOC and bring some real drama to the reality show.
While Katie and Josh have spent the last several months filming RHOC it wasn’t until recently that their personal problems became too public for the new to reality TV couple.
Recently, Josh had another relapse with cocaine that is making Katie rethink being on RHOC. Katie’s decision to rethink being on the show is making many people unhappy especially producers. Apparently Katie has been fitting in very well with the ladies of the OC making producers very happy to have her in the cast.
It seems that since Josh’s relapse Katie has taken a two-week hiatus from filming RHOC to focus on her family but more importantly to avoid the cameras from filming too much of their personal issues.
It may be too little too late though since the couple has already filmed a lot of footage for RHOC. Reports say that they couple struggled with deciding how much of their personal life to show and how open to be about Josh’s struggles. Josh has publicly talked about his battles and his fight for sobriety but opening his battle up to the cameras is a completely different story.
It seems that the family might already be worried if too much was caught by the RHOC cameras since they were filming during Josh’s recent relapse. Sources are speculating that Josh’s relapse and the fights surrounding it may have been caught on camera leaving many to wonder if Bravo will air the footage.
I truly feel for this family, and hopefully they decide to do what’s best for them even if it means leaving the show.
