Jacqueline Laurita is the latest Housewife turned author and is working on writing not one but two books.
Jacqueline, who is a trained cosmetologist, is taking her 20-plus years of knowledge and writing a beauty, style, and wellness guide called Get It: The Busy Girl’s Guide to Getting Your ‘It’ Together.
“It’s about getting centered, on track, organized, healthy, fit, beautiful, youthful, stylish, sexy, and getting peace and happiness,” Jacqueline tells Mr. Housewife.
But Jacqueline also confirms that she’s working on another book with her husband, Chris, about a subject that they are very passionate about.
“I have another book I’m also working on called Defy Expectations with my husband, Chris, about our journey with autism,” she revealed.
Jacqueline and Chris’ son, Nick, was diagnosed with autism in 2012 and the family has been very active in the autism community since then.
“People that aren’t going through it don’t understand it,” Jacqueline says. “I love having the opportunity to be able to show people because honestly, what’s given me strength is listening to everyone else’s stories, their struggles, their successes. That’s what gives us hope and strength, so if I can do that for someone else, then it feels so good to me.”
Jacqueline tweeted confirmation about her beauty, style, and wellness book, and it seems that the book is co-authored as well.
I can totally see Jacqueline writing both books since she’s very knowledgeable about the subjects. I just don’t know if RHONJ fans are going to take her beauty book seriously considering the amount of plastic surgery she had done on RHONJ alone. I’m interested to see what the beauty, style, and wellness book is all about considering I’m pretty big beauty junkie myself.
Are you interested in buying either of Jacqueline’s books? Do you think she will be a successful author?
