It’s a relief to report that Joe and Teresa Giudice’s Montville, NJ home was NOT raided by federal agents! Multiple sites were reporting that the Giudices hadn’t followed through on drafting a payment plan for restitution before Teresa begins serving her 15 month prison sentence. The Giudices have paid back $200,000 in restitution, but they still owe $214,588.90!
Sources were speculating that on Monday Dec 15, 2014, federal agents stormed the Giudice home to confiscate Teresa’s jewelry, Rolex watches, cash, plasma TVs, and $11,000 worth of Christmas presents.
Well, it turns out that none of it is true! According to NJ.com, Teresa’s attorney James T. Leonard confirms that the raid story is completely fabricated! In addition, he promises
“That Teresa is “complying 100 percent” with the U.S. Attorney’s Office to satisfy the restitution. I can tell you with absolute certainty there was no raid and there [were] no assets seized.”
I’m glad to hear that her kids did not have their Christmas gifts confiscated by the feds! Furthermore, it’s relief to hear that Teresa is doing everything possible to make amends for her crimes. How do you think Teresa and Joe will pay back what they owe? Are you pleased the Guidices weren’t raided? Discuss!
