It was recently revealed that Teresa Giudices’ daughter Gia Giudice had joined a girls group named, 3KT, which she formed with friends Alexa Maetta and Christianna Cardinale. Gia released the girls first ever video and got some backlash for it for some racy outfits. Gia is now responding to the backlash saying she doesn’t think the outfits were bad. She told Access Hollywood, “We obviously got our parents’ approval. I personally don’t think the outfits were that bad. My parents think it’s fun. My mom was there every step of the way. And when my dad saw it, he was like, ‘Nice, Gia.’ I just want to make them proud. That’s all that matters.”
That’s not all. Gia and her band even launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the project hoping to raise $7,500 by December. So far the girls earned about $400. The girl group writes on the Kickstart,
“WE LOVE OUR FANS! We are still so overwhelmed by the buzz and support over our first music video cover “Circus” (originally by Britney Spears WHO WE ADORE!). So many of you had amazing words of support for us on our new journey. We were born to perform and entertain, and we are so lucky to be able to do this in such a big way. We want to empower and inspire other young performers to FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS AND NEVER GIVE UP!”
They also reveal they are trying to get the video released by Thanksgiving.
As for how Gia is feeling about her parents sentencing, she says, “Honestly, obviously, any news that is hurtful or horrible to hear is so upsetting. But my family is probably one of the strongest families I know, so we’ll get through this. It’s gonna be fine. And when it’s over, we are gonna be better than ever.”
Glad Gia is having such a positive attitude! I also thinks it’s good that she is focusing on this girl group to keep her mind off things.
