Can The Real Housewives of New Jersey go on without Teresa Giudice? That seems to be the question on many fans’ minds now that the season has finally wrapped. With Teresa surrendering herself to prison come January, it seems unlikely she will be able to film for season seven, unless Bravo films her frequently until her surrender date.
Andy Cohen made a statement yesterday, reported on Bravotv.com about the future of the show, and to be frank, it sounds a bit uncertain…
He says, “we have not made any plans relating to the future of the Jersey Housewives…the final reunion is airing tonight, and we’ll go back and meet and talk and re-evaluate soon.”
Hmm, normally casting is just re-evaluated, not whether or not the show is coming back (minus RHODC and RHOM).
Andy also shared more thoughts on Teresa and Joe’s circumstance:
“What’s happening now with Teresa and Joe, was challenging and unusual and just—you know—surprising. But I don’t think that it’s fair to say that there have been tragedies that have been associated with other people’s pursuit of fame,” he said. “In other words, Teresa and Joe are being prosecuted for something that happened before they were even on the show.”
Are you surprised by what Andy had to say? Do you think the show will OR should return?
