Phaedra Parks Opens Up About the Challenges Facing Her Marriage

Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida’s marriage has had it’s share of ups and downs. Between cheating rumors and Apollo’s legal issues the couple has truly been through the ringer. The two shinning lights in the estranged couples life is their two sons, Ayden, 4 and Dylan, 1.

While the marriage between Phaedra and Apollo is completely over as Phaedra filed for divorce last month she recently sat down with Access Hollywood Live to discuss her relationship with Apollo. Many would believe that Phaedra would have some seriously bad things to say about Apollo but it looks like she is going to respect him and their family.

“Although I live my life in public, I don’t obviously live everything in the public,” Phaedra explains“This is not due to just him being incarcerated, it’s a culmination of things. We are better and healthier individuals now that we are apart.”

“There’s no benefit to mudslinging because we have two very young children,” she continues. “I want [Ayden and Dylan] to look back and have them think she handled her affairs with dignity and class. I would never diminish my husband, whether we’re married or divorced. He will always be family. I will always love him. And we will always love our children.”

I think this is the best decision she could have made especially for her children. One day her children will be old enough to google their mom and dad and to watch RHOA so it’s best that they don’t see their mom bad talking their dad publicly.

What do you think of Phaedra’s comments about Apollo and their relationship?
