Teresa Giudice is set to begin serving her 15-month prison sentence on January 5th, 2015. Many RHONJ fans are worried about Teresa and what her life in prison might be like.
Fans of Teresa and RHONJ shouldn’t fret too hard over Teresa’s prison sentence since it looks like her new digs won’t be like a scene out of Orange Is The New Black.
Radar Online is reporting that Teresa has apparently been sentenced to serve her prison term at the Alderson Federal Prison Camp, a minimum security facility, in West Virgina. This prison is used to famous prisoners; past inmates include Martha Stewart and Danielle Chiesi, who both served time there for insider trading. In fact, the prison’s nickname is Camp Cupcake.
While at Alderson, Teresa will be required to do manual labor including laundry, cooking, and trash pick up. And unlike most prisons, the prisoners at Camp Cupcake are housed in cottages. The facility offers yoga and cooking classes for inmates as well.
The prison itself may sound like a piece of cake; there are definite drawbacks for Teresa.“Alderson is in West Virginia, which would make it almost impossible for her to visit with the kids on a regular weekly basis,” a source explained.
Camp Cupcake seems tame compared to where I thought they would send Teresa. The atmosphere at Camp Cupcake sounds like it will be a more pleasant and non-threatening place for Teresa’s children to visit her. Hopefully, Teresa ends up, and Camp Cupcake and it can give her children and husband comfort and peace of mind.
