Yesterday Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks husband Apollo Nida was sentenced to eight years in prison after being involved in a money laundering scheme. Phaedra has yet to respond to her husband going back to prison but an insider is telling HollywoodLife that Phaedra is worried about her children,
“Phaedra saw this coming and she and Apollo have known for a long time now that he’d be sentenced. It’s not a surprise to her. The only thing she’s worried about is Ayden and Dylan growing up without their dad. She knows just how important it is for her children, and young black boys in general, to grow up with a father. It’s devastating to her that her two boys will miss their father during some of the most precious growing years of their lives. Indeed, Dylan is just over a year old, and Ayden has yet to enter kindergarten. These are super important years that Apollo will be missing out on. Phaedra wants nothing but the best of the best for herself and children, and the fact her husband is about to go away for a long time, leaves a bad taste in her mouth. She’s embarrassed but knowing her, she’ll be all right.”
