Gretchen Rossi may not be on The Real Housewives of Orange County anymore but she reveals “never say never!” Gretchen spoke to Wetpaint at the premiere of her new show Marriage Bootcamp where she discussed coming back to RHOC, what she is hoping viewers can see in her relationship with Slade, and why she feels Marriage Bootcamp is a better fit!
While Slade referred to RHOC as a “tired format” Gretchen said she wouldn’t totally push the show to the side.
You know what, never say never. The show became a little too negative and too toxic for me. But, if certain things change, you never say never.
Gretchen also hopes that in the time spent away from the Housewives, viewers will get a chance to see some truth in the rumors spread about her relationship with Slade.
When we turned the page with Housewives, we really wanted to go to a place where we could learn and grow — whether that was TV or not, we had no idea. So when WE tv came to us, we saw it as an opportunity to grow in our relationship. No relationship is perfect, and we had some issues that we wanted to address that a lot of people had seen on Housewives — but they didn’t get to see the real picture. We saw it as an opportunity to maybe dispel some of the rumors of what people had thought and assumed about who he was as a person, who I was as a person, and, in the process, if we can help people because we share our story, great!
Constantly defending their relationship I am sure was exhausting, so I can’t say I blame them for joining a show where they can showcase their relationship. I also am not surprised to hear Gretchen would come back, and tired format or not I’m sure Slade would be right besides her! What are your thoughts on what Gretchen had to say?
