Screen Shot 2014-03-05 at 2.34.51 PM The Real Housewives of New Jersey plead guilty earlier this week in a plea deal that resulted to both having a shorter term in prison. It’s likely Teresa will serve 2 years in prison while Joe serves 4. Now Teresa and Joe are asking the judge to serve their prison terms separately so at least one parent can remain with their children while the other is in jail. Teresa’s attorney tells TMZ that they will ask the judge to have them serve consecutively rather than concurrently for the sake of their daughters. Teresa’s attorney is confident the judge will grant their request because the judge has granted similar requests before. And what does Teresa and Joe’s attorney have to say about the sentencing that will be on July 8th? He says it sucks but the outcome was the best they could hope for. He adds that the couple originally faced over 100 years in prison but luckily got a few in plea deal. Hopefully the judge understands where the Giudice’s are coming from and accepts there request. Thoughts on Teresa and Joe asking to serve prison time separately?

Teresa Giudice is expected to serve 2 years in prison, while Joe Giudice is expected to serve 4 years.
