The Real Housewives of New Jersey might just be the toughest franchise to figure out casting for because what makes this show unique from the others is the deep-rooted, intense family vibe! That leaves the casting pool a lot smaller.
Seasons one and two were all about the Manzos and Lauritas feuding with the outsider, Danielle Staub, while seasons three, four and five, have focused on the family drama of the Giudices and Gorgas. With viewers getting over this storyline, what could be a nice change for the show?
Teresa Giudice tells Out In Jersey her opinion! “You know, if anything I would like to have another family come on and join us. Kathy has three sister-in-laws that are Lebanese, so that would be an interesting twist to bring on, and it would definitely keep it in the family,” she explains.
It would only be fair for another cast member’s family to get picked on! Teresa explains, “For me, I don’t want to fight with my family, that’s not something I signed up for. Right now, we are in a good place, and I’m gonna stay in that good place.”
Teresa also reveals that the relationships between her, Joe Gorga, and Kathy are not how they were raised growing up! Teresa also clears up that the fighting is magnified by the show and that she teaches her daughters not to fight.
“I would know how the show works though, they want drama; but you don’t want the whole world to see that. I definitely try to instill that in my girls though, you don’t fight with your sisters, that’s never ok. They are your family,” Teresa adds.
Do you think Kathy getting her sister-in-laws on the show would be fun to watch? Would she ever be up for that, even though she came on the show as Teresa’s family? Was that a dig at Kathy?!
