Alexis Bellino may have been left out of the clam bake at the season premiere of Real Housewives of Orange County but she is speaking her mind about what went down! Vicki arrived with a freshly nipped and tucked face and therefore she was still very swollen.
The women gossiped about Vicki’s face and made some not so nice remarks, which Alexis is not taking kindly to. She slams the ladies for not asking her directly and just being catty behind her back. She also says Gretchen is not a true friend, which is why Vicki was being vague about her status with Brooks! Alexis writes:
It was ridiculous for everyone to stand around and gossip about Vicki and how swollen she was rather than just asking her what she did. It probably would have broken the ice and helped if one of the women would have pulled her aside and acted like they cared to know what Vicki had just done to her face. There is definitely no hiding it, so may as well confront it. And what if, by some chance, her face would have stayed that swollen forever. Wouldn’t they have felt bad for gossiping about it behind her back if that were the case?
The badgering of Vicki doesn’t stop with her surgery either. It continues with her relationship status with Brooks. I completely disagree when Gretchen claims that Vicki is lying about her relationship. Vicki is simply being vague, and it’s because no matter what answer she gives to them she is judged for it. Yes, Vicki and Brooks are on-again-off-again a lot, but she is being guarded when they ask her, and I can hardly blame her. Vicki acts vague about it because she knows Gretchen is not a true friend and she is tired of being judged about her relationship.
Slade also appeared on this episode as he hosted his radio show. In it, he moved on from calling Vicki Miss Piggy, to calling her Mickey Rourke! Alexis slams him, saying that only people who are “bottom feeders” and rely on name-calling to increase themselves do this. Alexis says:
Ugh, do I really need to comment on this next topic? Yes I do, because I am disgusted by it. I will leave it to this: people that make a living on TV or radio (or anywhere) by insulting, demeaning or name-calling another person to increase their own personal ratings are bottom-feeders…the lowest form of life. Just ask Kathy Griffin. She was the queen of the bottom feeders last year. Hmmm, wonder what she is doing now? Anything for a buck. Unfortunately it seems this is becoming “acceptable” in our society. I don’t stand for this and I never will.
Alexis sure is speaking her mind this season so far! Do you agree with what she said regarding Gretchen? Is Slade a bottom feeder?
