Bethenny Frankel Breaks Down On ‘Ellen’; Says She Feels ‘Like A Failure’ After Divorce

Bethenny Frankel is arguably the most successful woman to come out of the Housewives franchises but lately she has been at one of life’s low with her divorce from her husband and father of her baby, Jason Hoppy. Bethenny has appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show and of course, could not mask her reality and broke down in tears!

The show airs this afternoon but Us Weekly has the scoop. Bethenny reveals to Ellen, “I feel like a bit of a disappointment to all of you. And I feel like a failure. I really put it out there. I wanted the fairytale. I thought I had it. And [my 2-year-old daughter] Bryn is my fairy tale. This is excruciating, I have to say.”

Bethenny adds that she tried to make this work but unfortunately it did not in the end. She adds, “The truth is, I wanted to rip the Band-Aid off so it could start to heal. This will obviously be better. I’m scared of the unknown future. You know everything, and one day you don’t know. So I’m scared. I’m older.”

The reality TV star and fitness/health guru even said that fan letters are being sent to her telling her that they no longer believe in love after Bethenny’s divorce. Bethenny continues, “I never thought I’d be a role model, but I think to some people I am, or have been. So this is an important time because it’s about what I do next. How I handle myself now with grace, with dignity. This is the time now that matters.”

It’s so true that the failure is not in falling, but in how you get up from that fall and rise above. Best wishes to Bethenny during this hard time!
