RHOA star NeNe Leakes dropped a bomb revealing that she is a grandmother! Bryson, her 22-year-old son, and his 21-year-old girlfriend Ashley welcome baby Bri’Asia two months ago and proud (very rich) grandma NeNe has cashed in and posed for pictures and done an interview exclusively with InTouch.
We saw Nene confront Bryson on last season of RHOA about a rumor she had heard that he had impregnated someone. NeNe, who was also left out of the news for a while, tells InTouch, “I only found out about everything because I ran into Ashley when she was more than six months along. I said, ‘You look pregnant.’ And she said, ‘Hasn’t Bryson told you?’ But he hadn’t because he knew that I wouldn’t approve of him having a child so young.” Interesting!
The young couple did have NeNe’s full support when the new baby arrived. Nene continues, “I always wanted to have a girl,” she says, “and now I have one! She’s just adorable.” NeNe’s support also came in the form of cash for the young parents! Having been a young mama herself, Nene says she paid for the entire nursery and all baby essentials. “I don’t want her to feel strapped,” she says. Nene tells InTouch that she just loves Bri’Asia and has splurged for her grandchild, buying “little dresses, sparkly headbands, and Gucci shoes…We just love her.”
I don’t see why Bryson would’ve kept this from his mom! He is an adult and we saw how she handled his arrest last season, but do you think NeNe should slow down with her work a bit for her family? Do you think being a grandmother will change NeNe’s outlandish ways?
