AllAboutTRH had the opportunity to speak with Real Housewives of Orange County’s star Vicki Gunvalson’s new boyfriend Brooks Ayers. Brooks has had a bad rap since appearing on the show and has been called out for friends and family who thinks he isn’t good news for Vicki! Brooks updates me on his relationship with Vicki and talks RHOC!
AllAboutTRH: So tell me how your relationship with Vicki is right now?
Brooks Ayers: Incredible. Absolutely. The thing is on TV people don’t see anything but the drama so everyday is a brand new day. It’s always something new but we’re better than ever.
I interviewed Tamra who confirms you two have a fall out in the season finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County. What are your thoughts on what Tamra has been saying about you on the show?
Stay tuned for the finale. However I will tell you I love Tamra and Eddie to death. Vicki loves Tamra and the reality is we have a lot of things that are taken out of context and as family and friends and business partners, sometimes we fight and that’s just what happened. I’m just a guy from the South and not from the OC so I get why they are questioning what my motives are and who I am.
What do you think about Briana being pregnant?
I’m not talking about all of that!
Don’t you want to congratulate her?
Not yet! [Tamra confirmed to AllAboutTRH that Briana is in fact pregnant while Vicki denied the claims.]
Are you and Tamra in a better place?
We are. We fought and we made up but that won’t be shown on the show.
Any wedding plans for you and Vicki in the future?
You know what? We’re totally committed to each other and we’re madly in love. We’re old enough to realize to take things slow and take baby steps and will just see what the future holds.
Are you still living in the Mississippi?
I actually have a place in Orange County and I have a place in Mississippi as well.
Do people recognize you since appearing on the show?
Yes. People approach me but I don’t like it. It comes with the territory but I don’t like it. I’m not used to my stuff being thrown out their in the public eye but it comes with the territory.
What do your kids think about you being on the show?
I have 4 children. My 21 year old son is in college and loves it. The girls he hangs out with watch the show and likes that their friends dad is on the show. He had 10-15 of his friends meet Vicki and that was kind of cool for him and I told him to work it. Vicki loves my kids. My two daughters 18 and 12 don’t love it as much. It’s weird for them and I give them their space about it. My youngest is still a toddler so she doesn’t know anything yet.
Do your kids like Vicki?
What’s there not to like?
Overall what do you think about the show?
I’m okay with the show. I know that all they do is show the arguments and the bad but it doesn’t define me and it’s something I’m okay with!
Brooks was really nice although I barely saw him with Vicki at the event! Thought on the interview? Do you think Brooks is sincere? Do you think he’s good for Vicki?
