Adriana De Moura of RHOM confirms that there will be a season 2 of “Real Housewives of Miami” and that there has been a few changes. Adriana says that they will begin filming season 2 in six weeks. She says that Marysol Patton, Alexia Echevarria and Lea Black will be back. That means Larsa Pippen and Cristy Rice will no longer be on the show. Adrianna explains, “Producers didn’t want this to go in a Basketball Wives direction. We’ll portray Miami the way it should be portrayed.” There has been additional wives cast but Adrianna is unsure of who the new wives are. “It was funny that people would criticize the show saying “Oh that show is so bad. I don’t even watch it”, but when the casting call went out all of a sudden, I’m not going to mention names, but now half of Miami wants to be in it.”
Larsa Pippen who will not be back next season tweeted, “I’m not doing the Real Housewives Of Miami because I’m in Chicago with my family.” Cristy Rice also tweeted, “Good Morning! RHOM2?-I don’t know what’s true or not-I have not heard from Bravo BUT I just wanted to share Adrianna’s confirmation w/ you!”
