As we previously reported, RHOA star Phaedra Parks has filed for divorce from her husband Apollo Nida, who is currently serving his 8-year prison sentence. A source told People Magazine that Phaedra will be better off without Apollo.
“She knows she will be better off without him,” the source says. “She’s a strong woman and a great mom and really adores her boys. This divorce is going to be the best thing for her. Apollo was always really jealous of her success and the fact that she was the breadwinner.”
The source added that Phaedra had no idea about Apollo’s illegal activity and that she’s very disappointed with how everything has played out.
