I dont know why Joe Gorga and Melissa lie and say they didint talk to Teresa before they got on the show. I was watching season 2 last night when Teresa is in the hospital having Audriana, she’s having a fun, loving conversation with Joe Gorga and he tells the dr to take care of her… those 2 m&j are such liars..

The hosts are trying to goad Teresa into bad-mouthing her family but she doesn’t take the bait. At one point she says, “that’s what you say.”
She does touch on the false controversy over meatball-gate noting that the remarks in her book about Caroline were reflective of their both appearing (in happier times) on the Rachel Ray show when they had their meatball competition. On the show (which I saw) Teresa bantered with Caroline saying basically the exact same things that were in the cookbook. Of course that was before the trip to Punta Cana when the Manzo boys GOT THEMSELVES arrested.
She wouldn’t even put Melissa on blast. She instead put her diplomats hat on and said that the reason Gia is now so upset about her brother is because she was used to seeing him every day before he hooked up with Melissa. She did say that she doesn’t know why things changed or why her brother is saying he and Joe Giudice never got along because, according to her, they got along fine. She says her father told her that when they were home together as a family they were just that – family but that once “new blood” comes in, that changes.
They even tried to get her to say she wishes Danielle were still on so she could re-assume the villain role to which Teresa responded no, she wished Danielle all the best.
It was obvious she was going out of her way to avoid saying ANYTHING that could be misconstrued and she pulled it off, coming off quite well, I thought.
I agree with everything you said she did not take the bait.
She kept her head up, smiled the whole time and was dignified, gotta love her!!

I also think that when she does these interviews they do try to get her excited so she responds, but she handles herself very well. and choose words carefully. So it does support the belief she can and does write her own blogs.

Helen Thanks so much for the recap I can’t see the video either. I’m happy to know she continues to hold herself well in interviews. She’s a very quick study! Even professional politicians and actors don’t come off as well as she does. It’s partly just who she is – charming, sweet and a cute little joisey accent. But partly she’s taken her training very seriously. Another piece of evidence that this is an inherently smart lady. By contrast, season 1′s mama comes off like an old tired b-itch.

To be fair, I believe that ALL those women are not only egomaniacs but narcissists too. I mean, who the HELL would willingly sign up to be on a national TV show knowing full well all the negative comments on blogs, and the rumor and innuendo on tabloids/tabloid TV shows that comes about by invasion of your privacy is a natural part of such exposure?
I actually find myself liking Teresa more and more because she is so fun to watch, and I adore her fashion/style. At this point with her (and in my opinion), it’s no longer about narcissism but about having embraced what the show allowed her to do — create cookbooks and promote Italian heritage as a viable entertainment entity.
The others can go scratch. And break a nail while doing so.
Actually, Honnie you are right for anyone to be on this type of reality show you have to have a huge ego it is a given. I know I would be frightened to do something like this and could not muster the courage to have been in my life for however long for 8 hrs of filming a day.
I do think in comparison to the other housewives with the exception of Kathy, that Teresa is relatively normal out of all the egomaniacs. I say that mainly on how she handles herself on social media and in interviews She doesn’t take the opportunity to talk about her angst every to seconds and it is family so there are other issues.
Also, I think Bravo is making Teresa look more like the martyr rather than the villian. I think this is because it is family and the fight is petty. Who texted what at what time and a 3rd party getting involved. I really sympathize with her and I think Bravo has edited the scenes to make her more sympathetic.
Know what? No doubt in my mind that when Teresa Guidice is completely free of Bravo, she will absolutely enjoy a nice TV career in friendlier environments to showcase her unique personality and future cookbooks/style books. She has that rare combination of “everywoman” and “star quality” that many find appealing and inspirational.

The enitre cast signed a multiple year contract before the show began. She could not walk away UNLESS Bravo agreed. If she did Bravo would sue her. Now Bravo has the right to cancel their contract at any point.
Bravo has already interviewed and FILMED Kathy and Lookers Dancer months before the season started. They were approved to be on the show AFTER their film was reviewed by Bravo. All of this takes time and NOT ONCE did Kathy, Rich, Lookers Dancer or even her own brother Mr PW Joey pick up the phone to say they were being interviewed for the show. Yet Teresa had friends that were filmed, interviewed and rejected for the show. Teresa knew all about. their process.
Bottom line Lookers Dancer and Mr PW Joey made a mob style tape promising to take Teresa down. They came on the show to hurt Teresa and gain fame.

Billy Bush said she wouldn’t walk away. We all know you cannot walk away if you are the main bread winner. Bethenny didn’t walk away from Bravo because she wanted to launch Skinny Girl which would likely never happen without Bravo platform.
I believe Teresa when she says she signed-up to do the show with friends and strangers. All of the Housewives shows were geared to that line of reasoning. The premise of Housewives was based on Desperate Housewives, so if would never enter Teresa’s mind that her SIL would come on the show. That was until Melissa let the producers know there would be drama.
Billy Bush said, “No one would watch the show, if everyone got along.” Ratings. That was directly from Billy Bushes mouth and he knows about drama two Presidents, a Govenor and a brother that ran away from the US Neil Bush. Please, Teresa is not an egomaniac. She didn’t want her family drama to be on National TV. I do not see any shame or egoism in that. No one wants that. Only a mentally disturbed individual would want their family issues an animosity to be brought out on TV.

No, that is not how it works. They sign a 5 or 6 year contract so that Bravo can own them for that period unless they don’t want them anymore. The contract that they sign every year is to do with pay and whatever money they make with their products. Even actors, when on a series, do it this way. And why should Teresa walk out? If you worked somewhere for 2 years and a family member got hired and there were problems would you leave? No, you’d want the relative gone. Once again everything is put on Teresa’s shoulders.

I was told during the Jill Zarin issue by someone in their corporate counsel at NBC that it is usually 3 to 4 years. Now that was Real Housewives of NYC. They said that first year is in question and it is a 3 to 4 year duration. I have never heard 5 to 6 years. I assumed all the shows were the same because it would be a cookie cutter contract. Five year contracts are a lot and usual for syndication, but not from the first 3 years.
But, it could only be NYC that did 3 and 4 year contracts.
Well taking this line of conversation a bit further,,, Caroclown has threatened to quit if Teresa is asked on for another season,, what do you think that says about their 5 year contract clause? it is that long or shorter? She started the same time Tre did, why would she be able to walk out of her contract sooner than Teresa?
I think I Caro isn’t going to be asked to return next season. But maybe that is just wishful thinking.

Walking away from your job is not that easy, I don’t care that much for some of my co-work or boss but Ive been working the job for 22 years, Why didn’t I leave when the time was hard for me on the job? The money, I needed it, so people can’t just walk away from a Job just because they can’t stand a co-worker anyone who can don’t need to work anyway.
I don’t think she should leave. This show is a huge marketing machine for the Reality Stars. Most of them are making millions from episode fees, endorsements, product sales, apperances, feeding stories to gossip magazines, ect. Until you are a “Bethany Frankle”, why leave? Even she knows how powerful the shows are with all of the product placement she has on her show. The ones that leave, you really don’t hear much from them. Or the ones that don’t push any products, don’t get the millions (She-by-who? or Kim Z. Tre, this is your show: stay, stay, stay, until they kick her off or giver her her own show. Just, leave your kids off the show. She is stong enough to take the Drama, but, this can have a serious emotional toll on the kids. Keep getting that money girl!!!! Keep having someone pump out those books!!! And keep the drama comming!!! None of the other girls can hold a show own their own, they have to come as a group. Stack that paper and keep running to the bank while we are all running our mouths (and typing on these keys).

She may very well have multiple contracts. She is Bravo’s money maker, she is the storyline and headline of RHONJ. It will probably cost her $$ to get out of the contracts. The “others” were not supposed to be a part of the show- Caroline was not an original idea, Mel, Joe and Kathy , Richie, and Rosie were not part of the deal when T signed on. Why should she get off? She was there first! They only came on for bad intentions. Not like others who use this a s positive platform to better their lives( LIke Teresa)
Actually, from what other bloggers have said its a three year contract with right to terminate after each season. But the cast member has no-compete clauses for the term of the contract. That’s also typically when a person will approach with salary negotiations.
But that’s besides the point – Tre answered the question diplomatically. She’s not going to (nor should she) put her private info out on the street. But she needs to make money – and she knows staying on the show helps her sell books (which bravo makes 10% of).

For those that can’t see the vid, it’s basically the interviewer grilling Tre about Melissa / Joe he keeps trying to get her to say “Melissa is jealous of me” that was a bit much. “SAY IT! SAY OUT LOUD MELISSA IS JEALOUS OF YOU AND DOESN’T WANT YOU TO HAVE SUCCESS” lol Tre was really uncomfortable in some parts you could tell. He then says if the family got along, the show would be boring and cancelled, Tre says she doesn’t like that though because it’s her family, and he say she has to sacrifice some family for good TV. wtf? lol The female host asks Tre how she feels being the new villain (ouch lol) Tre says she’s not the villain. Danielle is brought up, the cookbook, etc. You think Tre would be a lot better at interviews now, she always comes off so dumb and makes little to zero sense. The “Meatball” response she gave, wtf?

I typed the address in my browser as you posted it and it took me right to the site. The title of the present entry page is “Basta! With The Bullshit!” It is an entry about the “Mob Wives” and relates to a book I just finished that features some, shall we say, enlightenment on some cast members of the Mob Wives show as well as the puppeteer-producer, Jennifer Graziano.
Just so you know, in a week or so there is going to be a whole new format that a webmaster friend of mine from my press days is designing and hosting for me. It is unique and will feature not only individual forums for each show but also the capability for posters to create threads within each forum as well as personally develop polls. It will have photo and video capability and will prove, I think, very user-friendly. (I figure if it’s easy for me anyone will be able to work it). I think posters will enjoy the various, personal features that will include, full editing capabilities that would allow a poster to even delete their own posts if they so chose. As I said, a friend is doing it and when friends are doing you favors you don’t try and hurry them up but, I am told about a week from now or so.
I want to take this time to again thank Roxy for allowing me to talk about my new place and still hang out in hers. I like it here and plan on staying. You’ve been warned. Personally Corey, I think she did pretty well for more people trying to bait her! I think it speaks volumes on her part that she handles that pretty well. Unlike Melissa and the rest of the crew,Teresa does not immaturely throw anyone under the bus during interviews. She probably wanted to flip that table on the two morons giving the interview who were clearly trying to be provocative- EPIC FAIL.
Actually the host asked about why she didn’t leave and her response was about being under contract. If you can show us a link or an article where Andy Cohen said the contracts are annual that I would love to see as I’m sure would many others here. That has not been the case for years as far as I have seen. As I understand it the contracts bind the ‘housewife” but the network retains the right to keep or terminate the contract at any given time.
The Bravo contracts are done in 3 to 4 years. That is why they kept Kelly Bensimon on for 3 seasons. They are not year to year contracts, usually after the first year of taping. They broke Danielle’s contract through exception within the contract. Dina said she left for legal reasons or something similar that would allow her to get out of the contract and still go to another station.
The contracts are a bit one sided in that they allow Bravo to make cast changes, then they can change anyone at any time. The contracts are 3 to 4 yrs in duration, but they may not last the full term.
However, Talent contracts are not the same as true employment contracts. There are so many differences. This has to do with consideration for multi-year contracts, but if litigated consideration would be an element to void the contract or seek enforcement.
Further, no one can force someone to be on a show. This is directly from a much litigated case in the early 80s in which the the 13th amendment was the argument in the case. American Broadcasting Co. v. Wolf. There can be no specific performance which would mean keeping Waner Wolf as a broadcaster when he wanted to leave. The NY Ct. of Appeals stated no specific performance because it would similar to enforcement of the 13th amend (slavery and indentured servitude). This is a seminal case in the talent area. Teresa can get out of the contract, but she may have to pay monetary damages as Wolf did or injunction against her appearing on other broadcast/online media. This would effectively tie her hands in her ability to make money, which she needs. That is why she commented on signed contracts. It is a real issue if your skill set is appearing on media or you have to pay monetary damages.

One correction they might be 5 to 6 year contracts. I was going off of what I had heard from NBC on NY Housewives multi-year contracts and assumed they were all the same in duration.

I agree with you. Jac especially is acting like a scorned lover. It’s like she has been dumped and is so hurt by it that she is lashing out. I think Melissa has always hated on Teresa from the sidelines so any chance she gets to stick it to her she takes it. Kathy, I’m still not sure about her. I don’t think it is hate or jealousy but it is definitely something with her & Teresa. At the solistice party Kathy seemed so uncomfortable when Lauren said what she did about Teresa, yet Kathy just sat there & didn’t say a word. I would love for her to one day speak up just like her mother did and tell all of them to stop talking smack about her cousin. But that is wishful thinking because I don’t think that will ever happen. And Caroline, that is one bitter cold witch. She seems to be so miserable and full of hate towards Teresa that it is scary. I would love for Teresa to completely ignore Don Caro at the reunion, not even look at her. That would drive her crazier than anything that could possibly come out of T’s mouth.

Mima, ITA and regarding Kathy, apparently the Gorga family has history of serious issues. Kathy’s mother stated that she and Tre’s dad (her brother), did not get along at some point and didn’t speak for years. Clearly this is within the bloodline and loyalty seems limited.
As I’ve said many times, Kathy is back peddling to save face in view of the backlash they are starting to receive. She’s attempting to build a brand of her own and probably suspect it in her best interest to befriend the cousin who was once the enemy.
I think most Italian families have relatives who don’t speak unfortunately. We’re passionate and usually outspoken about our feelings…if you’re easily offended and aren’t the type to argue, it can be very intimidating and scary I imagine. I just had one of my aunts tell me yesterday that years ago I made a “funny” comment about her wearing too much perfume-and she was still upset about it! Lucky for me, she didn’t hold it against me because the last thing I meant to do was hurt her feelings. Something stupid like that can cause YEARS of bad feeling!

Good for Teresa setting the record straight about Joe. I do believe he loves his wife and their family. Clearly Joe Giudice sees through Joey Gorga’s famewhore ways. I love T, her dress and shoes are soooooo good!!! But, she has to get a speaking coach. (maybe sell one of those $3,000 LV or Gucci bag or shoes) She needs to be able to finish a sentence or two. Her speaking ability makes her seem like she is faking her way through the questions. I have watched her on serval shows over the past few weeks (Wendy, Anderson, Access Holly, ect.). It just seems like she is not being open and just smiling and faking through the questions. Articulate how you really feel and finish your sentences Tre.
Tre does have difficulty when speaking, but I’ve noticed that her brother Joe does as well (but he tries to deflect his by insulting Tre). Could it be that they are more comfortable with the 1st language than English?…..JMO.

I have said before, I think Teresa ‘thinks’ in Italian. Compound that with the stress of knowing E-V-E-R-Y, S-I-N-G-L-E word you say is going to be parsed for hidden meanings and it is no surprise that Teresa appears to be fumbling for just the right word because that is exactly what she is doing.
To me that’s what makes her adorable. She gets genuinely tongue tied during interviews and she’s not slick and rehearsed. Just my two cents.

Patticakes, I grew up in a home much like Teresa’s and there are times when I know what I want to say in the Sicilian dialect which was spoken in my home growing up and have difficulty trying to find the right works in English. Some things don’t translate well because we don’t express it like that in English.
That’s very true. When you grow up with one language, and then have to assimilate into another one, sometimes the words get bollluxed up in your head. This happened in my Italian family also….zipper was pronounced Dzipper for an example.. it doesn’t indicate stupidity on any level.

Going back to the 1st episode this season, when she was walking with Jac and Lauren (the blk commercial…..) she made the snide remark about teresa needing to “get off the boat”.

At the risk of being a crazy conspiracy theorist, I really think Bravo knew what it was doing when they brought Melissa and Kathy on board. I’m think this was their plan all along. We’re civilians and can see right through Melissa and Kathy’s fake, well, fake everything. I can’t imagine a group of saavy TV execs couldn’t see them for what the tacky trash they really are. And an older post mentioned the back-to-back filming being part of their grand plan.
The stroke of genius was setting up the Posche fashion show drama the night before the reunion filming just to get tempers hot and the wheels of controversy turning. I mean come on, there has been non stop talk about their feud in the Real Housewife gossip rags ever since.
And then they kept fanning the flames by turning Teresa into the victim during the early episodes of season 4, blocking pro Teresa comments on message boards, and leaving the attack on Gia as the straw that breaks the camels back? They had to know Jac was highly immature and an unstable babbler, Caroline a raging bully, Melissa & her sisters crazy jealous vultures, and Kathy a passive agressive people pleaser. And Bonnie’s tweet about Jac being encouraged to be mean to Tre? I sure don’t need any more proof.
It’s ultimately these four who were used by Bravo because I bet money on them
being hung out to dry in the coming epsidoes. And we will tune in by the millions to watch it go down. Genius!!
Hmmm. I definitely think BRAVO knew exactly who and what they were getting with Melissa and Kathy – SCUMBAGS who would do ANYTHING for drama, even try to destroy a family member to the world – and how juicy and nice that would be for ratings whether it worked or not. I also think they knew, yes, the back-to-back filming schedule would maximize the drama and tension – again, RATINGS. Pain, sorrow and strife in a family is tough; pain, sorrow and family strife that you can never get a rest from can be intolerable ( back to back filming schedules ) and could induce a nice, juicy on-air breakdown. I’m not sure, however, that they had a grand plan to set Teresa up as the VICTIM. I’m not sure early on there was any evidence she’d ever act like one or be sympathetic in the least – they might have been expecting her behavior toward Danielle in the country club. I don’t think they knew she’d become as commercially successful as she has; nor do I think they could have anticipated just how much the public would identify with her struggles and how she’s been able to overcome them. They knew Mel and Kathy would try to ” take her down” ( they promised that on TAPE !) but they, like the rest of us didn’t know how Teresa would react to those attacks. She could have, for instance, gotten all white trashy and flipped some more tables; she could have cursed her brother out like a sailor instead of just sitting there, crying in total disbelief that her own family member is doing this to her; she could have revealed all the secrets she no doubt knows about him in a fit of rage, to get him back or just to get him to BACK OFF. But she hasn’t done any of that. She just sat there ( is still sitting there ) pretty much silent, sad, crying, holding her tongue and taking his abuse out of some loyalty to him and family – THAT I’m not sure they expected. I know personally, she’s continually surprised me with her amazing stamina, tolerance, calm and grace under pressure. I mean this woman is an absolute role model for people facing seemingly insurmountable adversity. I think it’s possible BRAVO might have wanted to see her BREAK DOWN on screen – oooohh so juicy! But not become Saint Teresa of the Housewives ( I say with love ) which she most definitely has.
Another thing though – and if you think other ppl don’t already know this, please pass it on…
It’s been reported that BRAVO gets a cut of every $ these housewives make as a result of deals they were able to get due to or since being on the show. So as much as I support Tree and will continue to buy her books and products for HER, it kills me to know that BRAVO is getting a cut. So yeah, at the end of the day, even though I don’t think this turn of events ( Tree ending up being seen as the victim and therefore more supported by the public and therefore more commercially successful) is what they ANTICIPATED, it’s worked out nicely for them, hasn’t it?
I think they intended to throw tree under the bus bc they thought Melissa was a more marketable replacement, but after the season 3 reunion aired they decided to give Teresa the better edit in season 4 bc of the overwhelming backlash Andy got for the gang up on her.
Radar has a story with a “Bravo source” putting Caro on notice that Teresa is the star of the show and the Laurita-Manzos need to back off because they’re totally expendible. I do think the entire thing was deliberate to cause drama, but I think Bravo underestimated Don Bozo’s ego and how extreme this vendetta was going to get.
Seven is that a NEW story? If so, that’s juicy. I’ve always thought Andy Cohen let Caroline get away with murder. The public hates her and I keep wondering at what point BRAVO will say “enough” with her. Sometimes the public’s hate for someone actually ends up being GOOD for ratings, but I really don’t think that’s the case with her. I don’t think ppl are tuning in to watch Caroline bash Teresa non stop. She NEVER gets the tough questions and doesn’t appear to ever be pushed into revealing stuff about her private life via her story lines that she doesn’t want to. That said, I think she has revealed some things she didn’t want public by ACCIDENT or unplanned incident – like she is a total hosebeast and a terrible mother for instance. I think the steady pattern of being in a semi celebrity bubble for multiple seasons, girls screaming for Albie at every grocery store they promote BLK in and Andy Cohen’s cover have led her to believe she was more popular than she really is with the public. And I also really believe she thought Teresa was going to go the way of Danielle – The Don would simply will it to happen, stop filming with her, get everyone else on the hate train and them make an ultimatum to Andy/BRAVO. Whoops.

I can kinda sorta see them giving Tree her OWN show, but getting rid of her entirely? No way. And if they move Teresa to another show, the Mel/Kathy/JoeGo/Caro/Jac dynamic disappears. Then the only thing to do is either get the 4 of them to turn against each other for major drama, or bring in new cast members who promise to bring the fight to them. Your probably right jersey. Sad but true. they have been doing this franchise for how long now? Long enough to figure out what sells , what brings in the ratings. They knew they hit gold @ the reunion when D stab brought up the family and T went nuts!! Then Mel’s tapes got more looks, Joey chimed in , the rest is history.. It was a win win for Bravo no matter how you look at it.
That or they are feeding into stereotyping New Jersey Italians. Seriously, take a look at Jersey Shore, Mob Wives, RHONJ. IMO they hopped on the bandwagon and created this drama to help propagate the stereo type Italians up North/NY/NJ (Former Yankee, now living in the southern U.S.)

This is how I picture Teresa at Season 4 reunion, end, when Andy asks what’s next.

Dramatic pregnant pause. Andy looks at her, mouth agape (no flies buzzing in) as he is speechless. The other women also have similar open-mouthed gapes, laser-pointed eyed at Teresa.
“Youze all,” Teresa laser eyes quickly at Caroline, Melissa, Jacqueline, Kathy, — one by one, “can go scratch.”
Teresa smiles, then says, “I’m outta here.”

Enjoying the comments, and adding a reminder about the exec producers who all come from a sort of MTV background, catering and pandering to a younger more drama-filled crowd, putting more gay-friendly influences into the episodes, and buddying up with the cast members who are more easily manipulated by a few pats on the head. If you read the tweets between the cast and producers, it’s the exact ppl you’d predict—lots of teehees and really immature stuff on both sides. Does anyone associated with these shows have an ounce of professionalism?!? It’s like they all have diarrhea of the twat. (and were these some of the ppl involved in the brawl?) ((and btw, what is the latest update on lawsuit?))
I guess the Gorgas were supposed to fit the bill for the younger generation(maybe they do)-but I also think they are not nearly as popular as expected. They may be cute, but they’re also sketchy. Especially sketchy when they are the only side we see consistently bashing the other. They want to get along, then do talking heads that insult their family.
Ditto for the Wakiles. I honestly don’t even know what the point of their appearances are. Nice ppl, but yawnsville. A lot of ppl don’t even know that Kathy is a cosmetologist, and her husband owns a gas station. And showing her hub at work with his kid—what other hubs get more on-air time than the actual h’wife?!
Mrs. Soprano has never been a popular character with me. I never wished she were my mommy or admired her style. I have always believed she was a bully, since the first time I saw her in operation, from her first Reunion where she fake-cried over her FIL. And remember how she tried to bully her own sister into NOT getting along with Danielle?
There’s nothing I could add to the Grippe-Laurita-Holmes disasters that hasn’t already been said, except: Was Mr. Holmes cleared of all the arsonist/insurance fraud charges? No wonder Ashley Holmes is a mess, considering her grandmother was mostly responsible for raising her. I would pay Bravo to stop showing JacLaurita crying over her grown-assed daughter every episode. And point out that Ashley has been signing her own contracts with Bravo and getting paid separately for a while now. THAT is why they air her dirty laundry.

One more thing: I think the Gorgas and Wakiles got it terribly WRONG WRONG WRONG by choosing to hitch their wagons to the Manzos and Lauritas.
They’d be a thousand times more popular if they sided WITH their family rather than against their family-especially because they’re siding with ppl who have really been exposed as spiteful and vindictive.
If the Gorgas and Wakiles were SMART (starting with hiring better management to guide them), they’d reconcile with their family members and take over the series by entertaining viewers with fun get-togethers and trips, etc. People want to see the fun side of these families, not constant bickering and belittling, egged on by outsiders. UGH.
I think that would be MORE popular than Real Trainwrecks.

With a few tiny exceptions she’s tried to keep her mouth shut, not react too much and avoid the PRODUCER-induced fights. SHE did not start the fight at the “Solstice Party”. Lets face it, that fight started in a production meeting. Jac invited Melissa to ride with them ( because she couldn’t find her own way), but not before they all met SANS Teresa at DonCaro’s Advice Den — her kitchen — where Jac and Melissa proceeded to do a little back and forth dance offering bits and pieces of information with the intention of whipping The Don into a poorly acted frenzy ( she already knew ) and compelling her to ask ” WHAT? What did the Dastardly Tree do/say???” Then, everyone’s favorite Lesbian, Rosie harassed Teresa into ” talking about it ” til she relented at the party. Jac kept the current flowing by egging and urging on her ” good friend “. Yeah, TERESA is the one “bringing the drama” that Don can no longer tolerate. What she can no longer tolerate is Teresa being the star.

Bravo isn’t going to let Teresa go, she is a money maker for them. Bravo gets a % of the products that she makes money on, also advertisers put their money on her appearing. She also makes money that she spits with Bravo for making personal appearences. She is their money machine and because of her personal financial situation, they have her between a rock and a hard place.
Her debts were forgiven, she is paying off HIS debts.
They are married. Their debts are “their” debts, there is no “his” debt or “her” debt. Perhaps a case could be made if their bankruptcy had been the result of a gambling addiction but it is pretty apparent that’s not what we have here. They incurred their debts because as a ‘team’; a husband and wife, they thought at the time that hog-wild spending sprees were sustainable. They incurred their debt together and that’s how they are working to pay it off. And whether it’s Teresa at a paid gig and Joe home with the kids, they are still working together to take care of ‘their’ family and ‘their’ debt.

I saw that also. Ash, like her Grandma and Mother will be the first person to say antagonizing comments. When people respond, they get more crazy! I found it be pathetic but right now its comedic I am not sure if they understand the concept of Reality Show, or being on tv in general? They also do not comprehend the fact that when they say things for the world to see and hear that people may respond back! Jac is all about dissing kids, disciplining and reprimand this week but still her daughter is the same now as she was as teenager. Why is no one guiding her to maturity and responsibility yet? Her comments to Teresa last week until yesterday were very juvenile and uncalled for. T never blogs , tweets or says ugly things about them or the rest of their family members.

I’m am so saddened by this season of the RHONJ. It was never supposed to be about who was the most successful. These women have all let jealousy, fame, money, magazine covers, and public opinions get the best of them.
My feelings about the women::
Teresa G: I think T is an endearing, authentic, real woman. The public has sided with her bc of this. She should have handled her family being added to the show a little better. The other women are green with envy and thus is very obvious. They didn’t even attack Danielle in this manner and she did a lot more to them. I wish her only success and greatness in her future endevors.
Jacqueline:
She used to be one of my favorites. She has now turned into a vindictive delusional woman. Her need to take T down is quite shocking. It’s almost as if she never even knew her. I feel she was forced by Bravo to bring the drama. She also has loyalties to Caroline which is understandable but her behavior this season is ridiculous. The public backlash has got the best of her and it has made her even more upset with T. I think she and Caroline blame T for the way the viewers have reacted to the show and it infuriates her. After her season 3 reunion incident I think Bravo will replace her and I’m sure she knows this. As the season progresses she will only look worse. I believe she has many financial problems and is a desperate woman. Be prepared for her to go balls to the wall at the reunion. She will have nothing to lose and will resent and blame T for her departure.
Melissa:
I’m not sure what to think of her. I don’t think we(the viewer) have seen the real her. Most of her scenes are contrived and very set up. She came on the show to destroy T and that alone shows me she is morally bankrupt as Cammille Grammer would say. She has always been very jealous of T.
Next season I’m sure she will be a completely diff person prob on Ts side. She is a little to phony for reality TV but I’m sure Bravo will keep her for season 5 simply bc she is willing to do n e thing to stay on the show.
Kathy:
I think @ heart she is a good person. I’m suspect on why she would join the show. I think season 5 she will come into her own sans Jac/Caro.
Caroline:
She is green with envy. I think she thought she or her family would be the breakout stars of NJ. This did not happen and she hates T for it. I also think the producers pushed her a little this season. It’s kinda sad bc it all backfired and she will also be let go at te end of the season. She will be guns blazing at the reunion and will blame T for everything when in reality Melissa and Kathy took her spot. Of them all I think she is the most jealous and hateful. She was under the impression that she was the matriarch of NJ and what she said goes. I think she underestimated T and the viewer.
This season has turned out to be a tragedy, but what can you do. Much like real life tragedies happen and life goes on…..
So happy Ts book made the NYT best sellers list. I hope @ the reunion she blows those jealous haters a kiss.

Playing devil’s advocate. Yes, I have grown to really like and admire Ms. Teresa, very much — she is the ONLY out of ALL the HWs out there past and present who I actually enjoy in my very soul. But still … anyone who signs on that dotted line to have some “fame” is an open target.
I find myself agreeing with everything you post, so I hope I’m not coming across as a kiss-ass. But you’re completely right–in order to agree to do a show like this you HAVE to want the fame/attention/notoriety.

That is true when you open yourself up to a National audience you should expect scrutiny. I do believe that Teresa received a bait and switch by Bravo and it is a catch 22 since she needs the money.
I like the fact Teresa has been saying the same line for 2 years that what changed was they brought on her family and a feud that was brewing slowly prior to filming. This makes the schism real and understandable to me. IMO.
Not sure Honnie you may be right about being famous but if you listen to her interviews, T said that initially with the cast it was supposed to a fun experience. Im thinking she had the plans for her products in the works due to her business mind set and knew this would give her her platform! Very smart decision for her minus the sneaky additions of her family. Still her products are taking off which is nice to see. I could totally see Teresa down for the fun! She appears to like having laughs and good times ( minus the sneaks)!
It is saying a lot that no one has come forward claiming to be Juicy’s mistress which is good for Teresa & her girls. At the same time, spouses are the last to know & I sense from Teresa she still remains skeptical, as she should. I hope she decides to move on from Juicy when he goes to jail for the sake of herself & her girls. Juicy should not be around her or her girls. I agree w/the poster above that Teresa desperately needs public speaking instruction. I also have seen many of Tre’s interviews on tv & all are disasters.
I don’t know if it is that Teresa remains skeptical or that she knows something that is between HER and JOE and none of anybodys fucking business. If there was infidelity on her husbands part and he has atoned, and she has forgiven the father of her four girls if not her husband, that is between she and he and them alone. She was some alllusion to this in one of the episodes but then again…it’s their business and if it wasn’t on screen, then it’s not fair game. That’s my opinion. I give her more credit if it IS true that she is staying classy, and not throwing anyone under a bus to make her look like a victim.
Unfortunately — when you sign up for a reality show, NOTHING is any longer between “HER and JOE,” it IS everyone’s business — that is part and parcel of the entire reality show contract. You sign it willingly. Or, if you don’t want your personal business out there — you do NOT sign it and therefore, don’t become “famous.”
I’m rewatching re-runs of Bevery Hills……Obviously some things are off limits, and nobody’s business. I.E. Kim’s substance abuse problems. Paraphrasing Kyle, we don’t show everything on TV and we shouldn’t, it’s private. So……If Tre and Joe have private issues it is NOT everyone’s business Nor do they need to respond to rumors. Or does that only apply to Andy’s favorites, like The Don’s financial issues (see Albert), her fight with Dina and other siblings, Punta Cana, shall I continue? There is plenty more with most of the House wives that they don’t explain or respond too.

Also the blk water case is still pending. As of April 12 2012 the case was made private meaning we will not be able to keep up with it. Either way Jac told all of us last month that the case was dropped the day after it was filed. Guess that was not actually the truth.
Jac is so quick to tell us ALL of Teresa personal problems including that Juicy was cheating, their money problems and the rest of the family drama. But the FEDERAL charges against Jac and Chris are MUCH worse than anything Teresa or her husband were ever charged with. And by the way most of the Teresa and Joe’s bankruptcy was business deb related to the crash of the real estate market. I never heard Teresa have a single thing to say about Jac and her bankruptcy. Just as I don;t hear Teresa say anything about the dirty little secrets of Looker Dancers.
