Love Tre! I still need to go buy her cookbook, and whip up some great dishes from her amazing recipes! I hope her recipes are low calorie meals because most of her Fabulicious meals have high calories in it, but i enjoyed cooking and eating it! =)

Teresa’s getting really good at this TV schmooze thing. I like how she took control of the segment and managed to work in all the details about her book (index, heart-healthy, etc.) ’cause it sure looked like Dumb and Dumber weren’t going to be doing anything but fighting each other for camera time. I have never seen the Today Show nor did I ever watch her with Regis so could someone tell me, does Kathy Lee always seem as though she’s three sheets to the wind or is she really three sheets to the wind?
Teresa is very good at keeping the segments moving!
In fact Hoda and Kathie Lee were having trouble keeping up with her.
THAT is a valuable trait on a show like this. I hope Teresa is continuing to work with PR firm or any person or group who can continue to develop her presence and production techniques because she is good at this AND she needs to grow past the HW thing. But I am pretty sure she already understands this.
I really like her, because she is making the most of her opportunities and keeping it positive and going forward.
LOL Helen Kathy always looks and acts three sheets to the wind. I cant stand that woman. She is all about herself i dont know how robin has co-hosted with her for so long.

Well done Teresa! She is getting much more comfortable handling herself – while I used to find her nervousness so adorable and so relatable (Translation: Real – not fake), it’s just so nice to see her coming into her own

So, So true!!!! She has grown and matured so much and really come into herself as a woman. It really is true when they say “adversity will make you or break you” . You can tell she is in a good place and is a good role model for her children. Life will be hard and things might come your way you never expected, but you don’t lay down and die and more importantly you don’t let other people define who you are are or decide your worth.
Now This is for those people out here who may think I am getting ready to canonize her. She is not perfect and made mistakes and has been pretty open about that part and “owned” it, the only one of the NJHW’s to do so. I so admire her tenacity, spunk and love for her family. I see a woman who is moving forward the best she can , she can only be responsible for herself, I hope to God one day her brother realizes it too for his sake the sake of his parents and decides to join her.

JanShe, Tku, that is very nice, I guess on a lot of levels I identify with her because there is so much we have in common culturally. Our backgrounds are similar, the family values we were raised with are too (be they good, bad or indifferent) and yes I am “old school Italian”. I have I apologize if there are those out there who find it offensive. It is just a generalization of what my reality was and is, I realize that for others their experiences were different and if they were better God bless you!
Being American born I am equally comfortable here as in the small town in Sicily where my parents are from to places like Florence where other family settled and still live. I spent lots of time there during summer vacations growing up and as a young adult.
A lot of who she is and what she does is wrapped up in that and she is unapologetic for being who she is just like I am. That doesn’t mean that she has not allowed herself to grow, just that she is very comfortable with who she is and in a day when everyone is so stinking insecure and needy for other’s approval and wanting to fit in, I find it refreshing.
I, like you, do wish Teresa the very best in the future. No one deserves to be kicked when they are down like she and her immediately family have been and subjected to such intense public scorn and ridicule. That your extended family would participate in it, I can’t even wrap my head around it.
How anyone can take such pleasure in someone else’s troubles boggles my mind. I would be waiting for a lightening bolt to come down from heaven and strike me for that kind of behavior, but that is just me.

I’m gonna try a vegan restaurant on my birthday, hope i like it.They had a chef on the Today Show two weeks ago, he was Portia De Rossi’s personal chef, and the meals looks very tasty.
Goog Job Teresa. I am impressed how you hadled yourself. Being a little nerveous show’s you arent all full of yourself and think you are so great even though most of us think you are great. Your parents must be so proud of you and how you have been taking care of your problems instead of denying them. I would also tell everyone not to talk about it. These people really just want to bring it up on camera anyway to try and make you look bad. Jac caused all the drama at that last gathering you were all at.
I think she deflected the question regarding the other housewives VERY well. She said..(with just a trace of sass…”You’ll have to ask them) Kathy Lee then said you know they’re jealous..Teresa didn’t even blink she just kept her segment moving and about her. I just LOVE IT! BRAVO (in the good sense of that word) Teresa!
LMAO!!!! OMG I had to watch it again I missed the part when Kathy Lee said Jealous you know they are lol. She hit the nail dead on the head.
I also noticed she was trying to say she had gotten a couple tweets (first Kathy congratulated her then Meho) but the ladies started to talk over her.
I thought that was great that she tried to give kudo’s for their support, but agree with her moving along with the segment instead of making a big deal to get that info out there.
This segment was about HER and HER COOKBOOK not RHONJ- still think it was awesome of her to add that to her statement.
And thanks for noting what KathyLee said…. didn’t hear that the first time- Funny how someone in the industry for 30+ yrs is seeing everything we are all seeing and saying it ON CAMERA! HA!

I love that she is getting better at these TV appearances! She did a fantastic job of hitting on the key points of her cookbook.
I can picture Caroline watching this and imagining how much better she would have done!
I can’t wait to buy the book, but I heard that she will be sellling it on QVC in June so I will wait to buy it there. She does really well on Amazon, so I’ll try to help her establish a place on QVC.
If any of you out there have not tried her books – I highly recommend them. They really are very good cookbooks. All fresh ingredients and easy to prepare. Girlfriend needs her own cooking show! This would get the cameras out of her home and give her family time to heal.

I think Teresa has come a long way. She did a great job. She is really coming into her own as a media personality and celebrity cook.

I noticed that, too. She was extremely poised. Best appearance I’ve ever seen her do. This is the first of her books I’m going to buy. I LOVE the fact that she mentioned Weight Watchers. I guarantee you that mention alone will drive sales.
