Melissa can’t even remember when she graduated from college (IF she did in fact graduate….) education is not a high priority with this cast (ie. Melissa, Joey, Kathy, Richard, Caroline, Jac, Lauren, Christopher, al, Chris L, joe G). Teresa and Albie are the only college graduates, if I’m not mistaken.

There are thirteen of them, and only two that we know of, have graduated from college. You missed Ashlee, Greggie, Vito and Rosie.
Ashlee did not go to college, I know that Vito was in college with Albie and probably graduated. I don’t think that Rosie ever went, and I have no idea about Greggie.
So now, we’re up to seventeen of them, and three of them went to college, one is a maybe.

I have to disagree with that I am in college to become a teacher and I am in my credential program the next step into actually being hired for a position and I have speech problems. I can’t pronounce some words right and I have always been that way. I have trouble with “r” words and even though I can say it correctly most of the time it still slips. I don’t like Melissa, but I just because she became a teacher doesn’t mean she has to pronounce words correctly people do have speech problems.
Jackie, you have a speech problem and you are not a poop head like Mel! There is a difference! She has no excuse, if she did we would have heard it from a magazine article flaunting herself again.
She could it’s embarrassing to admit to other people and like other people who have problems pronouncing words they can’t help it. My sister says confoosed instead on confused and shes 23 and she has always had that problem. Just because everyone hates her doesn’t mean that people can say accusatory things. I thought people were supposed be nicer on here and I do think some of the things that they say are funny, but other times its just mean and they are pretty much stooping to the level of the people on the RHONJ.

I get where you are coming from, and see you point!! But I am not nice with words regarding her because I , as a viewer, not just picking on her personally, do not like the person she is. However, if out the gate when first came on, if she had a legit problem or even a disability, I would not make fun of that. In real life, I would never do that. I am a sticker upper of people! I just do not like the person she is or how she treated others, so this little clip of woopsies is a no go for me.
Believe me I don’t like her either I hate seeing how she and the others are treating Teresa by saying one thing and doing another while all saying I just want this to work when their actions are speaking louder than words. Her Parents are first generation American’s (right off the boat), and spoke to their children in their native tongue which is Italian.

Do you need a social history lesson because this is common among first generation Americans, that their mother tongue is not English, but their parents national language. It is common among Indians, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Spanish, Brazilians, Mexicans, etc. Therefore, it is also common among first generation Italians. While Melissa is not first generation. Her mother is American. We have seen her. We have heard snippets from films of her father and he seemed to be American as well. This is not so for Teresa. Melissa should know how to pronounce “admit.” She has no speech impediment like Gov. Kean who had the common “r” speech impediment accompanied by a stutter. Melissa is just an idiot.

I was blessed to receive a wonderful education, and am a college grad…yet for the life of me can not say the word spaghetti. It may sound silly to you all, but no matter how hard I try it comes out as spagessi. I even think about it before I try to pronounce it and the same result.
That has been the point, everyone misprounces words. The ladies on the show and their fans act as if Teresa is the only one.

Melissa has a bit of a speech impediment. There are other words she has mispronounced as well. I’ve also noticed when her daughter speaks she seems to have speech issues as well. There’s help out there for that and they should seek it.

*applauds* renee!! Personally I come to this site and enjoy posting with people who actually see what’s really going on and will call a spade a spade! I wasn’t always a fan of Teresa but quickly came around this season when I saw what those morons were doing to her. There are alot of sites that bash Teresa every chance they get and yes Samantha maybe you should post there, you will feel right at home. There are so many people who see the hooker, the stump, the bozos, the drunk and frog eyes and bucky beaver for who they truly are jealous, spiteful no good assholes. Trust me, when Kathy and her family came on, I really wanted to like her because out of all of them they “projected” a normal family unit and now? No wonder Teresa didn’t fall all over herself to “fix whatever was wrong” with Kathy they are a huge embarrassment. If they were my parents I would be mortified. The Gorgas, just plain disgusting all around.

With all the gaffs Mel has Kathy never mentioned her questionable intelligence. The Manzo’s selective observations haven’t noticed that either. Caro says how sweet Kathy is. Just saying.
Melissa is friggin stupid! Plain and simple!! I would love to see her called out and asked to produce her college degree that she so called has. Teacher? pfft yeah right, maybe the “head” pole dancing, mouth hug giving teacher at Lookers! At least Teresa has a bonafide college degree and actually used it to get a job before she got married and had kids. What can Melissa say? Not much and I highly doubt a degree from stripper university can compare!
