Here’s my question. Melissa claims to always have had an interest in music/singing. Well, what has she done prior to coming on this show to promote her career? Did she major in music in college? There is a college very close to her familial home that is renowned for it’s music program, Georgian Court University. Did she go there and study voice? Did she become a voice/music teacher? She says she was a teacher, right? Does she play piano? Every singer I know has played piano from the time she/he could walk. They claim it’s the only way they can write music, while playing a tune. Did she live in a box for her craft? Did she eat ramen noodles for months at a time and have to burn the legs off her bed for warmth while she was waiting for her big break? How come we don’t hear these stories? Or did she just throw a hissy fit because her sister-in-law got on a show she wanted to be on and she had to have a “thing” too to be on it, so she decided to be a “singer?” Yea, that’s what I thought. Trash.
She doesn’t care about music or about working to develop a skill. She cares about standing on a stage and pretending that’s she’s a big star. She is delusional and desperate for attention, any kind of attention. I hate the way Bravo has ruined what used to be a good show. I wish they would fire Melissa and Joey. That witch belongs on The Gong Show and her husband in a zoo.

I have asked those questions repeatedly! I have also wondered why , if Joe Gorga is so rich, why did he wait to get on this show to build her a studio, or get her started with her auto-tuning? For her being a teacher, we will not get the true story Im sure! She doesn’t remember when she graduated for starters, lol ! And when Joe started his business she left being a substitute teacher behind- which that has changed from teacher, to subbing, to Sunday school teacher and the last one you need no certification for as I volunteered doing that also years ago.
