Video: Kim Zolciak Defends Why She Didn’t Go To Africa
This season on the Real Housewives of Atlanta the girls went on an Africa trip while Kim Zolciak stayed home saying she wanted to stay with her newborn. In this sneak peek video of next week’s episode Kim Zolciak defends why she didn’t go to Africa and the ladies talk the drama regarding Kim holding an African baby!
I’m team Kandi when it comes to this specific situation. I’m not feeling Sheree at all and I think she was just starting trouble. I’m not a fan of Cynthia but she makes a great point. If Sheree was so bothered by the comment why didn’t she say anything instead of immediately going back to Kim and reporting to her what had been said! Thoughts?

The fact of the matter is it wasn’t her cup of tea for OBVIOUS reasons.
She had a freakin’ NEW BORN a home!!!! Any idiot who claims it was for any reason except that is a complete moron.
On top of that, Kim and Nene were best friends for YEARS, and it wasn’t until Nene ATTACKED Kim, and put her hands around Kim’s neck, that Kim ended that relationship.
Kim going to Africa is really not an issue, she had a new baby and I don’t think anyone expected her to leave her baby–no explanation is required or necessary. However, Kim comes off so high and mighty that I personally wouldn’t have expected her to get into the visit to the orphanage. I could actually hear her saying things to the affect that she is in the wrong place. I mean there are no rich men at an orphanage and no dior or chanel.
My other Kim comment is this–I laugh so hard at Kim because when we were first introduced to Kim she was the mistress of one Big Poppa..you know he had a wife and some teens at home. Yet, Kim was on national TV exploiting her relationship and the luxury gifts she received from Big Poppa but now Kim would have us think she has lived as southern belle her whole life. I think the Big Poppa thing gets to me to much having to deal with infidelity and cheating, no just my own but among friends and family too.
Exactly! I agree! It gets to me too! When people call her out on it, she has an excuse for everything which is BS ’cause no one ain’t buyin’ it! Well, if they do, they shouldn’t. =)
Thank you RahRah for saying that. I had a low opinion of Kim to begin with and not one thing has changed my mind. She’s lazy and gets on my last nerve.
I’m not surprised she and Sheree have teamed up. They’re two peas in a pod. I can’t stand either one of them.
This video proves just how ignorant Sheree really is. Just because somone says “African” does not equate to “black”. Contrary to many people’s ignorant belief, Africa isn’t occupied by only black people. Believe it or not, whites, Arab, etc people live there. Africa is a continent; not a country.
I personally do not believe Kim would go to any orphanage, whether it’s in South Africa or Atlanta. She’s far too shallow. I like that Kandi is able to say “yes we’re friends; however, that doesn’t mean I like everything about you or agree with everything you do.” That’s what friendship is. You may not always like something about a person, but you can accept it and move forward.
I agree with Cynthia. If Sheree had a problem with the statement, then she should have said so while on the safari; not wait until a few hours later to report it to their “leader”. Sheree is so low, miserable, and vile. I actually feel sorry for her.
I think it is safe to say that based on that last bus tour, Kim is absolutely lazy and helpless, she expects to be tended by everybody, now even her daughters, she hugs her own baby and gives him kisses but as soon as he poops, she hands him to the nanny. Kim would have not gone to Africa period, baby or no baby, Kim doesn’t do what she doesn’t want to do. remember last year, during Kandi’s first promotional concert, Kim found an excuse not to go, that time Ariadna was sick (BS) . Kandi knows this and that is why she said it. Kim has problems holding her own baby, let alone another baby who smells like piss, poop, and has snots on his/her nose.
What Cynthia said wasn’t racist! Lol. A little bias, yes, but not racist. Sheree is just causing problems because she’s boring and has no life. I can’t even picture Kim in Africa because if she can’t even be on a damn tour bus with Kandi last year without bitching every minute or so, I doubt she’d want to go to an orphanage in Africa. I just don’t see it. I don’t see Kim as a racist, but being in a village… She’ll look down upon it. That’s just how I see her.
I bet if they were all going on a trip to Italy or Dubai, Kim would definitely go! Baby or no baby! She hardly takes care of KJ anyway. I should lend her my niece and nephew and see if she could handle them for one week without any help! Lol. I doubt she could even do that.
I wish someone would pop Sheree in her mouth! That doesn’t sound racist to me. If Kim was black, with the same attitude and lazy demeanor she has now, it would still be the same. She wouldn’t want to go or if she did, she’d be complaining the whole time. It just doesn’t seem a part of her character to go on a trip that involves visiting an orphanage, whether it was in Europe or Asia or where ever! I don’t believe it sounded racist to Sheree either. She just wants to stir up unnecessary drama. I don’t care for NeNe but I was so glad that she set her straight in the 1st part of the reunion.
I do not think any of RHOA would have showed up at orphanage in any country if not part of story line set up by Bravo. And children of ANY color

Last time I checked this is America and Kandi has every right to state her opinion and whether Kim agrees with it or not is kims business.

I agree with Sheree! What Cynthia IMPLIED was that since Kim is the only white girl in the group, she wouldn’t want to go due to some underlining racism. You can’t make a comment like that about someone and assume they the person you’re talking about wouldn’t get offended and think you were calling them racist. Sheree was right for telling Kim, but she should have done so at a different time and spoke up right then and there on the bus.
Furthermore, kandi is supposed to be Kim’s friend so she shouldn’t be co-signing anything Cynthia has to say! Even if kandi agreed, she should have kept that mess to herself! As a black woman I felt bad for Kim bc Cynthia was basically making it a race issue. Instead she could of said that she didn’t see Kim here in Africa in the dirt and heat knowing how lazy and prissy she is. That would have gone over MUCH better! All these RHOA women are a mess….well, most. I actually like Phaedra. She is funny. NeNe doesn’t annoy me as much as the rest, because she doesn’t appear to be phony. Yes, she’s loud and uncouth but that’s NeNe. Kim is trying to be something she isn’t: Classy! I wish she would sit it down somewhere. She talks about EVERYONE and got the nerve to try to step to people when they talk about her. If you can’t take it, don’t dish it out, honey. Kim put Marlo down for the exact same thing she used to do: Have sex for money. Just because you’re married now doesn’t wipe out what you used to do boo boo.
