I’m one of the few that actually like Jill, but I don’t get the point of this interview. I tweeted both Andy and Jill that very thing. No response.
Me too I believe Jill. That said IMO Jill got off easy. As we saw on Bethany’s show it appears her marriage to Jason was a similar deal in the eyes of Bethany. Once she is done having kids she will dump him and he will be lucky to get to see Brin every other weekend.
Wow, just wow. This women just does not get it. I have never seen anyone this clueless. One of her p.r. people should have advised her not to do this. I did like her calling out Bravo for favoritism yet she did appear desperate.

Jill answered her own question of why when Bethenny said “we’re done” the friendship ended. Jill wanted to be on Bethenny’s new show and Bethenny clearly did not want her on. Jill was riding Bethenny’s coat tails.
OMG just get rid of her! Did she forget that Bethanney did EVERYTHING to make amends. When the poor girl had enough, then Jill wanted back in! She has blamed everyone, Ramona, Bethanney but never herself!

I missed the interview because Jill wasn’t worth staying awake for. From what I’ve read here…I was right. Jill Zarin is a bitter yenta of a woman with no life and she is desparate to become relevant. She never will be and needs to quietly slink away to the rock from which she crawled out of and leave everyone alone. I don’t understand Bravo allowing her this forum to air her grievances when none of the other fired past housewives was allowed to do so. She sucked and no one liked her so they got rid of her..period, end of story.

Thank you! THREE times Bethenny tried to talk to Jill and each time Jill rejected her saying they were done. Jill said they were done before Bethenny ever said anything. Then she suddenly decides to change her mind and is upset when Bethenny if over it. Jill you had THREE times to mend things with Bethenny you didn’t want to so you struck out.

I thought the appearance was fine, but completely unnecessary. Is Jill desperate to get back on the air? Yes. Do I particularly care? No. Do I care if she gets back on television? Not really. But I do think she brings a differnet viewpoint to all of this. She clearly knows that the show is faked on a certain level and she expressed that in her discussion with Andy. I at least commend her for noting that she “wanted to make great television” and that it essentially blew up in her face. I do think, however, she should take the comment about her being so sensitive and consider working on NOT being so sensitive.
So, Jill, let me get this straight. You started a feud with Bethenny just so that you could have a storyline and didn’t let Bethenny in on the fact that is was just pretend. Then when Andy told you that your plan would end up making you look bad, you tried to mend things with Bethenny to protect your own image, and Bethenny is the bad guy for leaving you in the dust?

I have no idea why I stayed up to watch this, but I did. Here is the thing…she is a completely delusional person who lives in her own bubble of people who tell her she is great. She truly believe she has over a million people following her on social media. She said she never bought followers, which I doubt highly…also, something she seems to be NOT getting which Teresa did, was just because you have a lot of followers does not mean all those people like you. It means some people follow you just to see what you have to say. I loathe Jill Zarin and have periodically followed her to see how delusional she really is. And that is exactly how she came off last night…delusional. She said RHONY was totally suffering because SHE left, that viewers tell her all the time how could she congratulate Bethenny after ALL THE HORRIBLE things Bethenny did to her. Unless I missed something, Bethenny did nothing to her other then dismiss Jill’s presence in her life. She tried to make Bethenny look bad by being like “Bethenny never had a real friendship with me, it was all about business” when in reality, Bethenny begged Jill to talk to her and then when Bethenny turned her back on Jill and Jill wasn’t holding all the cards…she panicked, backtracked and tried to blame Bethenny. JIll is a very vindictive person and you can see it all over her face. She is bitter as hell that she got fired. I really shouldnt have even watched WWHL because it was just giving her viewers and solidifying in her mind how much everyone “loves and misses” her. WHen really I am sure a lot of people were just making fun of how delusional she is.
I think the way she (and others) get around saying they bought followers is that they actually didn’t buy followers. Instead, they paid a PR firm to buy followers for them. It is just a technicality, but that’s why Jill can sit there and say it with a straight face.

It sounded like a well rehersed Jill. She said what she felt would help her. I was not a big Jill or Alex fan, but felt Jill was cruel to Alex towards the end. Jill never did say she felt bad on how she hurt others, just wanted to kiss Bethanny’s bum. Felt she still wants to be a victim for what in St. Thomas. I also found it weird that she felt most like George…I guess Jill is an over-sexed dirty old man in real life!

I agree. I think Jill thought since, according to her, she was the first wife and she helped cast the show…that she was untouchable and she could “make or break” anyone on the show. I think she was pissed Bethenny wasn’t including her in stuff so she was like “watch me, I will make you pay for this Bethenny” and it backfired on her so bad it wasn’t even funny. I do agree I did not like Jill in Season 3, but she wasn’t that bad in Season 4. HOWEVER her behavior at the reunion was ATROCIOUS!!
Yep, thought she was untouchable but she wasn’t. I agree that she thought she was trying to make Bethenny pay for not giving her the time or attention she thought she deserved. When Bethenny told her to “get a hobby” I think that was her point. Jill needed something to keep her busy (something besides following B around town). IMO Bethenny would have been a fool to allow a user like Jill back into her life.
And yes, her behavior at EVERY reunion was ridiculous. You couldn’t hear what anyone said because Jill never quit blabbing and commenting under her breath.
In this interview, I saw the dynamic more clearly than ever—- Andy is the boss, the HW’s are the employees. Jill thought she had a great idea and contrived her fight with Bethenny, it didn’t go well that season, and someone had to get axed so it was clearly her.
It’s business. I get that more than ever now!

These storylines are just that- storylines. However, sometimes they get a little too real… cases in point: Bethenny and Jill, Teresa and her family.

The systematic bullying rant at one reunion, immediately followed up by the next reunion when they ALL were “bullying” Alex was laughable. I wanted to go through the screen and strangle every one of them.

Apparently, Jill thought this would be a two part special. (Web though she’s lucky she even got a whole one on one on WWHL because nobody gets that and especially no other housewife) so anyways, Jill was secretly having the whole interview recorded without Bravo’s knowledge and is now trying to sell it to bloggers (since she knew she wouldn’t be able to say all her bs in one show) and the bloggers contacted Andy. I guess Jill may have asked some crazy things Bravo didn’t want to include or thought was important. This is proof she is same old Jill and what she had to say was nothing new.. Still bitter. She was trying to make it seem like someone on set recorded it. She’s crazy!!

I actually like Jill as well and wish she was still on RHONY, as the show is painfully dull without her. That said – Jill is a classic insecure narcissist – yes I still like her, she makes for good TV and really think she means well, but she constantly gets in her own way. I haven’t yet watched the interview, but from the clips and even the commercials I didn’t get it at all…even looking at her tweets…she seems desperate to get bravo’s attention…. Why is she doing this to her self? It makes her look horrible..she has done a great job of staying in the public eye and moving forward, so why take such a large and seemingly desperate step back… As a fan I don’t get it….I hope she can find a way to move forward, and realize Bravo isn’t the place for her… I still wish her the best!
I might be alone on this but I loved Jill on the show, and had absolutely no patience for Bethanny at all. I boycotted a couple eps of this last season because Jill wasn’t on anymore. I’m surprised at how few viewers were not feeling her (didn’t read the blogs back then).
I’m with you, I have my limits with Bethanny – she is just as narcissistic as Jill imo, just is funnier and therefore more like-able. I think it’s telling that Bethanny closest friends are on her payroll – she needs all to be about her…so obviously Jill and Bethanny’s “friendship” was always doomed…wish Jill would simply move on..she is not doing herself any favors..

I liked Jill at the very beginning of NY. However, she turned into this awful mean girl. She admitted she played info up and then blamed bravo editing when viewers started to negatively comment on her. I remember once when she was on WWHL….all she talked about was her stupid book. I nderstand wanting to promote something but it was too much!!
The fact is she thought SHE was the breakout star, not Betheny. SHE wanted all the notoriety, not Bethenny. And the fact is, SHE ruined it herself, had she acted a smidge normal, maybe she would still be on.

I think Jill believed, and maybe in some part Bethanny was going along with this (as long as it benefit her) that they were like the Laverne and Shirley of RHONY and they were the stars of the show. And when Bethanny got her own opportunities to do other things (sans Jill) that’s when the drama started.
It was never about what Jill was portraying it to be on camera, it was always about what was happening behind the scenes and Jill never owned up to it. That’s why it was so easy for her to be fired. She played into Bravo’s game and then when they had no more use for her, they canned her.
Unlike for example Teresa of RHONJ or NeNe of RHOA who actively tell their fans and supporters about the behind the scenes shadiness that goes in. It makes it harder for Bravo to attack because when they do (like Andy tried to last season on Teresa at the reunions) the fans attack Bravo and Andy for it.
Jill needs to get over it. I DO think she was a big part of RHONY’s success and I do think the show is worse for her be canned BUT she played right into Bravo’s hands by trying to set a trap for Bethanny and make her look bad. Jill needs to lick her wounds and move on.
Jill saying that Bravo was like her parents made me LOL. I can’t even. BUT she did bring up a good point that Andy did take Bethenny’s side and it was pathetic watching Andy try to justify himself by claiming that he and Bethenny were never friends when she was a housewife.
