RHONJ star Caroline Manzo stopped by the Bethenny show with her daughter Lauren Manzo and was obviously asked about the on-going feud with former friend/family Teresa Giudice. Caroline answers what the real issue with Teresa is and says she will never be her friend again. Check it out below!
Caroline says that the ‘core issue’ is Teresa’s character because you know, Caroline’s ‘character’ is so much better. yeah Bethenny is on my do not watch list. She was picked on so she should have understood and left the subject alone. Bethanny said something to the tune of Teresa copying her skinny girl by naming her first book skinny italian and said some really mean things about Teresa.. Teresa said some really mean things as well.. but in the end I do believe Teresa proved that her Skinny Italian was copyrighted BEFORE skinny girl. Her book was in the works and named before Bethanny. I believe the blog is still up on BRAVO. It wasnt an episode blog but a blog recap that Teresa wrote around the time of scary island when Bethanny was on RHNY. I bet you could google “teresa bethanny fued’ and find all the details.

Why does Bethanny not like Teresa? Is it because of those blogs Teresa wrote about her? If so, shes a hypocrite. I remember the first season of Atlanta, and she was the guess housewife blogger for the show, and I’d memory serves me correctly, she slayed those women. Not just one or two, but all five over any and everything. This was before I watched NY, because I initally only watched Atlanta. I don’t remember ever liking Bethanny partly because of that, and also her condescending above all other attitude. She really thinks she’s the smartest best business woman of all the housewives. So yeah, Bethanny needs to get a grip and put an effort into keeping her man.
I don’t think it’s a fair to compare B to Tre. For one, B was still very much loved by the fans when Jill and LuAnn “turned” on B (Kelly already wasn’t on good terms with B, so she doesn’t count). Half of the cast liked B, but the other cast didn’t. With NJ, the entire cast can’t stand Tre, and the majority of the people who watched NJ also can’t stand Tre as of right now.
However, I do get what you’re saying: Tre and B were the breakout stars of each of their shows, and neither would have gotten so popular if it wasn’t for them. NYC has gone downhill since B left, and NJ will surely go down if Tre leaves.

I think Caroline aged 10 years the last two. Her face and jowls are weighing down her face. Her hair is too long and dumpy. Lauren looks better, but at 5’3 and 155 pounds she is still a good 30 pounds overweight. I thought the Lapband provided better results than a 30 pound weight loss over 9 months.
I read that Lisa Lampinelli had lost 50 pounds in 2 or 3 months.
I think it is because these people that have the surgery think that they can still continue to eat whatever they want. She needs to change her lifestyle; she should have lost more then 30 lbs by now. Caroline did look heavier.
Lisa had a different surgery she had something called the sleve while lauren had the lapband. having surgery to lose 30 pounds or even 50 is ridiculous. I she can afford the lapband she can afford a personal trainer. She would have lost it quicker with a personal trainer while learning to be heart healthy. Its shameful that caroline encouraged and even insisted she get the surgery.

Yeah. I mean kudos to her for losing 30, but I’m a little surprised ( suspicious ) about her very moderate success. The whole point of getting the lapband is it provides LOTS of RAPID weight loss for ppl who are in a DIRE situation, like 500lbs and/or 50 yrs old and on the verge of a heart attack. It’s for ppl who need to get tons of weight off FAST. Or at least I thought, I guess that’s changing now, huh? It seems like everyone is getting it these days. She also claims she works out hard 2 hrs a day, 5 days a week. I feel like she should be an absolute stick by now. I’ve read you can find a way to eat more on the lapabnd. Is that what’s happening?
I’m not 100% sure about this, but I think the lap band only forces you to eat less, because your stomach can’t hold more and you feel very full after very little food. But I guess you could still eat a donut lol. Maybe she still has bad food habits, but does eat less
This is true! The lapband restricts the amount of food you can eat. But you can still eat whatever you want. Also there are ways around it by drinking hot fluids (coffee, tea) it will relax the stomach muscles and let the smaller stomach expand further and hold more food. So you still have to work the system to be succesful with the lapband.
Lauren is just a last pig. I honestly don’t understand why she think she has the authority to bash Ashlee, when she cant even exhibit a little self control. She got a lap band and took a year to loose 30 lbs. I lost 60 lbs in 5 months after my kid was born from walking and pushing back from the table. Weight loss is really not that hard, maintaing the weight loss is harder to do. But I know many people that loose weight, in fact I had a co-worker that lost 160 lbs without any surgery, so yeah it’s doable with self control. I’m in agreement with, when you say it looks like she gaining again.

I’m starting to think that “cook book” is just a code word for “Punta Cana.” Caroline was angry about the cook book alright, but it was probably still just an extra nail in the coffin. IMO I don’t believe BIG C was being honest at all. She has not given any reason as to why all of the sudden she hates T so much. I might be able to respect Carolyn if the hypocrisy wasn’t exploding from her mouth everyday. Carolyn barks at everyone else on the show to apologize to friends and family, forgive and move on which she NEVER does. She will not talk or make up with 60 percent of her own family. She will not accept Teresa’s ten different apologies, which in fact were never even due to Carolyn because Teresa made a few jokes in a cookbook on one page and then said 5 beautiful statements about Carolyn and her family. Teresa even added a giant nearly full page photo of Carolyn with a beautiful complimentary photo caption in her own cookbook right in the front. You do not have a big complimentary picture of Carolyn in her book if you are trying to insult her…it was an honor!( if you disagree you must not have seen the actual cookbook.) Last, it is Teresa who is owed an apology from every member of Caroline’s family,but Al, for two years of behind the back insults, name calling, insults to the Guidice kids, bullying and mean behavior that Caroline has never acknowledged or apologized for these actions even ONE time about these despicable displays to Tre who considered these friends her family. Carolyn can be honest that she never wants to be friends with Teresa, but she needs to be honest about all the horrible stuff those Manzos said and did to the whole Guidice family. Then she can walk away.

I noticed that too! Caroline wouldnt let her speak. I also thought it was messed up when she said Lauren wasnt doing well so we had an intervention and made her get the lapband.. Um hello, Lauren is young and healthy. Money would have been better spent on a personal trainer which we know they can afford with the bravo paychecks. yes, I remember hearing about it a long time ago. Bethenny and Teresa are similar in that they are both hard working over achieving women who have overcome great obstacles to achive success. Right now Bethenny is more famous and has more money because she’s been at it longer. I think in time Teresa will become her equal. The difference for me is that while Teresa has a hot temper, Bethenny has a mean streak. Teresa needs to be provoked for ugly behavior, Bethenny many times intiates it. I’d choose Teresa over Bethenny for a friend any day.

B & T had a very public feud and didn’t Bethanny accuse Teresa of ” stealing ” her “skinny” concept? While it’s true that Bethanny is far ahead and in a different realm than Teresa in what she’s been able to reap from this show, Teresa is nipping at her heels. Sometimes ppl get weird and jealous if they see someone on the verge of occupying land they think they own. I think Bethanny sees herself as THEE quintessential successful housewife. Chuck is jealous of Teresa; Mel is jealous of Teresa; Kathy is jealous of Teresa and SO IS BETHANNY – or at least threatened by her momentum. These coordinated and seemingly endless attacks against Teresa are getting VERY predictable and pretty tedious. I love how Chuck goes on shows to talk about how she wants nothing to do with TERESA, what went wrong with TERESA, why TERESA is the scum of the earth. TERESA TERESA TERESA. That’s ALL they have to talk about!

I hope Caroline’s opening line on Season 5 is “Fambly, Shmambly.” And imo I don’t think Teresa’s coming back. I have a feeling they’re going to get rid of her for the same reason they got rid of Danielle — for trying to withhold income (tabloid money, for one.) The same thing she did in bankruptcy court and almost went to jail for. That, plus the fact that when she’s not flipping tables and chasing women through country clubs, she’s basically a pretty uninteresting woman.

Also imo Caroline is very much coming back and is in a much better position to negotiate what she wants in her contract than Teresa is. My sister had lap band surgery 3 years ago and lost a little over 100 pounds and has kept it off. She feels Lauren and Caroline made a joke out of lap band surgery and it really angers her.

He is a great example of what the lapband can do for someone. It is NOT a tool to be used on a young 20 something girl who needs to drop 40 pounds. that is ridiculous!
