Teresa Giudice Talks Apologizing Plus Supports Melissa’s New Song!
RHONJ star Teresa Giudice blogged about Sunday’s episode and talks about everything from her apologizing to regretting the “gold digging” comments. She also loves Melissa’s newest song!
“So let’s talk about this episode. Again, and I’m going to keep saying this every week, this season was filmed last year. The stress of filming two seasons almost continuously with family and friends along with everything else… it really took a toll on me. Just like Jacqueline is thrilled to be in a new place with Ashlee a year later, I’m so happy to have moved on personally as well. I do miss my friends, and I do wish things were different with my family, but all I can do is give them time.
I’m beginning to think this season might be the Teresa Apology Tour. Hopefully it’s coming to an end! I did first apologize to everyone privately, I apologized to them on camera, and I apologized to them publicly. I don’t know what more I can do. In last week’s blog I went over the cookbook “insults” and the wonderful compliments I gave them all page by page, so you can judge for yourself.
It’s hard watching the show a year later and seeing for the first time what friends and family said about you when you weren’t in the room. When I went to Jacqueline’s, I definitely felt the awkwardness like everyone was just talking about me, but I wanted to make sure I got my apology out any way. I’ll be honest, I don’t love hearing new “jokes” every week about me and my kids, but I can roll with it. My kids are healthy and beautiful, my marriage is strong, I really can’t ask for more.
I’m sorry that Melissa doesn’t “give a sh–” about my cookbook. I really don’t think Joey read my first one, and it makes me sad, because I did talk about growing up with him. We had an amazing childhood. Skinny Italian came out a year before my brother and Melissa were approached/begged/talked to Danielle/made an audition tape/however it really went down to be on the show, and neither one of them came to a single book signing. To quote the song Alexa Ray Joel sang on last year’s season: “All I can do is love…”
As for the whole “gold digger” thing with Melissa, I’m very protective of my only brother. He was engaged two times before Melissa, and I hated seeing his heart broken every time things didn’t work out. After that, he did date a lot of women who were interested in him for all the wrong reasons. So when he and Melissa were dating, she was at dinner with my family and she made a comment about how when she saw my brother’s house and how well he was doing, she wasn’t stupid, that she wasn’t going to let him go. From our family’s history with actual gold diggers, you can imagine it wasn’t a great thing to hear. She probably said it from nerves and trying to be funny, but it rubbed me the wrong way. We live in a small town. I heard things about the type of guys Melissa dated before my brother, and I hear things I don’t like now. I pray they aren’t true. I hope my brother and Melissa stay married forever! I never should have brought it up on the show last season though, and I’m sorry. And I’ve learned not to bring up my concerns to my brother publicly or privately! It was a hard lesson, but I’ve learned it. I do really like the song Melissa sang for my brother. There was a tiny ray of hope this week: after connecting briefly on Twitter, I talked to Jacqueline on the phone for the first time in months to try and take baby steps back towards our friendship. It wasn’t a perfect conversation for either of us, but out of respect for her, I’m going to keep the details of it private. I thought she looked great on Watch What Happens Live and I’m sorry I was stuck in Texas and couldn’t make it. Keep my seat warm, Andy, and I’ll bring you some Fabellini to make up for it!”
Teresa is taking the high road..again! I don’t think if I was ever in Teresa’s shoes that I could act like her. Instead, I’d probably be bitter with the whole cast and would never care to be friends with them again. Last night Teresa even tweeted the Itunes link to Melissa’s song. Teresa has almost 500,000 followers and that’s more support then anyone can ask for! Joe and Melissa barely even congratulated Teresa on her book and as we saw yesterday, Joe hasn’t even read Teresa’s books!

I couldn’t be that classy either with everyone tearing me down. Reminded me of how classy Dayana Mendoza was on CA last night with the bitch Lisa Lampanelli acting like the most unprofessional baby/mean girl every seen. You can’t lose when you have class, Teresa!
Lisa is over the top do you know now her and Caroline are best friends; of Course Caroline made sure they became friends like she did with Jay and now Jay isn’t blogging; pitty really NOT!!!
This is EXACTLY why I love Teresa so much. She is a good lady.
Same, but im tired of watching the beat her up. Tired of her taking the high road while they treat her like garbage. Melissa and Joeys true intent is really coming out this season and im sad for it. No one deserves to be treated the way they are treating her. That its not just family, but family she deeply cares for.. is disturbing to me. BRAVO is sick for doing this.
teresa does a great job writing her blogs..I do love her and hope it is truly her writing…Im team T all the way…that said, I don’t like how impulsive and defensive she is on reunion shows…yes, I get that she is real and passionate ( I can relate, I am the Latina Teresa!) but I am not on national tv, she needs to learn from Brandi (RHOBH)..just let the other jealous hags do the talking, don’t react..that’s what they want!!!!!
I believe she has help writing the blog, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. If she is smart enough to hire a professional writer to express what she is thinking in a clear way – good on her!
Tre is to good for any of them, they treat her like a piece of dirt. I will forgive her any and all actions or poor behavior this season.
I hope that she tears a strip up one side of them and down the other on the reunion show. She is being way to forgiving if you ask me, and that is why they continue to behave the way they do.
Hey Andy, let me come on the reunion show, I would shut everyone of them up once and for all, including you. I really wish that Tre would learn how to stick up for herself without being defensive and at the same time get her point across.

Teresa was dead wrong with the comments about Melissa. They have been married for years and have 3 children together. Bottom line is she doesnt like Melissa and doesnt like the attention her brother gives Melissa!!
Truthfully, I think that T is jealous of Melissa being married to Joe when for all his life T was the most important woman in his life, I think Mel is jealous of T for having the influence she had over her brother and her family, and I think that JOE fuels both fires because it keeps Tarzan hard to have the two fighting over him. IA. I can believe that Teresa is jealous that she’s not the most important girl in her brother’s life anymore. I also think Melissa is jealous that she’s not the queen bee of the Gorga family. It’s fairly obvious that Melissa’s family spoils her and treats her like she walks on water. As self-centered and conceited as she is, I’m willing to bet that she expected her in-laws to do the same. Teresa is the golden child of the Gorga family and I think that bothers Melissa. They both have jealous issues and it’s complete bullshit that Melissa tries to act like Teresa is the cause of every problem.

I think you’re 100% wrong. Teresa has no reason to be jealous of a lying gold digger that had to use her to be on her show. Melissa is a user and a liar! I wouldn’t trust her with anything and I think Teresa was being a good sister to her brother. The problem is Joe Gorga is a horrible brother and doesn’t give a shit about Teresa. Teresa needs to know she can’t trust him and move on. Joe and Melissa have totally broken all trust and they only care about making Teresa look as bad as possible so they can continue being on a show. It is sad and disgusting.

Melissa copys everything Teresa does. Melissa lies constantly. Melissa spreads hate and venom everytime she opens her mouth. I’m pretty sure Teresa isn’t jealous of someone like Melissa. Teresa has a big heart and cares about her brother, that is all. It is just too bad her brother only cares about himself. In my eyes Melissa and Joe Gorga are the lowest of the low and if this was my brother I would be done with them for good. They have done so much to hurt Teresa it is unforgivable.

I still won’t watch RHONJ – just reading about it here – because it upsets me so much to see how everyone is behaving. I watch TV for fun, not anxiety!!! RHONJ has become anxiety for me and that is sad because it used to be my absolute favorite guilty pleasure. Andy and Bravo are hypocritical and have no morals or sense of fairness; I just can’t support them. I have nothing to say about the Jackhole 4; not interested in watching them ever.
I have been tuning into CA every week and LOVE it. Teresa has been doing well and showing a huge viewing audience that she is sweet, gracious, funny, and firey (without being gross about it). I can’t wait for her newest book to come out and for her Fabulini to come to Texas!!! Tre, you are one real and classy lady. I love that you have been able to show other housewives how to come through their Real Housewives show experience and develop CLASS not just business ventures or botox. I am, and will continue to be, rooting for you and your family.
I can totally relate to the anxiety. Its no longer fun to watch. My boyfriend almost had a heart attack last night when i told him i didnt want to watch it. Thought maybe i was running a fever or something.lol…I really wish Bravo would change up the cast, and make it enjoyable again.

Teresa’s right; there’s nothing more she can do so now she needs to stop talking about it. At this point it only gives them relevance and ammunition, two things they are sorely lacking. Teresa’s fans would much rather hear about her family and her business ventures than about the people who backstabbed her.
When you truly apologize, you don’t try and make excuses or justify what YOU thought you were putting out there. An apology never starts with “if you were offended”……it starts “I am so sorry that I offended you (not IF)”. BUT, at this point, if she apologize in person and publicly…..just stop now. Don’t say another word about it and go on — you just keep making things worse with these apologies that really do sound insincere and self-serving (I really am right, but you just don’t see, so I will help you see it…..that never works for obvious reasons). I hate these shows that were filmed nearly a year ago or more and we are commenting on things that are way done — so I am done. Not a T. fan but really can’t stand the others: for those of you that think Caroline is the ring-leader, I think Melissa has just let it look like that for her benefit. She is manipulative and smart and has accomplished exactly what she planned, except I truly doubt this gal is going to become the singing sensation she wants to be – no star qualities here.

Was Teresa supposed to be a guest on WWHL last night? Was Jacqueline a fill in for Teresa? Seems so considering T says she was sorry she was stuck in Texas and couldn’t make it, etc. I’m thinking so. Why didn’t Andy explain this to Kelly O. when he read T’s tweet on the air? Kelly seemed so confused and stated she has never met T. Andy is always trying to throw T under the bus. He’s a pot-stirrer. I’m getting sick of him. He seriously had nothing better to ask Jac about other than her daughter’s duck lips(which he already discussed on air a year ago) and more T bashing. The episode last night seemed so phony to me. Did they really expect us to think the last flight to Vegas was at 730? Those flights run continuously and how did Ducky get home from the airport? So many things just don’t add up. The show is ruined for so many reason. It’s disappointing.
I think Andy was just asking Kelly if she’s ever met Teresa before just to ask. Teresa never said anything about meeting Kelly. She just said that she’s sad she missed her and that she’s a fan, that’s it.
Also, it’s not at all surprising that Kelly would say T’s apologies weren’t sincere considering she’s friends with Caroline and tweeting her before hand. Kelly O. needs to STFU. Tre is a class act through and through. That’s why she has made it to the top 5 on CelebApprentice as well as doing so well in all of her business ventures. Good for her she walks a blessed path and you can see that in how well she has been doing despite the vultures preying off her emotions and success.
I am sorry, but Teresa is not a class act….altho I give her credit for advancing as far as she has on CA AND she has created successes without being the sharpest knife in the drawer in some areas. She has incredible personal potential, but she really needs some guidance and counseling. Someone got it right when they said T. and Mel are both narcissistic and they just need to learn to deal with it and only have basic conversation with no opinions when they are together otherwise the elder Guidices are going to leave this world with a lot of pain in their hearts over their children.

A class act is someone who knows how to act appropriately, knows it is never classy to scream and yell your opinion/making your point no matter how unfair you are being treated or even disrespected, and classy would never continue to keep a fight alive knowing it is humiliating and literally killing your parents. A clumsy and qualified apology is not classy. Sorry, but I think she can become classy and stop this dead in the water by saying not another word about anything that happened in the past from this day on and kill them with kindness. What in the world would the vultures have to talk about after that?? I have seen this work so many times – can’t believe people still think it doesn’t work expecially when fighting and screaming like a bunch of banshees NEVER solves anything.
She IS killing them with kindness. She’s the only one who’s taken ANY responsibilities for the fights. She’s the only who has apologized. She’s the only who doesn’t say shit about the other ladies in her blogs, interviews, gossip mags, etc…

Did you see the way the camera panned to him when the called asked Jacqueline about Teresa being ganged up at the reunion. He looked nervous as to what Jacqueline would say… Or maybe he looked a little guilty… Not sure.
I’m sure it was neither. Everything he does is planned and deliberate.
First of all, I am a Theresa fan, a Joe fan, and love her 4 beautiful girls. That being said, I do not like the way Theresa is handling the issue of Melissa and the rumors that she keeps mentioning.

Theresa – stop, don’t dig the ditch deeper. We don’t know what you’ve heard. I come here every day, and no one has posted any rumors, pictures, local gossip stating that Melissa is out on the town. Please, you do such a great job with your books and CA and your family, just don’t comment on this 1 specific thing. I beg you. I beg your PR people – please don’t comment on this. It looks bad, it just does. If it is true, it will come to light, but you do not need to be the one to tell us.

Lisa L from CA is totally classless – Teresa has made great progress, and I commend her that the only apologies (sincere or not) for any regrettable behavior have come from her. Teresa is not mean like Lisa – she just is totally unfiltered.
What the hell are you yapping about now. Good cop, bad cop, you were very vocal about all of your dislike of anything Tre said or did and now you are sticking up for her.

JanShe, you don’t have to be crazy about someone to be fair and see both sides. Teresa has a lot of issues and has said some incredibly thoughtless and hurtful things and behaved badly at times, but I have sided with her when I thought she deserved it. Right now, she is on the receiving end of some real nastiness, and I think she sees what it is like: devestating!! Some posters on this site simply do not seem to want to embrace Teresa’s part in all that has happened – right now, she appears to have made progress, which I have praised but that doesn’t wipe away the past or still always trying to have the last word in every discussion (and yes, they all seem to do that). Bad Cop: I thought her apology was self-serving; Good Cop: but at least she made one, and they should accept it. LIfe is not all black or white. Can’t stand Melissa and her manipulations and have made that clear, but every now and then I see something that appears sincere, and I give her credit that her children are very sweet and very well behaved. See how that works: it is called Being Fair. Sorry if you disagree, but telling people to get lost when they disagree with you – should I ask you if you are Caroline???
I hate bullies. Four (and their bat shit crazy kids and their nut friends and spouses, and Andy Cohen) against one stinks. Tre never did anything that “thoughtless and hurtful” to merit that pile on. They are not fair.
I think most everyone on this particular site knows the others are not being fair to T., but a great deal has built up to this point and their ability to be fair has been overshadowed by their extreme anger which seems to come from… who really knows at this point altho there are lots of good ideas out there. I certainly don’t think she (or Danielle) deserves anything like this, but Andy is loving it which gives a lot of insight to that fella’s inner soul. All the anti-bullying dialogue (especially by gays like Andy) is appropriate, but look at what he does for a living: promotes a show that encourages bullying. He led the charge at the reunion. These women aren’t having simple disagreements with T., they are definitely bullying her — and hard to believe that wasn’t the main idea of Andy’s when they took Melissan and kathie on board. Just my opinion,

You have not posted anything on Kathy’s post here today (yesterday whatever), but you jumped right past that post to Caro’s post, and you are attacking her like there is no tomorrow.
Talk about being obvious. I’ve already said that Caro would be your next target. Have at her and leave Tre alone.

AND, have spoken many times regarding Andy and his obvious dislike for women or he wouldn’t put out this kind of show. Each to his own. Just a thought, but seems to me like some one trying to “disinvite” another poster off of someone else’s blog is like Caroline asking Kim D. to leave Melissa’s house: bad form. Let’s all play nice.

JanieG-we need to know where the anger towards T from the other women comes from! It’s not fair to have all this anger towards one person with no reason given or shown. IMO, these 4 deserve the blasting they are getting, and Andy too. If Teresa is really that bad LET US IN ON IT cuz all we see is a happy, loyal, hard working woman getting shit on by her family and former friends
cammierari, I totally agree, and if I didn’t make it clear in previous comments…..now you know. The “anger” I was referring to was one poster toward another for disagreeing, which I don’t understand. Now, this will please all T. fans – I have said I have not been a “fan” of hers, but have also said she was likeable and needed to filter herself – she has every right to be angry and hurt. I gravitated more toward her after that horrible reunion and the way she has handled herself on CA AND lately. I sometimes have to remind myself that what is on the show at present happened months ago. I really hate the way they do it – a lot changes in nearly a year, as we have surely witnessed.
