Teresa Giudice Responds To Jacqueline Laurita’s Claims About Her Marriage!
RHONJ star Teresa Giudice took to her blog to respond to claims that her former BFF Jacqueline Laurita made when she said Teresa and hubby Joe live separate lives. Teresa also talks about Sunday’s episode and what she meant when she said she wants to see Melissa sing live!
“Hello Baby Dolls!
I’m still in Florida with Gia. She had a great weekend dancing with her T.R.U.E. dance team at the Monsters of Hip Hop Dance convention, and now we’re taking a day off to go to Disney! Great mommy-daughter time!
It was so fun to watch the Beatstock performances this week. I’m so proud of Gia! She worked so hard and she did so well on stage! I had goosebumps the whole time. I just can’t believe I have such a beautiful and talented daughter — four daughters actually! I’m so blessed!
Did you see her dad tearing up watching her? People love to talk about bad things, but I want to point out all the good you saw in Joe this week — the good I see in my wonderful husband every day, that his kids see every day. He’s a great father and a great man, my best friend, and an amazing partner. Did you see him ironing his own shirt? He may be old school Italian, but he is a modern guy when it comes to helping out with his own family — he jumps right in. He’s my rock, and I love him.
And no, we don’t lead “separate lives.” I have no idea why Jacqueline would bring up that rumor — she seems to love to bring up crazy rumors on camera about everyone else. Not very nice, and definitely not true. Joe still does and always has lived in our house (he’s never had a separate “work apartment” or anything), and he sleeps in our bed with me every night! Hello, I talked about our sex life non-stop for three seasons, and everyone told me to cut it out! Now that my kids are older, I try to not talk about it so much (I’ll leave that to Melissa and Joey now!), but believe me, Juicy Joe and I are happily married!
Another great thing about Joe? He let me take over his closet! Our house has hardly any closet space and my stuff spilled out of my closet into the one that had his clothes, so he was nice enough to move his clothes to the closet downstairs in the guest bedroom. Truth be told, I kind of took over the bathroom too, so he does a lot of his bathroom stuff down there too. That’s why Milania called it “his room,” but it’s just because of small closets and lots of make-up, nothing more!
I was also truly happy for Melissa’s performance at Beatstock too. I know she worked so hard for it, and it’s her dream, and I love to see people’s dreams come true. It takes a lot of guts to be out there on that stage! The year before, Caroline, Jacqueline, and I had to go on the same stage at Beatstock to introduce Pit Bull and Enrique Iglesias. It was the best night! Gia got to meet some rock stars, we got to hang out backstage, and we had the first few rows reserved. When Gia saw the kids dancing on stage, she said she wanted to do the same thing, and a year later, she did! Melissa and my brother were there in the audience that night too, and Melissa got herself up on stage in a year too! Amazing!
I was also serious when I said I wanted to hear Melissa sing without all the background vocals and auto-tune. It wasn’t meant as an insult in any way, I’ve just known her for eight years now, and I know singing is her passion, but I’ve never heard her sing! Isn’t that weird? I’m dying! I’m sure she’s really good! She’s never sung around any of us, just her own voice like at the piano at Christmas time or at a wedding or talent show or something. I want to be able to brag about how good she is, but I’ve never heard her! Maybe we can get her to belt something out at the reunion! That’s one thing you’ll never see me doing — I’m not a singer! Dancing yes, I can rock that, but singing, no.
As far as Milania’s little comments, no I don’t condone them and she got in trouble right afterwards. You never know what’s going to come out of a kid’s mouth, especially that kid! My kids have the blessing and the curse of being interesting enough that they’re shown on the show all the time, which means you get to see all the hilarious things they say and do, and sometimes the naughty things too. But please don’t judge them. They’re just kids, they’re really good kids, and they are raised to respect and love everyone in the family. You can see that by how they always greet their Zia Melissa and Zio Joe.
It was great to see everyone spreading their wings and getting support from their family and friends, from Melissa at Beatstock to the Manzos at the Fancy Food Show. Next week, you get to see how my friends and family support me at my book signing… sigh… I really don’t know why people can’t just be happy for each other, just show up to support and not throw nasty comments and digs in, especially while the event is going on! You’ll see what happens next week, but I was shocked by how Kathy behaved at my book signing. Shocked and very sad, but not surprised unfortunately. It’s been pretty obvious from the day she joined the show and decided to be a baker instead of a hairdresser that she was going after a new career, but there’s no reason to try and take down your family while you’re doing it.
When you watch the episode next week, keep in mind that Kathy’s mother and my mom are not related by blood. They’re not sisters. They were not raised by the same parents or taught the same things… Kathy’s mom is my dad’s sister and as you know, they didn’t grow up together either.
I’ve always been very open about how my mother taught me to cook and how I’m delighted to share my family’s recipes. My cookbooks are called “family” cookbooks. I don’t know why Richie and Kathy try to twist that, it makes no sense to me. I spell it out in every book. But they are MY family’s recipes, not Kathy’s family’s. I told this story in my second cookbook ‘Fabulicious: Teresa’s Italian Family Cookbook’ (with really cute photos of my mom as a little girl!) about how my mom was raised by her grandmother, who I was named after, since her mom died when she was very little. My great-grandmother taught my mom to cook and she passed down the recipes to me. I have no idea what Kathy and her mom cook since that’s their own family stuff. I’m sure it’s delicious, just like my family’s recipes are!”
Teresa makes a good point. I don’t get why the housewives can’t just support one another without throwing jabs! Just be happy-and move on! I can understand why Teresa would be upset with Kathy but we’ll just have to wait and see next week! It’s sad that Teresa’s former BFF Jacqueline can accuse someone of leading separate lives when they’d flip if Teresa did that! Thoughts on what T had to say?!
p.s. Interesting to see Jacqueline wait for Teresa’s blog to go up until she posts her’s..I mean we all know Jac isn’t busy and is home tweeting so it is expected

Yep, I love how she keeps it classy but still finds a way to make true comments that burn: “work apt” LOL. I’m glad she’s realized that her so called friends & family are not happy about her success. They want her to fail, which has to be a sickening realization. It’s funny how the other 4 started out the season writing in their blogs about read between the lines, planting seeds: we are reading between the lines and we see all the seeds they’ve been busy trying to plan to no avail.
I love her also, but I wish she’d not feed into those good for nothing cast mates of hers. It isn’t anyone’s business of where Joe sleeps or if Milania was punished. No matter what she says or does or don’t say or don’t do, the four wicked witches are going to find fault.

That’s exactly how I feel Hailiesmama, what business is it of Jac to go and blab her mouth and then has the nerve to wonder why Teresa doesn’t open up to her. Teresa has shown a superb amount of restraint and I wouldn’t blame her if she goes table flipping, weave pulling, bitch slapping mad at the reunion.
Yes, loves Tre. I admire, how she did not crumble in the mist of her storm. She kept smiling and started making money for her family. I hope Chris L does the same. He seems a little stressed to make the blk work. But, he will nto make the 250 million that he made with Roc a Wear peddling muddy water. For example Danille never seemed to bounce back after her divorce. The only other thing she did to make money was get on the show, I never say her start another career no create any products, ect. Loves Tre for that. Now that little sneaky Kathy. The way she tried to take credit for Tre’s family’s recipes was down low dirty. I really thought there mothers were sisters. But, Katy’s mom is her dad’s sister. Tre’s cook books are clearly about her mother’s side of the family. Kathy even went as far as to say “my mom, Tre’s mom, we all grew up together and they cooked in the same kitchen. She is sneaky. It is time to expose her and her “collar popping” husband.
I agree to expose Kathy. I HATE passive Aggressive people. I cannot stand when I read people saying they feel she is the only nice one, or she is sweet, blah blah…. We all have a cousin like her. Not as pretty … Jealous… She is sneaky, i’ve got her number, and we should expose her, but lets not forget to continue on Mel and the loser crew.
This is worse than being passive aggressive. There is nothing passive about it. Kathy is a flat out aggressive, envious liar who wants to ruin Teresa’s book sales. The publisher should SUE Kathy for slander.

This blog has made the rounds. Few months ago we all decided the one defending the family was Ashley not lauren. At one point someone .. i think it was Caroline, posted that it was her niece posting and she was defending her niece. They trash the brownstone there as well. MELISSA trashed the brownstone. Interesting right?

I adore Teresa.Maybe it`s time the other ladies take a lesson from her.She is an earthy lady,says what is on her mind,and loves her family.She does have more class then the rest of them and that is what really bothers the Dragon Lady and her followers.I have watched from season one and Gia is going for the spotlight because that is where she wants to be.Sorry Mel,Teresa is supporting her daughter`s goals not forcing her into it.Of all the Jersey kids I think Teresa`s are my favorites.They really are normal kids,yep they are spoiled but that`s kinda is normal.

What really gets me are the weekly comments from these women telling us to watch the next episode when Teresa will be “exposed” for what she is.
Every week I stayed tune and all I see are these four women and their girly husbands expose themselves for what they really are. Jealous!

Like I posted earlier, if I want really GREAT pignoli cookies I can hop on a Train to Philly and get them from Termini’s. However, when I make them using Teresa’s recipe, they are even better! My Aunts who lived in South Philly made all kinds of Italian cookies for xmas every year. I have their recipes in a little box, I wonder if they stole them from Kathy’s mom?? Does she even realize how lame she is? If I want Chicken Bruschetta, I can drive 3 minutes from my home to the Trieste and get it. I also make Teresa’s and honestly my family likes that recipe better! I am sure if I were to ask, the Trieste makes theirs from their own recipe. I am 100% sure that they did not steal it from Teresa since they have been in business for 40 plus years! LOL! Only a total dumbass would fall for the idea that Teresa stole a recipe from her mom? How could she even do that? Unless, Teresa can read minds??? Kathy best get back to that hookah! LOLOLOLOL

Recipes are not only passed from generation to generation, but are location specific too. In Italy, you will find many different types of cooking. Ingredients that they use in the North they don’t use in Sicily, and vice versa. So, it’s only logical that the recipes passed down to us are very similar in nature.
Oh donnalee you didn’t realize that Kathy’s mom was the first little italian lady making cookies? italians didn’t even know what dough was until Kathy’s mom invented it! Hell I think thats where my grandma got all her recipes from.

Kathy is jealous because she wants to branch out in the same brand as Teresa but she does not have Teresa’s personality or people appeal.
Ditto, I also think kathy is jealous because her family is not as traditional and authentic as T’s family is. Her mother was raised apart from the rest and therefore does not have the same upbringing. I’m sure there is resentment because they can’t claim to be the authentic Italian family with all of the Italian traditions that teresa and her parents carry. Teresa’s mother has recipes and traditions that were passed to her from her mother and she has passed them on to her daughter. Teresa and her parents speak Italian and carry on the food as well. I can see where some jealousy would creep up on Kathy’s end. Obviously there was some envy on her part because she to went on the show behind t’s back and has bashed her from the begining. So why would it suprise anyone here that Kathy is not all envious of Teresa’s authentic Italian heritage? Teresa’s parents seem to carry a lot of old ways especially with the making of the sauce and they way they have carried themselves on and off camera. Not only that but I think people see Teresa as a very authentic Italian girl from the neighborhood who is breaking out with style and class. She has a look and charisma about her that is so likeable. You add in those girls and juicy joe and it just makes this family that much more interesting and people want to see more of them. Not Kathy, Caroline, Jacko, or Melissa have anything really interesting that people want to see every week. Bravo knows it and so do they. Their only way of lashing out over their jealousy is to try to make teresa and her family look bad every chance they get. I find it amusing that the harder they try the more successful she becomes. The more people want to relate to her and see her succeed. Funny how that works. Anyways thats my two cents. Also Jacko has lost all credibility and now it’s just pathetic to see her humiliate herself with every blog and tweet!

I agree with 90% of your thoughts … to be fair, I do believe Kathy does carry an authentic italian tradition, not to mention an amazing story as told by her mom a few episodes ago…yes, kathy unfortunately is the same brand as Tre in terms of business goals, what is killing kathy is the lack of understanding of the market being big enough for both of them…her competitive ways is taking the best of her, it makes her look envious ( true or not, she looks that way) passive aggressive and unappealing…not only does Kathy have her baking skills but also an infusion of her recipes and Richie’ s own cultural background…if her approach on the show was different, she had a shot..too bad for her and her ventures…
This is why I love T! Week after week she keeps it positive and yes sometimes she says things she shouldn’t but no one is perfect. I do think the other wives are all jealous of her she is the breakout star of the show but instead of being bitter they should rise above it and be happy. I am really looking forward to this season being over and Teresa and her family getting a show of their own!!!

ITA – it sounds to me like she is over them. The way she can compliment Melissa on her performance shows a level of maturity the other women don’t seem to have. She’s not seething with bitterness, just making her points but keeping it classy.

As far as the kids… you all know my background by now, in the field of Early Childhood Education, Child Development, and Special Education…. and I can say without the slightest hesitation, that the way her children behave is very normal and isn’t tied at all to what they hear or see. Children at the age of 4-6 have no filter… they say whatever they think, and the understand irony and scarcasm… but they don’t think first or plan what they say…it just pops out! Milania is a “feisty” temperament. Which means she will always have a tendency to be the bravest, most honest, most active and speak her mind the most, of all of Teresa’s kids. Feisty kids learn all of the rules of behavior eventually but they do get scolded a lot in the process. They are usually the most successful and most determined. By age 7-8 they have learned to think before they speak, and this is the age that lying first appears prevalently. Planning what they say to achieve an outcome. Empathy and respect are things that don’t happen till much later in a child’s development. You can teach them what to say, and when to be quiet, but they do it either, to win your praise, or avoid consequences…not because it’s the right thing to do. That comes much much later.
That said. I think Jacqueline’s comments are outrageous, and only reflect on her own lack of a moral compass, not on Teresa. Teresa still continues to live her life, while Jacqueline is consumed with jealousy and spite. You’re spot on. As parents we stress being truthful to our kids, and they usually are. I sometimes feel bad when we, as parents, punish our kids for doing what we say- I’ve caught myself doing it, gotta make a mental note. I liked Milania from day one and I think she gets a bad wrap and I hate that. When I see Teresa kids I do smile because I see innocence and honesty with them. I work with juvenile offenders and by the time they make it to me, God help them. I initially missed Sunday’s episode because I was called in to deal with one. But you’re right with everything you said.
I agree. Anyone with kids especially outspoken ones know that cringeworthy stuff can come out of their mouths at anytime. I also know as a mom how much I would hate it if the few times my child was acting up we’re played over and over on tv, but the majority of time when they are nice was not. I am convinced of 2 things, first, that Bravo loves to alter reality by turning the cast into caricatures Jacqueline the drunk, Caro the bull dog, Lauren the fat girl, Ashley the lazy party girl, Joe Guidice the criminal…..secondly they do this while also diminishing the same behavior in other cast members . I think it’s lame when they do it with the adults, inexusible when they do it with the kids. Turns out Al Manzo, Chris Manzo, Albie Manzo, Chris Laurita, an Joe Gorga have been or still are in trouble with the law, yet Bravo chooses to focus on their legitimate business while honing in on Joe Guidice only. I am sure the Gorga kids and the Laurita kids have had their naughty moments, but we see none of that only Milania. Lots of people drink to excess, like at the christening, the pool parties, Chris Manzo threw up for Pete sake, but Jacqueline is getting the drunk cut. Note to Bravo your contrived edits, and scripting is getting so old.

It’s time Teresa got her own show. I love her and her family. Her girls are adorable and very entertaining. Kathy and Melissa are so filled with jealousy and greed that they would sacrifice family unity to get ahead while stepping on Teresa on the way up. Trouble is I doubt very much they will find success as that relies on fans of the show liking them enough to want to support their work, and I don’t see them being as popular as Teresa. The more I see of them, the less I can even tolerate viewing them on the show. They disgust me.
What I don’t get is all this attention from the other HW bashing Teresa. They clearly want to pimp their own wares, whatevs thats what HW is about now. I like what she has to say. She is very concise and to the point when defending herself constantly. I really admire how, under fire from everyone, she still does not get nasty or vicious with her responses. I had hopes for some of the others , a year later, that they would at least show some personal growth on twitter and/or their Bravo blogs. I do not think we ever will see that! Kathy I’m surprised at. Being married into an “all four sides” Italian family I can tell u there’s tremendous claims on whose sauce (we call it gravy, but I’m told not all Italian families call to,are sauce gravy) is the best. My mother in laws is the best. THE BEST. Did I say that loud enough for her to hear in heaven? I’m not Italian, but even I knew that before the precana with the priest I asked my future MIL if she would show me “how to feed her son” were my words. She got a huge smile on her face and said, “oh face Bella, you use the phone and you dial for the take in”. My fiancé hid his laughter as his sister and their husbands joined in. I didn’t quite understand. So my SIL helped. She said, “you’re Irish. It’s best u not try to cook”. Hahahahaha. I laughed and said, “really? But mama Nona i want to make your son happy. I’m sure I could learn to cook one or two things”. She hadn’t a clue that my father had taught me to cook or that I had a gravy passed down from my stepmothers great grandmother that I made quite often. She saw I laughed with their joke and still asked for her help regardless. She said, “come, I show you”. That began two of my favorite family traditions 1) making fun of my being non-Italian, and 2) spending hour after hour with her in her kitchen learning to cook and talking over coffee & pastries. I grew to love and respect my MIL tremendously. She never wrote things down and told me to do the same. She said, “that way u cook from the heart – with love for the people you’re feeding”. I’d quickly write notes in the bathroom and ONI the way home. But u know, she was right – I cook those same dishes today without a note. Everyone knows who made it – and whose recipe it was.
One day, her husbands sister came over and offered to teach me a few things. Sitting between the two women, I declined. When I left the room I hear my MIL say to her SIL “why would u do that? Would I ever ask ur DIL if she wanted to learn my dishes”. That day I learned what Teresa has known all along. There is a purity in the passing down of food knowledge, a lineage. To pollute that

So beautiful, U! I come from a long line of “Gravy Italians” and we can tell who-made-what just by looking at a dish! The matriarch teaches everyone how it’s done, and that’s that. It’s then passed down through the generations. Teresa has it right. I don’t think that Italian/American culture is understood enough by the mainstream to “get” a lot of the dynamics of the NJ franchise, and that’s where the jealous, greedy hags and their families in the cast hoped to twist and exploit Teresa’s family to their advantage. It ain’t working with those who “know”. And…I have to add that in my family, there’s a LOT of looking down noses when it comes to food. Your kitchen’s dirty? We don’t touch it. You can’t cook? The fact that now that she’s a‘famous’ and ‘best selling author’ the only one on one time is when you drag them with you to an event to promote or you make sure that there’s a photo op available. You ragged on MG for getting her makeup done for her daughters Bday, but who had their makeup done for their daughters competition? I’m not a favorite of any of the housewives on any of the shows, but let’s be real here. In CA she was in way over her head, she wasn’t brought in for brains, reality shows are crossing over all all the time, she was brought in for ratings, she gets the ratings because of a reality show showing a family feud. She stayed in the background because she’d never be able to take the lead. You encourage and petition for her to have her own show? What? to see her drive her kids around every week,while she goes to book signings, watch Juicy Joe try to make an honest/legal living doing anything but doesn’t actually work, . I watch just like you do. We have different views, because of that I’m not allowed to watch the show that shows your ‘hero’ getting a dose of her own medicine. Kathy makes some good looking desserts. I saw her table spread on one of the shows and if she cooked it she makes some darn good Middle Eastern dishes. Combine these Kathy and produce a beautiful cookbook with these two ethnicities. Give us lots of pictures and some history of the dishes some family photos of large spreads you’ve put on and you have a nice cookbook. Middle Eastern food is one of my favorites and very healthy. My mother-in-law taught me to cook these dishes 40 years ago when she stayed with us for 6 monthes. I also learned Northern Italian cooking from my best friend. I’m Irish what can you say about that cuisine not much. Kathy you have the ability and so far the platform get with the program and stop being bitchy and you too will produce a great book.

The whole recipe argument is lame. No one owns recipes. Period. That is why everyone from Julia child to Martha Sterwart has a butter cookie recipe and a royal icing recipe, and a fried chicken recipe. Teresa made 3 great books and in addition to recipes they have nutritional information per recipe and they are easy to make with a few ingredients. The haters can say what they want but I got more than the purchase price in value from each of the books. If the rest of the cast put one quarter the energy they put into hating Teresa into a new venture perhaps they could be successful too. Love that Teresa is in Florida with Gia. Love that they are in Disneyworld for the day.
I am black and I love these recipes. I never cooked Italian before I purchased T’s cookbooks. We stopped going to the Olive Garden for our Italian fix. I never made the spaghetti my Mother served us growing up but now I can make some of T’s without the recipe books.
I like Emeril,s and Rao’s sauces. I even discovered the San marzano(sp) crushed tomatoes.

TRY IT Michers. It’s really amazing. A little pricey compared to other national brands, but in my neck of the woods, it goes on sale a lot. It really tastes like homemade sauce of any great Italian restaurant.

Katherine- good points! Gia was very close to her Uncle, and when she came along things changed. Now she is older and very well can form her own opinions. Its not for people to dissect as some nasty ones have! At the end of the day, she is a young girl and probably has way more knowledge of the hurt this family has gone through, especially since they destroyed what was left by coming on the show! Any parent knows that they can teach their children anything and everything until they are blue in the face, but sometimes, kids will say or do what they will- that does not mean that the parent condones it!! Sometimes its funny, sometimes embarrassing- they are kids! What the hell is the excuse for Rich Wakile, Joe Gorga, Tarazan, Greggy, the Manzo kids, Jac, Kathy and Melissa? There is no excuse! But they are the first ones to lead themelves on the hate parade against the Giudices.

My daughter’s MIL is not very nice to her at times. My daughter has tried and tried. But one day they had an arguement and my daughter came in the house crying.
She didn’t say anything to my grandchildren, but they knew that Mimi made mommy cry. Later, we found out that her six year old went in her room and cut up her pictures of Mimi.
Kids Know…you don’t have to tell them.

Every single scene that features Gia is scripted (if you can call it that) in advance by her mother. She is saying these things about her aunt and uncle because she is being instructed to do so by her mother. In SPITE of this, I think that Gia and her sisters love their aunt and uncle very much.
Teresa should face the fact that her daughters became smarter than both her and Psycho Joe (combined) a long time ago. They know the difference between the truth and a lie, and that she’s forcing them to lie is going to eventually come back and bite her in the ass big time.

I have never seen a scene showing Teresa “instructing” her children to say anything negative about their aunt and uncle. Do you have any footage to show? Perhaps an article to reference? Or maybe you live in Teresa’s home and have direct, personal knowledge of these moments of “instruction” and “scripting” that Teresa puts her children through?
No??? None of these things are available for you to present here as evidence to back up your claims as “fact”? Well, then, in the future I would suggest you frame your opinions as just that, personal opinions with no solid, factual basis.

I highly doubt Teresa is telling her kids to say things about their Aunt & Uncle. Anyone with a clear thought process can tell they are responding to the incidents where they have witnessed their mother being attacked by those “loving” aunts & uncles ON CAMERA for all of us to witness too!
Nobody is witnessing Teresa being attacked on camera because no one is attacking her on camera OR off.
What her children and family are finding out from watching the show is that she’s an even bigger liar than they thought she was.

Also, did anyone else find it a little strange that Kathy joined this show as a hair stylist but claims to be a pastry chef only after she got on the show? It sounds to me that Kathy is actually trying to walk in Teresa’s shadow. Teresa writes cookbooks, and suddenly Kathy is a Cook.

I loved Teresas Blog. She explained remarks and defended herself. Why is it ok when the others do it, at least she didn’t blame evrything that is wrong in the world on the others and say awful things about them, like they all have done to her in their Blogs.

Kathy is lying about QVC ,you never discuss ur negotiations in public until the deal is finalized, her husband has some jacked up yellow teeth, he is disgusting , bringing up tampons, in an eating establishment,that is nasty, Kathy seems unsanitary to me, the way they show her baking and touching her hands on the bake goods, i would’nt buy her desserts,she and her husband makes my flesh crawl.
