Teresa Giudice Parents Think RHONJ Is Disgusting!
And who can blame them? RHONJ has literally ruined their family and has aired all of their dirty laundry and I can only imagine how disappointing it can be for both Teresa and Joe’s parents.
Teresa explains to RumorFix how hurtful it was for Kathy to call her dad a coward saying, “I mean she adores him. They all went crazy for my dad. He’s an amazing guy. It’s just sad that she said that. My parents want nothing to do with this whole thing. They don’t even want to be on the show anymore. To them it’s disgusting. It’s not something that they want to be part of and it’s not something that I wanted to be part of.”
Teresa continues to say that Kathy got upset with Teresa because Teresa called her out on her marriage and says she must have hit a soft spot adding that maybe she didn’t want anyone to know that they previously had problems.
However, Teresa does miss the good times saying, “We had a boat — a two bedroom boat – on the water. Kathy used to be on our boat every weekend. We were really close — same thing with Melissa and my brother. We used to do Sunday dinners every Sunday together. Things started changing when I got on the show. I guess they felt like I had to put them on. I invited them to every single party I had on the show. Maybe they were feeling like I wasn’t putting them enough on the show, but it wasn’t about them. The producers didn’t want them on the show. I was trying to get them on the show but obviously they got themselves on the show behind my back eventually. That’s when things became a little weird. They felt like I had to invite them to everything and this was my job and it’s not like I could just invite people. And they didn’t want anyone but the five housewives who were on.”
I do feel so bad for Teresa’s parents and totally understand why they’d be disgusted with the show. Maybe the Gorgas, Giudices, and Wakiles should all leave the show if they really care about there family….yea..like that’s going to happen!

JanShe, I had read a while back (I don’t recall where I read it…probably Famewhorgas) that the studio in the Gorga house was built by Bravo and is not a permanent fixture in the house. It was made to be packed up and moved. Think about it…that is allegedly Melissa’s dream house. It has her music studio in it that her doting husband allegedly built for her. And now they are trying to sell? Makes no sense. Why would they sell their dream house when it contains the thing that Melissa uses to pursue her music career? The answer is not “Teresa”. That is not enough motivation to pack up and move your whole life and leave behind something that Joe supposedly put so much effort/time/money into. The studio isn’t theirs, that’s why. And they can’t afford their house anymore either. That’s the #1 reason people sell their homes in this economy.
This whole blaming Teresa for having to move is bull shit. They are trying to make it sound like she stalks them (when they’ve ALL admitted that they have had no contact for a year other than Gia’s birthday party). Even if they move further away from her, they are still on a show with her so they have to interact. And outside of the show, if things were so bad with Teresa to the point of them selling their multi-million dollar dream house, they would have had other things to back it up…like a restraining order. You don’t move your three children because someone annoys you.

Teresa has also been a thorn in the side when it comes to Caroline’s grand vision of the show- opportunities and success for her family (including Jac, her SIL) while the others were more like accessories to complete the ensemble. Originally, we had Caroline + SIL (Jac) + sister (Dina). Caroline was the centerpiece of those relationships, and that trio and their storyline (involving Danielle) dominated S1&2. Things started to shift: Dina retreated, Danielle left and suddenly, Teresa’s relatives emerged from the shadows. Teresa became the linchpin of the show. The storyline involving her relatives- her cousin (who she said was like a sister) and her SIL dominated S3&S4. Now, Caroline and Jac are relegated to being accessories. Whether Teresa liked it or not, Bravo decided to spend two years heavily revolving the show around her.
And it has turned Teresa in to a Star.

As far as Teresa’s family goes-they were mad that Tre and Joe couldn’t include them in the “fun HW games” every single time. They thought Tre should have been “sharing the pie” with them, by making sure to mention them, or find a reason to film with them. She didn’t exclude them from anything-but she didn’t always control the guest list. If Bravo tells her to have a party at her house with “just the other HWs”, there’s nothing she can do about it. Teresa said that Bravo saw them all at her parties for 2 seasons, had every opportunity to film them, but NEVER put them in the show footage. That’s not her call, but her family blamed HER. STUPID. That’s what their “fight” is about. The only way the Gorgas and Wakiles could get a spot on the show was to promise to “expose” Teresa.
And please. Lauren Manzo had been practicing that line for weeks. I’m sure she had to scour Tre’s blogs to find a word that she could guarantee Tre wouldn’t be able to spell. i don’t remember teresa’s parents saying anything about kathy. in fact, i don’t even know what they look like because that is how much they were on the show. they really do try to distance themselves from it. as parents it is heartbreaking to see family fight with each other. kathy is a disrespectful bitch and she knows damn well you’re supposed to respect your elders. there was no need to i insult her family like that.
Well, what if it was true? The elder Gorgas must speak with Kathy’s mom who may have been concerned about it. Then, as in any Italian family (my own included), Mrs. Gorga would have told her daughter. I read an article that the only person safe in NJ is actually Tre. Nobody else is looking too promising. I want to say that the sitting arrangements at one point may say a lot. LOL!
I keep hoping it will be something like NewYork when Jill and LuAnn and Kelly went on the attack on the other three, and 2 of them were fired. The viewers don’t like attacks and set-ups and lying, and from what I have seen, the ones doing the most of those activities are: Caroline, Jaq, Melissa, and kathy.
I find it interesting that Teresa says “they were really close”and spent all this time together, yet I don’t remember ever seeing either JoeGorga or the Wakiles at any event the Guidices had. On other Hw series you often see family members, so I have a hard time believing the producers asked Tre not to invite them.
I don’t fault Tre for not wanting to include them, but I think she should own it instead of acting like excluding them was someone else’s idea.
They were their, in the background. They were even at Teresa’s housewarming party, front row , when people were talking on microphone. I don’t however, remember Wakiles being there.

Michers…and we are back to the “Boat” thing we discussed a few weeks ago. I think that the Giudices sold their boat because of being on the show and money issues they were having and the Wako’s and Gorga’s got all up set because they lost their weekend party.
Shar, sounds logical for their perspective! I think Teresa is still taking it in,on top of them being on the show and finding out just how ruthless everyone was behind her back. One minute you have family and friends, the next they are all your enemy.
I watched Season 2 today and I saw:
1. at house warming party front row
2. At Gia’s birthday party where they rented the pink limo I saw Melissa.
3. At Adriana christening I saw a shot of Melissa and sitting at a table together, alone looking pissed off
The Wakiles were there also. You can even see their kids in the background when they were much smaller.
Both Mel and Katfish were at Audriana’s Christening. They LIED when they said they weren’t invited to anything.
Also remember Katfish acted like being on the show was so horrible and it wasn’t for her…so with that being said I think that they were more than likely invited to these functions but bc the cameras were rolling they decided not to go.
They were at the housewarming and Audriana’s christening. I think she means that they wanted to be invited to everything, even things that were meant only for the ‘wives

They were also shown at audrianas christening. The reason most viewers never notice them is becuase bravo was not really interested in filming them. Im sure they were at other events just weren’t filmed.

I dont ever remember seeing other family members on any other HW show. Aside from parents and children. Have you ever seen a HW say, oh this is my cousin? Or my sister -in-law? They may be in the background at parties but BRAVO never shows things like that. Am i mistaken?
Can you think of any situation where cousins and distant relatives are shown on the show?
Maybe not as much family members, but the majority of Hw’s do film with family members or close friends that are not part of the cast. (I should have listed close friends in my original comments.) With the exception of Kim D, and Guidice family members, seasons 3 and 4, Tre very rarely films with anyone other than her kids and cast mates.
Tre says that prior to the Gorgas/ Wakiles joining the show they were all very close, so yes I do find it interesting that they never were actually filmed together. Sorry, I just think it’s odd.
Hmm, maybe odd, IDK? But too, at that time prior to them ruining everything and joining, all of T’s time was mainly with Dina and Jax, her and her kids, the others and their kids. So there really was no reason for them to be on camera. Also, even though they had a better relationship then, it did also have some issues already and I don’t think Teresa wanted that on the show.
Bottom line: even if you are getting along, would you want a SIL like Melissa coming on your show? You don’t have to a degree in behavioral psychology to see this woman is manipulative, calculating, and desires fame above just about everything. And those sisters!! I wouldn’t want her at my workplace either: never a good idea and Teresa knew it.
JanieG- agree!! teresa had her reasons, and her being there for 2 years before them should have been respected somewhat to not have them join. I can see Bravo wanting a little drama for ratings, but I would have loved to see the direction of the show had they not cats Melissa and Kathy. Or even just Kathy I could have dealt with. Where are Cathy’s other siblings, Jac’s brothers, and Carolyn’s other 6 siblings we never meet –only saw 4. No other franchise including Atlanta, BH, and NY features siblings and cousins in the spotlight, only usually mothers. Why is Tre held to a standard No One Else must abide to or meet-Tre and Tre only must feature her sister-in-law and cousin only. Have you ever meet one of Jac’s sister-in-laws except Carolyn and Dina because news flash–there are 5 more in hiding by Jac! How dare Jac hide those other 5 sister-in-laws when they could sell products and be famous by trashing Jac. The hypocrisy by viewers is never ending.

Why would bravo air on tv Teresa introducing her brother and wife like its an interview? I have a hard time finding a context where this would be film worthy. Except i do think there was a shot where she introduced her brother maybe season two? Also remember the gorgas were campaigning hard to get cast so Im sure bravo was well aware they were tryin to get camera time. Why would they film them at a teresa party if they werent interested in casting them at the time? The hwnj is not a show where the cast keeps bringing in new people. We dont even know if Jac has siblings at all.

Lookers was on film for Gia’s party in S1 or S2 when Gia got the 4 wheeler and Gia and her friends went to the nail salon in a limo. Lookers was pissed that Antonia didn’t get to ride in the limo and posted a bunch of crap on the boards about it. She thought that Antonia at 3 years old needed to ride in the limo with all the 8 and 9 year old kids. Big difference in kids at that age.
Back at the shore when they were all on the boat.Richie and Crew talked about how in the old times they all spent every weekend on Joe and Tre`s boat.They where at Tre`s parties but producers decide editing.They were floor covering until the show needed a hook.
doesn’t crazy caro have 11 siblings? why weren’t any one of them on the show besides dina? dina’s husband wasn’t on the show either and they have tons of other family members and friends i haven’t seen. as i recall i even remember jac and caro saying they try to protect other family members from being filmed. many other housewives extended family members on other shows don’t get filmed. either out of protection or bravo just don’t think their worth filming for the story. so i don’t think it strange at all that teresa’s family were hardly filmed. i think not only was she trying to protect them, but protect herself because she knew what they would try to do. also i think at the time bravo didn’t care about them and they weren’t needed for any scene. at the housewarming party melissa and joey were there and teresa even introduced her brother to everyone but bravo didn’t air it. that part was cut out.

As bad a brother as Joey Marco is he is an even worse son. His parents pay off the girl who charged Joey with rape so that his record would be clear. Then he sells his parents home out from under them so he could have money to build his first house. That is why his parents are living in an apartment. Teresa was added onto her house so that her parents could live with them but Joey Marco didn’t want them that close to Teresa and Juicy. Joey called a building inspector friend of his and shut down that project.
I heard that the power company shut off the power to Looker and Joey Marco’s home the other day. Anyone that thinks that Lookers is selling her home just to get away from Teresa is BLIND and DUMB. They can not afford the house after all the money they lost with her music flop.

I am not a fan of Kathy never have been never will. There’s something about her that I just can’t completely put my finger on but I don’t like her. What’s Joe’s excuse for not speaking to his nieces in over a year? He only pays attention to Gia and will only give Milania recognition rarely. Haven’t seen him interact with Gabriella at all and it even shows him ON CAMERA refusing to hold Audriana’s hand and tries to make excuses for it. He is mad Teresa doesn’t “celebrate his kids” but he doesn’t pay hers any attention either. Gabriella seems indifferent to both him and Melissa and Milania has been heard saying “Melissa stinks” and “who cares about zio Joe”. It’s clear these girls are used to him not being in their lives.

I can’t believe how some of you get so involved in the lives of people that CHOOSE to do reality tv. Teresa & Joe Gorga’s parents had to sign a contract to appear on camera. Obviously to those of us that dont hang on every episode, there is some scripting & planning as to what was going to happen- why else would Rosie be there?! Honestly people, you can’t see what “co-inky-dink” that all was?! The producers & Andy Cohan are PROFESSIONALS & RHONJ desperately needs ratings to pay for the advertising.
I dont think Kathy said it to be mean, but to show Teresa how it feels when someone attacks their family. This petty back & forth bitching about ‘who’s saying what to whom” – “Oh I was just joking for entertainment” (cookbook comments) and all the other garbage that has been spewing from the mouth of Teresa has been building for quite some time. I think at some point when Teresa ran to the other sofa, someone said “how do you like it?” but Teresa is far too narrow minded & obtuse to have understood the parallel.
I can’t understand how some of you become so involved in this garbage. Are they personal friends of yours, do they attend your family functions, or go to your house of worship? Why would anyone personally take the time to sit & surf the internet for gossip, or court records for past indescreations & mistakes that they’ve paid for. What do you have to gain from it? Do you think you’re going to be invited to their homes for coffee? Are you attempting, by picking a “Team”, to become their friend? Both Melissa and Joe Gorga are Malignant Narcissists. Melissa has the edge because she is more intelligent than her husband. Note: I am in no way saying Melissa is intelligent but compared to him she’s Steven Hawking. The relationship will implode. It probably already has. He is running out of money and she will find someone to pick-up the slack. She will blame it on his volatility (which we all have witnessed) and will probably claim abuse, once again making herself out to be the victim. He is running out of his usefulness for Melissa.
Melissa has a huge army of flying monkeys (her sisters and their extended families at first and now the Manozs, Lauritta’s and the Wakiles, all of who suffer differing degrees of narcissism, I’m telling you these HWs shows run RAMPANT with MNs) and these flying monkeys are doing her bidding. Joe Gorga has no one–now. His wife and her monkeys saw to that. It wasn’t difficult to do after Teresa had 4 children to attend, a husband having a breakdown and possibly going to jail, a TV show, a business to run, a bankruptcy, lawsuits and possibly losing her family’s home. Throw into this Hellish mix trying to figure out WHO was divulging all her personal information out to the public and dealing with “friends” and “family” that would all sell her down the road for fame and money.
Both Teresa and Joe Gorga have stated that the disintegration of their relationship accelerated when Teresa’s attention waned after his 1st child was born and Teresa had just had her 3rd. Joe Gorga was not happy with the amount of fawning received from his sister over his FIRST BORN and constantly reminds her how he supposedly worshiped Gia. His narcissism would not let him have empathy towards the demands of Teresa’s life. Teresa did not have as much time to fawn over her brother and his family and I am sure her parents had to give more time to Teresa to help her do the show, do appearances for Bravo and her business etc.Melissa and her flying monkeys pounced on this and instead of being a “good wife”, as Teresa would say, and explain to him the hardship of mothering 3 then 4 children under the age of 8 and juggling everything else, they decided to make Teresa the villain. They turned the fact that Teresa was fighting from all ends to keep her life together as a slight to the angel from God. That is where the “we’re your real family, Joey” germinated. They ramped up their false worship of him to garner the “angel form God’s” full favor and in turn cutting him off from his original source of ego stroking which was Teresa and his parents. The malignant narcissist needs a constant flow of fawning over and ego stroking like a heroin junkie needs a fix. Joe Gorga, like a junkie, needed to find another dealer. Narcissism is also the reason Melissa needed to prance around in a bikini and fool old guys with hundred dollar bills for “just handing them a drink”. Have you ever heard of any man forking over 100 dollars just because someone was cute…mind you this was pre-breast enhancement, nose job,lip enhancement and professional make-up artisits…
And that is how Melissa has been able to fool quite a few people. She is the Queen Narcissist in this theater of the absurd and everyone on this show is using the other for their own narcissistic needs. Trust me, Melissa and Caroline will not remain “friends” for very much longer, there cannot be 2 Queens.
I am also probably the only person that feels badly for Juicy. This man was so esteemed in the first 2 seasons because of how he doted on his wife and daughters and, he deserved it! This must have made the Joe Gorga INSANE!!! HE is the “angel from God”! It is apparent that he was always pitting himself against Juicy with Teresa, and, with her heart of gold, she tried to appease both him and her husband. Juicy saw through him and probably went over board trying to point out to his wife that Joe Gorga was not an angel from God but a complete ass who needed his sister’s and parent’s constant attention. Juicy is a man’s man, he does not have time for momma’s boys who think they are angels from God. Teresa and Juicy DID help Joe Gorga start his business and instead of acknowledging their help and being thankful, like a NORMAL person, all he gave is his resentment. After all, an angel from God is perfect and does not need help! Acknowledging someone has helped you (in the narcissistic mind) is confirmation that you are not the personification of perfection (like an angel from God) but something a little more human.
Did Juicy cheat? I don’t know. I hope he would not bring that kind of dishonor to his wife or children. That being said, he was going through a crisis of identity. He was feeling less than a man, a failure. Add to that the entire world gawking at his failure and judging with a harshness unequal to anything the average person could imagine and each step of his downfall appearing weekly on a national television show which is dissected on a scale that never existed prior to social media and the electronic age. If he did in fact cheat, and I do not think he did, I would not fault Teresa for forgiving him. That is love. None of us are perfect, none of us, and we all react to situations differently. If we are hurt by our loved ones we must look into ourselves and pray we can have the empathy to understand their actions, IF they ask forgiveness and are truly contrite. I see how he looks in his daughter’s eyes and how he tenderly stood with Teresa at Jamie’s wedding wishing for world peace and…maybe a little boy…that is not the heart of an evil man. He may be rough and not as articulate as our dime store novels portray how a loving man should act but I would take Juicy over any of those fictional, silver tongued lotharios any day.
And who has suffered the most from all of these over blown egos vying for attention? Teresa. Everything they say she is guilty of is their projection of their actions onto her. Why, because of her undying loyalty, even to those that have not earned it nor know how to treasure someone who would put others ahead of themselves. It is a foreign concept to the MN because the universe needs to revolve around them, they have no time for others unless than can be of service to them and once that person has fulfilled their purpose they seek to DESTROY them by any means. The are cunning and crafty and masters at projection to throw the sent of of who the rat actually is.
I do not want Teresa to reconcile with her brother or any of these people. A malignant narcissist cannot get “better” with any amount of therapy. The only way to heal yourself is to completely remove yourself from their life. I pray for Teresa and her family every night, what has been done to them is beyond atrocious and the entire world has been seduced into thinking what is good is evil and what is evil is good.

I can tell you all that there are many many more drunk drivers on the road than get caught, and chances are you may have been one of them without even realizing it. People would be shocked at how few drinks you need to consume in order to blow a DUI. I was a bartender for many years and always HATED having this argument with customers who thought they were “FINE” when *I* knew they were LEGALLY DRUNK. So if any of you are picturing a stumbling, drooling Joe Giudice, I’m just saying…I bet he thought HE was fine too.

It’s a shame that the women, especially Kathy and Melissa, have no limits. They have no dignity or morals. Teresa has shown her parents, her children and husband in a very good light. I have found it telling since the first episode of S3 during the christening that The Gorga parents seemed to side with Teresa and Joe rather than the Meho twins. Since then it’s become obvious that Melissa and Joe have always been on the outs with the family, so in revenge they have isolated Teresa from her friends and extended family.

I get all your points. But, Bravo can’t really be blamed for everything. Yes, they script some pretty shitty situations.
However, when all is said and done every single cast member on this show needs to ask themselves which is more important…being on a show making money and becoming famous, or maintaining family/friends relationships. At any point Teresa, Caroline whomever could walk away. End their contract. But none of them chose to do so. So I personally don’t feel that sorry for any of them. They are making tons of money and able to lead lives most of can attain in this economy.
