Teresa Giudice Calls Out Melissa Gorga’s ‘Acting’ and Celebrity Seeking Ways
Recently RHONJ star Teresa Giudice has been defending herself against Melissa’s claims that Teresa roughed her up at a Giudice birthday party in January 2012. Teresa believes Melissa is putting on an act and is calling her out on that, as well as Melissa’s quest to become a celebrity!
Teresa spoke to RumorFix and said that Melissa coming on the show has been all an act to appear as if she’s the victim and Teresa the villain. Teresa says: “Melissa is a really good actress. I was on the show two years before she came on. She came on the show behind my back. I think she’s very calculating, very contrived, and knows what she’s doing. I know from knowing her eight years now that what you see on this show is not the real Melissa. Eventually everyone’s true colors come out. One day maybe eventually maybe you guys will see that. She plays the victim role really well.”
Teresa was also asked about Melissa’s celebrity status seeking and Teresa believes that Melissa’s constant appearances on red carpets and media parties are a clear indicator. “Hello! She attends every single party that’s out there. That’s not me. I have a family, I have four daughters, I hardly go to parties because I have four daughters to take care of. I’m not out there half as much as she is out there“, says Teresa.
I will agree with Teresa on Melissa’s constant involvement in the celebrity red carpet circuit. I’ve believed she wanted this reality TV fame ever since she recorded ‘On Display’ without the world even knowing who she was. Teresa is usually making appearances based on her products and business ventures. Thoughts on what Teresa claims about her sister in law?

Melissa and Joey had every opportunity to be fairly regular cast members at any one of Teresa’s events the two years she was on the show without her family. It’s not her fault that Bravo never included the Gorgas on the show. Teresa’s not responsible for editing! The Gorgas had TRIED to get on the show ever since Tre got on it, but it wasn’t until Bravo saw how nuts Teresa went about her family (season 2 reunion) that they realized they could make it a storyline. And no one TOLD Teresa that they were being vetted for the show. She only found out when Andy called to tell her they were cast. How come they didn’t tell Tre while they were getting vetted? Cuz they wanted to do it behind her back.
Teresa then held off on signing her contract-and I think she might have gotten more money-because she didn’t know if she was going to film with her family.
Teresa knew months in advance of filming that her brother, Melissa and Kathy were going to be on the show, so nobody “snuck on the show behind her back” in the first place.
She should really give it a rest with that; even her own fans are getting tired of it.
I thought Andy said they were called about being interviewed and Teresa knew that – but that she wasn’t told officially they were on the show until the phone call from him. There is a difference there. Neither Melissa or Kathy told her themselves when they found out – I would find that hurtful myself.

I feel the age difference between the two is relevant- T is 40 or so? and Melissa is 32 or 33? It doesn’t mean either should neglect their children, but I can understand why Melissa might like to go out more and choose to attend parties more frequently than Teresa.
Heather, the mother’s age has nothing to do with it. It’s the KID’S age. That’s what should determine a mother’s proximity to and time in the home.

Well, the kids are not going to the party, the adult is- neither woman has an infant and a child can be supervised by someone other than the mother (like… the father, for example.) I think it’s unfair to assume a mother should never leave her child in responsible hands to enjoy her own life. Again, I don’t think it should be done to excess, but my point is Melissa has not had as much time as T to party and enjoy her thirties. I agree to disagree.

Yes, thats why I was sickened to see that Messy skipped the whole sadness when it happened over the weekend, yet waited until Oct 3 to tweet that as if it JUST happened. I don’t think it makes sense to say someone IS “contrived,” (obviously planned or calculated; not spontaneous or natural), unless you specify what EXACTLY it is about her that IS contrived.

I disagree, contrived means artificial or having a quality of artificiality. You could ask someone “How was the play?” and they might reply, “I found it contrived” or “It was contrived.” It doesn’t absolutely require elaboration. I agree that it’s not especially common to describe a human being as contrived, but that doesn’t make it incorrect, especially if she believes that everything about Melissa is artificial and nothing is genuine. You could certainly say “Her entire being” or “Her entire persona” is contrived and require no elaboration. Substituting a personal pronoun amounts to the same thing.
Okay, but imo she still really SHOULD say, “Everything about her seems contrived” or “Jac’s reaction seemed contrived” for it to really make sense.
