Teresa Giudice Almost Brought to Tears When Asked About Joe Gorga
We all know that RHONJ has revolved around Teresa not getting along with her brother and his wife Melissa. They just saw each other for the first time in a year at the Season 4 reunion taping and we already know that it did not end very well for them!
Teresa spoke to OK! Magazine when she attended the 6th Annual Eric Trump Foundation Golf Invitational in New York City earlier this week, and according to the magazine’s report, Teresa was almost brought to tears when she was asked about her current relationship with Joe Gorga. Teresa says, “I haven’t spoken to my brother in a year and I never thought that would happen. So, I don’t know, hopefully in another year we will be speaking. Who knows, maybe we won’t. Where I see myself, is that hopefully I will be speaking to him.”
I feel really awful for the Gorga family and I hope they can move past their drama as soon as possible! It’s time to get past the drama of reality TV and make things better for the sake of family and not fame. Do you think the Gorga family will ever be able to reconciliate?

I think Melissa and Teresa are too much alike in the worst ways possible. Until their 15 minutes are up, I don’t think they’ll speak.
Good observation. They are very much alike in many ways. NO AMOUNT OF MONEY IS WORTH THIS. Would they be on the outs anyway? Who knows. The show did not help. Public scrutiny does so much damage to private lives.
Agreed, I will say this – on WWHL maybe the after show? Teresa got a call about Melissa and she looked very sad and said I love her and I will always love her. Melissa was watching WWHL and at some point said – she looks happy. I think they do both have regrets. I wish they would just call a truce. I feel bad for the kids and frankly for them. I think Melissa would do it and that Joe Gorga is stopping it. He is a big baby. But Melissa would have to get her sisters to shut up – they really fuel the fire on twitter.
Although I do love to bash the hell out of Melissa I will say the scene of her taking Antonia to school and with Teresa girls was cute. The scenes with Teresa kids involving Melissa makes her little bit more likable to me. Honestly, I think that they both have people in their ears telling them that the other is wrong, and that they should hold their ground. From the reading tweets, I’m positive that Melissa’s sisters and make up artist are in her ear. JMO.
I feel the same way. If all the cameras and all the negative people were gone they’d be able to get along. The problem is that the most negative influence of all is Melissa’s family. Her sisters don’t want them to make up because then they’d have no reason to be on the show.
I think the most negative influence of all is Melissa herself. She doesn’t care about Teresa or the rest of her husband’s family. She has totally isolated him from his sister, and how could the outcome have been any different? They thought dragging Teresa through the mud every week would bring them all together? Yeah, right!
Melissa, Joey Gorga, and Kathy are scum. We’re taught to believe that family members always have our best interests, but in this case that’s false. Teresa’s brother is not who she thinks he is.
They are nothing alike, nothing. Mel is very vindictive and cunning. Tre actually has a moral compass.
I agree when I was reading the post that they are so much alike, I was thinking no way. Those two are night and day.
Plus, IT WAS Melissa and Joe who joined the show KNOWING they weren’t getting along, and whom ultimately decided to air their dirty laundry. So, sorry, it is Melissa and that ultimate baby/disgusting Joe Gorga’s fault. For 2 seasons, Teresa never said anything negative about her brother or sister-in-law, but they were so damn jealous and got on the show in a very wicked way.

Melissa and her sistas we’re all in on it so Melissa figures I have to get on the show for more drama and she did.. Melissa had it all planned out the singing sticking it to Teresa anyway she could’ve and she got very very closes to Jaco-sicko this nut bag really really needs medication she’s serious problems OMG, she’s worry all about TERESA,and TERESA THAT I mean come on she should be more worried about her SON then Teresa done you think??? I agree. As long as they remain on this show and are competing for fame and fortune they will never reconcile. I’m not sure that Melissa wants to make up with Teresa because I think she joined the cast to give Teresa a bad time and to replace her as the star of the show. Teresa’s no angel but this was her show prior to her family joining up. I believe that Melissa and Kathy had an agenda. I believe that kathy is a huge trouble maker and that she never liked Teresa.
Totally agree. I think Kathy is the major source of Tresa, Melissa and Joe drama. Kathy has been dealing with issues about her feeling for Teresa since she married Richie when Teresa was 16yrs old. The divison really makes her day.
I feel so sorry for Teresa! Husband, brother, $$, friend drama…all on top of normal life raising 4 kids. She can’t seem to catch a break.
It all seems so unnecessary right? I’ve been thinking, why does Joe jump at the chance to keep friction and distance in their lives? Thats not normal. Either he has some low level mental issue or Teresa knows something about little brother that would be very embarrassing to let out. Bobbie, according to whatever info was put out possible to be seen, there was an alleged rape and it was stated that his father paid the girl off to drop the charges. Something like that leads me to believe that is one reason he is the way he is! I have never said this because it sounds too mean and judgmental towards people I really don’t know but…I think the only reason why people (on and off the show) can’t see that Teresa is not at fault here is because NO ONE can believe that there is a person out there so loyal and respectful to her family and friends. She is always thinking the best of everyone, no matter what they do or say to her.
She might make jokes about different situations and different people, but they are made TO THEIR FACE, and they are in on the joke. Caroline thought it was funny when Tre called her 1/16th Italian on the Rachel Ray Show-so why would T think it would be a problem including it in her book?

I follow Lookers, her sisters, her husband, her make up dude and what they do each and every week on twitter is disgusting. They never let an opportunity to pass where they can make Teresa look bad. I also follow Teresa and she never says anything bad about her cast mates or family.
Do you seriously think that Teresa would sell a story to a magazine that makes her or her family look bad? Do any of those articles “quote” Teresa? NO. For the past year there has been at least one story every week bashing Teresa in either Lookers favorite rag US Weekly or Jac favorite Radar Online written by none other than Jac friend Tom Murro.
Please tell me ONE thing that Teresa has done to hurt the rest of them that came directly from Teresa. All I ever hear is that Teresa did this and Teresa did that but each time it is coming from Jac, Lookers, Joey, Kathy or the red queen. All have been caught on film this year lying. Recently the red queen lied about hearing Teresa talk bad about her brother while she was on the phone with her mother. Sorry but Teresa mother only speaks to her kids in Italian. Caro does speak or understand Italian Lookers lied about babysitting Teresa kids while she went to her October launch party when the she actually took the girls on July 11 for mani and pedis. Her biggest lie will be revealed this week when she claims she never worked as a dancer. Too many people from her past are ready to show proof that she did.

The reasons why they even argued in the first place were very small and petty, worthless reasons to cut family off. If family can do that to family and have no remorse, what is the point of having them as family? Its very sad, especially because most of this was because of fame chasing and jealousy.
My brother’s daughter in law had an argument with one of my sister’s on xmas eve 2009, and we have not seen his family since that day. After one year, he finally came over to my mom’s house and talked with her. My brother choose his immediate family of the rest of us. I don’t think it will ever be healed.
Very sad, thats all I can say.. We had something similar in our fam.. One member, for years , as far back as I remember as a kid. Anyway, I will try and keep short, lol, no one in the entire family has ever known or had any clue as to what would set her off. Needless to say no one has heard from her in tears and its horrible feeling. We all love her, we all tried getting answers.. I hate seeing this happen to people especially when it seems so petty. You should accept each other as you are, you cannot change others just love them as your family. Breaks my heart when I see this with others because life can be short, you only live once!

Yes, the first time Mel and Joe was on rhnj, the Marco sisters already had a fan page on FB and made themselves public figures was a huge turn off for me. They are so embarrassing, I cringe for them.

I hate to say this, and not wishing it, but until something very tragic happens that would bring them together as a family, I don’t think any real repair is going to happen.

You cannot put the full blame on Joe Gorga. As much as I love Teresa, I don’t think she’s always done right by the Gorgas. She has said things like her husband putting birthday presents they bought the Giudice children in the garbage. With siblings, especially competitive ones like these, there’s always a scorecard. While I think Joe is mostly in the wrong, surely Teresa has done things to put him in that place.
It’s really ashame. T and Joe’s parents suffer, their children suffer. All over what? The worst part is, I can’t tell what’s “real” or for the cameras anymore. If you ask me, as much as we love reality TV and the housewives, it has destroyed a family and blurred the lines of reality so much that I’m sure they are all confused where the problem even lies.

Wait, wait about the gifts..I always tap into my family and friends interests when selecting a gift. Nor am I cheap but I can’t tell you how many times I have received some skimpy gift that was picked out at the gas station or drug store on the way to see me, like a last minute thought. After I weed out the cheapskates, they’re no longer on my gift list.
When cuz started her crap with me last year..she began poisoning other cousins and family members against me. However, after awhile they began to think about what a great cousin I had been and the things I would do for them. Like my youngest male cousin, he likes this particular designer and he can’t afford to pay $75 for a t-shirt. Everytime I get a good deal on one of these shirts I send it to him, he’s in college. He is so cute he didn’t want me to think he was against me so he started coming to spend the weekends to hang out with me and my daughter.
I feel awful for these people. Especially their parents. It’s shameful people fame more than family, but I guess that’s the time we’re living in. Andrea – I was thinking the same thing. My family is small and we’re not ‘tick as teeves’. Rather we love and respect each other. Our squabbles take place in private with only family even knowing any particulars. And heaven help the person who says anything bad about my brother or sister. We know we’re not perfect, but we’re a united front to the outside world. We got it from our parents and I see my kids are the same. I’m sure your children will follow your lead as well Andrea.

I am in the same boat as T and some of you, minus the pseudo reality fame whore thing. It took me a long time to learn that the family tug of war never ends with a clear winner. What T needs to do is drop the rope and let them hang themselves with it.

I agree. I said something about this from life’s experience I had to learn that everyone that I share a bloodline with is not my family. Everyone has a war within their family. My mother and her siblings do not talk to one of their brothers to be honest I don’t even remember why. My mom has tried to mend fences, but too much time and pride has gotten in the way. I see first hand how this affects my grandmother, and as I said before, I hope this never happens to me and my sisters; and as a mother I hope it never happens with my kids. This is sad because I do think that Teresa loves her brother and his kids; and Melissa is really good with Teresa’s kids and she seems to love them. Unfortunately, sometimes people have to feel like there is a wrong side and a right side, instead of both being wrong and right on different issues, and respect that there is some gray areas. Their parents are loosing and so are their children, and when something happens should’ve would’ve could’ve leaves a very bitter taste in your mouth and you’re stuck with a lot of regret and anger within yourself, which restarts the cycle.

I know how sad it is when you have 3 brother and one of them will not speak to one. Is down right rude to that one even when Our father passed away young. (agent orange) And then when my mother passed away a few years ago The outed brother tried to talk to the younger brother and tell him it was time to put away the jealousness of the past. And the younger brother just walked away from him like he did not hear him. It was sad.
Now my middle brother is waiting on a liver. I am going to see him in Oct. But my younger brother is not going to go because he does not want to be there in case my older brother comes. I can not believe that seeing our middle brother while he is still alive is not more important who has “more” then the other.
So see sometimes even death will not even will make a difference. And even though I have tried over the last years to get them together, I too have given up.

AWw, so sorry for your family! I hope and pray all goes well with your brother! I agree, that sadness and tragedy don’t even fix things anymore, as I stated above, it did not work in mine either. Such a shame that it happens in families, depending on situation. But its even worse when you look at life and how precious it is and fragile it can be, that people walk away from loved ones over things that seem small in the grand scheme of things.

I just want to take a minute to thank our host for allowing all comments to post without censoring us. I’ve been trying to post on Kathy’s latest blog several, but it goes into moderation and then disappears. All of the posts carry on about how wonderful she is. Ah freedom of speech. Thanks Roxy!
I think a family rupture that lasts this long can only be sustained because all four, Teresa & Joe and Melissa & Joe contribute to it. However, it seems pretty clear to me that neither Teresa nor Melissa are the core antagonists in this fight. That role belongs to Joe Gorga alone.
Let’s look at the others first. Teresa has sought rapprochement several times with invites, apologies and the letter she drafted with Jac’s assistance last season. She contributes to the continued rupture by glossing over the grievances that she and the others have. By repeatedly insisting on putting it all behind without discussing what, specifically, was hurtful there is no learning and no resolution.
Melissa has done her part with invites and activities. She has, on occasion, refused to go along with Caroline’s efforts to heat up the conflicts. She has, on occasion, encouraged her husband to meet with Teresa. She contributes to the conflict, though, by encouraging anti-Teresa gossip with the Wakiles and her sisters in front of her husband.
Joe Giudice does his part in trying to keep the peace by avoiding the constant temptation to rehash slights and fights and saying, fugheddaboutit when the topic comes up. He contributes quite a lot to the conflict with his obvious disrespect for Joe Gorga and Melissa and his text message war with Joe – though both are guilty there.
Joe Gorga, though, is truly the fulcrum of this conflict. Whenever I think about Teresa’s love for her brother, I think back to that book signing where he asked her to sign his books and bullied her mercilessly for an apology. Meanwhile, in two years we have never heard a single apology for her outburst at the christening. In fact, he continues to blame Teresa for his unconscionable behavior. But, back to the book signing. You could see his face there and all there was in his face was contempt and hatred. Whatever love he feels for his sister is overruled by jealousy and hatred.
Is there a single episode of RHONJ that does not have Joe Gorga bitching to any ear he can find about his sister? He complains to all the men in the cast, all the women in the cast, but also to the contractor, the decorator, the kids. There’s no one who misses out on his diatribes against his sister. He has no discretion and no boundaries.
While he is jealous of her celebrity, I don’t think that is the extendt of it. That he suffers from immense jealousy is shown by his clownish attempts to be the life of every party, the center of all attention and his vainglorious braggadocio. He craves celebrity in a way no other person in any of the Housewives franchise craves it. Yes, they all want celebrity, but he needs it like junkie needs a fix. He will do anything for it – from abusing his sister, to embarrassing his parents to treating his wife like a blow-up doll instead of human being.
I think, though, that he is also deeply jealous of Teresa’s relationship with their parents. We have seen Teresa with her parents many times, but less so with Joe. I think of the christening and his anguished “You’re my father!” and his resentment that Joe Giudice garners more respect from his parents than he does. Frankly, there is something deeply wring with Joe Gorga. You see it in his misogynist failure to respect his wife’s agency as a human being separate from himself, you see it in his rages, his compulsive gossiping and his satyriasis. There are moments when he seems developmentally and emotionally stunted. He is not a well man in any sense of the word. It’s a pity that Bravo continues to involve themselves with this attention junkie – because it cannot end well.

A due has zero ability to self analyze and see his own behavior has effected his dads opinion of him. “Giudice poisons my dads head with lies”. If they were lies and joeys actions were completely different from what is said about him, his father wouldn’t believe anyone, PEOPLE BELEIVE ACTIONS….. IF THE ACTIONS CONFIRM THE GOSSIP, THE GOSSIP IS ACCEPTED MORE EASILY.

Sorry but the bottom line is her brother is being an asshole!Who care what the drama is over they all need to drop the shit and knock it off. Talk about behaving worse than children. I really really miss season 1 and 2….. where it was fun between Jac, Caroline and Teresa and Dina !! And the only one people had to worry about was Danielle !!
So it saddens me to see where they all are today!
I can see some of Melissa’s and Kathys points about Teresa… I can see where they are coming from and their frustration. I can see how having Joe Giudice in the family can really be a stress and a worry.
HOWEVER no matter how good a point, Melissa and Kathy make about Teresa… how good of an argument they have – at the end of the day they have made an “own goal” – “Shot themselves in the foot” as the saying goes. This is because by joining the show with no positive story line including Teresa and only to raise these negative comments – they have made it seem like they are the jealous sour and vindictive and only came on the show for one thing – to trash Teresa.
Any comments they make now will always be overshadowed with the fact they joined a very popular national show (And international – as I don’t live in America!) where EVERYONE will just see that yes they may have a really good point/case to make, but why why if you are all about family – join a show and speak negatively about your family for the whole world to know and hear ?!
And that is coming from someone who in between season 3 and 4 became a Team Melissa and kathy and Jac and Caroline fan….
However I changed my mind when I watched season 4 because then I saw how horrible they were treating Teresa and how she was being bullied. Though I will say I do see how Teresa comes across to the other side of the fence ! But that doesn’t excuse some of the behaviour – especially Carolines behaviour on the Napa trip.
Teresa will get no where with her brother or Melissa. Not for a very long time anyway. It’s hard to believe they were ever very close after he married. One thing that is obvious is that Melissa saw the celebrity Teresa gained by being on the Real Housewives and she wanted a slice of that pie. And anything Melissa wants, Joe gets her.
They sold their soul to the devil to get on that show with promises to take Teresa down. Now they’ve had their say, done their dirty work and what have they gained?
So Joe finances Melissa’s singing career. She makes a few songs, all paid for by him. She’s now appearing at supermarkets, cheap bars and Six Flaggs. This wannbe JLo doesn’t even come close.
Meanwhile the family is in tatters and Teresa and Joe’s parents must be heartbroken.
What a difference it would of been if family and not fame were the bottom line. And that goes for all this bloody lot.

What I find the saddest is that Joey Gorga knows how to make his sister cry and loves to do it any chance he gets! What kind of sick twist is this guy?
It does seem like he likes to push her to cry. That is really messed up.
Tresa needs to cut ties with her brother he is piece of crap, and he wonders why his parents are upset with him not because of what Teresa says but because of how he treats teresa on TV calling her names and insulting her

How can Teresa move past this? I think it’s safe to say that we as viewers feel betrayed by the Gorgas, I can’t imagine how deep the hurt would be for Teresa. I know that from watching the last 2 seasons, there’s nothing Melissa, Joey and all the others can do to restore my trust in them. The have destroyed every ounce of credibility they might have. I will never support any of their current or future endeavors. They’ve all spoken loud and clear. If this were my family, it would take an act of god for me to be able to forgive them. (I’m not a grudge holder) I’d want public apologies, groveling, resignation from the show, admission of all wrong doings. The list goes on and on. It’s so sad that their need for fame and riches destroyed a family.
Melissa may have accomplish what she always wanted. Things may be going great for her right now. It might even go her way for a very long time. But I bet you my life that everything she has done to the Gorgas and Tereasa will happen to her. Even worse. Remember she has two sons. I have seen happen couple of times. It never works out good. You get what you give out. I try really hard to live by that. I’m human so there’s times Im going to make mistakes but nothing what Melissa has done.
In the end Tereasa will end up happy with her 4 girls and their future husbands. While Melissa is suffering with another version of herself.
I don’t wish this upon Melissa but thats just the law of Karma. Wishing her plenty of luck in the future

angelo, not much really- looks like he opened his twitter literally days ago…. johnny is eluding to being prepared for people to be ‘knocking on his door’ (I think he means questions/interviews) and is saying he has ALLL HIS documentation… I would say Angelo is also getting ready for interviews. Johnnythegrk said w/angelo in copy that the two of them are boyhood friends, grew up together. If you read Roxy’s interview from last year with Angelo- he says he was just there (PFS) for support for PDK hair, but then over at Famewhorgas, they talk about how MEHO was obsessed and stalking this guy, “The Greek” who wouldn’t marry her, thus she chose SloJo, but when she was on the prowl for “The Greek” she pal’ed up w/Johnny and Penny. Then it went sour with “the Greek”, and somewhere in the whole mix of things, looks like Meho made an enemy of those two (Johnny n Penny)….

Wow. Just read a great blog on TheFameWhorgas site about Melissa and how she and Joey didn’t acknowledge Joey’s dad’s birthday. Teresa and her husband and kids had a cake for him and T posted a pic.
There are a bunch of twitters from Melissa posted there about all her appearances and performance dates, but nothing mentioned about Joe’s dad.
There is only ONE mention of her own son’s birthday.
The article goes on to show how Melissa is really all about herself and her kids are ignored. It’s a good read.
Every time I see Teresa tweet her schedule, Melissa will usually tweets her schedule soon after. She was to be at Six Flags to tonight. I have said it before, but doesn’t Six Flags usually signal the end of someone’s career? One can only go down from there!

From watching the show the past 2 season it is quite clear that all she cares about is herself!! I really feel bad for her kids it really reminds me of the movie MOMMY DEAREST.
Theresa’s family ALL has to try a lot harder….They take one step forward on the show and then 10 steps backwards talking about each other on the show. All of them do!
Eventually Joe and Melissa will end up like Kate Gosselin from that other reality show. People will forget them like they forgot her and thats when they will regret their actions.

I noticed that Melissa has posted a couple of pix of her kids on her twitter. What a coincidence that the FameWhorgas blog mentions that she hardly mentions them, her tweets are all about her. Tells me she is only doing it because she was called out on it. Oh, and because Teresa always posts her kids and talks about them. Melissa the copycat.
This family will never be back togather agin as long as Melissa is married to Joey. The reason I say this is because Melissa has so much hate and jealousy toward T that it will never change. This is why Melissa wants to be T and have what T has she wants the fame she has she wants the friends she has she wants to be the mother T is and the wife T is like I said before Melissa wants to be T!!! There are two reasons, IMO, why they will not reconcile. Joe thought that if they made Teresa fall, she would admit all of her wrongs and then they could reconcile. It would an acknowledgement that Teresa was wrong and he was right. But that is not going to happen. Unfortunately for the Gorgas, Teflon Teresa has come out on top after all of the bashing and demonizing. So, that form of reconciliation is not in the cards.
The only way to reconcile would be for JoeGorga to apologize for his treatment of Teresa on the show. I am certain she would greet him with open arms if he did that. But he can never admit that he was wrong. More importantly, I think his low self-esteem could not take that kind of hit. So he has to continue to delude himself that he is in the right.
Of course, all of this is exacerbated by the evil stepsisters and their clan (although the mother and aunt seemed quite nice and rational when they were on the show).
I would bet that he does not spend much time with his family because in that circle he is ashamed of his behavior.
I think its possible because Teresa is not above forgiveness …Is it smart for her to allow them back in her life ???? They have proved to have bad intentions where Teresa is concerned …
