Tami Roman And Royce Reed Recap Monday’s Episode Of Basketball Wives

Tami Roman blogged about Monday’s episode of Basketball Wives and didn’t hold back! She recapped her thoughts and claims that Kesha is paying producers and editors to not show the truth!

Tami Roman:
Watching this episode made it official…it’s my turn to play the angry black woman. I don’t want to address to many things because I will see all of these ladies at the reunion and I’m much more of a face to face person, but here goes…
Suzie
I want you to pay for my next therapy session because that is what saved your life at that birthday dinner. You have a bad habit of saying the wrong stuff at the wrong time. Now, I have forgiven you for that brief glitch in your brain, but that is the absolute LAST time you’re going to get a pass. I do like you and I know you are “simple” at times, so I’m willing to put this past us.

Kenya
You hit the nail on the head and you know I think your ass is crazy, but you SAID that last night. I’m not a bad person, but I deal with people a certain way and I try to be upfront. I asked both you and Keisha to just come talk to me…you did that and she didn’t. I don’t respect a woman who isn’t forthright, especially at 30 something years old. Regarding your speech…girl go sit the hell down. That ish was crazy! You don’t even know Shaunie like that – you had been around her all of two times when you made that speech. It was supposed to be heartfelt, but you made it really awkward for her at her own party. Although, I hope they show you singing…now that was classic…

Jennifer
In the moment, your apology seemed sincere, but watching it back…girl, why you lie in my face…Sidebar: Your speech was comical. People really had to hear the whole thing because between you and Kenya, I have NEVER seen anything like it. You made a speech about yourself and tried to pass it off as something special to Shaunie. I hope VH1 releases the uncut version of some of these moments. I’m just saying…

Royce and Kesha
That little meeting in the country store – again the main crux of my beef with Kesha was edited out. In that moment Kesha said she would’ve went off on me, but she didn’t want to embarrass me. I see where this show is going and I have to take the good with the bad. Kesha will be the “edited” version of a victim and I will be made to look like the angry Black woman or the bully. It is what it is because I accept full responsibility for my REACTIONS. Other than that, NO words, speechless…I can’t…

Evelyn
Your face was priceless last night! Now here is the thing…you nor I handle things properly once we get heated….That clutch to the dome was funny as hell though. Your aim, the precision…chiiiilllleeeee.
PS- Shed and the editors, whatever Kesha is paying you, I’ll double it just so the viewers can get the truth. I can’t wait to see how you screw me over with the Tahiti footage.

That isn’t the only basketball wife talking about Monday’s episode so is Royce Reed and she actually apologizes for saying Evelyn was trying to start drama!

Royce Reed:
In the beginning of this episode we see Shaunie, Evelyn and Tami sitting down for another round of drinks and discussing the confrontation she and Evelyn had with Kesha. I’m so happy it was noticed by the two how Kenya was seemingly enjoying the fact Kesha was getting told off. I’m also going to apologize for saying Evelyn was trying to start drama. After watching the conversation last week between her and Kesha, she didn’t seem to be starting drama, but I still wish she hadn’t gone back to Tami without telling her she was. But that’s my opinion and that’s how I handled it so I’m not being a hypocrite. I was kind of under the impression Shaunie felt Tami took it too far but never said it. Her facial expressions seemed to express that, but maybe it was just me. I hope Tami and Kesha can eventually talk it out but if not, I’m sure neither really care at this point. When the subject of Shaunie’s birthday party and who was invited came up I knew there was going to be some side-eyes for Jennifer. Although we all knew there would be some drama, it’s good Shaunie didn’t pick sides in choosing between Evelyn and Jennifer. As I stated a season or two ago, if you don’t have a problem with either party, invite them both and let them decide if they choose to show up or not. Keeps your hands clean. But like Tami expressed in her confessional, I’m sure a lot of viewers were hoping something popped off and had their popcorn bucket ready.
Moving on…Lets just give it up for scenes that weren’t in a restaurant eating and drinking or in a store shopping!!!!!! North Carolina was a lot of fun. That’s what it’s all about and I wish we could do more of that with my other cast members, but I don’t know if I can see Evelyn or Shaunie on an ATV hahaha! I enjoyed feeding the chickens, riding the ATVs and even roller skating although they didn’t show it.I’m happy I got to learn a lot more about Kesha and where she came from. I’m sure it’s hard growing up biracial and then not being able to knowor be a part of half your culture.Realizing exactly what she went through made me understand why Kesha is so sensitive about her roots and upbringing. Her family was a lot of fun and the pictures were classic. I still can’t get the picture with the big hair out of my mind. Too funny.

I too think Kenya is crazy and think she should have sat her butt down and not made the speech! Talk about feeling unconfortable! I don’t think Evelyn was starting drama and I’m glad Royce saw that too regarding the whole Kesha/Tami situation. I think it’s interesting that Tami is claiming the producers aren’t showing everything! Reality TV is really shady! Thoughts on the ladies blog?

@ Tami no worries girl!!! All the sisters know what is up with the “angry black woman” mess…and the “white girl victim” nonsense!!! The most important thing is that you are trying to get help! I commend you on that! I am really glad that you let that be seen, you don’t know how many women (especially black) needed to see you taking the steps to do that! I thought that was awesome! There are a few that need to follow you right to that therapist!!! You keep doing you!!! I think you are fabulous!! Making sisters proud!!! #TeamTami!!! XXOO Stay Blessed!!

    • kim says:

um…how is Kesha play the “white girl victim” when she refers to herself as a black woman, plus wth does that even mean?

      • Megan444 says:

She may refer to herself as a black woman but considering she was born of a caucasion mother she is a white girl like it or not.

        • Semone says:

Where did you come up with that formula? Rolling eyes…

          • Sunny says:

Kesha is as much black as she is white! People like YOU are the ones who make issues for biracial women like me. I am as much black as I am white and just as white as I am black. Get over it and worry about your own self and not how someone else identifies themselves. (SMH)

        • Ellenia says:

In the good old USA during slavery if a person had one drop of black blood in them they were considered BLACK! She still would have been considered a slave!

  2. BEv says:

    Rox,

I think it is interesting that you made no mention of Evelyn hitting Jen with her purse and waiting outside to further attack her. Your blog your opinion, but it is my opinion since you are just an Evelyn fan…..you seem to turn a blind eye when it comes to her bad behavior. However when it comes to pointing out other castmates actions, you are a little more forthcoming.

It is disgusting that continuing to push the envelope and physcially attacking people is overlooked. REgardless if you are a fan of Evelyn or Tami…..assault is assault. I see in the previews that Evelyn’s assistance goes around and smacks Jen.Then Ev tries to get at Jen to further the attack. It is disturbing the direction of these reality shows and how women are portraying themselves. These same women are then paid obcene amounts of money to further display this bahavior and continue to push the envelope even more. Evelyn is continuing to attack Jen so viciously because she knows that Jen is an easy target. From throwing wine bottles at Kenya to her repeated threats to Jen it is getting out of hand. Although Tami hasn’t been physcially YET….she has punched or tried to smash….Ev, Jen, and Meeka. it looks like her next victim may be Keisha. i guess when someone fatally gets hurt people will open their eyes. Sorry for the length…..just disgusted at some of these women. Glad Royce and Keisha are on, at least they seem to be have fun this season instead of swinging…..let’s hope that doesn’t change.

    • MissEbony says:

      Well said.

    • kimanee says:

      agree

    • Mila says:

Lame that ppl get upset with ur opinion. If u don’t want to mention it. Don’t! Were supposed to have our opinions and just read hers

      • T says:

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion…including Rox! But I do agree that Ev & Tami are & have been hugely out of line!! Grow the F up! Tami & Ev are both bullies…I get sick of the “editing” excuses! All reality TV so called stars bitch about editing when they start getting a bad wrap! Actually Teresa is the only one I have never heard blame editing! If you’re being an ignorant rude bully…own it!

    • CathyInAZ says:

      Wow. Great comment.
This is one show I may not be able to continue to watch because I’m not into violence. I got upset when I saw Ev hit Jen with the purse….Don’t know why I’ve seen worse on reality tv but seeing 2 friends act this way was really uncomfortable with me.

They are both beautiful smart women and yet – They are acting like idiots. I mean, isn’t it time they grew up?

And Tami. OMG ~ I hope its editing.

      • Megan444 says:

Well you’d better stop watching ASAP because there is a lot of fighting, slapping and cussing on this show. These women are ridiculous.

    • Sue j says:

I completely agree! And it seems some of them take their cheap shots because there are a lot of staff around to break up the fight so they don’t have to worry about getting hit back.

      • Truth Talks says:

I’m going to “date” myself but when MTV did a Real World reunion of like the first 8 season casts, Tami “complained” about how editing made her look a certain way (surprise). Heather B (from season 1) said something like “you can’t be edited a certain way when they are only workig with what you gave them”. In other words, don’t be mad because you came off like a “witch”, when that’s waht you presented. (That was the truth then & NOW!)

        • T says:

Love that you remember the early seasons of The Real World! I do too!! Tami has always been angry…she hasn’t changed at all!

        • BEv says:

completely forgot about her excuse regarding Real World. Tami doesn’t own up to anything. She demands respect, yet never gives it to others.

          • Beyoncca says:

I’m more bothered by sneaky trouble makers who play the victum. I don’t like how Kesha claims she’s “NOT ABOUT THE DRAMA” yet, on next weeks episode their she is telling Evelyn what Kenya said about Evelyn being loose. Which Kenya said while speaking freely to Royce and Kesha on what she thought of Evelyn before she met her. Who didn’t think Evelyn was loose.Kesha said “Kenya your Sad, your so sad”. When Kenya took her shoes off to better confront Kesha, Kesha ran towards producers, yelling “ya’ll can’t let her touch me, don’t let that girl touch me”. Scary ass. Perhaps Kesha should stay neutral instead of sucking Evelyn’s a**. Stop gossiping if your so classy. Phony Heifer.

        • Julie says:

I TOTALLY remember that and Heanther B. was 100% right. And if these people hate the “editing” so much why do they keep going back season after season. Personally to me both Tami and Renee from Mob Wives behavior is so psychotic it is hard for me to watch either shows. I mean you are not allowed to even utter their names before they start screaming they are going to kill you. I couldn’t handle filming with people like that, especially when you have to walk around on eggshells around them becuase they can flip a switch and attack you at any moment, regardless of if you have been friends for years or not. They are both very unstable.

          • smhagain says:

Funny you mention eggshells. That’s what the replacement noticed on Tami’s season of real world. She came in the house and made that observation in a few minutes.

I also remember heather b shooting down Tami’s claims that editing made her look bad.

    • AllAboutTRH says:

I’ll be honest. I do like Evelyn but I still haven’t watched the last 20 minutes thats why I barely commented on the birthday dinner! Don’t want to make excuses but I am a bit behind with exams :) I don’t agree with violence and I’ll watch the rest tonight!

      • BEv says:

Thanks for being honest and kind……….and not ripping my head off for my orginal comments. I have experience the wrath from other bloggers when i am simply state a respectful opinion, so appreciate you my dear. Good luck on your exams. Don’t know how you do it all, but I can forsee you will be very sucessful in life if you can juggle all of this at 19.

BLOGGERS ON OTHER SITES TAKE NOTICE!!!

      • Kathy says:

I love you Rox, but I find it hard to understand how you can “like” Ev. She’s a hateful, angry thug.

      • U can't hide stupid says:

:::claps hands:::: all other bloggers take note
Roxy, good luck on ur exams….

Re the “edit defense”: well, u can hide a pregnancy behind a purse, u can hide a few extra pounds in a girdle… But
u can’t hide stupid. Editing? Bitch please…. (not Tami… All of the RHs that use that excuse)

Editing can sharpen the edge or dull the edge of the tone of ur storyline. So can the music they use in the background. But it can’t change the footage.

Having said that, I do agree that the producers build on the pre-agreed to storyline. Tami is right about the storyline between her and Kesha – she doesn’t like the girl. But It’s not cos of racial issues. She just doesn’t like the girl. Tami gives them plenty of footage to use in building her storyline as an angry woman. They can sharpen that edge and put music over it to make it appear that the scene was more emotionally charged than it was in “real life”.

    • PandaBear says:

I haven’t watched this season at all, but bottle throwing, WTF? I completely agree with you in the seeming race to the bottom with reality shows like this.

  3. kimanee says:

    agree!

  4. BEv says:

where in my blog did i say i was upset with her opinion? I clearly stated an observation in regards to certain castmembers, then pointed out that in the end it is rox’s blog and her opinion. THEN I proceded to state my own opinion.

Opinions go both ways….up and down…..and side ways lol on this blog. No one is exempt from having an opinion including myself. I did not curse and was not rude about it. I respecfully just stated what i felt and why. Same as you are doing to me now.

  5. Esmerelda O'Shaunassey says:

I think Evelyn is a very nasty piece of work. She needs to grow up. She and Evelyn have entitlement issues. They act as if the rule so basic social etiquette do not apply to them. Their immaturity is an embarrassment. Are they really pleased with the behaviour they model for their daughters. Conflict resolution? Sharing your thoughts and feelings? Dealing with disappointment?
HORRIBLE WOMEN. They need to grow up….and FAST.

  6. hulkstress says:

So I heard about the cat-fight on Basketball Wives Monday evening. My co-worker at DISH was talking about Evelyn wanting to fight Jen and she even got smacked with Evelyn’s clutch! Lol, I couldn’t wait to go home and watch it. I was able to watch it on my computer using DISH Online. It’s a neat way to stay connected to my reality shows. I think Evelyn should just let it go and let the haters hate.

  7. Robert says:

    The show sucks.

  8. Tee lady says:

Well well the way I see it is eve and tami is running the he’ll out. Seriously this is not call for at all. She got so much hate build up against Jen for some bs. Eve sleep with tami husband and Now they are bff WTF kinda shit is that. I’m shock at how tami is all up in eve ass this season tami don’t know if she like Jen or not tami sit your ass down please. Shaunie I don’t even like your fake ass point Blank period because your sneaky and underhanded at least eve and tami are all out with theirs you talk to slick out the mouth and when shit jump off you sitting there with your ugly ass nose looking like wowwww. cut it out it’s not a good look. As far as the other girls they are okay I go bk and forth with Kenya but I love Jen bougie ass she has her own style and keeps it classy team jen

  9. Amber Gantt says:

Tammi is very stupid because no one is going to let some one call them out there name and not say nothing about it. She got the right to tell Royce about what happen and that is a part of bullying if she can talk about Kesha to the other ladies and Kesha can’t say how she felt about being called a bitch.Tammi thought that it was so funny to see Eve. hit Jen in the head with the purse I didn’t see shit funny
