In this sneak peek footage from today’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Adrienne Maloof finally comes face to face with Brandi Glanville! Brandi brings up Adrienne Maloof’s Chef/friend Bernie up and Adrienne isn’t very pleased that Bernie’s name is brought up! Check out her reaction below
I don’t really understand how Adrienne can deny something when lawyers are being involved. Adrienne wants an apology and Brandi says she apologized. The two are going back and forth and not much really makes any sense. Who’s side are you on? Team Adrienne or Brandi? Who’s lying here?

This is what I find curious, Brandi says that lawyers are involved and that she has spend X amount of dollars, but is there a lawsuit? If there was one, it would had already been made public and so far nothing.
Maybe Brandi is not understanding that a cease and desist letter is not a lawsuit? Jeanna from OC received one from Tamra and she never spoke of lawyers or lawyer fees.
I just hope this is not one of those cases that has been embelished by Brandi.
Then again if it is just simply a cease and desist letter why hasn’t one of Brandi’s friends (Lisa & Yolanda) explain to her that she didn’t need to hire lawyers, just simply shut her mouth?
It really doesn’t matter if there was a lawsuit or Cease & Desist Letter…the point is Adrienne is claiming nothing has come via her camp…and that is a LIE….once again, Adrienne is NOT telling the truth.
Bernie (her chef) is the one going to the gossip papers; with Adrienne full KNOWLEDGE I suspect. Bernie did it with Lisa, Paul and Brandi..and for Adrienne to act as she is the victim …ONCE AGAIN is just tiresome to witness.
Side Note….Paul is suiting Bernie the Chef.
It does matter, a cease and desist letter is completely different from a formal lawsuit. A cease and desist letter doesn’t cost 10K in lawyers fees which is what Brandi claims she has spent.
Adrienne might have said that there is no lawsuit because there is none.
Until Brandi shows up the papers of the lawsuit and her receips of payment to her lawyers, I am not falling for it.
If I understand correctly, Brandi mentioned that someone from Adrienne’s staff (I am assumming bernie) is the one who contacted her on Adrienne’s behalf to attend a meeting to expose Lisa, so if Bernie is saying he didn’t contact Brandi and can prove it, then Brandi did lie about this.
Bernie might be a liar or embellisher in many different situations and I am glad that Paul is suing him just to teach him a lesson, but that doesn’t mean that he was necessarily lying in this circunstance.
I just have this feeling that Brandi embellishes circunstances in her favor to make herself the victim, but Brandi is known to do that, I am curious however that someone like Lisa is taking her at face value without asking her for any evidence. It would be nice that Lisa would have asked her for the lawsuit file so she can get some of her lawyers take a look at it. I think Lisa also knows there is no lawsuit but is just playing with the viewer’s perception of the events.
Adrienne gave an interview on January 25 saying “Why I’m suing BrandI Glanville”…! And NOW she says she is NOT suing Brandi?!! Clealy this woman has problems with honesty and being truthful.
Several things seem to be going on here: she is back peddling in an attempt to untarnish her rep; she is desperate to be in the limelight; she is beyond jealous of Brandi and wants to destroy her and any $ucce$$ Brandi is experiening.
I could continue the above list but why bother? Her issues and problems are so deep and so involved that they go far beyond what is see on RHOBH! I am certain Paul Nasiff could pen quite a book!
If the Maloof family has any business sense what so ever, they would put a muzzle on Adrienne!!!

Could you please post a link? I an very distrustful of magazine interviews, they make just about aby headline and then the interview inside doesn’t match at all the headline. I have seen it done to Teresa from RHNJ so many times that I would like to read such article myself and check if in fact Adrienne used those exact words.
Yes, Adrienne definitely has problems telling the truth. She smugly said at Mauricio’s party “That’s a lawsuit” after Kim talked to her. Also, didn’t Brandi say that Adrienne’s lawyer was THREATENING to sue Brandi if she didn’t sign that piece of paper to never talk about Adrienne’s family….but Brandi said she would not be bullied into signing it?
I am team Brandi, so this is not a defense of Adrienne…she isn’t NOW saying she isn’t suing Brandi. This was filmed months ago. Housewives aren’t in real time. I think people forget this and it confuses their arguments.

For starters Brandi decided not to sign it because she said that she wouldn’t be able to comply with it. I guess the book and the magazines and all the smack Brandi keeps talking about the Maloofs keeps her hot for the moment. Let’s be realistic, besides this Adrienne drama and constantly bashing her ex and his wife, what else she has tot talk about?
She didn’t sign the letter and lawyered up because she knows that down the road things can get uglier, if she insists on the subject.
When Marc Anthony cheated on his wife Dayanara, JLO hit her with a C&D and she was never able to speak about the affair and the hell that JLo & Marc put her through. She did write a book, about how to move on after such a bad betrayal. Not name calling or mentioning names. Was very well put together. Leads me to think that LR and Eddie just want the publicity. Otherwise, they would have shut her mouth by now and her book wouldn’t be talking about them period. This is what Adrienne is trying to do. Make her stop talking about her and her family not suing her.

Brandi is staying relevant through others. Mostly Adrienne right now. Not that Adrienne hasn’t caused her own bad press with Paul and the divorce, but this whole issue of a non-existent lawsuit is ridiculous. Most people still do not understand a C&D is not a lawsuit.
I really don’t think B. knows the difference btw C&D and a law suit. And knowing Lisa by now, I don’t believe she made Brandi to understand the difference. If anything, I beleive Lisa goad B. on and on against A. I really don’t believe Brandi is a mean girl. She is just stupid and thinks it’s cute when she goes off with “FU” on anything that she can’t handle like a grown up.

I agree. I had to send a cease and desist letter out once to a horrible drunken liar who was spreading crap about me. I found a sample online and customized it and sent it out and advised that the next step is for me to sue. I guess we will probably never know why Brandi had to spend all that money for a lawyer?? if there was no lawsuit to defend, why would a lawyer charge thousands of dollars to Brandi? Something not adding up here.

Yes, I’m sure your downloaded letter from Lawyers r Us would carry the same weight as a letter from a high powered firm that Adrienne has on retainer.
I am sure the legal fees were more about how to proceed with a coworker that Brandi is contractually obligated to interact with than the actual letter itself. This letter would affect more than the “surrogacy secret”.It would impact B’s ability to earn a living on RHOBH?

Well it was effective cuz it shut the drunk up. And i have spent 25 yrs with lawyers so i knew exactly what had to be done. I get a lot of input but dont want to have one of them waste time on that bs. I dont know why bravos lawyers didnt get involved on this type of thing but maybe they did..
I keep hearing Brandi say “You don’t know what they did to me” Maybe she has 10K in legal fees because she was trying to find a reason to sue Adrienne and Paul. I keep waiting for her say exactly what they did to her but so far nothing has been exposed.

RHNJ had a g=huge lawsuit in the Dominican Rebublic and I am sure there was a gag order for all parties involved. Did you see any of them talking aboutit? I didn’t
Even though it was the huge elephant in the room during last season, all of them understood that is they chose to talk about it, they would be legally liable for it so they (as dumb as some of them are) chose not to go there.
Brandi is not dumb, she plays one when it is convenient to her, but in this case I think that if she decided to talk her mind, more power to her, just keep shedding the money for legal bills.

There was no gag order. An order of suppression would be filed in the court. The C&D requested a waiver that would contractually stop Brandi from speaking to about the Maloof’s which she said she never signed.

I think that was Adrienne’s intent right there.
No one know that answer. Unless you see the waiver restriction. You can only suppress speech of this nature by contract. It would be limited in scope otherwise it would illusory (meaning illegal). In fact a waiver restriction on perfectly legal speech is illusory by itself. No matter what she signed she could still say what she wanted regardless of a signed waiver because there was no consideration given and no suing would not be adequate consideration.
Not that you asked or wanted only explaining the position. When you have the legal right to speech without consideration curtailing it the waiver would be void.

That could be the case. She might have and likely did have in her response letter issues for a counter claim so there were responses letters flying. But, anyone would tell her that is a total waste of time.

Yeah the problem with Aid trying to sue Brandi(allegedly) is that it is only Liable if what she said wasn’t true… which we all know isn’t the case so I am also not following where money would have to be spent on lawyers but I have also never seen Brandi caught in a lie so I am a little confused by all this maybe we’ll get an answer at the reunion.

Deb V brandi did say what adrienne and paul did to her. adrienne especially tried to get brandi to join forces wih her, camille and kyle to attack lisa at the reunion and then when she wouldn’t that is when adrienne and her dirty chef went on a hate campaign against her. adrienne thought she can control brandi like how she controls everyone else but she definitely met her match. brandi isn’t afraid to fight back even though it can cost her money.

I understand that Brandi said she was asked to conspire against Lisa and she refused. What I am asking is what did they really do to her and if it was that egregious why doesn’t she just spill the beans. She would have more credibility if she told how she was personally harmed than to dwell on parts of Adrienne’s life that has nothing to do with her. Brandi said that Adrienne tried to prevent her from becoming a full-time cast member on the show despite the fact that she really needs the job. That might be one of the reasons Brandi is so resentful of Adrienne.
I would like to see the corroborated my another lady. I heard that from Brandi as well but as of yet not one has backed up that story.

I saw the YouTube from Brandi but Kyle, Adrienne, Kim, Lisa have not corroborated it. I have googled it. I want the source to be someone disclosed otherwise it is just like the US weekly story with undisclosed sources.

Brandi got a letter from Adrienne’s lawyer, and is taking that as a sign that she is being sued. Which is fair. Adrienne clearly thinks there is a major difference.
Interesting – remember the episode where Adrienne finds out what Brandi said about her surrogacy? In her interview she says “Brandi doesn’t care about reputation. She certainly doesn’t care about my reputation, her reputation.” That is a sign that Adrienne is more UPSET about how she will be PERCEIVED rather than the secret “destroying” her marriage/family.

I understand her initial confusion if this really is the first time she has ever been involved in any legal case. She could have asked Lisa and her lawyer would have let her know what to do and how a C&D letter is not a lawsuit and she wouldn’t have had to pay but around 300 dollars for initial consultation. If a crooked lawyer scammed her out of 10K she should be going after the lawyer not Adrienne.
Brandi is basically blaming Adriene for the fact that she was irresponsible and immature enough to open her mouth about a private family situation and spilled it for the world to hear, forgetting that the only one who is in control of her own mouth is Brandi, nobody twisted her arm to say what she did.

I say there is no way that there is a lawsuit and somehow it has gone undetected to all the media. Every single lawsuit about these HW or their spouses have been published and printed, reprinted and read ad nauseum.
How come there is a lawsuit from Adrienne against Brandi and so far nobody has been able to publish the extend of such lawsuit. Have there been any depositions? have there been some supoenas for the witnesses?
Is this lawsuit still going? so far no answers.
I just hope Brandi is not taking advantage of her likeability to pretend she is being sued when all she has received is a C&D letter, that would be awful and manipulative.
Lexy, I agree that there was no lawsuit. It is both crazy for Adrienne to deny her lawyers ever contacted Brandi and it is crazy that Brandi would walk around crying “SHE’S SUING ME!” when it is only a C&D (her lawyer could have explained the difference to her pretty quickly).
I’m pretty sure this is no different than Tamra Barney giving Jeana Kough a C&D letter except that at least she had the balls to do it herself while throwing a glass of wine in her face instead of going through her lawyer, LOL.

It wathed it twice & appears that Adranne is the one who brought up Bernie’s name, not Brandi….. I think this convo’ was all encouraged/set up by Bravo producers to give Adrianne some camera time…….

It’s funny…in this thread, Adrienne is so virtuous and a poor victim of Brandi. In the Bernie threads are more accurate statements to her character.
If I received legal papers I would use the term “sue” also even if technically not correct because I would still need to retain my own attorney to read over the papers.
If Lisa’s show Vanderpump Rules was on MTV it would be the biggest hit. Bravo is the wrong audience for it.
Jesus. Adrienne chose a C and D and threats of a lawsuit knowing BG had no means to fight. BG didn’t just get served with a C&D but an attempt to sign an agreement that does not protect her. AM also tried to strong arm BG into ambushing Lisa at the reunion and via twitter. BG refused. Even Camille later admitted this. AM cries wolf when BG reveals a truth known to the group on REALITY TV but then defames BG in a FAR worse and potentially disturbing fashion. She did the same prior to Lisa, and later to Paul. Then, she has Chef Dumbo rant all over the place about anyone AM does not like. Already, Paul has been cleared of AM’s machinations with the kids with the court siding with him. UNLIKE AM, Paul did not use the tabloids to drag AM through the mud no matter how dirty she played with him. AM is also dating some ex addict, unemployed, loser who has a history of violence – is that really right the choice as a mother? Come now, why does Adrienne play Queen Bee and expect everyone else to bow down blindfolded. She’s just a Lady Macbeth.
As far as the relevance issue, BG’s only tactic is being a straightshooter even when it shoots her in the foot. She needs this show to support kids and launch a new life. If you think the other ladies aren’t on this show for “relevance” you are bullshizzing yourself. It might be for business or narcissism or both, but NO ONE can say they are on this show just for kicks and giggles. I do think some are so full of self love they are surprised when the audience turns on them. At any rate, I’d rather deal with an f-bombing straightshooter than a liar and schemer masked as a smiling polite society maven.
