RHONY Recap: You Want To What Me In Where?!
Finally! It’s about time The Real Housewives of New York City gets interesting! Looks like tons of drama is ready to unfold and I am ready for it! So let’s talk Monday’s episode!
Ah. So Sonja thought it was a good idea to bring Ramona along to the meeting regarding Sonja’s toaster and failed to tell Heather. I get Ramona knows her stuff as well but I thought it was a bit inappropriate to bring Ramona knowing Heather and Ramona don’t get along, knowing Ramona is going to make a million comments that are all going to be negative. You saw Ramona answer her phone during the meeting proving she was just trying to tick Heather off.
I’m getting irritated with Ramona. She continues to say how annoying it is that Aviva brings up her ex Harry but why does Ramona care? It’s not like Aviva is EVER saying anything bad about her ex and why is it okay for Ramona to bring up Harry but when Aviva brings him up-Ramona freaks out. Let’s not forget Aviva and Harry share a child together. Get over it, Ramona! If she’s bashing him, that’s one thing but she’s always ever talking highly about him on the episodes.
I personally didn’t find it a big deal that LuAnn said ‘American Indian’ at the dinner table, she does have it in her and I just think Carole already has an issue with her so anything LuAnn says, Carole’s going to blow up.
Everyone goes out for dinner and Ramona’s husband Mario feels the need to call out Jacques for the whole wine situation. Mario believes Jacques was trying to set up Ramona. Jacques denies this. I think it was nice of Mario to stick up for his lady and call out Jacques but I think they could have done it man to man without the audience!
Well well well! We finally meet Harry Dubin! And he seem’s pretty damn awesome! I started understanding the hype watching him. He definitely looks like a charmer!
Sonja and Heather have another meeting. This time Ramona is a no show while LuAnn is! No one should be coming to the meetings and these two seem like they can’t agree on anything! I think it’s best if they don’t work together.
Side note: In Sonja’s words, Heather’s husband is so effing hot!

I really have to say i know a lot of people dislike Luann but i have to say that ramona and mario took that stupid wine joke too far. I mean they waited until they are in a public dinner and choose to call him out? They have no class and to be honest Mario is a dog and always does dumb shit like that in crowds never face to face. Jack handled that with grace if you ask me.
I SO AGREE AS WELL, I can’t stand that everytime its “PARTY TIME” for that ROMAMA, god help them. Than you have the somewhat ass kisses Sonja god please help her, really now! I mean I feel everything has to do is Drinking, an more Drinking. Now I know why ROMAMA has a WINE IN HER NAME.

Thought it was ridiculous for Heather to get huffy about Sonja bringing Ramona, when Heather just brought Luanne. Atleast Sonja was able to handle herself, unlike Heather.
Ramona is Sonja’s best friend and she’s also a very successful business woman. It’s only natural for Sonja to want to bring her along and get her opinion. If Heather can’t deal with people she doesn’t care for, it doesn’t say much for her as a business woman. Heather needed to put aside her personal feelings and concentrate on the task at hand. Heather is so annoying! lol

I agree and think Sonja was making valid points but Heather wasn’t willing to listen to them. She seems annoyed at Sonja for even questioning her and soon lost patience. I’d never do business with that freaky fake smiling clown.
People in the business world are like that. They are high pressure sales teams that want to sell their idea. Although heather could have been more open to the idea keep in mind she is doing this for free.
WHO ARE U TALKING ABOUT ? I REALLY HOPE IT’S NO THAT NO GOOD SONJA, SHE’S NOTHING. LOOK IT UP!
Heather clearly has no respect for Sonja’s opinion, nor does that brand designer. Sonja made clear at the last meeting that she wanted the J to stand out, though we didn’t hear her reasoning, we heard her say it several times. They give her bland, unimaginative bit of text. It’s total BS without any thought behind it. She is right to want her J to be distinctive given how bad people are will spelling and the many ways her name can be spelled, but they just want to steamroll over her good sense.
Heather seems to take Sonja’s concerns about her own business personally – as though Sonja by asking advice is required to swallow every bit of it.
Daisy I agree! I have not really got into liking Heather at all yet this season. I feel like she came on with a chip on her shoulder and I have to say I think Ramona called it with her saying she was trying to be someone she is not. Like Ramona or not, she is a very successful businesswoman and knows her stuff! While Im a little disappointed with some little things with her, I still like her and she definitely adds flare to this show!
I’m a Ramona fan, tho this year she is really testing me lol. But HEATHER is one sweet pain in the ASS. What a self-centered egomaniac!! If she agreed to help Sonja FOR FREE, then she should do just that. Just because someone isn’t paying you, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t treat them with respect. I thought Sonja was 100% right when she said that Heather was trying to weasel out of it because Sonja wasn’t thrilled with Heather’s (weak) ideas.

Im so not liking her. I was excited to have a fresh one in the bunch, but Im not caring much for her or Aviva. I love being on the Ramonacoaster, lol. I hate that she is doing some not so great things here and there but hey, she is human. For the most part out of everyone thats been on RHONY, she has kept herself pretty much the same from season 1.

I think I like Aviva because she at least seems sane lol. Hate that she and Ramona are gonna get into it, because I think they could be good friends, but Aviva has to learn to speak up if Ramona (or anyone) says something that bothers her. George on the other hand is a PIG and should never appear on RHONY ever again!
If someone is doing this for free, which Heather was then I would have given her more deference. I bought Ramona should not have taken a call during the presentation. It is very unprofessional.
Also, Sonja did sign-off on the logo, but that doesn’t mean she needs to go with it. I do understand Heather’s point this is not packaging yet because there are no orders. They need a prototype only because y the time contract negotiations are done they will settle on a packaging for the box. The contract negotiation with the vendor takes at least several weeks.
I think Ramona was just a nuisance and branding she is all over the place. Bethenny was right in S2 that Ramona has too many logos and Marks under her umbrella to create a discernible brand. I do think Heather’s approach was more focused, but that does not mean Sonja can’t change her mind.

-I applaud Mario calling Jacques out on the trick he played on Ramona. He didn’t pull any punches, but he did make Jacques squirm and it was clear he was lying.
-Luann was being insensitive, although I think her intention was to be funny.
-We finally get to see the Harry everybody has been talking about. Frankly I was disappointed. He’s a chubby middle aged balding man with a double chin. Sorry but I didn’t find him attractive in the least. Perhaps his charms lie elsewhere.
I agree i do think Mario should have stood up for Ramona (i mean since she only have balls when standing up to the women) but i really think a dinner with a large group of friends was tacky he made everyone else their feel uncomfortable. I also have to say that Jacques is a sommelier which means he literally when to wine collage i don’t think he meant anything malicious by the wine game but i guess we will never know
I don’t think it was tacky for Mario to bring up the incident in a group of friends. What Jacques and Luann did was tacky. Mario was simply calling him out on it and letting him know not to ever pull that kind of crap again. Frankly the only thing that made it tacky was that Luann ran away because she knew what she and Jacques had done was wrong and neither one of them were decent enough to admit it and apologize.
True Daisy, and I don’t think Mario sees Jacques outside of these Bravo get togethers. Everyone calls everyone else out wherever they want, so it should not be a problem for Mario to do it! I think that its never the right time or place when you are being filmed, so you have to take the time and chance when you get it.
love Mario and I was so happy that he called Jacques out on his BS. Luann and Jacques were hoping to embarrass Ramona, so Mario decided to do the same to Jacques. GOOD FOR MARIO
Actually, it is as if it is always the time and place while filming to call people out, talk behind their backs, gossip, provoke one another -everything that creates drama. I think they have all come to expect it by now and look for opportunities to do it. Little is kept sacred and there is little expectation of privacy on these reality shows…just the way it is.
And, Aviva needs to get daddy George way far away from filming; what a disgusting embarrassment that man is.

I agree! I found it very interesting that LuLu ran away when Mario brought up the wine party.
I know! It’s so terrible to demand a public apology when someone tries to make a fool of you in public. Everyone who sets someone up at a party in front of dozens of people deserves to be privately challenged for their behavior and spared the indignity of a public reprimand.
i know!! i didnt find him attractive either. i was wondering why all the women were talking about him as if he was some greek god. he’s a plain looking man. i don’t know what his personality is like but i’m guessing he must be really charming because that could only explain why he is able to make women drool over him.
BTW i loved this episode for the simple reason that after jingle bells the guy screams into the mic “I wanna F*ck u in the ass” and how they all screamed love it!
Luann should apologize for that since she hired them. But then again the Countess never says she’s sorry.
Apologize for what it was fricken hilarious and it was all adults there. they were all laughing. I for one thought it was hilarious.

With every episode I am more convinced that SonJa and Ramona are trash, trash, trash. Funny how much Ramona was sucking up to George on the episode.

I thin its funny how much sucking up to Ramona Aviva has done, then changes her tune in a blink of an eye.
Aviva needs to lighten up a little bit more. She’s starting to get on my nerves with her friend jumping. I wonder why she came on the show when clearly she seems uncomfortable and self conscious of the camera’s.
I think Aviva does bring up Harry a lot. Why bring him up at dinner out of the blue? Even if they do have a child together.
I never thought I’d hate anyone more than I hated LuAnn until Heather came along.
I never thought I could hate anyone as much as Jill Zarin or LuAnn but Heather is disgusting, conceited and very selfish. Can’t stand her or that fake slapped on smile.
