RHONY Recap: Pirate Booty Call
The ladies are leaving the Big Apple and off to St. Barths! This episode was definitely a filler episode. Not much occurred until the last few minutes. All the women minus Aviva arrive to the island and settle into their gorgeous villa. Aviva was not joking about the small plane. They are literally gliding into this island on the tiniest plane I’ve ever seen. Ramona immediately starts with the antics and basically demands the master suite in the house. Carole had the perfect analogy about Ramona. Sometimes you have to give the child the lollipop to shut them up! As expected, Sonja is going to be her roomie for the duration of their trip. Carole and Heather opt to stay in a bungalow away from the main house which seems to be the smart thing to do given Heather and Ramona’s track record so far! Bicker, bicker, bicker.
It’s dinner time and the toaster over drama is rehashed yet again. Sonja and Heather start to go at it, with Ramona chiming in, but Heather does not dwell on it and they quickly drop that issue. Carole’s boyfriend Russ arrives and meets some of the ladies for the first time ever. Sonja and Ramona stress that they don’t want to embarrass themselves, but they end up doing just that! You gotta love when alcohol is involved with these two.
In the morning, the Housewives head to the beach for a day out and Ramona complains about Russ showing up because then she could have brought Mario to what she thought was a “girls trip”. Carole looks like she could not care less! Sonja takes the women to Tom’s Beach, where they lay out and the shots of banana rum start pouring which already seems like a recipe for disaster. Later that evening, Sonja plans a dinner for the ladies (isn’t this Carole’s trip?) at Le Tit St. Barth’s where we get to meet Tomas, the Johnny Depp look-a-like. Luann can’t seem to stop talking about him. A few shots later, the ladies are in full on pirate costumes dancing on tables. Luann can’t seem to stay away from Tomas and is seen flirting with him throughout the night. It’s clear that Tomas has that something that the Countess gravitates towards!
The next morning Heather and Luann are recapping the night and it turns out Luann stayed out a little too late night. Heather and Carole explain that they heard Luann and other male French voices in the middle of the night, but Luann keeps telling everyone, including Jacques when she calls him on the phone, that she ran into Italian friends and that is the reason why she was out so late. Apparently Luann thinks her cast mates are dumb enough to not know the difference between what French and Italian sound like!
Aviva is on video chat with Heather and Carole and informs them that Reid will
bring her to the island for the weekend. Ramona and Sonja are irritated that Aviva will bring her husband because it will keep them from bonding if a husband is present. Sonja brings up the men’s voices that were heard last night and Luann perpetuates her lie, now saying that she had a “whole group” of old Italian friends over while everyone was passed out. Heather is feeling particularly awkward because she knows for a fact that Tomas is the one who was in the house with Luann.
Keeping up with the shady-phone-call trend on Bravo, Luann gets on the phone and starts speaking in French telling someone that Tomas cannot say he was with Luann last night. SKETCHY! Do these people forget that they are mic-ed and everything they say is recorded? We all know Bravo will not hesitate to anything that incriminates any of these people. Luann admits to a woman named Cat that she brought a guy over but reiterates that Tomas should not say he was with her. Basically, Luann is asking this woman not to expose her. Tomas shows up to a party at the women’s villa, which is just awkward for everyone because they all know the truth, but have been told a lie by Luann all day and no one has called her out on it yet.
We are left hanging to see what happens until next week. Ramona opens her mouth and confronts Tomas about his night with Luann. Aviva braves the small plane and joins the crew in St. Barths! Do you think Luann cheated and had a fling with Tomas? How do you feel about her lying to her friends about who she had brought home the night before?

I love that they were having a good time, but to me it was over the top for their ages. I guess they are grasping to hold on to their youth trying to act like college girls. Louann has some “splaining to do”.

That was a great episode. I wonder if Luman will write a new book about sneaking around an island with a french boy without getting caught. Too bad she got caught red handed. She thinks she is soooo much better than everyone else. Loved it!

Agreed! And Luann got pissed when Ramona said both Luann and her husband cheated throughout their marriage and she denied it. Yet she tells her friend Cat that she hasn’t changed…hmmm.
you’re never too old to have fun. life is short and the ladies are all beautiful and have great bodies. i would love to look like any of them. they were there to have fun and they sure did. good for them.
on the other hand luann forget to write another chapter in her ettiquette book. there has to be a section about sneaking in another man into your room and lying about it.
When you have a microphone on, the castmates know what happened, and you are on tv ! It was one of the more fun episodes lately though!!
yeah i agree it was a fun episode and luann sneaking in with a man and lying about her “italian friends” made it more entertaining. it’s all a mystery and i’m loving it. i thought it was funny when carole said she heard two mens voices and realized one of them was luann’s. that was hilarious.

You must have missed the part where they all agreed to plan one day of the trip and that was Sonja’s day.
I just have to say that was THE best episode of any housewives I have seen in years! It was funny with a lil drama and all the girls get along for the most part! So refreshing after watching new jersey the night before! I totally laughed my butt off on and off thru the entire episode! The whole situation with LuAnn was GREAT!!! How brillant it was caught on camera!! The chemisty between the girls was really nice. They may not all be best friends but they were all easily getting along!!!! Great great tv last night!!!_

She denied on her blog about an affair, but she told her friend on the phone, you know how I am, I never change. I believe she sleeps around and probably has an arrangement with her boyfriend.
You think Jacques knows about her cheating (before the episode aired, I mean)? I think she and her husband had an arrangement, but I’m not so sure about Jacques.
Ha! I don’t care how crazy Ramona can be sometimes.. Lumann at this point has no right EVER to school anyone on behavior or class after last night. And Heather was pretty good about calling her lying hiney out about the whole little situation! Loved that sneaky phone call too- “he was never here with me last night”. I think the LuAnn-Tomas “affair” was all a setup by Bravo & LuAnn to insert some drama into her storyline since she really has nothing else going on. She’s still with Jacques currently anyway.

I completely disagree. She is NOT that good of an actress and she looked like she was about to crawl out of her skin. Thomas looked as if he wanted to run out the door when Ramona kept questioning him. I think that LuAnn and the HW’s have gotten away with hiding parts of their lives for so long and now Bravo is all about exposing it. I am holding out hope that they do the same for the jersey reunion and Bring back old Danielle for a dose of truth for the viewers about Melissa and Kathy.
Just saw the episode. It was quite … erm … boring? I don’t understand the logic LuAnn is using. She’s lying to the other Housewives while being filmed because … ? It was obviously going to be aired. What was the point of lying to them? Is she that stupid?
