Status on MEHOG WARRANT:
#rhonj FACTS: Melissa Gorga Shoplifting Case was dismissed BECAUSE of a 15th Circuit Judicial Circuit Administrative Order #4.605 and #4.6.25 = in 2008 a judicial order which basically states a misdemeanor case prior to 2008 with no activity on it for 5 years can be dismissed by a simple administrative order. A phone to the Palm Beach County Courthouse apprising them to activate this administrative order is all it would have taken to have Melissa Gorga case dismissed Oct 10, 2012.
Anyone stating this case was resolved years ago and the open arrest warrant was a clerical error is misinformed. I checked that to…
Bottom line is Melissa Gorga was arrested for shoplifting and agreed to appear in court to answer to the charges. Melissa failed to honor her word to the judge and the judge issued a bench warrant for her arrest. The store Melissa Shoplifted at has since been sold to Macy’s. No complaining witness.
Melissa evades being held responsible because of TIME. Moral of the story is if you get caught breaking the law in Florida…avoid detection for 5 years = then you get to have a clean record and can not be held accountable for your actions.

Was this already talked about? The “news editor” is printing a story when she didn’t even talk to the main character allegedly involved: Teresa. Last time I checked, actual news didn’t blindly quote unreliable sources without checking for hmm… facts, first.
Now we all now what Jac accomplished this afternoon. Another story about ” Teresa said this and Teresa did that”. All BS.
1st. The senior Gorga’t tried to help POS Joey by adding him to the PAID OFF home so he could use it a coladeral for a laon. POS Joey sold the home and now he is paying for the parents to rent a place. He used all the money, over $500K to build his present home on Pond.
Next, Teresa tried to add on to her home so that her parents could live there. Teresa could help with her dad and her mom could help her with the girls. POS Joey had one of his building inspectors shut down the building and the permit.
As much as I hate Lookers, Joey is just as bad. These are HIS parents. If he wants ta relationship than he needs to put out the effort. He has done nothing to help with Teresa since the taping of the first show. It has all been Teresa going to him. His has no contract with his nieces at all. Not even a card.
My guess is, you wont have to wait to long. With all the craziness Tre is involved in and many of her followers rewarding her over the top ridiculous behavior, my guess is you’ll be able to go to any blog at any given time for a negative story and/or comments.
I remember this episode. Kathy has implied that by opening a restaurant Tre would be removing herself from her children, she said something like we thought about it but i didn’t want to take that much time away from my kids, a nasty way of saying Tre was putting her career before her kids if she did this.
Or she was talking about herself, but egomaniac Tre of course made it out to be about her.
Yeah you’re right Teresa could have just blown that off but, teresa knows her cousin and I’m sure she knew it was a dig. There are certain people that think they are being slick and think just because they say something with a smile it wasn’t an insult. Kathy happens to be that person.
They all make digs at each other disguised as “i was talking about me” or “i didn’t mean it as an insult” or my favorite “that was editing”.
If you’re going to call that dig, which it probably was, you have to admit they all, including Tre, do it. These digs no longer surprise me, they’re par for the course.
Ya, they all do it. But to have an entire cast doing it to one person is a bit much to watch. Ive said all season that these fools ave us NO CHOICE but to be Teresa fans. What they have done to her is ridiculous!

There are choices you KNOW you have when are an adult – it would have been easy to say “opening the rest. just wouldn’t work for us right now” …period. when you state specific reasons such as not wanting to take time from your kids, then the implication is there automatically it would take time away from anyone’s kids, so it is better to just not go there. All of these women do this all the time and they really know how to push one another’s buttons — and do it regularly!

What the clip validates to me is that Teresa is very entertaining with her intense facial expressions, gestures and voice; whether you love or hate her you can’t not pay attention as her character is that commanding. She is a natural character and that’s exactly what makes for memorable TV.

The thing with Kathy and Melissa is that they are both trying to appear as something they’re not. Melissa is trying to act talented and innocent while Kathy is trying to look relevant and like one of the “cool kids”. IMO neither is succeeding.

JPG, let’s take your suggestion and go with it. Let’s say Teresa decides not to come back for season 5. What exactly would this show be about in that case? Kathy’s QVC endeavors which – let’s be honest here – are going to be mediocre at best? Caroline’s kids for a THIRD season pushing their BLK water? Lauren continuing to be miserable about her weight even after having surgical enhancement? Melissa performing at flea markets and amusement parks while her husband continues to get drunk and expose his penis? Or how about Jacqueline…is she truly going to USE her autistic child as her story line? Because that is sickening. Bravo is not known for handling sensitive situations with tact and decorum. It likes exploitation for ratings.
Is THIS what the show will be about? Bravo wants drama; we all know this. None of these are dramatic enough to keep the show afloat. The truth is, at this point nothing else on the show is interesting enough without Teresa. Whether you love her or hate her, that’s just the way it is and it’s because Bravo made it that way. Bravo made a fatal mistake bringing on two cast members whose ONLY relevance was the fact that they are related to Teresa. Because without Teresa, those two cast members are completely disposable. They know it and Bravo knows it. The other huge mistake Bravo made was allowing a story line that put Teresa at the center of the conflict. Because again, with her out of the conflict or off the show completely, there is no show.
This was a sick, petty, self-motivated move on Andy Cohen’s part because he didn’t like the fact that Joe Giudice made a (borderline) homophobic remark FOR WHICH HE APOLOGIZED during season 1. Because of this he is punishing Teresa over and over again, relentlessly. Never mind the fact that others on the show have made similar comments. He lets them get away with it because Joe Giudice was the FIRST one and Andy has a point to prove, an example to make. His hatred of the Giudices started in 2008 and he is blinded by it. And he has ruined his show because of it.
It is Andy Cohen who deserves to lose his job, not Teresa.

I hate to burst everyone’s bubble, but all of the Housewives have been invited back for Season 5, including Kathy. They are also going to add 2 new housewives into the mix. The only one on the fence about returning for another season is Caroline, but I don’t think “Big Red” is going anywhere.
I read Caroline bought out the rest of her contract. Kathy will be like a part time housewife, whatever that means.

Yeah, seems like a normal reaction to what’s going on on that stage. It’s like a bizzaro world/ alternate reality where four people are trying to convince her the sky really is green and she’s the crazy one for thinking it’s blue.
I agree with you. I was reading a lot of tweets in twitter with ppl saying she was crazy but when you take into consideration the fact that she’s been dealing with these ppl and their lies and back stabbing all this time I think it would make anyone loose it a bit to be honest
After watching two seasons of “Kathy” it became apparent that Teresa wasn’t that fond of her – ever. The Old School attributes that Kathy talks about are practiced by Teresa not Kathy. Teresa may be crazy but Kathy is a disrespectful, mean spirited, jealous, nasty snake. IMO, we are seeing the real Kathy at the reunion! Bake all the desserts you want Katfish – cause that is as close as you are ever going to get to the Bravo pie.
It’s true, Teresa seems much more old-school than Kathy. Hot tub parties with whippets? Accepting your husbands filthy, mean mouth? Talking trash about family members? These aren’t old-school activities.
So Bravo took all the clips of over 10 plus hours of the Teresa bashing and put her reactions together. Considering what each one of them had to say about Teresa, Juicy and Teresa’s parents I think Teresa was very calm. Did you see Andy’s face when Teresa was at the table being thankful for getting “crazy” out of her life? He was laughing and so was Teresa. If I had a friend as crazy as Jac I would be so thankful to have her out of my life as well.
I had high hopes Kathy would give Tre a reason to trust her but she never did. Always Tre bashing for tv time.

@September24 – I heard that she submitted all of the required paperwork, to attempt, to get the felony charges and warrant dismissed.
I haven’t seen anything saying that it was agreed to, by the courts in Fla.

I have never defended Juicy Joe. If he cheats on Teresa and she decides to stay with him, that is her problem.
A cannoli kit has got to be the dumbest idea possible. Why:
First, as I’m in the NY tri-state area, Italian bakeries are so numerous that if I threw a rock in any given neighborhood, I could hit three Ina two-block radius.
Second, the bakeries are a local business. And, I’m honored to patronize them with my in-person purchase. Sorry QVC, but while you might tempt me to buy a toaster at 2 am, selling food over TV doesn’t cut it.
Third, they’re inexpensive. Why would I want to buy a do-it-myself kit when a regular cannoli is $1.50 and a mini-cannoli is only eighty-five cents?
Fourth, they’re convenient, and already made. Why buy a cannoli kit when I can turn up to a dinner party with a dozen in a box?
There’s my reasons. As for Kathy… this deal is scraping the Z-end of the endorsements out there, isn’t it? Sure ain’t Skinny Italian.

I know! When I first heard about it, I thought it wasn’t a great idea. But when I wrote the post above (as well as below), I really think this cannoli kit isn’t going to have Tre’s level of success. Really unlikely.
Also, Cake Boss (Carlo’s Bakery) is getting ready to ship coast to coast. If somebody in the boonies wanted to try a cannoli, they could buy a quality one from him. Nobody wants Kathy’s tuna fish cannoli except Rich.

I would gladly try his- he’s an old-school pro with years of expertise in the biz. I trust his brand as a baker, and an Italian one.
I think this product is a very desperate attempt to storm some beaches for a Teresa-like level of success, and Kathy is probably hoping that QVC will help her access millions of people.
Here’s what I think are problems:
1. It’s only ONE product. Where Teresa came out with a cookbook promoting a whole line of recipes, Kathy only has one item.
2. What if the customer doesn’t like cannoli? She has no tiramisu or limoncello kits. It’s all or nothing, and this may fail because cannoli does not look as regular as a piece of cake.
3. Geographically speaking, who is going to buy this in the US?
We can theorize that fans in NJ, Pennsylvania, and maybe NY/CT. But, as there are tons of Italian bakeries here, who is really going to phone QVC if they live three blocks from two Italian bakeries?
Maybe fans further down the East coast- Maryland, Washington DC, or Virginia. But, DC is cosmopolitan enough to have tons of Italian bakeries too. And the further South you go, they’re not so Italian in their choice of dessert, and if they are, they’ll have it after dinner at their Italian restaurant. I could be wrong, but cannoli does not seem like an immediate choice down there.
So there’s the rest of the country- the Midwest, or the West Coast. Can we predict huge orders here? I’m not aware if she has West coast fans.
4. Does she have the charisma to sell, sell, sell? I don’t think she’s got it, nor is she a fully recognized celebrity who can command, say, Tori Spelling’s sales figures, or even Ramona Singer’s (who has a lifetime’s worth of experience behind her jewelry, and even behind her wine).
5. A cannoli kit does not look like a luxury item, or even a useful gift. I would buy something from QVC if it seems cool- a better cordless phone, a nicer coffee maker, or even jewelry from Ramona Singer. I have a hard time seeing a rationale for buying do-it-myself cannoli- it’s not fancy, it doesn’t even seem useful.
I also think that its December debut is a bit silly. If I believed in my product and wanted to sell as much as possible, I would have pushed for an earlier release- November, right after Halloween, so I could use Thanksgiving as pre-buzz for awesome Christmas and New Year sales. Especially since she’s food, and people socialize a great deal between Halloween and New Year.
ANYWAY, there’s all of my opinion. I think she is better off launching herself as a catering company first, then evolving as a frozen dessert brand in grocery stores. I just don’t see the logic of going to QVC with just one product.
Lexistential, totally agree with this. I, too live in the NY metro area and I come from an Italian family. So personally I have no use for a cannoli kit as I could make them from scratch if I REALLY wanted to put that much effort and money into it. But I’d much rather drive literally ONE minute to any of several Italian bakeries in my town.
And I agree with your geographic breakdown. The parts of the country that are interested in cannoli have the means to get them already or make them ourselves. Other parts of the country I suspect would have no interest. I have friends on the west coast who had no CLUE what a zeppole was until I explained it to them!! I don’t mean three people – I mean 30 spread out from San Diego to Seattle.
Exactly! People on the West coast are just going to think, “Oh, fried donut,” when you explain what a zeppole is- then, they won’t think they’ll need a zeppole because a fried donut is already available at their local food fair or trendy bakery. The need to have an Italian dessert is prevalent where a concentrated Italian community lives, and if a bakery is already present in a big city or a smaller area, people are not going to call QVC. And, the non-Italian population is gonna shrug it off.
The most interest in a cannoli is this immediate NY metro area, and it’s already available as an exquisite, pre-made treat. Who wants to do something labor intensive when the end result is cheap and down the street? (I’m in Queens, and work a block away from an Italian bakery, and going to have a frigging cannoli after writing about this so often!)
I have a feeling Kathy is desperate to hit big (and throw it in Tre’s face), hence the QVC launch of ONE product. I would think that QVC makes sense when you have a dozen things to offer and market over the course of a 30-minute sale slot, and when you’ve actually established a working business.
If she cared to become a business, Kathy would be taking the small steps and do her time networking- the Brownstone, events, food fairs- as a small catering company and grown up from there. And, she would be okay taking a few losses as she grows her business while paying her dues. But, she’s doing QVC in the hope of making a whole bunch of money and in the belief that she’s a legit enough celebrity who doesn’t have to sweat the small stuff. She’s greedy get-rich-quick and too big for standard business britches.

But yes I agree her QVC (translation: BIG audience) launch of ONE lone product makes next to no sense. It isn’t something that consumers are scrambling to buy so it’s not like there is some huge demand that she is meeting with it. And it’s not the kind of thing that you see and think “Oh! I should get one of those!” like you do with other useless items on TV (*ahem* Sham-Wow towels). A cannoli kit does not fulfill an immediate purpose in one’s life nor does it make one’s life easier. It’s just there taking up space in the cabinet. And I’m willing to bet the Laurita’s $55 million lawsuit that 60% of the country is saying “What the hell is a cannoli?”.

And this definitely wasn’t well-conceived. A cannoli kit is not a Sham-Wow, or even a guilty pleasure like a Snuggie (which, laugh as we may, is perfectly valid to buy and wear on cold days). It has no real demand or need. All it has is Kathy’s name, which compared to Tre’s commercially, is not much to stand on. This cannoli kit seems like a get-rich-quick scheme to start a big brand business.
I agree with your bet. I think a lot of the country doesn’t necessarily care what a cannoli is.
This is such a weird product- why isn’t she a gourmet ice cream, or a frozen tiramisu purveyor? And, I also wonder what kind of price point/value is here. Is it $24.99 to make half a dozen? If it’s more expensive than a bakery’s, then it’s pointless.

Quite welcome! I go to my Italian bakery for holidays, and absolutely love the ten minutes I spend there while waiting- smelling the scents, looking at trays of delicious bites, and trying a little something while my order is prepared.

I really think that Kathys problem with Tre is, When they were growing up Tre most likey she got every thing she wanted, There parents olny had her and joe..That way she’s hating on Tre so much. On one scene rosie did say she had to wear hand me down clothes.

Kathy hit me all wrong when she showed up at Caroline`s with the basket of goodies to make nice nice after the run in with Teresa over the baby.Then she made me stop and think what a damn good person she was to step in and comfort Gia at Jac`s.Now I realize she is just your everyday run of the mill bitch screaming to fight her way into a life more then likely away from Richie.Her kids are growing away just like Caroline`s.The difference is she wishes Richie would do an Albert and run away.If you have anything in your life that smells the least bit funky why do you put it on display?
I actually do have to say, I think Kathy is fantastic with children. Her kids seem to be genuinely good kids, honest, well-behaved and loving. She did a good job with them. Kathy was an angel with Gia during the field day episode. She didn’t patronize her, she comforted her quietly, acknowledged Gia’s feelings. Even going back to the Christening episode where she got Audriana out of the way. Kathy DOES try to do what is in a child’s best interest, IMO.
It is her sneaky ways with adults that ruins her projected good nature. Like how she had to take what she did with Audriana and rub it in Teresa’s face. Kathy should have shut her mouth about it. The subtext of her comment was that she was responsible and Teresa didn’t know where her kid was in a room full of chaos. That’s exactly what she meant to convey and Teresa heard it loud and clear and it hurt her.
Kathy does this ALL the time. She claims – with her breathy, calm, steady voice – that her words have been misinterpreted by Teresa who tends to yell and scream. That way it looks like Teresa is crazy and Kathy is level-headed. But it is very clear that Kathy’s words – no matter how softly she speaks them – are tiny little missiles meant to explode once they lodge into her target’s mind. Her words go unnoticed at first because of the way she says them but then you think about it and go “Hey, wait a second!” and Kathy is already walking away with that satisfied sneer on her face. She’s a snake that one. Very very calculating.
Sorry KatFish there are only a few crazies on the show and you are one of them. You are on Teresa’s show so don’t forget it. You’re no longer family so have a good life. I hope when you get on QVC my call is answered because you will be embarrassed. Go do hair, maybe you’re good at that.
