RHONJ Reunion Earns Almost 6 Million Viewers!
It’s clear Real Housewives of New Jersey is one of the most popular reality shows on TV right now! The ratings for season 4 continue to go up and according to TV By The Number, Sunday’s episode actually landed almost 6 million total viewers for the night!
Not surprised! And I’m obviously not surprised that Bravo has asked all the housewives to return! With ratings like this, why risk anything by firing any of these housewives? Whether you believe it or not, people are watching this show and loving every minute of it!

I agree, it had a long interview with an “insider” saying that Katy was not returning. I was sooooo happy, now, I find out that all the housewives are comming back. confirm your into before you blog it.
I think some will comeback as “friends” not full time housewives. I think Jaq was done, unless she agreed to exploit her sons autism. Which she may do based on her magazine cover.

Bravo built the rhonj up so that people will watch for a particular reason and then people tune in expecting one thing but instead get these inhuman, dysfunctional, shit for brains, UGLY as hell, greasy, illiterate, no talent idiots, who are using the same storyline just stirring the words in a different direction and its getting stale and old and people will eventually stop watching and getting tricked into watching these fame whores. Enough already.
That site is not all that. It copy/pastes comments thatb people write on other blogs.. It never has any named sources.
I’m a viewer and throughout the different hw seasons i have thoughts, predictions , perceptions of what i think is going on behind the scenes etc..Imagine if i started a blog and claimed my opinion was fact or came from an insider? LOL Thats how i see that blog.
I just hope on season 5, it all turns on Melissa. I believe Caroline was offered but I do believe she declined.

I think they were offered limited roles and not full housewives. I think they will bring in new girls and if it doesnt work out they wanted the old girls on standby similar to what they offered Jill Zarin!
Who styled Ursula for the reunion? That dress is horrible for her body. Even standing you can clearly see the rolls and I know it must be worse when she sits down. I don’t care how heavy or skinny a person is but if you are going to be on national TV you should really get professional help to look your best.
Kathy looks so different and I prefer her with the dark more natural hair.

Thank you! “Teresa” comes on this site and comments which is fine but my problem is that she keeps calling a human an animal name. People who resort to name calling are dismissive. They just don’t understand the person so they lower themselves and end up looking bad.
Do you regularly read the comments? There is much name calling on this and other blogs of the housewives franchise regardless of who is your fave. I’m not saying its right and I’m guilty as the next but I’m no worse than any other commenter. Some of the name calling is just as bad if not worse then calling some one the name of and animal.IMHO, for example, I’d rather you call me a horses ass then to call me a fan of Teresa Giudice! hahahahah! Ok I’m just kidding, I couldn’t resist. When I comment or reply to others I might be frustrated or irritated at the conversation that I totally disagree with but I am never mad or angry, most of the times I’m being a smart ass. So what they are saying is another season of this crap?I know I hold no weight with Bravo and they could care less if they lose one viewer.The thing is I doubt they drew those kind of #`s because the whole cast is so important.More like folks turned in to see this cast folded and put to rest.I know I watched because of the past 2 season Teresa was being treated like a dog.I wanted to see her kick some ass.
I tried to watch because I thought that Bravo had seen how upset people about 4 against one thing last year. Boy was I wrong. What I don’t understand is that I have gotten into the habit of not watching. I DVR and read all the recaps. I fast forward when I do watch. Always for the commercials. I noticed many people are doing this so they still can enjoy Teresa and her family but not have to watch the other nonsense. Even when I walked away from the TV on Sunday, I came to the blogs. Many people were saying “Let me know what’s going on. Can’t bear to watch.” So if more and more people are disgusted by the show and doing this HOW DOES THIS HELP THEM GET SPONSERS? HOw does this ratings thing work anyway? I have never known anyone with I think is a “Neilson box”, and I live a very populated and diverse area of New Jersey.
Thats exactly what i do. I DVR to avod commercials. Plus my house is so full and busy i cant sit for one programmed hour of straight TV. I always wondered if they get ratings from my recording? Anyuone know?
I worked for the neilsons for years. Yes yhour recording is counted as the show being watched. That is how they can give the ratings and that is how shows get picked up and sponsors are ecured. That’s why I don’t record.

On bravoratings.com it is listed at less than 3.5 million viewers. There viewer average is still less than it was for season 3 AND season 2… though the average is higher than it was for season 1. For the past 3 years, each year has dropped by about 100,000 viewers.
Now this sounds about right. I mean come on …not all jerseyans are so whacked that we sit there and get stuck on stupid by watching this garbage. I do not watch this family slowly destroy their young children. No way. I like sleeping at night!
OMG !! 6 million is HUGE !! I mean even NBC or ABC sometimes dont get that kind of ratings. So now RHONJ is bigger than Atlanta. Guess next season is going to be has intense cause bravo want ratings. Maybe they will all return who knows ?

I think we should all talk about things we want to see next season, not who we don’t want to see anymore. As the ratings are good, we are pretty sure most of them (if not all) are back anyway. What I want to see next season:
- Jacqueline being treated for her mental craziness, and eventually talking about his son; Want to see a bad side of her too;
- Caroline realizing how ugly she is inside and trying to get closer to Teresa again; I like her 2 boys, although I think that they are tooo spoiled…
- Melissa’s past being disclosed, showing that she is not the person she is creating for tv;
- Teresa dealing with Joe’s prison and continuing her successful business;
I sincerely don’t need Kathy. She can have appearances like Camille Grammer at RHOBH. Her kids are boring, her husband is nasty and she has nothing to add to the show. It is sad that she chose the wrong side… if she were on Teresa’s side, she would have secured her spot on the next season… of course Bravo will bring friends for Teresa. I think that having more than 6 housewives is too much work for producers and shootings.

You know something? What that tells me is Bravo actually lost many viewers during seasons 3 and 4. If that many people tuned into the reunion, that means that many less, did not tune in during episodes. Which means Bravo should clean out some of the cast because viewers weren’t actually happy with the gang up on Teresa mentality. Bravo should look at those numbers as a wake up call. That’s a lot of viewers who didn’t watch the episodes.
I don’t mind them being a part of th show but honestly I don’t think Kathy or Caroline have anything to give to the show. I also would like to see it go back to just the housewives. Joe and Richie made me sick this season. I’m tired of hearing about their penis and the only reason I think the talk about sex is cause I don’t think they get any. My husband said if a man talks about it they aren’t getting it. Lol. But seriously its time to start showing some positive stuff like Tre cooking and talk about writting a tell all book(hehe) and let’s se what else Melissa does. Singing at flea markets is showing her music career isn’t going anywhere. Id like to see Jaco do a therapy session with the therapist Bethany used. She has serious problems or better yet she should probally tak a break cause she is losing it. Id like to see other housewives who can start taking the heat enough tre bashing.
I hate that their ratings were that good. unfortunately I think a lot of people that had tuned out for the season, like myself tuned back in the last few episodes because we had heard about stripper gate for so damn long we wanted to see what the fuss was all about… then of course that leads you to want to watch the reunion… these ratings are only going to encourage their horrible behavior in season 4
