RHONJ Recap: True Love, True Lies
The Real Housewives of New Jersey aired a very special episode Sunday that celebrated the love between two people. Jamie and his partner Rich had a beautiful wedding that had me in tears. But what’s RHONJ if it isn’t a drama-filled episode?!
Jacqueline Laurita: The episode begins with Jac and Chris Laurita in their Chicago hotel room. Suddenly, the two just happen to have a copy of Teresa’s Intouch magazine! Sometimes I truly wonder how Chris Laurita puts up with Jacqueline being that he’s so positive and down to earth while she’s so all over the place. Don’t get me wrong, I love her in the show. Love BUT if I was to search everything she’s done outside of the show, I’d think she’d have a bipolar disorder.
Caroline Manzo: Jacqueline wasn’t the only one with a copy of the Intouch magazine! So was Caroline! I call BS. Greggy needs some toothpaste so he goes to grab some when suddenly he see’s a copy of Teresa on the Intouch cover. Really? How stupid does Bravo think we are. Bravo probably handed out each copy to all the ladies before taping! In the article, it says Caroline is a bully. Caroline is so upset to read this and says that Teresa is “supposed” to be her friend. HAH! Good one. Teresa is supposed to be Caroline’s friend yet Caroline has been bashing her since episode 1? This has got to be a joke! Caroline gives Teresa the cold shoulder while they are on their way to the beautiful wedding. Caroline acts as if she’s upset by the article when in reality she’s been bitter all season!
The Gorga’s: Really love Melissa and Joe’s jersey shore house! I’d love spending my summers there. To bad it’s on the market right now and they barely had anytime at all to enjoy it! Joe Gorga walks into the kitchen and tells Melissa he found the InTouch magazine of Teresa while he was at the barber shop. I’m literally laughing out loud at this point. This sounds like a stupid joke. Melissa is a hypocrite in the sense that she has a problem with Teresa giving articles to InTouch when Melissa herself has been giving countless stories to US weekly! Melissa says Teresa needs to be loyal to her family yet Mel is the one who contacted Danielle Staub years ago knowing Teresa had problems with her. Kathy attends the Jersey house and they talk about Teresa. Because you know, there’s no such thing as a party if it isn’t a ‘lets trash talk Teresa’ kind of party! Melissa Gorga debuts her song ‘Rockstar’ and it’s another song that sounds nothing like her and is completely autotoned! Just the way I like it! Richard Wakile gives Joe some good advice and while Joe acts like he wants things to be fixed, I totally doubt him.
Teresa Giudice: Can you imagine being with a group of girls who constantly bash you and give you the cold shoulder? I don’t know how Teresa does it! Teresa gets a text while their at the wedding and finds out her cookbook made New York Times Best Seller! Such happy news! Teresa shares the news and gets not even one reaction from the group! True friends would support the fact that Teresa’s book became a best seller not look bitter and jealous. If that didn’t show how jealous the other ladies were then I don’t know what will! Teresa later talks to Jacqueline and notifys her that Joe texted her. Because if she didn’t tell Jac, Jac would throw a fit. Teresa claims she doesn’t need therapy and has done nothing wrong. Teresa has done things wrong just like Joe has and they both should go see a therapist off camera! If they really want it to work, they don’t need to air it out for the world to see. We’ve already seen enough!
Next week’s episode looks intense! I think we’re finally going to see the fall out between former friends Teresa and Jacqueline! Overall I liked this episode just because I enjoyed watching two people celebrate their love for each other! It was refreshing. Thought’s on Sunday’s episode?

I think rich secretly loves Teresa. He bashes her unprovoked constantly to make others laugh and let them see that he “hates” her. But then he will be going to Joe to have him make amends with Teresa because he knows Teresa would like that. He even advises joe to remind Teresa that he loves her no matter what & stuff. Lol yeah right richie. YOU love Teresa no matter what but since you can’t write it you get someone else to. He cares more about joe making up with Teresa than joe does. Am i the only one that found that strange?
Honestly I think he does that simply for the cameras. None are dumb….they know the jury of public opinion has most pegged. I think he wants to be seen as a good guy, trying to get them together.
I mean, come on…..they are old school Italian. They DEMAND respect!! God, I hate Kathy’s opening line.
I think Rich and Kathie need to check Websters for the meaning of “respect” ’cause we aren’t seeing any from THEM. Then, they need to share it with the other morons.

I thought the same thing!! They party an awful lot, as do the Gorgas. The only difference is the Gorgas are in their 30s and they are not. I think there is some “whacky baccy” in the hooka!!

I completely agree with you , they are very calculating in there moves. I bet the only texts Joe ever send to Teresa are the ones he sends on camera. I bet he doesn’t call any other time, and when the camera’s aren’t around. Kathy, Melissa, Joe, and Rich get together and plan EVERYTHING out, and how they will destroy Teresa.I hate them all.
Meanwhile, Rich lets Joe Gorga know that Rich would be a witness of Gorga’s text…exact words were something to the effect that it is now out there. There’s ulterior motives to what Rich is doing…and that is to portray that he and Kathy were trying to help Teresa.
I hate Kathy. What a frog eyed joke. And Rich is a dork with a bad mouth.

I’m so sick of Bravo setting up scenes. It’s like watching The Hills. Although I do believe Greg would have gone down to the gift shop in his robe, I in no way think they cared about the freakin’ toothpaste. And if they did, they’re even more self entitled than I though. Greg went into the hall and a producer gave him the mag. As Bethenny would say, Jacqueline needs a hobby. WTF does she do all day? C.J. and Nick must have a nanny. They’re never on camera. Chris seems too good for her stripping ass. I was a bit shocked at their nothing wedding though. Didn’t Al and Tommy own The Brownstone at that time? Strange?
I agree with you 100%. and then that bullshit line of “here’s to the high road,” really? Then why no congrats offered when Teresa said she’d made the best sellers list? And its obvious she wasn’t talking to Teresa so she didn’t want anyone else to do so either. Did you hear hie she was peaking to brother for talking to Teresa? And then the other bullshit line of: “we were there when no one else was there.” Really, again with more lies? Caroline expects us to believe that she was “there” for someone who was “never actually her friend” and never “actually in bankruptcy.” how dumb does she think people are? The finial line was that SHE (Caroline) invited her to the wedding as an “olive branch.” for real? Both Teresa and Jamie says that they’re friends and that Jamie invited Teresa.
P.S. Caroline, if you don’t want to be viewed as a bully, try to refrain from referring to yourself as a bulldog and as someone else as a coward. She is a bully, an ugly one at that.

Funny I thought Chris Laurita has a crush on Teresa. When Jac was talking about the article Chris said Teresa’s hustling and good for her, he also said he didn’t think the article was a big deal. I think he likes how hard Teresa works and he laughed when Teresa was telling jac she reminded her of Kate Hudsen, but he laughed in a good way. He didn’t seem to harbor any bad feelings for Teresa.
Does anyone get the feeling that Chris is unaware of Jac’s actions on twitter.

Thats what I was thinking too!! I don’t recall where they were staying but it didn’t seem like some rent me for the hour and get all the free porn you want type of joint. So i find it really hard to believe this establishment was perfectly fine w/ him wondering the halls with his junk swinging in the wind.
And that kind of establishment would have either had toothpaste on the sink with the rest of the toiletries or would have been happy to bring him up some. Nice hotels do things like that. But remember, Caroline had toothpaste, but Greggy couldn’t use it because he didn’t like the flavor “mint”. Umm, OKAY.
What sickens me about Big Greggy is he’s claimed innocent all over twitter saying ” I’m on a reality show people! All I did was comment on what was happening in front of me which is what people are supposed to do on reality shows!” As if he’s some innocent lamb who doesn’t work with the producers to get the segments just right. He’ll get his because the second the Manzo’s and his interests start to diverge, they’ll not only drop him like a hot potato, but Don will probably want to seem him destroyed too.

When he and the whole awful Manzo clan was laughing it up last season talking about how stupid Teresa is and making other hurtful comments about her and her family he definitely wasn’t just ‘giving his opinion’ in the context he is trying to use as it as now.
He is playing the game. It sounds like he was referring to interviews, but he was giving his ill intended digs right from jump street last season! The fact that Teresa doesn’t even address those disrespectful comments or go back at him speaks volumes about their character. One’s character obviously outshines the other IMO.

The shore house scene was horrible. The alcohol/ orgy and unattended children were hard to watch. That is NOT a setting for children. You wanna have SEXY parties, get a freaking babysitter like you do for everything else. That was horrendous and Joe could have seriously hurt Antonio in his drinking swimming stupor. I was almost embarrassed and how lame that set up was regarding the therapy text for Teresa. They practically admit that they are setting her up and making sure to haveWITNESSES. Great family!
That party was very dangerous and out of control for parents with small kids to be having. IMAGINE if Teresa had had that kind of party, with her kids there, at her house? We would never hear the end of it! I also think the shore house was crappy and the backyard tight. Just one giant cheap tacky mess!
Fab – IMAGINE if Teresa had talked about CAROLINE and ALBERT’S marriage ON CAMERA?? Did you catch how she blasted Teresa there? She essentially said Joe is unhappy, but it’s not his fault; it’s that rotten wife of his! Teresa spends too much money and has apparently forced Joe to do so too! Can you IMAGINE how Caroline would react if Teresa said something……ANYTHING negative about her marriage?

Joe lied and allegedly committed crimes, Teresa has stuck by him when he was broke and done everything she could to help with the money situation, but still he’s the hero and she’s the gold digger? No wonder they have no sympathy for Teresa, they blame her for everything including the actions of a grown-ass man and never give her credit for anything. Why would she ever tell these people anything about her problems, no matter what she does she can’t win.
Caroline seems to be that woman that hates other women deep down. She’s always sticking up for men, no matter there behavior but holds women to another standard. She does it with her sons, and when teresa didn’t tell jacqueline right away that her brother had contacted her after the blow up at kathy’s pool party- caroline says, this poor joey, look what teresa is doing to this poor guy, never mind that he just said f u bitch to his sister the day before, no, no, it’s poor joe.

So Jacqueline while you’re questioning Teresa’s parenting skills: please do so for Melissa, better yet, where are Jacqueline’s kids? They’re never present for anything. Secondly, it’s perfectly fine and acceptable for Ritchie to talk crap about Terssa and Joe, but when Teresa or joe makes comments about either of them, then he’s so stupid and they’re both being mean. Caroline, Jacqueline and Melissa, can all speak about Teresa’s marriage, but WWIII almost started for talking about HER BROTHER’S and Melissa’s marriage. The difference in what Teresa said to her brother and what Caroline said was huge. First Teresa was talking to him in what she thought was a private conversation in response to what he had about Joe. It does not matter if he meant for her to see it not, she saw it and she responded. No different that anyone elsse. What Caroline said and did was not only untrue, but mean spirited and hurtful (not only for Joe and Teresa, but for their children). Maybe if she spent a little more time speculating about what her own husband is doing, she can catch him with his other woman. And the same applies to Jacq, if she spends less time speculating about Teresa’s happiness and the fairytale in Teresa’s head, maybe she could get somewhere, like maybe QVC pushing her product: almost forgot, she doesn’t have a product.
The Jersey Shore is crappy. Just one giant cheap tacky mess. Who would want a house there except cheap tacky people.
I’m from NJ and there are some really cute shore houses, small and large down here. Although I’m from Southern Jersey and not anywhere near the area their house is in. The beaches in South Jersey have less of that “Jersey Shore” vibe. Once you hit Ocean Grove, Asbury Park area, that’s when it gets kinda tacky. In my opinion.

You could totally tell that the adults were too drunk to have proper depth perception and judgment – or to care.

I’ve never had a post of mine posted either. They are definitely picking and choosing who to publish… If you just say something negative, with not much info, you might make it, providing there are more positives for them to post than negatives. If you post something that is really smart and has evidence to back it up, and you make a lot of sense… forget it, you’re not getting published. They are picking and choosing, and making sure to keep everyone’s comments pretty neutral… Except Teresa. You can bash T all you want and you get published. If you have something nice to say… forget it.

For three years I have tried to get a comment posted here. What? Is there a secret ‘woid?’ Anyway, Kathy’s poor-poor-pitiful-me act really needs to be retired. It was apparent to anyone that could freeze-frame the text in that magazine that the “how many times do you go to the mall,” comment was a broad-brush synopsis of the whole Wakile-Giudice vibe.
From day one when the Wakile’s (and the Gorga’s) back-doored their way onto the show, Teresa let it be known she had no use for Richie because he was constantly busting her chops about how she spent money. So Kathy is being deliberately disingenuous if not downright dishonest by saying SHE never criticized Teresa’s spending when it is patently obvious to anyone paying attention that Richie does.

You have a rotten soul and it shows. EVERYTHING you do is calculated. I noticed you didn’t say you wished ALL your missing siblings could have been at the wedding. No. Instead you singled out Dina’s absence. Is that because you could get more mileage out of mentioning a name the viewers know or because the missing others don’t matter? Either way it shows you are petty and self-serving. It is certainly no surprise to know that more than half your 10 siblings want nothing to do with you.
I think you’re onto something there, Helen. We should start some kind of page dedicated JUST to comments we TRIED to post on BRAVO that never made it.

First,
I want to iterate the utmost respect (and now, affection) I have for Roxy. She is a truly remarkable young lady. I am taking the time to state all this because I now know, personally, that she really is the nice, helpful, concerned young lady we all pretty much figured her to be. I can honestly state that I plan to use as her a modern-day role model for my two young granddaughters to identify with and seek to emulate.
That said, as phenomenal as Roxy is, she can’t do it all. That is why, over at my place,(whatsthatsmell.org), I have started a Board titled “Media Musings.” Under that Board’s banner, I have started a thread (inspired by Roxy’s own “Someone is Watching,” who suggested a page be started for “Bravo Rejects” titled, “The Things Bravo Doesn’t Want You To Read.”
The page I started speaks for itself and if people contribute to it, well, we shall see what we shall see.
They never post my comments to Caroline. They recently posted my “HotTubHeather comment”. That damn SH blogger stole that name from. LOL!
They never post mine either BUT I think everyone should KEEP trying to post theirs on the Bravo blogs because even if they don’t get posted, you KNOW Bravo is keeping tabs on how many positive vs. negative comments for each of the “stars” and it probably affects what they decide to do next year!
Same here. I think they only post positive comments to Andy Cohen’s cronies blogs (Caro, Jac, Kathy and MeGo) and they only post negative comments to Teresa’s blogs.
I think Bravo needs to wake up and listen to it’s viewers. I read several Housewives sites (althought ALLABOUTTRH is my #1!) and I would say about 80% of the comments are in favor of Teresa! The fact that she is being bullied, and that people want her to get her own show. Bravo/Andy Cohen screwed up when they tried to make Teresa the villian that she clearly is not. And because of that I would think they are going to lose a considerable amount of viewers, if not this season, then definitely for the next. I for one can say, if the Teresa bashing continues, I cannot watch another season of it. I watch TV for entertainment, not to watch someone be bullied.
DANIELLE if you are reading this, PLEEEEEASE expose MeGo to be the WITCH that we all know she is!
My girlfriends and I all agreed to post comments on Carolyn’s Bravo blog the same afternoon, about 20 of us, and not one of our comments was posted. We tried again on Jac’s blog, but again not one post. Bravo has an agenda and they will stick to it and they are not interested in their viewers actual opinions. Most of us stopped watching after that and just read the recaps and if you look at the ratings of TRHNJ on Tvbythenumbers.com you will see their ratings have dropped a bunch since the first two episodes of season 4.

Happy Day, I don’t care what you do, Bravo is not going to post your comments on her wall. I’m convinced that there polls are fixed, just the comment board is. There is no way on God’s green Earth that 70 % of the viewers thought that Jacqueline and Caroline acted properly with Gia. There is no damn way, for if they did stupid Jacq wouldn’t said what she said I her last blog, she wouldve said thanks for the support, not those other 5 pages of bs of how she loves, hugs, and adore Teresa’s kids. Bravo will only post good on Melissa, Caroline, Jacq, and Kathy’s wall with a few of truthfulness sprinkled in there, but no flat out truth. It’s also obvious that this season was manufactured as a Teresa hate feast after what happen in Punta whatever. They thought that Melissa and Kathy could create enough controversy along Caroline being viewed as the “reasonable one,” and Jacq being viewed as the “sweet one” they thought it would be like taking candy from a baby. They never took into account how unstable Jacq was or that there are so many people that knows the truth about Caroline, Melissa, and Kathy’s financial situation or Chris L business bankruptcy. They also didn’t conduct an actual poll on the housewives, they probably went with the one from Reality Tea or something. The tide is vastly shifting in Teresa’s favor. Word to the other four: get another job, because I think there will a total recasting for NJ. Teresa may stay or go, but she’s proven that she can do her thang elsewhere.

I watched last night for the first time this season and the one thing that stood out to me was the way Jacqueline and Caroline acted when Teresa mentioned the text about her book , that say’s alot in my opinion. They’re so jealous of Teresa’s success they can’t stand it. It was okay when Chris commented on the success of BLK Water but OH HELL NO , don’t let Teresa say anything about her book . Double standards all over this show . Makes me sick. I hope Teresa is smart enough to NEVER trust these catty backstabbing women again !!
& Jac acts totally different to T when Caroline is around!

The Polls are incredibly staged. The infamous night when Jill Zarin demanded a recount: I voted 4 times. The first 3 I voted for Jill and each time I got a text back saying it didn’t go through, the 4th time I voted for Ramona to see what would happen- it went through. I then voted 2 more times for Jill- each time got a text back saying it wouldn’t go through. Something doesn’t add up. Jill took it too far by demanding a recount, but that is BS.
The shore house scene was horrible. The alcohol/ orgy and unattended children were hard to watch. That is NOT a setting for children. You wanna have SEXY parties, get a freaking babysitter like you do for everything else. That was horrendous and Joe could have seriously hurt Antonio in his drinking swimming stupor. I was almost embarrassed and how lame that set up was regarding the therapy text for Teresa. They practically admit that they are setting her up and making sure to have WITH WITNESSES. Great family!

I agree that it was totally staged that everyone just “happened” across copies of this magazine. The fact remains, however, that Teresa DID give that interview and trash her own friends AND FAMILY. For her to then claim that she didn’t really say those things is beyond insulting to the people she trashed.

I may have misread Bravo’s intent this season. It appears to me that all the bad editing is going to Manzos/Laurita/Gorgas/Wakiles. all of the cast just happened to get the latest copy of a magazine all at the same time while filming!! does Bravo think fans of this show are just really stupid??! what stood out for me was your mention of children’s birthday parties.
We have seen Teresa give parties for her girls with children and their parents present. The focus was on the child.

the bday was at a fashion at a table full of sweet I dont think she had a party.
She did not have a party for Antonia, she posted a pic of Antonia in a restaurant with a cupcake in front of her with a candle in it.
Antonia participated in some fashion show.
Mel and Joe had dinner with Antonia, and then they went out to an appearance, right from the restaurant.
The sweet table was at the fashion show, and was for all of the Children that participated in the fashion show.
Yes. I too was gobsmacked as our British friends say by that pool-push. Wonder if Andy Cohen will have the ‘nads to observe at the reunion that it appears as if every party that bunch holds is a no-holds-barred, drunken bacchanal where the children are not only subjected to things they shouldn’t see, they are put in harms way.
I sure hope Andy Cohen doesn’t do to Teresa what he did last time…I think I will be done with the entire network if he does. Some of these things HAVE to come up at the reunion for Kathy and Melissa, right??

Thoughts- Typical issues of the bashing, the face making, eye rolling, backstabbing Jac confused on how to be her own person, Caro acting like a tough guy . What is really sad is the fact that Teresa had no idea from season 3 until now that any of these people were doing and saying and feeling all of this behind her back. How horrible a person must feel knowing that so far after the fact, or knowing it at all. Even if you do joke Teresa, as a compassionate human you maybe can admit that is just vile, especially when 3 are relatives and rode your coattails to get publicity and the others were supposed to be the next best thing to family. I too found it odd that copies of the magazine randomly appeared!

my theory on the whole “-imma make a Betteh meat-a-ball” nonsense from the Manzo_laurita crew is that it goes back to when Dina was on the show. Jac said all three of them were going to write a book… Indicating that Tre stole the idea. Because there’s never been a public person who has written a cookbook (eye roll).
If memory serves back then caroline was telling tre she was doing it all wrong blah blah blah. I bet she was twice as controlling w Dina and Jac and Dina said f this – I brought the family to this show. Dina felt like she was top dog. s1 & s2 had the normal 4-6 months (?) hiatus in between and s1 was airing during s2 – I think that’s bout right. Dina Might not have taken well to caroline getting the “earth mother” edit and viewers responding so well to her. On top of that, I think bravo found out about Dina signing the letter for minor participation for lexi (from danielle) and bravo knew they had a problem.
Tre said on s3 reunion tht Dina was mad because Caroline threw Dina under the bus for a business opportunity, I think the opportunity was related to tht cook book deal. Maybe the approach to the book, I dunno, but it just seems like that is at the heart of the issues. Dina and caroline have their isssues from WAY before the show. Control, ego, name it, any one of their issues with each other could be the reason why Dina walked away from her familty. I’m not sure whether the show let her go due to the false sig, but it seems that way. Could have been partly that but also the way she handled it. Cos bravo didn’t go out of their way to help her thereafter. So she was hung out to dry and Caroline may have felt she now controlled the book deal. Which she then went forward with and produced the finest work of literature since Hemingway (lolololol).
Anyway… That’s my theory.
I watched the RR episode w/ Teresa & Caroline that aired shortly before Season Two did. Caroline mentioned she was coming out with a line of kitchenware, and if you watch S2, you can see her wearing a pink chef jacket with a “Caroline’s Kitchen” logo.
I assume her deals fell through, while Teresa’s have gone from strength to strength. Yet another reason to blame Tree.

What I am hearing is that Dina was supposed to plan and present Jamie’s wedding on her show “Dina’s Party” but Caroline went behind her back and did whatever she did to get Jamie to instead have the wedding air on Bravo on RHONJ. If this is true it would make totaly sense as to why Dina and other family members didn’t attend the ceremony.
I hope all the parents aren’t watching this 3 ring circus.

Maybe Teresa suspects Joey’s motives for wanting to go to therapy all of a sudden. He has been aggressive and angry with her since joining the show. He wants her to “fall” in order to learn a lesson. Now he wants to go to therapy to repair the relationship. I suspect he simply wants to go in order to continue to provide him with an interesting storyline. My guess is that Teresa suspects the same.
I hope that Teresa does not go anywhere with her Brother.
The last time Teresa saw her Brother, was at the Posche Fashion Show, on the last episode of season 4 (the season we are now watching)
That was in September or October/2010. That was eight or nine months ago.

First, I think that the Gorga’s should be trash. I know some of the most socially irresponsible people in America, and even they’d have more respect for children thst what the Gorga’s displayed on national tv. I think it’s nasty, and it’s so far from classy it’s unbelievable that this made on tv. I will say that Ritchie is beginning to slightly grow on me, it dies seem that he wants what’s best for Joe and Teresa. I do like Chris, but I have to call his sanity into question about his choice of a martial partner. Chris seems to have an approach of it’s not my business, so let’s leave it alone. His wife in the other hand is a ball of contradiction. Chris will do much better by have ping Jacquline committed to a mental hospital, with very strict rules on taking medicine. Her “worry” about Teresa’s happiness could easily be applied to her own life. She wont tell about her personal issues to magazines, but she will do it a tv show, or even more do it to her teenage daughter. And their jealousy was so noticeable when Teresa told them her book was on the best sellers list. Caroline almost fell out of her chair. Don’t get me started on that one, she going to ensure that Lauren is as much a bitch as she is.

Whats really insane is that he tweets and talks just as much crapola as the people that are cast members! He is another one that dishes it out but cannot take it, and of course, Caroline and Kathy are always right there to defend him and coddle him.. sickening.

I think he was cast to be a foil for the Manzo boys if they got their own show, showing their lives in their apartment. I beleive that they probably put him under contract and since the show never materialized, they have to use him somehow.
Greg is nothing but an instigator. He’ll soon become a pawn in the Bravo game called “Let’s find the Manzo’s a story line”.

In the beginning, I was not a fan of Teresa. Now, after watching the past 2 seasons, she is the star of the show. I am on her side on most of the fights. She is everyones’ story line and I believe that everyone is jealous that she is getting the most attention on the show. I would be horrified if my family were airing out my dirty laundry on tv. Teresa has always tried to put her best face forward, but everyone else keeps bashing her. I understand why she doesn’t want to talk with them about what is really going on in her life, she knows they would use it against her.

These women clearly are so angry that Teresa (the one they’ve pegged as dumb) continously outshines them. They are seething at her success. I went to Teresa’s book signing in Miami this past Sat. and she was so happy, nice, personable, and genuine. The wait was about an hour and I got there early! She interacted with every single fan there, answered all questions, and personalized the books to request. I asked her if she was nervous about the reunion and she said “No, not at all. If anything all of this has made me stronger”. She went on to say that after doing CA she feels she can do anything. I told her how great she was on CA and that her fans got her back. She laughed and then took pics with me. Afterwards we hugged goodbye and she said Thank you for coming. I really couldn’t ask for anything more, she was so sweet. The ladies in front of me on line asked her to personalize their book with “I’m a cooker not a hooker” the line that Milania said this season. We all laughed about it including Teresa and she told them that she asked Milania where she got that from and Milania told her like a hook for a fish. The point is she was just real, no airs, no BS, just a moment with her supporters. And that is the one thing that is killing the rest of the women on this show. Teresa has something they will never have = a personality that is bigger than theirs. What they fail to understand is that she has earned her success. Jac, Caro, & Teresa started on an even playing field in S1. Their success & how far they’ve taken things is a direct result of their own doing and not anyone else’s.

aww love your story ClaireB. I met Tre in Boston and I agree with everything you said about her. She is just a really sweet woman. It makes me so happy that she is a success because she did it in spite of a LOT of obstacles, put there by people she loves (or loved) and she did it with a smile. She didn’t badmouth anyone and she didn’t lie. She doesn’t pretend to be something she’s not, and she isn’t afraid to show who she is.

I just don’t understand why any of these people expect Teresa to go to therapy. Every single thing she has ever said or done has been twisted and revealed by her brother and Melissa. Now they expect her to go to therapy and have real honest conversations with her brother. Why? So that he can then come on the show and make public everything that she says in the therapy session!! Why would anyone put themselves through that?

First of all, Rox, I almost had a heart attack this morning because for some reason, Chrome would not load your website and I thought it got shut down. It took me an hour to get on here!! I was panicking!
Okay…seriously with all of them just HAPPENING to conveniently have a copy of the InTouch magazine? Bravo really thinks we are morons. First Chris Laurita is casually flipping through a tabloid in a hotel room (and it just happens to be there?). Then Greg Bennett goes to get toothpaste and just happens to see it while he’s standing in line and brings it back to Don Caro. Then the best was Joey Gorga stomping up the driveway as if a deer just collided with his truck on the Jersey Turnpike holding the InTouch in his hand. Do these men realize how douchebaggy they all looked? And Melissa’s first reaction was – of course – not about anything that was said in the article. It was that the picture of her was ugly.
And yet again, NOBODY thinks to talk to Teresa first to get her side of it. Just like with the text message. Teresa clearly explained that the magazine asks questions and she answers them and that is as far as her involvement goes. Why must they automatically assume that her intentions are bad?
I also found it obnoxious that Caroline honed in on using the article as an excuse to be mad at Teresa. What was her excuse prior to that? She was acting like an evil Disney queen toward Teresa for the whole trip but never gave a reason why she was mad at her. Was it because of Field Day?
Let’s be honest, they were at a wedding celebrating happiness and love. If nothing but for the sake of Jaime and Rich, it should have been positive the entire time and Teresa WAS being nothing but positive. Caroline was guilty of bringing the energy down. Why did she keep looking for things to pick at? If she had any respect for her brother and the sanctity of the event, she would have put on a smile and kept things positive. But no, she was intentionally trying to be negative.
Then in her TH she says “Can anybody have anything? This is my brother’s wedding.” (in response to Teresa sharing her good news about her book with her friends…is something wrong with that?) WTF Caroline? YOU are the one ruining it with your nasty comments and making faces like you just shat yourself. These two episodes COULD have been a nice keepsake for Jaime and Rich but Caroline had to ruin it by being cold and bitter.
On top of that, Jaime now knows that the only sister who attended his wedding did not enjoy herself because she was too busy looking for drama. He also now knows that she used his wedding as an opportunity to exploit her self-created drama at the expense of one of his other wedding guests (and friends) for a national TV audience. How sad.
Moving on… Did anyone else find it odd that Melissa’s song was completed a year ago (since she “debuted” it at the party) yet not released on iTunes until yesterday?
Because Mel would never sell any songs if they weren’t attached to the hype of the show. She could never release a song on her own, no1 would buy it!

The magazine scene(s) was ridiculous Nothing bad was said. I think they were more upset because of the ugly photos they used of caroline,melissa, and kathy LMAO. Therapy isn’t a magic wand, you get out what you put in. For people who think they need it, it can help, though it might take a long time. But for people who deal with things in their own way and don’t have the type of personality to open up to strangers, it’s a waste of time. Jac has gone to therapy and hasn’t gotten anything out of it. Even if you sincerely want help, it’s not always effective.
I would say that Jac going to therapy is all the more reason not to go!! She is the biggest mess around. When people are saying that she makes Kelly Bensimon look sane there’s a problem.
If I was Teresa, I would certainly NOT go to therapy with Joe while the cameras are rolling. He just needs a story line…. Don’t give him one. The only way to get rid of a parasite is to starve it off…. Teresa should walk away from them all…start filming with her girlfriends and kids.

How come all of a sudden, they show up and Tre’s friends leave her? You’re not 10 years VERY close friends with some one and all of a sudden fights take place with out some sort of explanation. Girl, I agree with you. Don’t they have enough going on in their own lives? Someone should point out how many times T’s name is said during an episode. The thing is what they’re doing is just so obvious to anyone fair-minded, intelligent person. It is so one-sided too, everyone is against the star of the show and that does equal jealousy.

Yes there were, but according to Mel, they kept it classy and sexy. And then, there was a shot of the whipped cream fight. Looked like a bad porn scene… but then again….
It was really pretty bad. They had this pretty confined space with small deck (even smaller because of the big bar) and a bigger pool right there with no separation from the rest of the deck or safety guards. The adults were totally tanked up, jumping in the pool, running around the deck, squirting whipped cream. Joe pushed this one guy in the pool and he almost landed right on top of Antonia. From a kid’s perspective, it looked scary and dangerous. Everybody was too busy acting like teenagers to pay attention to them, and you know, pools, slippery surfaces, wasted rampaging beefy guys and tiny kids? Not really a good mix.
You almost expected the cast of Jersey Shore to show up and go, “WTF? This is child endangerment! We’re leaving! This is messed up!” lol
It reminded me too that the whole Christening mess happened because everybody was furious at Giudice for not wanting to do shots. Talk about unattended children, every family gathering turns into a drunken orgy but pass the Malibu.
She is pathetic w/ the we’re classy attitude and she is fakest one on this show. I love it when she is in the kitchen when Joe gets home and she is acting like she is cooking for their big blow out. She has a tiny pan on the stove w/ some peppers in it. Bitch you had probably about 50 drunk ass’ at your house what was that little pan going to feed. But she has to one up T and make it seem like she cooks too. Then that poor elderly couple (her neighbors)she is talking to them like they are her old LOOKERS friends “our parties get rowdy”. I saw confusion on their faces and i can only imagine they were trying to figure out just how much their ocean front property went down.Then it goes to a grill w/ chicken legs on it, because nothing says good eats like chicken legs. okay, after reading all the posts I get that Chris, Caro, Mama Laurita were the only blood Laurita’s to attend brothers wedding? It’s a one hour flight from Newark to Chicago. Their are 11 siblings but only two are in attendance? Eight siblings couldn’t each have an excuse, maybe 3 of 11 but 8 of 11 didn’t attend? One sister is living with Dina now, right?

Dina is mad at Caro for a reason, could it be that Dina mentioned to Caro that she wanted to host Jamie’s wedding on her show, on HGTV.
I wonder if Caro offered it to Bravo without Dina’s knowledge.
That would explain why his wedding was so rushed, and why the other siblings did not attend.
It would also be a very good reason for Dina to stop talking to Caro. Dina was close to Jamie, and I think that she would not say anything about it to Jamie. She would not want to ruin his day.
At the last reunion when Caro was trying to blame Tre for her argument with Dina, Tre responded by saying, YOU KNOW WHY DINA IS NOT TALKING TO YOU.
This is my theory. Take it one step further. The wedding was scheduled to be onHgtv and Caroline talked Jamie into switching to Bravo because it would get the gay rights more national exposure. So something that would have really put Dina’s struggling show on the map was stolen by Caroline. Which is why none of Caroline’s brothers and sisters are speaking to her except Jamie. In the words of Teresa, she back-stabbed her big time. Bravo didn’t need the ratings, their ratings for rhonj are a lock. Caroline wanted to be a gay rights hero. Instead, she may have very well guaranteed the cancellation of Dina’s show, which would have really put it on the map and is about parties!

Come on, savy and experienced reality tv execs having seen hundreds of thousands of audition tapes couldn’t see right through these tacky, deluded fame whores? Completely lacking any social graces and so desperate. Easy marks. And with hundreds of hours of footage they couldn’t see Jaqueline’s immaturity or Caroline’s self-righteous stubborness?
Maybe all of the Teresa bashers aren’t just Melissa’s army of skanks, but planted by Bravo to get them to believe the tides are turning. And what was the deal about the “shut up” all the time that Caroline kept saying. That tells in itself of how jealous Caroline really is.
So after reading through all of these posts, I have some new thoughts. Last year I didn’t like Teresa. At. All. She always came across as vindictive and annoying to me. And at the reunion I didn’t like her attitude. I was Team the other side. Bur, since then, I found this site and read so many posters on Tetesa’s side, I wondered if maybe I was mistaken. I am a smart woman. I know how to treat people. What made me switch teams, if you will, was the constant Teresa bashing. It actually had nothing to do with Teresa acting better or different. It was all M, C, K, and J! They came across awful and vindictive and jealous and petty. And once I started noticing, I kept noticing how they NEVER STOP. And throughout this whole time, I also noticed Tetesa never said anything that far out of line. And frankly, I sometimes think she doesn’t pick up on things when she does. Why? Because she is just a good-hearted woman who isn’t trying to be mean. Like the others.
Now, what really made me confirm my team change was her blog. It was eloquent, well-written, spot-on, and explained a lot. I then understood why Teresa was so upset during S3. I got it. And she made some excellent points. The rest of them are just going by semantics at this point. But, it is clear Teresa knew nothing of her family joining the show and nothing of near friends talking behind her back.
I am enjoying seeing her stick up for herself. She needs a little tenacity. Maybe some previous postersnare right…..maybe Bravo realizes she is the star. And the others go by the wayside. I mean, if they didn’t talk about Tetesa, what would they talk about? Melissa’s ugly bathing suits? Kathy demanding respect?

Exactly! And why is it okay that Joe Gorga does all his makeup attempts via text on the show, but it is not okay that Teresa gave an apology in a magazine? My only problem with Teresa’s apology in the magazine is that NONE of these people deserve an apology from her.
Did anyone read their blogs? Did anyone notice how short Carolines was, and not one mention of Tre… Kathy did a little in the beginning but not the usual Tre bashing we’ve come to expect. Do you think they’ve been told to tone it down?
Bravo and Andy probably told them to cool it a bit so they don’t look bad because Bravo knows they are looking more and more like idiots with the constant bashing and negativity from all their jealousy! I don’t think Bravo told them anything, because Jac’s blog last week was so nutso that if Bravo was telling them to tone it down they never would have published that one. I do think Caroline et al. are starting to realize they look like fools continually bashing Teresa (I mean, they are only told this every week by commenters, took them long enough!) and in cahoots and are getting nervous.

Honestly, u are right about enough is enough. But I do feel this, obviously Teresa interviews for in touch alot, she says well u know how they twist words around. My thing is why would u continue to work for people like that. If u see it causes problem and they want to print lies.. Don’t do it. Simple as that. Teresa says she wants to do the ads to put the record straight, so is it really them twisting her words or what Teresa tells them. But just what came to my mind.
Okay, so one thing that kept eating at me for awhile now was what caused the problem between Dina and Caroline? I knew that it had to have been something painful for Dina to detach from Caroline because I see Dina as a very easy-going type…knew it had to be something pretty big. We knew from Dina that it could not have been Teresa, like Caroline wanted it to seem, thus getting the blame off her. We also know from the reunion that Teresa seemed shocked when Caroline acted like she was blameless in the rift between her and Dina and in fact Teresa said something to the effect of…”you stabbed her in the back!” We also know that Teresa is not a great actress like some of the others, she couldn’t in my mind have acted that shocked look. I also thought it was weird that Caroline and not Dina attended their brother’s wedding. Dina was the one who was so close to Jamie. Even if she were angry at her sister, she wouldn’t diss her brother for that. So, the pieces weren’t fitting for me.
I saw today a comment on Celeb Gathers from someone named, Donna King, who posted this comment, “Nah..I am still going with Caroline backstabbing Dina. Dina wanted to do the wedding for her show on HGTV but Caroline went to Bravo about doing it there because more people watch Bravo and Jaime picked Bravo over Dina’s show for that reason!” I think this more than anything else anyone has guessed might be plausible and explains a few things.
I also think that Caroline did this because she knew she and her family were not part of the only S4 story line….the Gorga/Guidice feud…Teresa wasn’t letting Caroline be her counselor, first plan….and Mama Caroline needed to get her babies some air time. Those “kids (men and woman + Greg)” have no other source of income. They are totally dependent on the show and that is Mama’s fault for not kicking them out of the nest a long time and making them earn an education or their keep.
I also was scared watching the Gorga/Wakile drunkfest with the kiddies and wondered how the Teresa haters will twist this one…Gorgas weren’t really drinking and doing inappropriate things in front of the children?
And the magazine…really? that’s all you got? a puppy that Teresa should be afraid of and rather benign comments/restated rumors that had already circulated. Really??? That’s it? Chris was right…it was nothing and certainly not enough to take someone down…but take someone down they are trying to do.
Jacqueline was tweeting up a storm last night. She tweeted something interesting toward the end of the night, probably at the end of the bottle of wine…. she said that she had an offer for something that Teresa tried to steal from her. I also think that this is closer to the truth for her as well. I think all of them are really slowly beginning to reveal what is in between the lines. /Their own greed./
The “something” was for Jacqueline and Chris to revow their marriage on the show, but Chris didn’t go for it. Teresa admitted on the show last night that she is going to do it. But…and here is the thing that gets me so confused….doesn’t Ms.Jacqueline know that Bravo threw her an idea which she declined. Perhaps Bravo presented the same idea to Teresa who ran with it. Doesn’t mean that Teresa took something away from Jacqueline. Methinks these are all excuses made up between Caroline and Jacqueline to portray themselves as the victims.
I agree. But, what other storylines can they have? The viewers did not want to see the Manzo brothers + Greg and Ashlee is gone now. So what is left but for them both to fight with Teresa….that stealing conniving Teresa who isn’t very bright yet manages to lie, cheat, and steal everything from Jacq and Caroline!

Yes, EL! I read that several times about Dina being upset with Caroline because she backstabbed Dina to get Jaime on Bravo. I would be upset too! Jaime should have stayed with HGTV because their fan base is more lighthearted and fun. Plus, Dina could give Jaime his own 1 hour episode or something, and more people would know him from something positive. Having Jaime and his lover on Bravo stems away for his beautiful wedding by the drama and BS his stupid sister and the rest of them bring.

It would explain why only 2 out of 10 siblings of Jamie’s attended. I doubt that Dina would have told Jamie, she would not have wanted to ruin his day.

Penny and Teresa are friends. Just like when other friends of Teresa interviewed,filmed and went through the long process to get approval to be on the show Penny has kept Teresa informed. Kathy and Lookers Dancer never told Teresa that she were filmed or interviewed until after they had been approved. It is not a quick process. It can take weeks to months. In addition Lookers and Kathy were not getting along with Teresa when they joined. They did speak and attend each other events but they were not buddy- buddy. Lookers also was telling Danielle information about Teresa and Joe and that information was filtered down to Kim G and the attorney that was suing Teresa and Joe. Who does that to family.

I just wanted to comment on something I noticed not only on this site, but with people in general, including myself in the past. I notice how loosely everyone uses the term “bipolar”. I kindly want to ask everyone from labeling people that way. I am not one of those judgemental people wanting to act higher than thou, so please here me out. This is a term I myself would throw around all the time in the past. I have worked in the mental health field for ten years. Bipolar disorder is a very serious condition where someone has a chemical imbalance in the brain. Your mood alternates from extreme depression to irritabilty and racing thoughts. It is devestating to people and they cannot control it. Even with medicine sometimes it just doesn’t help. I work mainly with teens and there is such a stigma that they feel by being labeled biploar. THey can’t help having the disorder, just like someone can’t help having cancer. Your brain is an organ, and it can malfunction, just like any other organ in the body. It does not mean someone is “crazy”. This message really hit home to me three months ago when my smart, kind, funny, handsome 17 year old brother committed suicide. He was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder and he was so ashamed. He felt embarressed and like something was wrong with him. He feared he was broken and that people would think he was crazy. By throwing out terms such as bipolar, it helps contribute to that social stigma. I love my baby brother more than anything, and I have vowed to do everything I can to erase stigma and urge people to get help. I cannot let him die in vain. Please help me do so by not throwing such terms around. Thank you all and God Bless!

No, it is not a term to be thrown around lightly. It’s a terrifying illness that is not only difficult on the one suffering it, but can also tear apart the lives of the family. So from that perspective I understand you 100%. The judgement is what makes me want to slap people. Everyone else knows how better to handle the situation and everyone’s an expert or a critic. And then when I hear, Oh blah blah blah is bipolar…followed by snickering or laughter. That drives me nuts. So thanks for being so brave and making the statement.

It said that when Angelo (mel’s manager from the strip club)was at the hair salon, he was talking about Mel to Tre and she tried to stop him.
We saw a clip from the Posche event where mel and Tre are in the washroom and mel is asking Tre what he said.

Caroline getting her granny panties in a wad about Teresa’s article was LOL. Caroline DID make those comments, so it’s not like Teresa threw her under the bus or lied. And I read that article. No where in it did Teresa say anything about Caroline bashing her for being poor. It was only in that little section with Caroline, Melissa, and Kathy. Caroline also REALLY needs to make up her mind whether Teresa is her friend or not. In seasons 1 and 2 she claimed Teresa is like family to her. In season 3 she called Teresa a friend. So riddle me this: if Caroline thought of Teresa only as an acquaintance, why the F does she think Teresa should talk to her about her issues?!
last night they were friends again, only so Caroline could be outraged that her friend mentioned her in an interview lol.
And that’s what I love about Teresa-she doesn’t badmouth people so she doesn’t have to worry about anyone reading the articles she does. I really think she didn’t mention the In Touch story because when she SAW it, and SAW the comments they put next to her cast mates pictures (quotes from season 3) she was embarrassed for THEM that their mean quotes were right there in black and white.
I don’t understand why any of them are outraged they were all talking shit about her from season 3. and YES they were talking shit about her money problems ALL OF THEM!!! And i’m sure if BRAVO pulled some footage they didn’t show there would be a whole lot more.
Here’s my thoughts after watching this episode; sorry if this has already been covered (soooo many posts on the NJ threads).
1)Jac showed exactly wht a sh*t stirrer she is last night by making the “redone house” remark to Teresa. She knows it’s a sore spot and was hoping to get Teresa going so she could run back and tell Melissa (and all of us) how disloyal Teresa is. Glad T didn’t fall for it.
2)the fact that the camera instantly went to Caro and Jac when Teresa announced her book was a best seller shows that Bravo is well aware they are jealous of Teresa. Only one person congratulated her; I believe it was Chris Laurita who I think still really cares for Teresa and Juicy and is very uncomfortable with this whole storyline. I also think he realizes his wife is looking like a crazy person.
3) I am beginning to think the edit has shifted and is now favoring Teresa. They are now blatantly showing the jealousy and pettiness of Caroline and Jac. Last night’s episode showed a bunch of drunken fools pushing and shoving each other near a pool where there were kids playing. The past 2 episodes they showed the Wakiles in an unflattering light, drinking and acting inappropriately in front of children. And the clincher for me was that immediately after showing that scene they showed the clip of Melissa saying that they party but keep it classy. Be afraid of what’s coming Melissa, be very afraid.

I think the editing has changed and is now favoring Theresa more and I think its because the ratings have dropped since the premiere.
I remember a post on the Bravo Board that had the ratings for the first 4 shows and it looked like every episode after the premiere dropped big time.
I think the reunion and other factors caused a HUGE backlash.

Richie has come out on Twitter repeatedly and many have Retweeted him do he cannot delete his tweet, that he feels most of the Team Teresa fan base is contrived by Terrsa’s PR department. That we do not exist. That is what he has said verbatim.
Additionally, Richie is so fake he doesn’t even have the guts to keep his tweets. Last week he offended a bunch of ladies who only disagreed with him. They did not pull a punch. They were polite. He called them names. He talked about their looks that even other pseudo-celebs said Richie you have problem. He then deleted the tweets without apology. In social media that is the Kiss of Death. You Must acknowledge when you delete otherwise you become a total Fake. Richie is a want to be. He is not a housewife and he is such a loser.
I have to wonder how many $1.09 downloads of Melissa’s new single it takes to produce a new song and video not to mention choregraphy by Chris Judd. Who pays for this? The Gorga’s or Bravo? Based on Melissa’s answer to Andy at the reunion show I’d say Joe Gorga has to pay. It’s no wonder they’re having to sell their home and beach house. Melissa needs to give it up. Her autotune releases aren’t going any further than her Bravo fans. Not many people are into watching a mother of 3 with deformed implants crawl around a stage like a tiger, especially when she can’t even sing.
Carrie, I was just going to comment on the next God awful song!!!Im sorry in advance to hate on this, but the song is HORRIBLE. Sounds nothing like her. Whomever had the balls to call that a summer jam, needs their balls strapped to a slingshot! I think the only reason people produce this junk is to get some kind of promos for their business… but if this is what they produce, who would use them? I am not in the music biz, but we enjoy dancing in this family, by no means is that a jam. None of her songs are good. Take that back- the only part that is good, is that they are auto tuned. I cannot believe people waste their downloads to bump her up on iTunes… to each their own. Its also embarrassing that she encourages her fans to harass Pitbull to pay her attention, she uses Jlo’s ex hubby for dancing, and has the nerve to compare herself to Jlo..
