RHONJ Recap: Episode 2
So it’s only the second episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and I’m already getting irritated! In Sunday’s episode of RHONJ we see Ashlee attempt to move and Teresa apologizing once again. Let’s start off with Ashley since she opened yesterday’s episode.
Ashley/Ashlee Holmes: Who was surprised by Ashlee missing her flight? I’m sure each and every one of you are thinking ‘not me!’ Yeah, me either. I think it was a great idea to have Albie take Ashley to the airport. That way Jacqueline and Ashley don’t get into an unnecessary argument. What bothers me about Ashley is that she says the most ridiculous things that anyone can say. Here’s a young girl who’s been criticized since season 1 and she continues to say things like “I wish I was 21 so like I can get a drink and relax.” or “One time I drank a whole bottle of NyQuil.” It’s just sad that she has been given everything she has ever wanted yet she continues to be so childish and disrespectful. Now I know Ashley is going to go on a twitter spree and say “don’t talk about me if you don’t know me!” Ashley, here’s something you need to learn. You signed up for this show. You did. You agreed to the terms meaning people ARE going to judge you so it’s something you’re going to have to deal with. I think Chris Laurita is a great guy especially with Ashley. I don’t know many who would be as patient with her as Chris is.
Caroline Manzo: I feel like Caroline believes that you have to be skinny in order to be beautiful. I think she’s hard on Lauren and makes Lauren even more insecure then she really is. I just don’t agree with Caroline at all when it comes to Lauren’s weight.
Teresa Giudice: Teresa enters Jacqueline’s house and there is some serious tension. Teresa says in her interview that she feels like they’ve been talking about her. BINGO! When do they not talk about you? No, seriously. This is the second time we see Teresa apologize but what the hell? If that was me I’d stop after the first time! No matter what Teresa says, these people don’t care or don’t want to hear it so what’s the point of apologizing? Teresa asks her brother in front of everyone if he read her first book where she said so many good things about him. Joe then acts dumb and distant. Again, Joe Gorga is thee most horrible brother that has ever lived on this earth. He’s so cold and heartless. He clearly has never supported Teresa. Melissa then makes an unnecessary comment that Teresa is making money off of them. Newsflash. Teresa’s book came out in May and immediately became a best time seller book. We then heard in October on Season 3 that there were comments about Caroline. Again, almost 6 months after. Teresa’s book did great and is probably even doing better since no one will shut up about it!
Kathy Wakile: Love the relationship Kathy and Richie have with their kids. I also thought it was hilarious that Kathy’s son was getting photos from a girl. I think Kathy is just being very protective over him.
Joe Giudice: Oh that Joe Giudice! Joe stays home with the girls while Teresa goes to a book signing. I think for a guy being with 4 girls is a lot of work so I understand that he can get frustrated. He’s lucky to have Gia. She is older and helps him with the girls. I definitely think Bravo only airs negative parts of Joe because they want him to look like a bad guy. I also find it odd that he’s the only guy on the show that doesn’t get interviewed…Joe invites Albie, Chris Laurita, and Chris Manzo over. In Chris Manzo’s interview he talks about how Joe Giudice made a comment that he’s second best after God. Clearly Joe Giudice was joking and before this whole mess, the Manzo’s/Laurita’s would have thought it was hilarious. When Joe Giudice brought up Joe Gorga, the boys were acting awkward and yeah, I get that it’s uncomfortable but it bothers me that they don’t act uncomfortable when someone is talking about Teresa or Joe?
Melissa Gorga: Really cute what she did for Joe but OMG I’m over him only ever talking about sex. He reminds me of one of those guys who constantly acts like he’s always having sex when in reality he never is! He ruins every single moment! I think Melissa can’t sing. At all. But I think the song for Joe was cute.
Jacqueline Laurita: I’m glad her and Ashley are in a better place as of now.
Favorite part of the episode: MILANIA! She is the star of the show. “You’re not a cooker. You’re a hooker.” LOL! I don’t think she realizes what she says but she is just hilarious. I would truly watch a show that was 10 hours long if it was about Milania and her day!
Most annoying person in the episode: Joe Gorga. If the Manzo’s/Laurita’s still liked Teresa you bet you he would too!

I’m just irritated with the blatant editing against Teresa and Joe. Bravo isn’t giving the viewers a chance to be on Teresa’s side and they’re making Joe out to be a terrible father! All they showed of him with his girls was pouring a glass of wine and not rushing over when one of the girls got a boo-boo. I guarantee he’s just as good of a father as the other Real Housewives’ men. Poor Teresa. I just don’t want to see her get shat on all season long. This could get old fast :/

Joe and Meliss Gorga are disgusting and the worst brother and sister in law award goes to them hands down.
They are all so cold and hurtful. I hope Teresa finally has enough in next weeks episode and gives them all the finger. No more apologies! Those backstabbing coatail riders can eff off! I am so sick of Melissa, she thinks she can say and do all these horrible and cruel things to Teresa. I can’t stand Melissas face, her lies, her terrible wannabe singing, her using Teresa to make a name for herself. I just want to see someone punch Joe Gorgas lights out and tell Melissa to eff off. Pieces of sh*t that they are.

Teresa’s book one was on the best sellers list prior to any of this, so how is she using them to make money?” Joe is always being showed in a bad light and not supportive of Teresa but I think he is very supportive and Bravo doesn’t want to show it!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The hooker said “we’ll take one for the team so you could make some cash”. By coming on the show to bring Teresa down, Teresa took alot so the hooker could make some cash. It’s a wash.

THEY ARE THE ONES USING TERESA TO MAKE MONEY!
I hate how stupid they think we all are, do they really think we don’t see them abusing Teresa and using her to make a name for themselves? Teresa mentioned that you copy her in her cook book SO WHAT! YOU DO COPY TERESA MELISSA!!! If you don’t like being called out on it stop copying her! And Melissa get over yourself Teresas books make money because she has amazing recipes and people love her. I can’t stand you Melissa and if the only thing good about Teresas cook book was you being mentioned I would never buy it so don’t think people are buying Teresas books because your copying was mentioned, nobody likes you and everyone sees you for what you are A BIG NOBODY that lies, hurts and uses her own husbands family constanly trying to make a name for herself.
This episode told so much about the whole dynamic of the NJ housewives that I truly feel sorry for Teresa. Lets start with Jacqueline, I don’t like that woman not one bit. Here was her daughter getting kicked out and the mother was with the one son trying to get him to say bye bye Ashley etc. etc. in a really sarcastic way. And then we have Albie coming over to take her to the airport and what does this idiot do, he leaves her suitcase at the top of the stairs for Ashley to take down (she moved it out of her room so that Albie could take it and he didn’t). This tells me that He doesn’t like her at all. Then we have the Jacqueline at the door essentially giddy for her to leave.
I know that Ashley is a brat and did drink and stuff but Kelly Osborne was correct on WWHL, she said that stuff that she does is her way of crying for help. But what the idot right next to Kelly didn’t undertand (Jacqueline) is the fact maybe the problem is Jacqueline. I truly think that Jacqueline choosed Chris and his family over Ashley and she was able to tell. And the mother allowed it to happen and that is why there is such a grudge against the mother. In fact the mother can’t stop taking shots at her when possible. I think Chris is in an unattenable position, he has a flaky wife who has made Ashley hate her and anything he does to question that would blow up on him so he just kicks Ashley out. And yes if I was Ashley I would hold it against her.
Melissa and Joe Gorga are funny, because something tells me that they are just on the cusps of financial ruin. Joe is acting like he’s a big realestate developer and Melissa (this is funny) trying to sing her next song and she makes comment about singing more ballads and the producer says NO!!!!!!! The reason Melissa is so bent out of shape about Teresa saying to Joe that Melissa would leave him for a rich guy is the fact that Teresa was spot on. If you don’t believe me look at this link.

Oh and I still say that Joe needs to get a paternity test on at least the youngest kid. Something about being being born 9 months after her meeting with another of her ex’s at a Sushi Bar, and she was serving the sushi.
Joe Giudice is depressed (my opinion) because of all the stuff coming out and him losing the pizza place and other things and his wife being the sole bread winner of the family.
Also I think what I’m about to say is really important, up with Melissa cheating on Joe the midget. Remember the “wrestling match” that Wilke and Joe had in the gameroom during the poker get together. There where cameras down in the room during the whole mess, and then we didn’t have one mention of it on the WWHL from Andy or Jacqueline. I think Bravo edited out because something more was said than just let me see you get 8 inches in height. And for Andy not to make comment about it tells me something of a fight did happen and some very nasty words where said and possibly some secrets too.

@Buck henry…I, too, thought it was very odd and suspicious for Bravo to edit (black out, if you will) the fight with the men. Something very fishy about that, since we ALL know Bravo LOVES anything dramatic, and then Andy not mentioning it on WWHL was also suspect. I do, have to ask tho, what is this you are saying/suggesting about Melissa and the sushi lounge thing? I despise her and her vulgar husband, along with Mamamenopause.
I don’t think editing is always to blame when it comes to this show, as plenty of people want to blame the editing but in reality it’s just how they are. Now, with Juicy Joe I’ve never liked him, but I could have sworn that he has NO interest in doing the show and isn’t even interested in it, so why would he want to do the interview or whatever portion where he talks to the camera? I can’t really imagine him wanting to do that or doing that for that matter. He seems very uninterested in doing that and there’s nothing wrong with that. But back to the editing, I think Theresa is doing just fine editing wise. I’m more worried about next weeks episode though because I’m a bit disappointed in the argument that takes place between Melissa and Theresa about Melissa’s nephew not getting a present (birthday party or not, invited to her house or not I believe that he should have received a gift anyway.) And I believe it’s wrong to throw away presents, and you shouldn’t brag about it, but I am hoping that’s not true and Theresa was only saying that cause she was very angry. (Melissa gets her worked up a lot eh?) Still love Theresa though! She’s not perfect, and that’s what makes her so awesome.
I am tired of the cookbook drama, it’s starting to get a bit stale. It seems like they are starting to pull away from the cookbook and going to go into other .. issues. I still wish there were more fun moments, I understand Bravo wants drama and stuff but Season 1 and 2 had way less drama and was still super successful! and the earlier seasons of OC housewives wasn’t filled with drama in the beginning. I think a show could do just as well with more fun moments (85% of the time and maybe 15% drama…) That’s what I would do at least.
I agree with the last post. The editing is so unfair. Why is Bravo trying to destroy tre’s family? melissa seems harder this season. She looks so angry. I just dont understand why the Lauritas let Ashley film when she is out of control.
I dont know why but it is very obvious thats what they are doing. They even brought the men in to go after them. Like i want to hear what an over weight out of work baby christopher has to say about Joe G. Its really tough to watch. After last nights episode i am hoping Teresa refuses to sign back on with BRAVO and leaves for another network. I think if she does a spin off with BRAVO they will film her and the children the same as they are now.
If i were Teresa, i would not allow Joe or my children to be filmed anymore. They are abusing them by only showing the bad stuff. They have gone to far with this one. I dont understand the hatred for Teresa..

Chris was a complete bitch to Ashley and it was uncalled for. And jac who claims to be such a caring mother just let’s him talk to her like that. That really pissed me off. If Ashley didn’t make it to the gate chances are Albie didn’t drive her there early enough. But of course they would never take anything out on prince Albie.
the Manzo children are very rude to Ashley, this is a prime example of the type of people that Clown has raised.
JacAss should be completely ashamed of herself for allowing other people to due her dirty work. She should have put her foot down long ago, act like a mother. She wasn’t you confidant, JacAss. She wasn’t the reason you didn’t have your sh*t together. You show utter disrespect for your relationship with Ashley by allowing the Manzo kids to talk about her as if she’s beneath them and unworthy.
You and Clown have trashed Teresas parenting but you really have no business doing that. You have both produced kids who are ill mannered,dependent with bad attitudes. Clean you own house before trashing someone elses.
I don’t think we can blame bad editing on everything however I think it’s really easy to sit back and judge someone’s actions when we haven’t walked in their shoes.

I agree with you , but from what I have seen on camera I have never heard Teresa say anything bad about anyone ( the original casmates) I have heard the other talk about her not really Jac. I think that one of the problems was Teresa handle her problems different than most people she did not cry and hand her problems over to her friends to take care of them she let them say what they had to say and actually never considered what they said and did what she wanted to.
Maybe Caroline and Jac is kind of upset that both of their children have been involved in legal issues behind Teresa actions, but thats the gamble you take when you choose to get involved with drama.

It is bad editing when they only show negative shots and leave the positive out. Look at the outtake on bravotv of joe cooking for the girls and Teresa. Wonder why they didn’t put that on the show. Guess joe seemed too behaved in that scene.

They are so jealous and unhappy with their own lives so they tear Teresa down because it seems to make them think they are better when in reality they are jealous pieces of shit. They are nobodies and they don’t have the “it” factor like Teresa so they want to ruin her as punishment for their lack of talent. I swear if Bravo pushes another “Melissa can’t sing Gorga” song on us I’m going to kill myself. I have never seen women act so jealous and mean until Melissa joined this show, she is a nasty instigator and Kathy is a mindless follower. It would really suck being related to those bitches.
Joe and Teresa are as dumb as nails are in denial of how bad their situation really is and they are always fighting to be right and Teresa also talks about everyone else, it’s what a two face person does, as for the others why are they not allowed to express how her words have affected them doesn’t make sense and don’t give me that bullshit about every one talking behind her back you have all done it too that is why you all get so damn worked up over it and Joe Guidice doesn’t needed editing to make him look bad he does that all on his own he is a fraud and he will be doing time for that why should he get away with it and not any one else that has committed the same crime do time, you are all sad for not seeing that seriously
I say it is okay to express how you feel. But it never ends. The constant whining. Move on. They can’t cecause they have nothing going on and need to stay relevant. Otherwise what’s their storyline?
No one says Joe should get away with it. No one says either one of them are perfect.. They both made mistakes. Joes BIGGER than Teresas.. If Bravo isn’t intending to edit to show Teresa and Joe looking bad then why don’t they show the other things they talk about? I noticed in Jac’s kitchen, when only the women were in there, Teresa picked up her phone, no one was including her in conversation, so why not. Jac told her to put phone down and she did. I thought a bit odd. Was she supposed to be following a script and not be distracted on phone? Was Jac trying to keep her from looking preoccupied or rude, they hate her anyway. It was suttle but Jac looked odd telling a grown-up to put her phone down.
Teresa needs to tell them to go fuck themselves. They need to sto talking about Teresa and worry about their own messed up lives. Teresa just needs her own show so I don’t have to see these idiots trying to snatch Teresa’s crumbs.

I am getting sick of the BASH Teresa and Joe…The rest of the cast members need to ALL get a life..
And…I had to Fast Forward through the Ashlee scenes…I hate to see her on the screen.. WHile I understand her age may contribute to her issues …I can’t stand to watch it and have no idea why a mother would put the problems on camera.
PS…The Guidice gals stole the show tonight as always!!!
Awe, those girls are so sweet. It really is to bad that I did not see them. I watched Celebrity Apprentice instead. Tre will be on next week as well, and I will be watching her there. Why don’t you all join me and send a message to Bravo. The only way that Bravo is going to smarten up, and give us the viewers what we want is if we hit them where it hurts. That would be their pocketbook’s.

This episode really upset me. That Joe Gorga is something else, he really gets under my skin. How could just talk about his sister behind her back like that after he said they were going to start fresh and leave the past behind. As soon as he gets to Jac’s house he starts talking crap about his own sister. On top of that, of course Melissa has to mention that Tereasa said something hurtful about her and thats the reason Joe Gorga is not speaking to her even though they agree they were going to start fresh. It’s amazing how he becomes Tereasa’s enemy when he is around Caroline. How can Jac allow everyone to bash her good friend for 10 years who was loyal to her.
Then that scene when Tereasa enters in the Kitchen with her husband, it was just disgusting. Everyone was so cold and when Melissa made that comment about Tereasa making money off of them. Tereasa should of jumped over and kicked her ass. Now I undersatnd more why Tereasa doesnt have a relationship with Kathy and a lot of veiwers call her snake. Did anybody notice when Melissa made that nasty comment to Tereasa in the kitchen, Kathy started laughing? Who does that to there own blood?
Now we have Chris Manzo talking about how Joe Guidice changed. I dont think he changed I just think the Manzo boys are finding any excuse to stop associating themselves with him. Now that they are buddy buddy with the Gorgas. These people are just plain disgusting. The first 2 seasons I was not a fan of Tereasa but when her family came on I rooting for her. I truly wish her the best. As for her friends, family and viewers that were her fans saying that she did change for the worse. Tereasa did change but I find her to be more humble and becuase of that I like her even more.
Tereasa is really the star of this show. Her interaction with her husband and kids seems so real and natural. Her husband recieves so much negative comments but I really enjoy watching him. Yes, he does have a nasty mouth but you could tell he really adores the shit out of his wife and kids and when he had the money he use to spoil them as well. So it really annoys me when people comment about him be disrespectful towards his wife. Thats just the way he communicates and pretty sure he has been communicating like that for years and its not going to change. Its who he is and looks like it does not bother Tereasa, she’s been married to him for 10 years now. It’s her marriage and no one else.( I know some of you people who comment on here are going to disagree with me and maybe even bash me but thats how I really feel about him, sorry if I offend anyone).
As for the others, they are really boring to watch. Melissa and Joe Gorga scenes look so phony.

Another thought, I have felt Andy Cohen resents the push Teresa gave him at the reunion last year. He takes every opportunity to being it up and not in a teasing funny way. I know she was trying to get him to back off, he was grabbing her and fell backwards as much as it was a push. I think Bravo knows she won’t quit, she needs the money so make her the villan as she draws the most viewers.
Andy Cohen is a THE Jackhole. I watched all last week to see if he would apologize for calling Milania a brat. I didn’t see or hear it. But tonight Andy the Jackhole is all…….Milania is so cute and adorable. STFU Cohen. YOU NEED TO APOLOGIZE TO TRE.

Here’s a positive for Melissa and a negative.
The negative would be that I don’t understand why Melissa always tells Joe Gorga to not tell everyone about what Teresa says and then once Joe Gorga ends up revealing it, she adds in her two cents again ! If she truly meant it, she would end the conversation and not fuel the fire.
The positive would be that I agreed with her comment of “taking one for the team so you can make some extra cash”. I actually didn’t take offence to what Melissa had said. Since (sort of) negative things were said about Melissa and the Manzo’s, they did take one for the team ! They were hit and although they did bitch and moan about it, they (sort of) got over it… and she ended up making some cash.
On a side note, I think Melissa has an above average voice. I don’t think she’s fantastic but I do think she sounds better than the average person.
Also, I don’t think it was a big deal that Joe didn’t rush to the attention of his child just because his daughter was bleeding. That’s a tough attitude. I’m my daddy’s little girl but if I’ve got a small cut, it wasn’t ever a big deal. I’ve been taught to suck it up !

The scrap not cut on Adrianna’s knee was probable from falling down outside on the cement. If you look at it, it is not a cut but a scrap from falling. That is why Joe didn’t run over there because he probable all ready handled it earlier. Another way for Bravo to show Joe in a bad light. I don’t agree that the group took one for Teresa. Her first book was number one way before Melissa joined the show, so why would a couple of comments good or bad effect the selling of her book?
Teresa also wrote some REALLY NICE things in her book but, no one ever mentions that. I have the book and she wrote FAR MORE nice things in there about everyone than anything else. Why doesn’t anyone ever talk about that? Can;t take watching anymore. The Jakckhole 4 (love that name posted by another blogger) really are starting to make me ill!!

I dont know. I think Joe has a drinking problem or is on the way to one. He has the DUI on top of the fear we saw in Gias face the time he hurt himself last season. I do believe he has a problem..He wouldnt be the first person to turn to drinking after having so much money and legal trouble.

I mean, all we see is the girl crying at the table with an obvious skinned knee.. why didnt they show where she fell down and Joe maybe picked her up and took care of her? Ive watched all the HW shows from first season to current (shameful i know!) But i have never seen any of the other shows so obviously fake..I just dont know what their intentions are? Are they trying to ruin Teresa so they can fire her and she wont be popular enough to go to another network?

I disagree that what Melissa said wasn’t offensive. I thought it was incredibly bitchy—not even passive-aggressive, just straight-up mean.
I’ve never been an out-and-out Teresa fan, but Melissa is pushing me in that direction.
My 3rd time back. Melissa sounded so bad and producer sliding and adjusting sound on panel sure makes it entirely different on final product. Makes me think anyone that can’t carry a tune, like her, could put out a song if you had the money for studio and professional to make it sound good. With enough practice you can follow your own version and do it live.

Melissa practiced that line about taking on for the team in front of a mirror 250 times. You can tell from the unnatural delivery and from her ability to repeat the exact same delivery when Teresa asked what she said. It was a bit of planned malice that belies all her “for the good of the family” lies and proves that she talks one thing and does another. That was not spontaneous, that was planned and proves once and for all that Melissa is a schemer who truly does want the family divided and deliberately and cold-bloodedly is seeking to harm her Teresa, Joe and the children.
I thought that line was telling as well. She knew it would make the show & embarrass x& hurt Teresa and Joe. However, all she did was prove that her self-portrayal as the peacemaker, mender of families and sweetest girl on the block is total BS. I have never been a mel fan nor a tree fan, but that statement confirms who I wont be siding with ever.

This show has become almost unwatchable. I have a feeling that after the Teresa/Melissa fight next week I’m not going to be able to watch anymore. Teresa has given these bitches everything they want – an apology both public and private, group and individual. The only person who was even mentioned by name in the book was Caroline who has no right to be upset seeing how her own children slam Teresa ON CAMERA left and right while she says nothing to them (but that’s okay). And yet Teresa’s multiple apologies are not good enough for them?
I had posted a similar comment in another thread but I want you guys to see it because it is KILLING me. Did anyone read Jacqueline’s blog from last week? She confirms in it that she and Caroline are jealous of Teresa’s cookbook success. I don’t think she even realizes that she said it. She mentions that there had been “talk” of the Manzo/Lauritas doing a family cookbook “since day one”. I don’t know what “day one” means but that’s what she is claiming. But here is where Jacqueline obviously states that there is jealousy going on:
“when she got to work and actually did what my family had only talked about, I thought, ‘Good for her.’ And I was very proud of her. I think the problem was that Teresa wanted to be the ONLY authentic Italian cook, and she wanted to make sure that she kept that title.”
Interesting choice of words, Jac. “Actually did what my family had only talked about”. As far as being the ONLY authentic Italian cook, she’s referring to Teresa’s joke about Caroline being 1/16 Italian. Basically, she is saying that Teresa put that in her book to make readers think that Caroline’s cooking is not real Italian food JUST IN CASE she ever publishes a cookbook to discredit her. Caroline doesn’t even have a cookbook because nobody would publish it! So what is Jacqueline even talking about? Is this what all the big fuss is over? Is this why she is demanding the apology? Because she’s pissed that Teresa’s book got picked up and hers didn’t? They are mad because Teresa is more marketable than they are and receiving more opportunities as a result. She actually came out and said it.
Jacqueline must have been drinking wine again when she wrote that blog because she doesn’t realize that she revealed that little tidbit. That “we are secretly jealous that Teresa’s cookbook got picked up and ours didn’t so we’re going to create fake scenarios where we think she’s trying to discredit our heritage” gem. OOPS, JACQUELINE!!
She’s also kind of trying to imply that Teresa stole their idea to do a family cookbook. When in reality, NOBODY would publish Caroline’s book while publishers couldn’t wait to get their hands on Teresa’s! The truth is that Teresa is popular, people know her, recognize her, relate to her and LIKE her. She’s got star power. Caroline and Jacqueline do not and the only way they can keep themselves in the news is by holding Teresa’s name in their mouths. And that makes them furious.

While the Manzo/Laurita clan sits around wishing they COULD do shit, Teresa actually DOES it. She has been and continues to be offered opportunities left and right while Caroline’s ventures have failed to take off and Jacqueline has done nothing but drunkenly tweet. It is so glaringly obvious that they are seething with envy over Teresa’s success. They can’t stand it. And the extra nail in the coffin for Caroline is the fact that Teresa is still friends with Dina yet Caroline does not even speak to her. That must really chap her ass.

One thing I noticed about last nights episode was that Albie said something to the effect that Caroline and Teresa were having issues but they didn’t have issues with Joe Giudice and that’s why they went over to hang out. So, that makes me wonder if this is all really about the cookbook and not about the fight in the Dominican Republic. If all this is really about the cookbook, that’s just asinine.
Melissa, Kathy, Joe Poison and Richie are so happy when everyone is talking about Teresa. Melissa and Joe don’t care about putting the family back together–they just want the spotlight on them.
Jacqueline could have easily shut everyone down at her house. But, she eats the discord up too. UGH. Get rid of all them. Better yet, keep Melissa and Kathy and bring on Penny so they can get a taste of their own medicine.
They all keep saying to wait until the season progresses & all will be revealed. While I think a good part of this is punta cana, I don’t believe they’d talk about it on show (legsl) so there must be more. I do not for a second believe this has a thing to do with the cookbook. Morning Yawn brings up this important (to me) point because the convoluted timelines are part of the reason these women seem so extreme in their reactions to Teresa. When you combine the skewed events with the slanted editing it makes it much more difficult to sympathize with where these women are coming from. If they do have legitimate causes to be this angry at Teresa about, you wouldn’t know it from the way the story is presented.
(Has the Punta Cana event already occurred at this point in the story as part of last season’s trip? Even if you factor in the brawl it still doesn’t explain how grown men could blame Teresa for their actions.)

Did anyone first notice that Melissa stopped Joe from revealing what Teresa had said but then after he shut up she brought it right back up Hello if you didn’t want to talk about why say but if you knew what she sad you would understand. Over her fakeness, I do think they have a nice family. I think that Melissa gets tired of Joe with all the sex talk. I think he does that for the camera (trying to hard). Another thing Melissa hair looks way darker this season.
As for Joe Guidice I think that they only show the bad things he do, and he as alwyas said the craziest things they just don’t like them anymore. He may seem a bit bothered and mad because of his frustration with the show I think that he is so over T brother and Richy. And who is more arrogant than Richy and he has a bad mouth as well. Joe Gorga just different than any man that I have been around.
One more thing if you guys can think back I though Ashlee wanted to move to Vegas or somewhere out that way last season and they wooldn’t let her??? Did anyone catch Christofur call the Guidice girls ‘ho’s? It was during the scene where he and Dull-bie go over to drink wine with Joe Guidice. He says something about having to watch out for Milania stabbing him and fending off the other ‘ho’s. We rewound it and played it again. He definately refers to the little girls as ho’s.

In the interest of fairness it must be noted that Christopher DID NOT say “ho’s,” he said “…all the little “ah’s” they have running around,” as in, Gi(a), Gabriell(a), Milani(a) and Audriann(a).
That said, he definitely was taking a shot at the kids given the derisive way he said it plus the expressed sentiment itself about worrying they might try to stab him.

there is nothing “real” about season 4 of this show…the editing is beyond horrible and Team Manzo all the way. I also noticed that Joe Giudice is THE ONLY MALE ON THE SHOW THAT DOES NOT GET INTERVIEW TIME! The scenes with Joe Gorga and Melissa are so scripted…the only thing he ever talks about is sex and the only thing she ever talks about is her music and Teresa!! do these two ever spend any time with their children?? I noticed on Twitter that their daughter had to have her birthday party at one of Melissa’s events in Chicago!! and that their son who just turned two had an adult birthday dinner with a bizarre piece of cake … so he does not even get a whole cake??do they not make enough money to have a real birthday party for their children?? They seem to be more worried about their own premeire parties….and Mel’s music career…their children are just “accessories” in their lifestyle that’s all about Melissa!! It’s obvious that Caroline Manzo is running this season and is trying her hardest to get Teresa fired…but Teresa rises above and still promotes Melissa song, Kathy’s drink, and she even promoted BLK water last year!! did we see any of the other cast members promote anything that Teresa was doing?? NO! and Teresa is STILL more successful than all of them!! Teresa does not need this fake show or any of the fake people in it! The whole episode was so disturbing. Bravo showing Joe Gorga at work (when does he REALLY work..he’s usually following Mel around), walking down the street pointing out all the buildings he bought for his children. Then of course the Guidices in the closed pizza bldg. discussing all their woes financially. Bravo just had to try and make the Gorgas look better than the Guidices. It was really very sad. And then the dinner at Jac., AWKWARD! This network is really doing a hatchet job on these families and unfortunately, we contribute by watching every week. Makes me mad at myself. I just keep hoping I see some type of reconciliation, but we already know it doesn’t happen, so I am really tired of watching this train wreck.
Teresa has inspired me in so many ways, she has shown me how to pick myself up in the face of adversity and keep moving, she shown me how to take the talents I take for granted and cash in on them. Mostly I learned that everything is temporary. You may up one day and facing hardships the next. I also have learned from watching Teresa’s toxic relationships, to run and not walk away and not look back. Teresa has everything going for her and she deserves it as she works for it and no one is giving it away.
Due to the Bravo editing, I am no longer watching any housewives programs.

I just can’t watch anymore… It is all too sad. This week will be my last. Watched it before work and I was fast forwarding throughout the whole show. Wanted to watch about 10 minutes. It is a shame that my favorite show is so horrible. For some reason I feel like all the other housewives shows drama is just funny. This makes me annoyed. And angry.
Everyone keeps blaming the editing, but in reality all those words that all these people say, still came out of their mouths!!!!!!!!!! No matter what editing they did, they all said it. They need to drop the cookbook storyline and come up with a different one. They also need to cut horny little man Joe Gorga, enough of him and the poison. You know he is not getting any. The less you get the more you talk about it.

All this episode done was to make me root for Teresa and Joe even more, the tension when tre walked into jacs house was unbearable I could barely watch. The guys are now turning on Joe which all coincidently happens when Caroline is pissed with tre?? Also why was the scuffle not shown? The only plausible reason is because richie wud have looked bad, nothing to do with physical violence just look at season 1 & 2!! How can anyone watch this episode and not have compassion for Teresa? Her “friends” and family talk behind her back non stop and no one has a nice thing to say. That scene in Jac’s kitchen was straight out of high school. Doesn’t anyone want to reach out and embrace Teresa and Joe while they are struggling? Maybe they got themselves into the position they’re in, but “there but for the grace of God go I”. Teresa is in it for the long haul, and instead of focusing on her troubles, she focuses on what’s GOOD. That doesn’t make her stupid, it makes her optimistic-and admirable in my opinion.
Melissa loves her life “right now” because she has material wealth and a husband who gives her anything she asks for. Teresa loves her life no matter what because she is married to a man she truly loves and supports for richer or poorer. Teresa you’re an inspiration to me and many others. Caroline was never your friend-remember that. She has said it herself, so all those times you thought you were confiding in a friend, you weren’t. She is just one of those people that likes to stick her nose in everyone’s business, then spread it all over town. She did it with Danielle, and now she’s doing it to you.
I’m not sure I can watch anymore, and I was determined to watch every episode to see Teresa succeed. It’s just too aggravating to not see Teresa get at least a small win EVER. I am holding out a small hope that Bravo is showing us all this mean spirited Manzo hate to turn the tide in T’s favor-otherwise, why caption the snide comments everyone was making in Jac’s kitchen? I think Bravo wants us to see just how ugly the Manzo/Lauritas/Gorgas are to Tre-and these are HER FRIENDS AND FAMILY. I think if I were Tre, I would have left the party. The Guidices need to remove their daughters from the show – the majority of people I know would be alarmed to see some of Milania’s behavior directed toward Audrianna. If you don’t want people commenting on your parenting skills and children’s behavior, please don’t put them out there. Milania has a great deal of personality, but there are all kinds of red flags popping up every time we see her. Rudeness, disrespectfulness and aggression are not acceptable traits w/ children (or adults). Not an attack folks, just genuine concern: this is not funny in any way. The Manzo Munchkins don’t need momma’s protection – they are adults and fair game since they are getting paid to make complete jackasses of themselves.
We’ve seen Milania standing on her sister, swing Audrianna around and then plop her on the couch and other like-actions. BFD! Stop acting like she was pushing her off a roof or something.
It’s called “horseplay.” Normal, non-couch-potato kids do it everyday.

My jaw dropped more than once during this episode. I think the first was when Poison Joe actually said his wife, “…doesn’t get any buildings, all she gets is this,” and then Gentleman Joe actually mimed the universal “Suck it,” two-handed crotch-point. Yeah, he’s a real keeper that one. Talk about you can dress him up but you can’t take him anywhere. And people wonder why Teresa was loathe for the congenital idiot to appear on camera.
Next there is Lauren. She actually said that she didn’t feel she was getting the proper respect at her make-up bar at the OPENING, so she folded her tent THE NEXT DAY and gave up. And she, and her do-nothing brothers are going to criticize the show’s poster child for lack of ambition and apathy, little Miss Ashley?
Speaking of Ashley, did we really see Jacqueline send her daughter off to the airport (both tries) without a kiss and hug goodbye at the door? She said goodbye to her like it was the cleaning lady leaving for the day.
My absolute favorite scene thought was when everyone’s pretend contender for Mother of The Year, Kathy heard her 15 year-old son say he was going to a house party where the parents would be home but despite that there was going to be alcohol served.
Then, without a hint of irony, Kathy says all she can do is “monitor” what her kids do. I’m from NJ too and I know that every year there is always a tragedy with high-schoolers being killed because they left a house-party drunk and attempted to drive home. For me, if my 15 year-old said there was going to be adults present AND drinking, not only would he or she not be going to that party but I would have contacted the homeowners, asked them did they know that the rumor was there was going to be alcohol at the party. If they said they did (you know, being hip parents and all), not only would I tell them that my kid is not only not going but if I hear there was one underage kid drinking at the party I will make sure the proper authorities know. I also would let as many parents of kids that I knew know what the party plan was. That, is responsible parenting. Not beaming at your kids all the while implicitly condoning irresponsible, illegal behaviors that have claimed the lives of so many children. Children exactly the same age as that brat of theirs. And don’t kid yourself. That kid may be riding the crest of their faux celebrity now (sophomore class president) but his cock-of-the-walk attitude is guaranteed to get him a beat-down at some point or another. And that’s not a “Jersey thing” that’s an, out-of-control-teenage-ego thing.
And, not for nothing, but why was Richie on the couch “pretending” to look at his phone? For anyone who recorded it, run the scene back and you will see what appears to be a shell of a phone casing being held by Richie. You can actually see the stripes on his shirt move through the Apple icon as holds the phone and shifts/breathes while sitting. My eye catches anomalies that other people do not. Someone please take the time to look for this and then tell me what you see. It begs the question, if the phone is a ‘prop’ what the hell else is being deliberately faked.
And for sure, the frying meatballs was supposed to convey the united front between Jax and Caroline against Teresa. Anyone who saw that Rachel Ray throwdown got the reference. Me? I got agita just looking at those grease-soaked softballs.
Oh well, if they want to portray themselves as being unresponsible parents let them.
They had better not try to tell us it was all a joke, I have watched and read her son’s tweets, and this child is definitely going down the wrong path. I’m sorry, but I did not watch, so I can not tell you if I saw the apple icon’s on Ritchie’s shirt.
Im so over Asslee I fast forward thru any scene that she is in. Caroline and her drooping face and nose literally turn my stomach. There is absolutely nothing nice about this so called woman. She is certainly no lady at any level and is just plain miserable acting and looking. I cannot stand this woman and I hope that she reads these blogs (although I know she feels she is too good to do so). The Manzo boys went from being charming and funny to just revolting with very bad manners. I don’t see them as even funny any longer and I think that they are just losers looking for a fast ticket. Melissa’s bad acting job once again at the Teresa bash fest and Kathy’s stupid smiles, Rich’s disgusting behavior and Joe midget boy’s smirks completely made me sick. These people are bullys and disgusting fame whores. I will continue to say it….if I were Teresa I would have absolutely nothing to do with any of them. She can let her parents get the kids together but I would want nothing to do with my brother and his slut of a wife after this.
Almost forgot. I taped last night’s WWHL (the only other one I watched was when Caroline was on). Just watched it. Could C-Andy have looked anymore pissy than he did when the poll revealed that 60 percent of the responders thought Teresa’s apologies should have been accepted.
About that. If Teresa ‘apologizes’ to one more person I may give up on the whole thing. It is one thing to try and make nice. It is quite another to become a sacrificial lamb.
Helen Wheels…… I watched WWHL last night too…… Was that the question? I interpreted the question as ‘did we believe that Teresa’s apologies were sincere’? (Of course, have to admit that I was dozing on & off while watching, lol…..) You’re probably right on the question & I’m ‘thrilled’ for a huge Teresa fan……:)
The way I look at it is that IMO Bravo honcho’s who do the editing are purposely editing Teresa & Joe negativately & have been since last season…. Even the last reunion was where they all ganged up on Teresa ‘including’ Andy who was harsh…… Bottom line, there’s no way Teresa & hubby, Joe are going to shown in any way that is positive this season……That’s unfortunate…..
I actually don’t care about the rest of the cast for with all the family drama last season & so far this season, it’s just too intense & public…… Don’t care for any of the others including the Manzo boys due to the the things they’ve said about Teresa & her family of which were aired…..
Now, when it comes to Ashlee/Ashely I have different opinions on her than most of you…..JMO, however, I feel that Jacqueline has exposed her daughter over the past seasons in addition to this one by obviously knowing that her daughter had issues including mother/daughter issues & still allowed her to be filmed on the show. She was a minor & only Jacqueline or her real father could have signed off on that, which obviously one of them did. Perhaps that was Jacquelin’s storyline?! Again, in my opinion, Ashley isn’t perfect by any means but I doubt if many ‘real’ mothers would advertise it & make it public to the world on a reality show of their minor daughter..Yes, perhaps Ashley wanted to be on t.v. but at the same time Jacqueline, as the adult, had the final say due to Ashley being a minor…. This only brought negative bashing from strangers via twitter, blogs, etc. towards Ashley in ‘real life’ for again, due to the editing Bravo only showed the so called spoiled bratt side of her, which her mother ‘allowed’… I’ve always beleived there’s envy & resentment issues on Jacqueline’s behalf towards her daughter, perhaps due to having her so young, feeling she missed out or whatever the reason is, there are envy issues of some form going on in that so called mother/daughter realtionship….. Again, my only conclusion is that it was Jacqueline’s only story line at that time & it appears this season as well in addition to the bashing of Teresa……. JMO…..:)

I believe she meant that Milania reminded her of how Ashlee was like when Ashlee was YOUNGER. Someone is over-sensitive, and since we do not know how Ashlee was like as a child don’t go flinging around how its such an insult. Calm down.
Helen, I certainly respect your opinion, but Milania’s treatment of Audrianna is far from most “normal horseplay” I have seen – yeah, all siblings get into it and push and shove, sit on each other, hit each other (mine did too!) so I totally agree with that. I am sure there are many times not on film that Milania is nice to Aud. and delightful. But often, poor Audrianna is just walking by, non-provoking, and Milania pounces on her. And when she cries, I don’t see Milania acting sorry or comforting. I just really don’t think this forum of being displayed on TV is working in Milania’s (or the others’) best interests, especially since their parents are under a lot of stress and strain. Children who are overly aggressive and disrespectful to their parents are not what most people want from their children. Sorry, but I am not Teresa’s friend, altho I think there is much that is likable about her, so I am willing to put it out there that I am not attacking her parenting, but she needs to get some professional help with this. I have worked with children for years, and I can assure you there are some issues here. Just my opinion and truly hope the best for their family. Please don’t take this as slamming her children – I know they adore their girls, and they have a lot of personality and seem like sweet little girls who are unfortunately caught up in a lot of turmoil and sadness in their family, immediate and extended.
I really hope we don’t have to hear more about Joey’s “poison” – it is really gross to hear! Seriously. They are married. I assume they have sex, I don’t need to hear details. TMI!
This episode just affermed my feelings regarding Kathy’s voice. It is so annoying, almost as annoying as Sheree’s (she takes the cake).
Finally watching Ep 2…most disappointing part…was after hearing Melissa’s Ballad in preview and thinking it was better than On Display, that she actually got singing lessons. I see her *trying* to sing it in the basement…YIKES!!! Then Bravo thinks I am so DUMB that when the guy tells her to think of Joe and sing it…OMFG it’s perfect because I am soooo stupid I can’t tell it’s autotuned!!! PLEASE!!! Now I know why she just played it for him and did not actually sing it to him. A real singer does that.
