RHONJ Recap: Just A Buncha Contradicting Liars!
Dang. What an episode! Sunday aired part 2 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion and I’m just ready for it to end! I’ve come to the conclusion that all the housewives in one way or another are a bunch of contradicting liars who are desperate and just plain old fake! So let’s get started!
I saw a different side to Kathy on Sunday’s episode. I have always had a love/hate relationship for Kathy. One day I like her and the next I see she’s a complete fake. I personally feel like if all the ladies were to come into the reunion loving Teresa, she would love Teresa. She just seems like a follower. She follows how everyone else feels. Kathy was being very cold to her cousin Teresa on the reunion which really confused me because Kathy and Teresa ended off on a good note. Perhaps it’s because Kathy wants to secure her spot for next season so she’s showing producers that she’s bringing the drama with Teresa? Who knows? What I do know is that she was probably the most annoying and the most fake of the bunch. I just can’t seem to forget that she was the one who wanted peace with Teresa but completely changed her tone at the reunion.
Moving on to Caroline Manzo. Oh that Caroline! Caroline takes advantage of Teresa. She’s actually very smart. Let’s be honest, sometimes Teresa doesn’t have a great way of expressing her feelings and that’s been clear to just about everyone and Caroline is especially fully aware! Caroline claims she was so “hurt” that Teresa called her a c u next tuesday but did Caroline forget that she has LITERALLY been bashing Teresa on every episode throughout season 4? She claims she just wants an apology from Teresa yet when Teresa apologizes she doesn’t want to accept it? How about Caroline just stops asking and moves the hell on with her life!
So is Caroline a bully? Indeed she is! Caroline uses condescending remarks and has been that way all season. She is also upset and bitter about Teresa being friends with Dina which makes no sense considering she is friends with Melissa and Kathy. She tried comparing the two friendships which I found odd since Teresa and Dina have been friends for over 10 years! Caroline is just upset with Teresa because she remained friends with Dina while Caroline and Dina stopped speaking.
Let’s talk Melissa Gorga! Melissa claims she’s moving out of her house because she doesn’t want her kids going to the same school as Teresa’s kids. What a bunch of BOLOGNA! I literally was laughing my butt off when she said that! She doesn’t want her kids being around Teresa’s kids and they don’t even go to the same school? What happened to “I just want us to be a family.”Does that mean since Melissa is moving that she will never allow her kids to speak to Teresa’s kids? She also claims shes moving to be away from Teresa yet she still wants to continue to be on Teresa’s show? Oh. Well that makes sense!
Here’s how I look at it: Melissa Gorga has been dying to live this life. She has been desperate to be on TV and she was actually jealous of Teresa and the fact that Teresa was on a hit show and became a reality star. She was so desperate that she reached out to Danielle Staub and it’s been reported that she made a tape to Bravo telling them she was going to take Teresa down if they put her on the show. That she did! Hope she’s happy about it!
Now let’s talk Melissa’s singing. Teresa hasn’t been negative about Melissa’s singing, she just thinks Melissa never actually sings and she’s not wrong about it either! Melissa thinks Teresa is being negative when Teresa talks about her singing and states that she has NEVER said anything negative about Teresa’s cookbooks..two seconds later Melissa says that none of the recipes in Teresa’s cookbooks are hers and that their all her mothers. Melissa then adds that she has never seen Teresa cook! Interesting. Didn’t Mel just say she has never said anything negative about Teresa’s cookbooks? Melissa then sings for Teresa and it was extra shaky and awkward. Teresa gives Melissa a compliment and tells her she sounds good but Melissa doesn’t want to hear it. It’s as if anything Teresa says or does is wrong whether it’s good or bad! Melissa has also stated in her first Bravo blog ever that if the show affected her family, she would leave the show! Another lie. It looks like she’s actually loving every minute of what’s going on. Melissa later calls herself the victim throughout the show which was silly because everyone knows that if a person has to call themselves a victim that they are actually not a victim! And on that note, Teresa states she’s not fake and Melissa points out that if you have to say you’re not fake that you actually are fake. Interesting considering Melissa has pointed out on her Bravo blog at least 5 times that she herself is not fake. So does that mean she’s calling herself fake? Damn these housewives! They just don’t know when to shut the heck up! I can’t keep up with their contradiction and lies! Melissa needs to realize she got on the show because she’s related to Teresa Giudice. She’s living this “dream” because of Teresa so if anything, she should show some respect!
Joe Giudice finally enters the building! You can’t help but laugh at him considering it’s so obvious that he doesn’t want to be there. The reunion shows a clip of Teresa and Joe renewing their vows which was just plain old awkward! I think I covered my eyes to be perfectly honest! Speaking of honesty, the show should be called ‘The Teresa Giudice Show’ since it revolves around her and only her! Andy asks about the mysterious phone call and Joe Giudice gives some excuse that isn’t really believable but I could care less because the scene just makes me cringe and I do believe that Joe is sorry for what he said to Teresa and am glad he acknowledged it and regretted what he said. I also think Teresa makes a great point when she notes that she isn’t going to divorce him over it and notes “till death to them part.”
Jacqueline is then asked about Teresa’s marriage. Jacqueline says she isn’t going to go there and anyone who follows Jacqueline on twitter knows that Jac has gone there and has bashed Teresa’s marriage for a year now! Teresa tells Jacqueline to say how ever she feels because Teresa isn’t scared to hear what Jac has to say. Teresa points out that Jacqueline has told T that Chris cheated on her and that’s why he’s not “allowed” to go anywhere. Jacqueline then gets upset and says “since were talking about the truth…” and claims Joe Giudice cheated on Teresa with just about everyone. The babysitter, the secretary, the teacher, the garbage lady, heck he even cheated on Teresa with his daughters lunch lady at school! I found it funny that Jacqueline said she wouldn’t comment on Teresa’s marriage and immediately commented on it after T exposed Chris for cheating on Jac. Jacqueline then says that Danielle Staub even said Joe was hanging out with a stripper. That made me LOL considering Jac has always called Danielle a liar yet she’s quoting her?
I’m over this season and I can’t wait for the reunion to be over! Next week looks crazy and my heart truly breaks for Teresa crying for her brother..so let’s discuss! Thoughts on the episode?

I used to get excited for reunions, now its just a damn shame what goes on. Grown women should not get to this point, especially family and fiends for almost 2 decades. I wish just one time, Teresa would freak the hell out , scream and look them dead in the eye and shut them all down at once!!!

Man, I missed last night’s reunion because I came home from work, and I went straight to sleep! This reunion seemed worse than last week. Crazy! I hope the ratings dropped big time, but I doubt it. =/ Andy and Bravo ruined this season big time! I never look forward to watching reunions anymore, but I’m glad this dark show is almost over.
I don’t look forward to this, if things don’t switch up, I am not watching.

Srt_3 I agree with you and Michers and maybe she should just GO FOR IT!!! Freak out and start smacking these wenches. If she’s going to get crucified no matter what she does she might as well smack some of those wenches down with her words of course. Seriously it would be so easy to knock down every argument and counter it with time and dates that these bitches have attacked and went behind her back. She would shut them down so fast. Teresa would of been smart to hire and investigator to do an extensive background check on each of those wenches and then pulled it out at the reunion. She might as well since they like to shoot out bullshit lies about her.
If she learns anything from being around Donald Trump he doesn’t take shit from no one. I read one of his books on business and he talks about bullies and how to handle them. Theres a reason why he is so successful. He’s a risk taker, not a shit taker, and he knocks bullies right between the eyes when they have tried to assault his character. He has managed to do well and to knock them on their asses. I have a lot of respect for someone who deals with a bully or bullies in a way that is classy but also puts them on notice that they won’t take shit from no one, when it comes to their family and lively hood. No one has messed with that guy. Teresa if you haven’t already you need to read all of his books. They are interesting and give you great insight into how and why he is sooo successful!

Bravo and Andy own the responsibility for a producer having a biased relationship with the cast and for setting up scenarios to favor some cast members over others, neither of which is reality. Andy owns accountability for showing conversations and phone calls fictionally cobbled together. Andy owns responsibility for showing a timeline on the show that is fictional. Andy and Bravo own responsibility for children getting bullied on the show by adults. Andy shows he is unwilling to own his involvement of that and come clean, one result of which was Rosie making physical threats on camera ( can anyone say restraining order). I had though Bravo will proceed more honorably, more honestly, more humanly after their involvement in the death of Russell Armstrong. They have not, bravo and Andy have become worse.
Totally agree with you. Entertainment has crossed over to upsetting I don’t watch it live. I watched the first one on fast forward so was more bearable. I wish u would write your comments on Andy’s blog or write to bravo as I brink they reflect the viewpoint of many.
This show is a nightmare…..I cannot believe grown women act like that. It is too crazy not to be somewhat scripted. I actually had an idea that the women would all come together in friendship and say “We Fooled you, It was all an act” But that did not happen.
I am done with Bravo. They scripted this show. I still do not know what Teresa did so bad. She is very self centered and concieted, but since when is that a crime. I am shocked how she held her head up high with all the adversity. I would have run for the hills

In other words, balls to this story until it’s confirmed by someone who’s credible.
Which doesn’t change the fact that nobody gives a rat’s ass even if it IS true, and fwiw if it were Teresa I wouldn’t care either — it might actually make her interesting (or human, at least) outside of being a psychotic nut.

Please try to help her lie out of that one. Something else interesting about this story with her shoplifting is that she still has an open warrant, now how is she going to be able to go there and perform her latest single at Gator World? Also, this news while i agree big deal shoplifting at eighteen but is shining a light back on her old girlfriend and i believe new details will continue to pour out.

I never bother on any ifs or forums whatever.. This is the first time in my life I actually cared about any person on tv especially reality. I haven’t bought one single Teresa product and I don’t even care about celebrities or anyone. I have become so upset with what I was clearly seeing happen from the first episode Reresa’s family came on. I wish they could be close but that’s not how it is. I have been a witness to talk show hosts that are friends of Andy Cohen speak to T as if she is a child abuser while talking to other “evil” guests with much more respect. I’m so disgusted.
Btw the social media episode of RHNJ is clearly picked by people who take sides.
And Anderson Cooper repeating the same story on his show and on Jimmy Dallin about T saying they filmed for LIKE 10 hours from 10 to 10 whatever and making a dig about how she can’t do math, making it seem like a random silly thought he had but really kept repeating the same damn story. And about mentioned Teresa’s brother in law tweeting him tryin to make it seem like he is bullied now. I have a whole new view of Anderson now.

Exactly, I’ve never posted on any blog about any show before this season of RHNJ (that I can recall). RHNJ started out as a guilty pleasure, something that was a nice distraction. I’d work on planning my week while mostly just listening to the show. And, I don’t know, my heart just breaks for Teresa. She isn’t a saint, but she doesn’t deserve this.
This was me! I use to watch the marathons while doing laundry on sunday nights. But they are so dark and depressing i cant stand to watch them more than once. The first time is nearly too much. I will not watch next season with or without Teresa. Hope she gets a spin off, otherwise im out.
Same here Bren.. And I agree, no saint but did not deserve this. She keeps trying to say she doesn’t care what they say, and maybe now year later she doesn’t , but I think you can see hurt in her eyes especially about Jax and JoeGo.
I also went to the doctor this year to see if I was menopausal. I also am not, but I should not be surprised because unlike Caroline, I am actually human…

Michers, I had horrible PMS myself(I was a bi+ch with a capital B) and I went through menopause without a problem.
Sorry, I did have hot flashes and that was about it.
My friends and I have noticed that those with hysterectomies had a harder time. And those that started HRT had a real hard time, and were miserable until their dosage was working properly.
UGH- so dreading. Hysterectomies run in this family..Yay- the joys of being a woman!!

Anderson Cooper is a shit head and I stopped watching his show right after he had Teresa on his show. If I had been Teresa I would of told his ass to piss off when they wanted to invite me back to try to make themselves look good after being such an asshole to her. the funniest part of the reunion was when Caroline said when she first met Kathy and Melissa she was horrible to them. Teresa replied “that wasn’t because of me, that’s just how you are”. LMAO- she didn’t even say it maliciously, just very matter of fact.

I’ve never seen them congratulate her EVER! In fact one of the turning moments on the show for me was in S3 before Punta Cana, when they were all still pretending to be Tre’s friend. Watching the Manzo kids in the car diss Teresa and her books and try to pass it off as joking was so telling to me. I mean, at this point, Tre was the only one that had anything going on besides the show (and to be honest not much has changed.) She knows she can’t sing, because right after she sang those couple of lines of the song, she was making excuses for why it sounded bad. I’m shaky, I’m nervous, etc., making excuses for the way her singing sounded. Her voice isn’t terrible, but she cannot sing like a professional with a natural professional, and beautiful voice. She knows that without autotune, that she is not a good singer. Any time she sang on the show, without autotune, she always made excuses for the way her voice sounds. She knows, and that is why she lays down the track with autotune, and then she lip synchs when she sings in public, because if she had to sing outright at a show, she is not good. I also like the way, that she says she wasn’t a dancer, never even dances for her husband, but we have seen her on stage dancing, and dancing on a table at Greg’s birthday party. Who do they think they are pulling something over on? The viewers are not idiots, and we are tired of them thinking and acting like we are. We are catching all the lies and contradictions, because unlike them, we remember what they said one time, and then the next time, it is something different. She says Teresa attacks her singing, which she never did, other than to say she would like to see her perform her songs live. Then Melissa goes on to say she doesn’t attack Teresa’s cooking, but she said that we all know your mother cooks the dish, and then you tweet the photo. Melissa has claimed that Teresa’s mother does the cooking, even at home, not Teresa. I was glad that even Joe Giudice told her she was full of crap, because she came on the show saying that she just wants the family to be together and get along, and that was such a load of crap. Obviously, he was saying that Melissa cares nothing about the family being together and be a loving family that gets along. Does Melissa really believe that everyone doesn’t see through the garbage she is trying to sell the public on?

I have not watched either of these reunion episodes and the recaps I’m reading on the blogs assure me that I made the right decision. I only watched about half of this season all together. I’d skip weeks, tune in and see that the same bullshit that was happening when I stopped watching was still going on. The addition of Melissa and Kathy ruined this franchise. If all five of these ladies returns next season, I definitely will not be tuning in. At this point, RHONJ is like a broken record. Just playing the same song over and over.

I wish Tre could articulate herself better. Bullying isn’t just someone doing stuff, it can be someone not doing stuff, subtle glances, rolling eyes. Plus women tend to bully relationally anyway. In other words, they’ll just get all your girlfriends to hate you before punching you. Caroline can be a bully because she can be self righteous, condescending, and dismissive. She knows the pull she has with the other ladies. Her comments under her breath during those trips were influential and stoked the fire with everyone else. And it is bullying if you loudly protest you will never be friends with someone who has tried to apologize to you, especially when you know the other person is already at the bottom of the groups popularity poll. Walking away is one thing. Repeatedly going on to people about how horrible they are is trying to convince people to think like you.
That being said…I’ll be honest. Yes…I think Tre was mad her family came on the show (a little jealous). But I also think Melissa knew fo sho’ why they were bringing her on…because there was beef with Tre. I agree with Roxy…Kathy is a follower and all that stuff with Rosy…just unnecessary. And Melissa’s voice actually wasn’t bad. She can sing better than me

That’s sometimes what I sense from Melissa..that she will use people even if it isn’t in their best interest to get what she wants and that she may do it a little more than the rest of us.
For Tre..I hope she reaches out to Danielle and apologizes. I always felt Caroline was a snob towards Danielle, because Danielle came from the wrong side of the tracks and apparently, Caroline has never done anything she’s ashamed of in her ENTIRE life. If the cameras weren’t rolling, I think Caroline would call Danielle white trash…which to me says so much more about people who use that phrase than who they’re talking about. I actually don’t hate Caroline. I think she’s a strong woman and anyone would want her in your corner. The problem is that when she’s not in your corner..she can be vicious…unreasonable…the sin of too much pride.

I didn’t watch the show last night–thank goodness. I don’t want to give Bravo the ratings (although with this train wreck, I’m sure they don’t need my viewership).
A few things–about Joe Giudice first. He is the ONLY husband on the show that I think truly doesn’t care about the show. He doesn’t have a Twitter, he doesn’t give talking head interviews. Al Manzo is the only other one who doesn’t care about the show either, but he is “too busy” with his business. Joe Giudice just doesn’t give a sh*t how he looks or anything…
That being said, I think he was pissed to be going on the Napa trip but they were all obligated to go. Otherwise, Caroline and Jac never would have gotten on a plane with the Giudices. It’s all contrived. But I think his lack of interest in the show explains a lot of his behavior.
Kathy Wakile is a PILL! How can she even claim to be Saint anything when she calls her uncle a coward and her aunt a liar! Teresa shouldn’t have said anything about her deceased uncle, but her claim that her own dad was there for Kathy and Rosie more than their own dad wasn’t really that bad in my eyes. Just because he has passed away doesn’t make it any worse. Teresa’s dad is very ill–yet it’s ok for Kathy to be talking that way about an ill person? I am a bit confused at something that Jac said last night.
She said that Teresa walked in on the babysitter and Joe, but I thought Melissa said (i beleive it was her but can not be positive) that she can not afford a babysitter and that Teresa mom watches the girls when their are gone.
