RHONJ Continues to Search for New Cast Members; Production Looking at Teresa’s Friends
It’s clear that the current relationships on RHONJ, at least when it comes to Teresa Giudice, are either over or under really awful standing. With the reunion show now filmed and no resolution in place, the casting is being reconsidered for the next season of the hit series.
Insiders close to the show reveal to Huffington Post that cast members are being debated on to see who will be added and who will not be asked to return. “Now they are deciding what to do with next season, with the biggest problem being Teresa Giudice,” reveals an insider. Well, at least we know that the show’s biggest draw is not going to be axed. Smart call by Bravo.
“No one wants to tape with Teresa anymore,” two cast members reveal to Naughty But Nice Rob. “She has done so many things to each member of the cast that at this point it is everyone versus Teresa. I know they are looking at several friends of hers to join the show so she has someone to film with. At the moment, no one has been invited back, but we are all pretty sure Teresa will have two new friends,” added the mystery cast member.
I am still rooting for Penny to join the cast next season! The whole “Teresa is root of all evil” storyline is so stale by now and to be honest, I could care less about the whole Gorga/Giudice family drama anymore. We’ve had two season of it and it’s time for a change of pace! I do, however, have issues understanding how Caroline and Jacqueline will fit in the show if they remain on the cast. What would their role be in the group dynamic if it wasn’t a Teresa bashfest? I would hate to see the show become RHOA circa season 4 and have a clear split of women halfway down the middle who don’t care to interact with each other. Thoughts on the casting considerations?

I agree, get rid of Jacq and Caroline. Their story lines are boring without Teresa. I can’t stand Kathy the snake but I would leave her in for Melissa. So, keep the Wakile’s, the Gorga’s and the Giudices. Bring in 2 of Teresa’s friends. Show more of Kim D’s issues with Melissa from the past. Would love to see Dina back but I know that won’t happen.

Her appearance is attractive, and she’s just so beautiful to look at. Penny is a wonderful mother, a successful businesswoman with a great lifestyle, an amazing, supportive husband who is sweet, sincere, and is a great father, and her children are precious. Johnny and Penny are funny (I need to start laughing and smiling more when this dumb show is on), and they’ll bring laughter and drama to the Whoregas which is admirable. Lol. They have what RHONJ is looking for, and they’ll have MeHo and JoeHo runnin’ SCARED which will be for great t.v. Hey… They deserve it, don’t they??

I want the tides to change, and with Penny and Priscilla on… How great would the show be? I love Teresa, so I hope Penny and Priscilla stay true to Teresa after they are on the show. I’m sure they’ll stay loyal. Penny is all about loyalty, and Priscilla has been by Teresa’s side through everything, and I admire her for that.

Well, if they are looking for Teresa’s friends maybe that signals Teresa is coming back. I would love to see all of the fierce four leave but it sounds like they will keep Melissa so the family drama continues. Sad.

Melissa and her husband tried to threaten Penny and her husband, Johnny, to keep quiet, but they aren’t scared of Melissa and Joey. Penny knows all of Melissa’s dirty little secrets, and she wants to put Melissa on blast for being a fake, phony person who acts all self righteous. Also, they know her Angelo and they Melissa when she was messing around with a bunch of guys while married to her husband.

I’d honestly like to see them replace Kathy and Caroline. They really bring nothing to the show & have become rather stale. It’d also be interesting to see how Jac deals with filming without her “handler” present. As for Melissa, I can tolerate her & would love to see how the dynamic between the SILs changes & potentially grows. If anything I’d love for them to add 3 new castmates without familial ties. Spice it up & bring the show back to a fun & flashy space!

Pete Guidice just tweeted that Johnny and Penny were not friends of theirs or Teresa and Joe’s..just acquaintances. What does this mean for casting? To me this was a bomb shell.
He is just letting it be known that they were known by Melissa. They are not Teresa’s friends, they know each other but not friends. So if they come to the show its not because they are Teresa’s friends.
I am sick to say what I have heard but I have a family member who has a friend who has a family member who works for NBC and this person said that Caroline is gone on her terms and Theresa is being let go because no ones will film w her.
