RHOM’s Lisa Hochstein Discusses Infertility, Plastic Surgery, And Life As A Miami Housewife
Lisa Hochstein is one of the newest faces on Real Housewives of Miami this season. The 30 year old Canada native is not very well known, but her personality and charm has surprised many viewers given her “plastic” appearance. Lisa is opening up about her infertility issues, the minimal plastic surgery she has had, and what life is like in Miami society.
Not an uncommon storyline in the Housewives franchise, Lisa’s infertility is something that was topic of discussion on a recent episode of RHOM. Lisa revealed that she has suffered miscarriages and is struggling with her husband Lenny to get pregnant. Lisa tells SheKnows that she and her plastic surgeon husband have not given up but would consider adoption if pregnancy did not work out for them. “People have asked us about adoption. I believe in adoption, but I feel like my husband and I should be able to have our own biological child. We’re still doing everything we can, so I’m going to keep trying that route. But yeah, if we tried absolutely everything we could, I would definitely consider adoption. I’m healthy, my husband’s healthy, so there shouldn’t be any reason that we shouldn’t be able to have our own biological child,” says Lisa.
One of the first things noticeable on Lisa is her looks and what has been surgically enhanced – or added – and what has not. Lisa is very candid about what she has had done and surprisingly has only had a couple of surgical procedures done. Lisa says of her plastic surgery, “I’m very open about what I have and have not had done. I’ve had breast augmentation. I had a boob job when I was 19. And it wasn’t the best job. When I met my husband, I always wanted to fix it. And since he’s known as “The Boob God,” I thought if I’m walking around with him, my breasts should really look great. Otherwise people would think he did this not-so-great job. I finally convinced him to re-do my breasts. It was against his wishes, because he doesn’t like to do unnecessary surgery. He’s very conservative about that. I had to really convince him. I’m not his creation, like he created me from head to toe. I think people misunderstand that. I’m glad you asked me that, because I want to make it clear that my breasts are all he’s ever done on me. I have had rhinoplasty, because I had just a little tiny hump on my nose.”
Lisa may seem like she has a huge circle of friends, but she says she only has a few close people she calls her friends. Lisa says Miami is a difficult place to build true friendships, but she has gotten lucky a few times. “It’s really difficult for me to find real friendships in Miami. I have found a couple and these two people have been amazing. My one girlfriend grew up in Ohio. Her name is Carrie, she’s my best friend — she has three girls. You’ll see her on the show later. She doesn’t get mixed up in all the South Beach craziness and so we ground each other. We have a lot of the same values. We always discuss the things you and I are discussing about Miami society and the pressures to look a certain way. I’m very lucky to have found her,” says Lisa.

I used to like Marisol..but she is a little mean this season..
Don’t forget at the time of filming she was going through a separation and divorce, like the stress with Alexia and her son, it affects you negatively at times, That’s reality.
I love Lisa she is my favorite. She seems real, she doesnt try to pretend shes something she not…Her looks are dicieving! haha
I was liking Johanna until she said those things about Teresa Giudice. She should be careful about attacking other housewives like that.. She can (and probably will) find herself on the recieving end of the exact same treatment Teresa has recieved!
Lisa Hochstein met her husband when she escorted for Bella Models. He liked her and continued a relationship with her.

Because it’s true, believe it or not. You’ll be so surprised how many women who are “eye candy” to men on their arm or are around rich men actually escort. Hell in hollywood it’s a sport, in fact it’s more to the point who doesn’t than who does.
i do agree and believe rich men like to use escorts just to make themselves look good. i know charlie sheen loved using them. i just have a hard time believing that lisa and joanna might’ve been escorts themselves. even if they did, it wouldn’t bother me. i guess i’m thinking if it was me. i would be pissed if someone was making that kind of rumor about me.
If there is nothing they can find physically wrong with them, after she adopts she may become pregnant. That happened to my mom after ten years of infertility, and several other women I know. I am hopeful for her, I think she seems very nice and down to Earth.

My best friend tried to get pregnant for 10 years. She finally came to terms with the fact that she would never be able to have children of her own. Adoption was not an option to her. Then bam she had two children back to back! lol Soon as you stop trying, it happens!

ah that’s not quite true. i have had plastic surgery twice in my life due to disfigurement at birth. had i not had it i would not be able to eat or speak.
you would not be able to tell that i had a disfigurement or plastic surgery if you saw me.
i like lisa as well. at first she seemed liked a gold digger, a kept woman with no brains. once i saw her interacting with her maid and how generous she is with her. i liked her instantly. she doesn’t seem as catty as the others and i can tell she is a loyal friend.

Lisa clearly has had some “rejuvenation” with fillers in her cheeks and lips, no thirty-year old looks like that naturally. It is sad to hear about her fertility problems, and I do wish the best for her and her husband. I love this season of the “Real Housewives of Miami,” but unfortunately I will miss the rest of the season because of my work schedule. I just bought a new Hopper, and I’m going to record the upcoming episode when it airs. There is so much DVR recording space I’ve decide to record the rest of the season. Lisa is easily becoming one of my favorites, and I did not think I would like her when the season first premiered.
I find her absolutely refreshing and adorable. She brings the Jewish mother/big sister out in me. I pray that she remains as sweet, happy and so centered — no dramatics throughout this season. If she can remain above the fray, I feel she is going to truly enjoy wonderful professional opportunities for a respectable and deeply fulfilling career. I want that for The Hock!

I said it once and I’ll say it again. She will push the infertility thing for a while so it won’t look bad when she uses a surrogate.
i know her personally and she was so much prettier naturally, without the lip, cheek, nose job, boob jobs, botox, fillers and hair extensions. look at her pics at 17 she looks amazing. very very different from how she looks now. props to her for staying out of the catfights, she will go further. but when her bella models scandal arises the question is what will fans think?? the same madam from tiger woods hooked lenny up. if you dig deep enough the truth will come out.
