RHOM Sees Ratings Increase; Joe Francis Takes Credit, Andy and Lisa Respond!
After a franchise-wide low ratings record last week, The Real Housewives of Miami saw an increase this week with its latest episode! BravoRatings.com reported that 98,000 more viewers thank last week tuned in, bringing the total to 859,000 total viewers. Joe Francis who was part of the drama this episode shared the news and took credit for the ratings increase on Twitter! Find out what Lisa and Andy Cohen had to say!
After Joe Francis tweeted, “Real Housewives of Miami viewers UP 13% last night on Bravo due the @realJoeFrancis ratings bump! http://bravoratings.com/2012/10/26/bravo-ratings-for-thursday-october-25th-2012-rhom-wwhl/ … @LeaBlack @BravoAndy,” Andy replied to Joe and said very coyly, “@RealJoeFrancis @leablack so That’s why??”
In true douchebag form, Joe replied, “It’s not my fault that I’m ratings GOLD!”
Lisa Hochstein then retweeted a fan and agreed, “@LuvMy2nates: Umm no that’s NOT y, it’s cuz it’s almost an entire ep at @lisahochstein house!!”
Joe argued, “Sorry to burst your bubble @lisahochstein BUT the only thing different on last nights episode vs the first 7 is THAT I WAS ON IT!”
Joe technically is right. He was the only difference in the new episode that saw ratings go up from past episodes. However, I do not think people tuned in to see him. I honestly thought this was the episode where Joanna gets slapped by Adriana and I think people may have been under the same impression and thus tuned in!

No kidding, it would have been cheaper to pay the 2 million he owed to Wyn’s casino than say those things about him. Now he owes close to 40 million to him.
Joe or not Joe, 859,000 is pretty pitiful as far as ratings go and not something I’d brag about. Especially for Bravo, I mean, 6 million watched the first episode of the RHONJ reunion..
I don’t watch this franchise, but if I were Andy Cohen I’d swallow my pride and cancel it instead of trying to shove the show down viewers throats in hopes they’ll watch. Miami didn’t work the first time, and it’s not working now.

Andy canceled DC for types rating after the 1st season, and those ladies were a lot more interesting.
Or it could be that viewers are so mad at Andy regarding Tre gang ons, that they are staying away from watching any more HWs drama. That’s the reason I am staying away.

I do like the show and hope Bravo give it the full season to catch on. It started up at the height of the NJ show and many were just worn out with the drama to give the new cast a chance. I love that it embraces a new culture and location. I’m not sure what they could do to increase ratings but Bravo does seem to listen to fans so anyone have suggestions?

You all can hate him, but his douchebag, immature boy, exploiting young, drunk, hot girls is what sells in this day and age. Morality aside, he was a genius for exploiting it to his financial advantage and he has a large following because of it.

Neither. I’m just always amused when people want to belittle the accomplishments of others when they find them morally reprehensible. Believe me, I’m no fan of his, but it wasn’t stupid what he did, and we can’t really judge him for exploiting what stupid, drunk college girls do at parties, on the internet, and via text messages every weekend. He didn’t create that behavior. He just capitalized on it. Personally, I don’t think he is a liar. I think the people we often hate the most are the ones who are so honest that it’s painful.

joe francis is a known liar and has been convicted of perjury. he lies about many things. look into his history and you’ll see taking nude pics of drunk girls isn’t the only thing morally wrong he does. douchebags like him give good guys a bad name. how he is making money i don’t agree with because he uses and abuses the girls that he convinces to flash and have sex in front of the cameras for beads or t-shirts. more than once he has taken advantage of underage girls and apparently likes to date them too. so yes i’m gonna belittle his lame as job because it’s disgusting just like his personality. just because he came up with an easy and sleazy way to make money doesn’t make him a genius or a good man.

I seldom watch ‘RHOM’, however, did tune in to see if it would be at all different with J.F.’s appearance…. The fact is that ‘RHOM’ ratings have been very low since this season started & once he appeared on the show, they jumped …… Agree, nothing was different except the fact that Joe F. appeared on the show & numbers/ratings don’t lie…….:) (Might even tune in for part 2, then head back to my favs’ ‘RHOBH’)……..

Im not sure why Joanna was shocked when she got slapped – she was waving her finger in Adriana’s face repeatedly then proceeded to chase her when she decided to leave. I don’t ever condone violence – but pretty much anyone would’ve hit her.
That’s why I tuned in, to see the fiasco between the women. Don’t know who Joe is, my opinion he’s another Slade Smiley trying to ride the coat tails of the housewife train.
