RHOM Recap: “Don’t Beat Me To The Tweet”
This week’s RHOM beings with Joanna and Romain talking over the drama that erupted at the Mynt anniversary party. Joanna went off on Romain in a screaming scene about Marta’s ex-boyfriend being the DJ at the club. Romain stormed off, clearly annoyed by Joanna’s antics. Romain is not very happy with Joanna and he thinks that she should have not been so drunk because he represents him, and he’s the owner of the club. I agree with Romain. Joanna shrugs it off and apologizes, but it seems that Romain is very fed up with her at this point.
Lisa is at her home with her husband Lenny and they are having a very real conversation about their fertility issues. Lisa has been trying to start a family with Lenny for a while now but she is having trouble staying pregnant, revealing that she has had three miscarriages. It’s sad to see Lisa in this light because a) her life seems so perfect and easy and b) she is always so bubbly and happy! It’s a touching scene and it reminds us that even the biggest of mansions and most designer-filled closet can’t take away some of life’s other serious problems.
Adriana is posing for pictures to be displayed at an art exhibit in Miami. The photographers request to do a topless shot and Adriana is seen questioning it and trying to act shy about it! I thought it was absolutely ridiculous and out of character for her. This is the engaged woman who was very suggestively flirting with Joanna’s boyfriend at the club last week. What’s a little topless photo compared to that? Either way, Adriana drops her top and her fiance Fredric is thrilled, snapping pictures of his own.
The photo is displayed at the exhibit and Lea arrives to see the big reveal, along with Karent, who Adriana has said before is a friend of hers. Lea makes snarky comments as she has been doing all season, and Karent tries to gravitate some of the attention towards herself by asking the photographer if she could do her own shoot. A very huge artist that Adriana admires arrives and she asks to take a picture with him. Karent then asks for a picture with him as well, even though art is Adriana’s thing and she is a huge fan of this artist.
Karent tweets the photo of herself with the artist and Adriana goes ballistic. “Don’t beat me to the tweet!” said a clearly irritated Adriana. That just sounds like the name of a dumb Housewives pop song. Did you know Adriana sings the RHOM theme song? I don’t think my guesses are too off and we’ll probably get that song soon. God spare us.
Adriana shares Tweetgate with Lisa, Lea, and Ana at another exhibit. Lea and Elaine (out of drag) start to bash Marysol and her event planning business. Ana and Alexia, being Marysol’s good friends, defend her like a good friend should. It’s nice to see this for a change in a Housewives series.
Lisa goes to dinner with Joanna and Karent and she shares the Tweetgate drama. Lisa tells Karent that because of that, the other girls (Adriana and Lea) may not be very fond of her. Karent shrugs it off and it becomes clear right here that a new clique has formed with Joanna, Lisa, and Karent. Karent will clearly be the oddball out this season and will be the one they gang up on.
Joanna receives a phone call that Romain was seen kissing some dancers downstairs at Mynt. She is obviously upset at the cheating allegations and given their rocky situation, she confronts Romain. Romain laughs and denies the cheating. Joanna is still unsure of his fidelity, and threatens to break up if they are true.
Joanna has been preparing for a dance performance at Winterfest, a huge gay pride event in Miami Beach. At the rehearsals, Marta is seen poking fun at Joanna who is struggling with some of the moves. On the day of the actual event, Joanna aces her performance and all the ladies are in attendance. While Joanna is backstage, Marta shares the cheating rumors with the other ladies. While Marta seems very protective of Joanna, I think she did this to put Romain in a bad light because of her own problems with him, and I don’t think it helped matters.
Next week, the ladies form cliques and the drama seems to be sizzling to the next level! What did you think of this week’s episode?

Miami is still unappealing to me.
I am loving this season and the next episode looks juicy and good. I love Lisa and my heart broke for her when she was talking about her 3 miscarriages. Most people who have as much plastic surgery as Lisa are stuck up and think they are the best, but Lisa is very humble and sweet. It is nice to see a housewife act like that. I also like that Ana and Alexia stuck up for Marysol like friends should do.
Glad im not the only one. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Miami! Its quickly becoming my favorite. I think Adriana is such a bitch. She is in love with herself and so so jealous of Johanna!

I like that it has drama but not dark drama, not family drama or trying to destroy someones life and business like NJ. ALSO i dont need a xanax to watch haha

Love Miami, great city and beautiful people. I think Adriana is my fave, she knows how to make good TV, like Ramona and Sonja but in a different way. lols
Hey Say What?? I’m not a big fan of Adriana either. She is way too conceited. I do like her as the Camille season 1 character. I like Miami because there is drama, but I don’t get a huge headache watching it.
I’m getting hooked on RHOM which kind of feels strange… I hated it last season! I hope the cheating rumors aren’t true… I love Joanna and Romain… it worries me tho… I’m woman usually knows and seem to “know” she just doesn’t want to “know”… the guts usually right
I did not care too much for it last year either. Seems a bit better so far. Marta has to GO! I like Joanna and Romain together- makes him seem attractive since he seems older. I don’t think he would jeopardize he and Joanna for a dancer at his club- ya never know?
you sure michers? romain seems like a player to me and a douchebag. he just has that look and attitude that i don’t trust. joanna even told him that is how they met.they met at a club and he was with someone else when he and joanna hooked up. he’s a club owner surrounded by women with skimpy outfits and willing to do anything to get a piece of him. i think it’s possible.
No Im not sure yet… let me get back to you in a few episodes, LOL. Oh my, I did not catch the part about how they met. They have been engaged for like 5years right? That can be telling in itself! Oh well. You are right , very possible. But on the other hand, being he is who is, he does not have to stay with her. Not married yet, no kids, both have their own money.. She doesn’t need to stay with him either.
i do think she does love him. some women are attracted to douchebags. i should know, quilty as charged. she’s a beautiful woman and looks good on his arm. so that is a plus for him. also her sister doesn’t like him and i can see why. it’s usually other family members that can see the real person more than the person who is in love with him. they’ve been engaged for so long. that is questionable. i wonder who is holding off? it also seems like joanna’s attitude is getting on his nerves. it doesn’t look good at all.
Maybe Im wrong here, but the way the sister is about him, its like she is trying to get his attention? She is not acting like a concerned sister as much as a scorned lover to me lol!

I think Marta is Miami’s version of Mallory, Cynthia Bailey’s sabotaging, jealous sister who is all support and love on one face and a malicious, relationship destroying virago on the other.
Cynthia wised up and sent Mallory packing. I hope Joanna does, too. If I were Romain, I would have laid down an ultimatum long ago.
Yeah something is up with Marta! I don’t care for her being on the show. And I also think she cares way too much about her sister’s boyfriend. Its odd how she gets too involved , over the top and personal about everything he says!!

OK, wow. I watched the episodes thus far and thought ahead of time I’d not like Lisa at all.
I LOVE Lisa H. She is so naturally cute … and really happy.
I confess that I’m also a Jewish Lisa — and Lisa H just blew me away. I pray she’s always so sweet and loving and vivacious all year (no bitch) because I already call her, with fondness, “The Hoch.”
I love Lisa too. I expected her to be the bitch of the show. She seems to be the likeable one.

adriana is getting on my nerves. i can’t believe how petty and catty she can be. she hasn’t changed at all. who gives a crap if karent was being flirty and asking the artist for a pic. adriana flirts all the freakin time. so it’s okay for her to do it but not anyone else? i’m sorry but i don’t think she owns the artist or the photographer. it’s obvious to me that adriana is very jealous and insecure with anyone who is much more beautiful than her.
I didn’t see that last year- I loved her last year. This go around I see a difference and Im not too fond.
Adriana flits with her “friends” boyfriend.. Her party hosts boyfriend and thinks thats ok because she’s brazillian but let Johanna flirt with her man.. i would love to see Adriannas reaction to that. She is so jealous of Johanna. haha
You may be onto something there Say What! Thats why I’m waiting for a few more episodes to make my final judgments. Im open to view changes with Miami. Not budging on Jersey,LOL . I do know that I still do not care for Lea so much. She seems more bitchy this season and there really is no reason for that- yet.

Adriana proves to be a trashy bitch. How can she talk shit about karent like that? Even if karent wanted to take a pic. Shes so jealous and insecure. And then her and lea go at anyone they can. They are trashy, lea- you are old and wish you could be as young as joanna or the others. And for her to continuously bash marysol with her ugly drag friend, gtfoh. Elane looks better as a man. I tjought marysol was confronted by elane, so whats the issue? Get over it! Was heartbroken by lisas story, miscarriage 3 times..you could tell it really hurts and she blames herself..i pray for her to get pregnant. She is such a doll!

Love the recap I agree Miami is much lighter then the other shows Bravo producers ruined NJ with the dark family drama and all the hate and betrayal but i was hysterical laughing with the beat me to the tweet…. then was funny
