Renee Graziano Being Sued By Plastic Surgeon For $77 Million!
Oh boy. Renee Graziano isn’t going to be happy about this! The Mob Wives star is being sued for $77 million by the NYC plastic surgeon who did her $30,000 full body makeover from hell! Renee went around making appearances saying how unhappy she was with the surgery calling it a nightmare!
Dr. Andrew Klapper says since all of her public appearance his business has been hurt after she said she almost died on his table. Dr. Andrew Klapper is suing her for defamation and adds that she hasn’t paid the $30,000.

Renee, being in the public eye, has every right to tell the truth of what she endured. If she has medical documents to prove her physical state of distress, I believe in the eyes of the court, that constitutes truth, and therefore, is no defamation or slander.
My heart goes out to this woman. This has got to be the roughest, most trying year for her. I wish her only the best, and pray things get much better for her.
I agree, and $77 million is an atrocious number to throw out for this kind of defamation, if you could even call it that. He would have to prove malice on her part, and I don’t think he can do that. Unfortunately with these cases they typically settle regardless of having a legit case or not so he will likely be awarded a sum of money: probably the 30K she owes plus some.
Honnie Badger, I agree! I’m glad she spoke out and said how she truly felt about the procedures because he nearly killed her. Suing Renee for $77 million is beyond ridiculous, and I hope he doesn’t do any other procedure on anyone.
HI, BM Barbie and Isabella! Yes indeed. I was thinking about this further. I believe the doc and his legal eagles purposefully waited until Renee Graziano was very vulnerable to strike with this lawsuit. The damages — $77 MILLION — are truly absurd.
A poster down thread did wonder about her self follow-up care. I will concede this is a keen point. But records and under oath testimony will sort that out. Personally, I just don’t see Ms Graziano throwing caution to the wind while healing under such major surgery to drink and smoke it all away. This woman is NOT stupid plus she does have a rather steel will.

Renee is an attention seeker. She knows that there are complications with plastic surgery. She had a full body surgery, that had to be dangerous and she probable smoked 2 cartons of cigs, drank 4 bottles of hard liquor and poped 25 zanex before she hit the table, so, I think he has a case. She should not be bashing him. She prob does not want to pay the money either.
regardless how much of an attention seeker she is and how much she drinks and smokes. the doctor still is capable of doing a good job. the problem is the surgery turned out horrible. did you see her scars all over her body? he butchered her and she almost died. i say he doesn’t have a case. he’s just butt hurt that he’s losing business because everyone now knows he’s a horrible doctor. besides, i don’t think she ever mentioned his name. i don’t remember ever hearing a name.
I would bet that there was no money to be paid by Renee, that this Doc happily agreed to do the procedure for free for the exposure on the show, and when it went bad…now he’s suing.
this is BS. people should be informed if they almost die or if anything goes wrong. people wants to know that kind of info. If not her fault nobody wants to go to him anymore, he better get his ish together & get over his self
The surgeon obviously allowed the show to tape Renee’s surgery, so he knew very well that the surgery would be part of Renee’s storyline on the show. If the surgeon declined to be part of the show and therefor Renee’s public life, that would be one thing. But they agreed to it. So I think Renee has every right to speak about her experience.
If things had gone well, then the surgeon would be benefiting from this exposure. But unfortunately, the surgery did not go well, so the surgeon should be held accountable, IMO.
And $77 million?!! Give me a break.

I feel like he does have the right to go after her…. Not for 77 million! But….. When she came out of surg, she was moving a lot and she herself busted the stitches open causing her to bleed out…. Then again that’s just what was on the show, and I could be totally wrong. Rene going and bad mouthing this Dr I’m sure has ruined his livelihood. Just my thoughts.
I agree and it was taped when she ripped her stitches apart and that was the cause of all her issues.
Go watch the film again and you’ll see how she didn’t follow instructions from the surgeon.
I’ve had plastic surgery and it’s a 50-50. 50% is the actual procedure and 50% is the after-care. She didn’t listen to the nurse and tried to get up. It’s there, nothing edited about it.
How is the doctor liable for that? It was not a “complication”, she didn’t almost bleed to death while under. She f*cked up.
A friend of mine had her implants removed and didn’t listen to the doctors order. She popped her stitches and got an infection. Now she has horrible scars. It was her fault, not the surgeons.
I don’t see what exactly surgery did for Renee. She still looks like Sponge Bob. Surgeons are not magicians either. They can enhance your figure not break it and make it again. She still looks like a dude…

if I remember correctly, she was just coming out of anesthesia when she was moving, causing the stitches to rupture. She was not totally with it and should have been monitorored more closely and safety measures should have been taken. It’s not uncommon for someone just waking up from surgery to try to get up because they don’t realize where they are or what is going on. I’m not sure who dropped the ball on this but it was definitely not her fault. It’s not like she was at home moving furniture, she was in the hospital under their care.
I see your point too. I woke up from surg a hot mess a few weeks ago and was trying to move around, the nurses had to calm me down. I never thought to blame my dr for that. In fact he himself told me I might wake up no knowing what happened or even know where I was. I’m thinking she should place blame on the nurses and the staff maybe? Idk the whole thing sucks for both of them.

I don’t believe a word she has been saying, first she did not follow the doctor’s orders. When he said to take it easy and stay bed rest. She was all around looking for sympathy. I recall the Doc saying there were risks. Renee said she was not informed of them B.S it on film she is the type of woman that downtown take responsibility foe her actions, so blame the Doc.
