Real Housewives Of Atlanta Reunion Recap!
This season on Real Housewives of Atlanta the most explosive thing was said by Marlo Hampton. Marlo used a gay slur randomly for absolutely no good reason. If you missed it, Andy confronts Marlo on using the gay slur on the part 3 reunion where she “apologizes” for the comment.
Marlo apologizes and I ain’t buying it..AT ALL! Marlo says she’s since learned to “think before she speaks.” Clearly she hasn’t considering she called Kim a “whore” on the reunion. It’s not even the fact that she called her whore, it just looks like she practiced that line over and over and wanted to say it to leave a reaction to the audience so that Bravo brings her back next season.
In this part of the reunion, Cynthia Bailey and Kim Zolciak go at it over Kim dating a married man.
I don’t know if I was the only one but I wanted to go through the TV and scream at Cynthia. Cynthia rarely spoke up this whole season and then randomly freaks out at Kim. I do feel bad for Kim because that was Kim’s past and I think people need to get over it. I don’t understand why people care. NeNe is still “legally” married but was going on dates, accepting gifts from anyone. I don’t think its okay for anyone to be with a married man but the way Cynthia came out at Kim was just unnecessary.
Overall here are my personal thoughts on the reunion. I’m team Kandi. I like Kandi. I think Kandi can back up everything she says. I don’t care for Cynthia at all and the reunion proved that I just will never really like her. I think it’s sad that Peter comes out and doesn’t acknowledge what he says about Cynthia’s sister Mal. I just hate that whole situation and personally think Peter is in the wrong because he continues to throw digs at Mal. Marlo just needs to go far far away. She is embarrassing to watch on television and I have no words for her. I feel bad for Kim because I felt like she was getting attacked a lot this episode. I also still am crossing my fingers NeNe and Kim get back to being friends. I so wish there were more Phaedra in the reunion and I’m glad to see Sheree won’t be returning next season! I completely agree with what you said. Marlo is gross and is a thug dressed in heels. NeNe is still loud and overbearing and I have a feeling her 15 minutes will run out – soon! I would LOVE if Kim did appear in Glee. That would be a huge blow to NeNe as you can see she thinks she is so much better than the other ladies (and she really is not better!). I think Cynthia is in a very bad marriage. I think Peter knows exactly what he is doing. They really need to comprise the show of ladies that are more like Kandi. She is the real deal. She is respectible and other women can actually look up to her and aspire to be like her.
I think that about covers everything! You both have nailed it!
Agreed! I just want to add that:
1. Peter needs to stop disrespecting Mal in front of their her and Cynthia’s mother!
2. Kim is right. People are married on paper, but may be seperated/in process of getting a divorce. It’s unreasonable to expect people to wait until they are legally single to date in those situations. Furthermore, plenty of married couples have “arrangements” and it’s no ones business to judge what works for other people. With that said, Nene being legally married and accepting gifts from another man is no better or worse than Kim’s situation. Same goes for Marlo, who I am sure has boned a married man or 5 in her time. You aren’t above it bitches, you are right down in the middle of it!
3. Kim may have been a lot of things in the past, but I think she has pulled her shit together. People are allowed to change.
4. When Marlo was patting her back about how a gay man would love to have her so fabulous self around, I don’t know why no one pointed out that maybe he would have googled her and found out how un-abfab she is.
If Cynthia feels so strongly about Kim dating a married man and the rules of institution of marriage, then she needs to talk to her good friend Nene and her lack of respect for those same rules – in this case Nene is the one that is married and she is acting like the Big Poppa in Kim’s situation. What’s the difference?? Cynthia needs to check herself. I bet she has a past … she needs to watch out before someone goes digging.
I like Kim. I think she has grown as a woman, just as NeNe says she herself has. They both have made mistakes. They both have said bad stuff about one another. They both have screamed, yelled, acted inappropriately, and been irrational. But, Kim has changed. She seems like a complete person now. As for NeNe, I think she is getting a bit too big for her britches, but good for her……she is taking off from this platform that is the Real Housewives. I could care less for Sheree or Cynthia. Neither does anything for me. And not that it matters, I thought Cynthia looked awful at the reunion!!!!
I enjoy Kandi and Phaedra. But, come on..the show is Kim and Nene. I do hope they make up. Kim seems open to it; let’s hope NeNe will be, too.
Marlo is just gross. She went into the reunion full on knowing what she was going to say. I just think she is gross. Thank god she won’t be back.

I agree about Marlo and really hope they don’t bring her back. Personally, I do not like Kandi as much as I use to. Something about here is just off with me. I wish they would get rid of Cynthia along with Sheree. Would love to see NeNe and Kim become friends again.
I feel the same way about Kandi but after seeing the reunion and how she defended herself against Marlo and Nene i am starting to actually like her a little bit. Even though i do not want Marlo to return something just tells me that Nene and boring ol Cynthia will try there very best to make sure Marlo stays.
I think peter is an ass, and nene is a bully, Cynthia lets her husband be the total boss, she has no say so whatsoever.and marlo is out of her mind and has no class, love kandi, and kim there real, the rest are as fake as can be.
Nene is a bully that can’t take what she dishes out. She takes herself way too seriously. Cynthia is as spineless as she is useless and Marlo is a hoodrat. Phaedra is the hbic (I used to hate her!), Kandi starts trouble, but I like her and she never denies what she said when she’s called on it and while I do side-eye some things about Kim, I generally like her.
Good riddance to Sherée. I wish Cynthia was going with her.

Kim- she want’s to validate her “mistress” life because she found a fool that actually made an honest woman out of her a$$. He ain’t that loaded either, he ain’t big poppa loaded. Heck! He even went half broke, rolling around with her gold digging self. This chick had no means of income before but spreading her legs. PERIOD! Good luck to her and hope some hoochie don’t do the same to her. Life has funny ways to get even.
Nene- Hilarious and doing things. She seems to be tired of the same story line. I would too. Next!
Kandi- She can be corny and hypocritical at times. She’s the only one there with very very hefty pockets. She wasn’t playing when she said she can support all them mofos. Spoken like a BOSS! She is supporting that young’n but it’s her mone and she can spend it however she likes. She didnt use knee-pads, slept with married dudes, or had to marry someone with status to have anything. HECK! she didn’t even have to go to law school…
Andy- he’s the biggest byotch on the set. Instigator..

According to several Atlanta “insiders”, Ted Turner is the “sponsor” who financed the The Red Carpet Boutique Marlo opened at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta and is the one who supposedly set her up in her sweet condo.
Again, all rumors but one of those things that make ya go “hmmm”.
Break Break Down!!! Yes gotta luv how u broke that all the way down… so very true… Since Kim didn’t see a problem with sleeping with a married man because as she put it:” they’re not together, because she’s in LA while he’s in atlanta”! She slept with that man for over 4 yearsand he still didn’t get a divorce.So i’m wondering if Kroy was in let say Denver playing the Broncos would it be ok for him 2sleep with a whore because “technically” she’s in Atlanta?
Nene – Loved her from the get-go, she has always been my favorite!!!!! In my eyes she can do no wrong
Cynthia – She needs to speak up when she initially sees a problem, not take 2-3 months, and then just blow up at people. She also couldn’t comprehend it when Kandi was explaining how she acted differently when Nene was around. I get that she is embarrassed that people caught on to her getting tough when Nene was present, so I am not surprised that she wouldn’t admit to it.
Kandi – It took me awhile to get to like her, but this season I really started to get to become a fan. Before, she was always patting herself on the back for all of her accomplishments, and it came off to me as a bit vain. But, I really think we got to see her more, and I like that she tore Marlo a new one, because that’s what needed to happen.
Sheree – GOODBYE WAVE
Kim – I like Kim, she keeps it real. She definitely makes for good TV.
Marlo – I wanted to like her, but she only causes drama, and not good drama, but unhealthy drama that gets old very fast.
Phaedra – I love her!!!!!
I completely disagree with you, Kim got exactly what was coming and I’m glad Marlo was the one to dish it to her. Furthermore, you said you feel bad for Kim because that was her past, okay so was Marlo’s criminal record her past. Kim was blatantly sleeping with a married man, why about his wife and family how did they feel when she was all over tv bragging about it. Marlo may sleep around but at least she does not hide it…I like the fact she rehearsed that line and zinged Kim for her crass judgement. Kandi is completely boring to me and we need nene and Marlo to entertain us, they might be loud and obnoxious but they keep it real. Phasers is okay, but just as boring as kandi. Cynthia is boring overall but her family drama keep us watching her. Sheree had to go, but marla should definitely return.
Ditto..I think having Marlo in the mix would make the show exciting, she knows how to mix it up..
Having a relationship with a seperated/married man is very different than slashing a woman’s face in a violent rage. I don’t agree w/what Kim did, but her past is much different than that of Marlo’s.
Having an extreme violent past, and part of that could very well be attributed to Marlo’s upbringing, I think is far more a predictor of future behavior and I for one, don’t want to see her actions and anger continued to be portrayed on television.
Marlo was getting support from some “sugar daddy” prior to joining the show as a “friend” so I’m sure she’ll be able to continue to snow men in the future for support of her lavish, label entrenched lifestyle.

I can’t feel bad for Kim at all but to me Cynthia has tried everything to avoid fighting with these women and she finally exploded and gave them what they wanted. All they can say about her is that she’s too attached to Nene because she works, she looks better than all of them, and she’s not trashy. She should stay more outspoken but they treat her differently too when Nene isn’t there and I was glad she finally gave her opinion because Kim has been on her case since the friendship contract.
Peter is overbearing and selfish and dividing his wife’s family. With a little effort, he could make amends. Cynthia just seems brainwashed. I think she knows it but just seems to tired to resist. Marlo is a wack job. Why does she care about that dang dinner party. Sheree, Kim, and Nene are definite narcissists. I think Marlo might be a sociopath. Cynthia is just tired. She should leave the db. Kandi is the normal and rational. Phaedra is her own category.
Kim is a hypocrite who I don’t feel sorry for AT ALL. She talks crap about everyone and now tries to make excuses about being a mistress. Cynthia can never win. If she agrees with Nene, she’s a puppet, if she talks back and stands up for herself, she gets mocked and made fun of that she “finally” has a spine. Marlo, don’t like her, but I’m glad she called out Kim on her hypocritical bullsh*t. The only reason Kim thinks she is so “above” everyone is because she got knocked up. Also, Kim will never be on Glee. She can’t sing and now all of a sudden she acts? I love how people keep saying all this stuff about Nene, yet Nene is the only one who actually does “keep it real” and stands by EVERYTHING she said during the reunion. Kim talked SO MUCH trash about Nene this season. She’s the one that’s a bully.
i like nene, yes she is a little much at times but i love her on glee….i only watch glee when nene is on the episode
When Cynthia got loud with Kim , I literally said ” Hoe Sit Down! ” . I don’t care what any1 says , KIM IS REAL and she makes no bones about her past , gotta give her that , MARLO on the other hand does not but thankfully KANDI set that bitch str8 lol.
When they fired Sheree , they should have sent Cynthia with her!
Ne Ne is legally divorced, Kim had her first child with another woman’s husband. She started on the showing living off of another woman’s husband. This reunion is the first time she ever stated “Big Poppa’ was legally separated. Surprisingly since she mentioned how much money he had on every episode, even her friend Sheree couldn’t understand how they could get engage when he was clearly married. Being married now doesn’t change her past or her personality and morals. That’s just the truth.
Oh and lets not forget she’s a “registered nurse” / “LPN” like who doesn’t know the difference!?
