Season 4 of Real Housewives of New Jersey will be premiering this Sunday and that means there will be tons of premiere parties! Actually there should only be one but in the RHONJ case there are 3 different parties. Kathy Wakile and Melissa Gorga are having one together. Teresa is having one and lastly the Manzo’s are having one to celebrate! There Premiere party will be held at Chandelier Room at the W Hotel in Hoboken on Sunday April 22 from 7-11p.m.

Description: Join the housewives at The Chandelier Room at the W Hotel in Hoboken as they celebrate their fourth season premiere with their biggest fans. The event includes an open bar sponsored by Krome Vodka & Tributo Tequila, as well as photo & meet and greet opportunities with the housewives and their families. We’ve changed things up this year and limited the number of tickets to ensure everyone receives a unique, personal experience with the housewives and their families, much like the VIP experience of past premiere parties. Confirmed appearances by Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita, Chris Laurita, Albie Manzo, Chris Manzo, Lauren Manzo, and Greg Bennett. Ticket sales will support The March of Dimes.

So if you want to celebrate with the housewives now you can and this event will cost $100.00. To buy tickets: Click Here

At least there money is going to a good cause. Same with Teresa’s! The only one that isn’t is the Gorgas..Surprise?

    • JD says:

I think the Gorgas are for charity too. Missy Looker Here said it. Also why go to the Manzo’s for $100, when i can see Teresa for $45 or $20

      • Isabella Patricia says:

The Manzo’s charge too much for their ticket. It’s for charity, but as long as they give 10% to charity, they can have the rest. Most charities do this… Shady, I know.

        • Rosalie Marie, says:

Isabella Patricia, No Kidding? I thought 100% of collections given in the name of a charity had to go directly to that charity. I had no idea only a portion of money collected had to go to charity. What A Scam.

  2. Kelly says:

Wish I lived in the New Jersey area I would love to go to this. They all seem like they would be really nice people if you met them

  3. Overit says:

Wow Albie is really good looking. But I find Chris personality really fun and cute

  4. Laurie says:

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :) I want to go to Teresa’s!

    • JD says:

Teresa’s is in CT, not NJ.

      • hannavas says:

I’m in CT and it crossed my mind to go, but everyone I know thinks I’m crazy for even watching (I’d never hear the end of it if they knew I posted on a blog about it, lol). And I’m too chicken to go alone.

        • Helen Wheels says:

          Hannavas,

I too have to keep this my dirty little secret. People who live where I live ARE NOT supposed to be interested in the daily lives of the hoi polloi much less taking the time to comment on them.

          • sickofmelissa says:

Hannavas, If you change your mind and go, please give us the inside story. You’re already in CT.

  5. Koopla says:

I didn”t know all those people were considered housewives. There will only be 2 housewives there and the rest are sadly wannabe’s. March of Dimes hunh? I am glad to see you are finally following Teresa’s lead. See Teresa is a GOOD person right? Wow caro you need to have everyone even greg back you up to try and get people there? Teresa is standing on her own 2 feet and she is doing it without dragging family and her kids friend there to try and be popular. I am so proud of Teresa she is so inspiring! caro it is time to retire.

  6. Claire says:

C’mon, Teresa is the real thing!!! — If you’re going to go, Go to TERESA’S!!! :)

  7. Ugh....Over it. says:

Well Teresa was the first one that sent out her invite and stated that she would be doing it for her Nephcure foundation. THen all of a sudden they ALL decide they will be doing it for charity as well….SHOCKER. I am soo proud of Teresa from keeping her cool and ignoring her haters. Keep doing your thank Ma, sucess is the best revenge!

  8. JoJoLaMa says:

I think the real news in this story is the Wakiles and Gorgas aren’t as sympatico with the Manzos and Lauritas as they’d have us believe. It doesn’t surprise me that none of them want to have to a party with Teresa, but not with each other either?? I thought for sure the 4 of them would get together and have one hellava big shindig with lots and lots of the 4 of them posing like the Beatles. I never thought Caroline liked Melissa, but I did think she’d fake it a little longer than this. Maybe they’re worried about that CRAZY ASSERTION that many of us viewers are making that they’ve gained up on Teresa.

    • JoJoLaMa says:

Oh, and they might also be worried about competing signature alcohol sales. Albie and Chris have noted right in the invitation they will be pushing theirs, and lets not forget Mel and Kathy have their own little drinks too. Gee, I hope Kathy and Mel don’t start stealing all the Manzos business opportunities like that dastardly Tree did!

      • JD says:

I don’t think Lookers can push Voli at her party since she is just a reality embassador, the Manzo’s actually owns their vodka…i think?

    • DJ says:

      JoJo,
I agree!! Roxy, what’s the scoop? Why isn’t Caroline partying with her new bestie Melissa? This seems strange. I guess their relationship was really staged for tv.

  9. JD says:

“We’ve changed things up this year and limited the number of tickets to ensure everyone receives a unique, personal experience with the housewives and their families” That means they CAN’T get ANYONE to buy the tickets, since NOT all of the housewives will be there, WHAT IS THE POINT?

    THEIR*

I’m super excited for the RHONJ to start up again ! It’s been far too long.

    • lily says:

      Thank you!
And that’s not the only grammatical incident in the title alone (capitalization, plural of proper nouns). As much as I want to remain a reader, I cringe when I see stuff like that. I mentioned before how much credibility can be affected by a professional delivery, and that includes spelling and grammar. For instance, look at TMZ, not only would they never publish unverified stories, but they keep it super professional all the way. Their professionalism is what made them stand out in the world of paparazzi and sensationalism. Please, please, please take note! Here is a nice and easy site for guidance – one can never write “too well”!! :)
      http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/
In the meantime, can’t wait to read the next story!!

  11. Jill says:

    Wouldn’t it be “Their” premiere?

I am a blogger, too and I know it’s hard to proof-read everything but to be taken seriously, in addition to content, you must be technically sound.

    • Obvious says:

      Agreed!

    • kydnaas says:

Haha, look one post above yours !

      • sickofmelissa says:

Roxy’s a great blogger and we take her very seriously. I really don’t care about one small error. So back off.

        • Helen Wheels says:

          sickofmelissa,

You really take too much on yourself. Telling people what they can and can’t discuss (if Roxy doesn’t want a political exchange between posters, she will tell us, thank-you-very-much), to, “back off” because you don’t like what they wrote. Maybe it’s time for a little introspection on your part. Take a look at your increasingly belligerent tone.

And, not for nothing, but I and a couple of other professionals also took from our experience as writers and public relations persons in order to advise Roxy on the importance of maintaining a quality product because we appreciate the site as well. This already is one of the premier sites because overall it’s an interesting place. Roxy’s paying attention to the finer points will prove its own reward. People appreciate someone who takes the time to assure quality control. Good writing (I presume that is what Roxy aspires to) isn’t judged solely according to expressed sentiments but also the writer’s diligence when it comes to correct grammar and spelling. The devil really is in the details and more often than not, ‘it’ really is all in the presentation.

          • sickofmelissa says:

What you did to Texas Gal was a disgrace, so don’t lecture me.

          • mm says:

When you want to pick on someone’s proofreading abilities always remember that proofread is not spelled with a hyphen.

When you tell Rox how to improve her blog always remember that the people who are reading your comment already chose her blog over yours so you should be more concerned with how you can improve your own blog.

          • Helen Wheels says:

I “did” nothing to “Old Texas Gal” except give her as good as she gave. So you’re not impressed by quality writing. Well some of us are. You have your opinion, we have ours. And don’t flatter yourself. I wouldn’t dream of wasting my time lecturing you since it’s obvious you’re not someone capable of personal growth/improvement.
You are now officially on the ‘pay no mind’ list. As you were.

          • Helen Wheels says:

It is not lost on me that there should have been a comma after, “punctuated.” Although it does make my point. If you know (and have a respect for) the correct way to do things, you can then go back and rectify those mistakes.
            Edit button, please.

          • Helen Wheels says:

When I read something published in Great Britain I don’t bother to comment on their using a “z” where we use an “s.” Being well-read I wouldn’t even think of commenting on it. It’s like observing that water is wet.

The United States Dept of Education report clearly referred to “READING” along with math and science.

Roxy, who has proven a natural talent for this medium, would, reasonably, be unreasonable to be insulted because seasoned professionals are willing to help her achieve the highest standard possible.

Singers. Real singers – the ones who were born with a VOICE that is a gift from the gods (think Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston. Luciano Pavarotti – you get my drift). They seek out the best vocal coaches they can because they realize there is always room for improvement. Whether it be in pitch, tone, stamina, or whatever. They realize that to be the best and to insure quality they have to identify their weak points (we ALL have them) and do their best to strengthen them). No difference here. It is not a knock against Roxy that these observations are made by those few of us. It is because we are impressed by her and want to see her achieve the highest success possible that we even brought it up to begin with.

          • mm says:

Since we were talking about mispellings and how the English language is evolving pointing out the spelling change is NOTHING like observing water is wet.

My example = relates to the topic
            Your example = doesn’t

Yes it did include reading but not reading ENGLISH. The English language, like our counting system, and measurement system isn’t efficient and hinders our competition with foreign countries.

I do concede that education is important. But it isn’t Rox’s job to educate. It is her job to entertain. People come here to relax and read about the Real Housewives. They don’t want to feel there are a bunch of English teachers waiting to pounce on them if they make a spelling mistake when they comment. I want everybody to comment. Even people that aren’t expert spellers.

BTW – I took no offense at any of your comments to me and I meant none to you. Just friendly debate.

          • Helen Wheels says:

            mm,

I used the ‘water is wet’ analogy because of the subtle differences in American English and English English. I read my first Jane Austen when I was 11 and have been an avowed Anglophile since then. I am so used to the, as I said, subtle differences word-wise that I figure it’s not necessary to state the obvious hence the water is wet analogy.

I thank you for participating in this debate with me and look forward to more. I mean, if we all agreed things could get pretty boring around here pretty fast.

          • jar says:

Since we’re being concerned about grammar, “Roxie’s paying attention” is horrible diction. “Roxie’s attention…,” or better yet, “[a]ttention” is much better writing.

        • lily says:

If Roxy targeted little school girls with her blog, your comment might be valid, though not nice or helpful. But I think she aims higher than that…
(It wasn’t one small error, there were and have been a few and recurrent mistakes, as well. Luckily, there’s a simple solution for it all. If I didn’t like her blog, I wouldn’t bother…)

          • mm says:

I suspect the motives of bloggers who make ‘helpful’ suggestions that Rox change her style since it is obviously working very well for her. Rox’s personality draws people to this site and I am reminded of the real person behind the blog when I see a typo. The new consumers raised on text are not as hung up on spelling and if Rox decides she wants perfect spelling proofreaders work cheap.

          • mm says:

Here’s the study that shows that mispelling is now the norm. So if you’re hung up on spelling you are old and out of the loop. Rox’s style is the new norm. (OK now all you bloggers who wanted to teach Rox learned something yourselves. You can go back and try to act younger by mispelling words on your blogs.)

          • Helen Wheels says:

I am about to say something that is said out of concern, not because I want to fight with ANYONE. That said I have to say that just because you think good enough is good enough doesn’t mean anyone (especially us old fogies) else is going to give up on the ethos we were raised on; if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right.
I followed your link to that site and it is clear you missed the crux of the article; that the point of it was to decry this new, lazy way of doing things. To Wit: “…Jack Bovill, chair of the English Spelling Society, said: “Accurate spelling is of the utmost importance, but from this most recent survey we can conclude that the unprecedented reach and scale of the internet has given rise to new social practices and it is now an agent in spelling change.”

If your kids came home from school with a poorly, written, punctuated misspelled paper would you excuse him or her because they don’t really see accuracy or quality as being that important? Would you tell their teacher too much emphasis is being put on quality. That good enough is good enough.

The following is from the Department of Education. At a time when education costs more but seems to be producing less taxpayers should be outraged that an official report states that in the United States, “…The latest scores of the world’s 15-year-olds on an international test of reading, math and science show the United States is merely an average performer, whose growth during this time of rising demand for highly educated workers has been stagnant…“The hard truth,” Secretary Duncan said at Tuesday’s PISA announcement, “is that other high-performing nations have passed us by during the last two decades…In a highly competitive knowledge economy, maintaining the educational status quo means America’s students are effectively losing ground.”

As long as people embrace mediocrity, things will get worse, not better.

          • mm says:

It is important for people to be able to discern the point of an article and in this case it is actually that “the internet has revolutionised the English language, and made misspelling the norm.”

“Spelling is of the utmost importance” was only that person’s opinion, not the main point of the article.

BTW they used the British spelling of revolutionised instead of American English revolutionized but I doubt anyone noticed or cares. Our English is still evolving just as it has evolved since people came to this continent from England.

And foreign countries are not surpassing us in ENGLISH. I think you mean in math and science. A lot of the advantage that other countries have on us in math is because the way Chinese count, for instance, is much simpler and better than the way Americans count.

  12. LifeIsGood says:

OK I need some of you to weigh in with your opinions on this one.

Jac is tweeting on the subject of the premier. First, she tweeted that there would be three separate parties this year – and she included a little “frowny face.” Then, she tweeted a blurb about an InTouch magazine article that she and T did together when nick and Adrianna were born. She included a sweet photo of the two of them. I copied a few of them here:

“We did press4some of the weekly magazines which I usually avoid.Although Intouch paid me&T pretty good4article on birth of our kids&was cute”

“I like doing more positive things w/ media but w/our show comes drama&I guess sometimes we have2go there so fans understand whats going on”

Is she trying to mend fences w/T? Or is she softening her up for the kill in the S4 reunion? (which I am assuming she will attend). I honestly can’t tell!!

    • LifeIsGood says:

I meant to say that I copied a few of Jac’s tweets, not the photo. I wish we could edit our posts!

      • JoJoLaMa says:

Life – I think there are 2 different things going on here:

        1. I think all of them probably realize that the backlash they got at the end of Season 3 is going to be small potatoes compared to what’s coming when Season 4 airs. These women are beastly and went far beyond simple b*tchy, back-stabbing, ” oh no she didn’t!” real housewife behavior that we all find so fun to watch. They trashed a family , some of whose members wanted nothing to do with this nonsense, like Mama and Papa Gorga. They also yes, TOTALLY gained up on a woman who, whatever you think of her, was facing the steepest adversity of her life. This went far beyond what even Mean Girl Jill Zarin did to Bethanny. At least JIll didn’t comment on or include B’s family. And for the most part, the really cruel stuff came from Jill alone, not the whole cast. And then Andy canned her because ” the public said things had gotten too dark .” Andy( if you or one of your minions are reading this blog) if THAT was ” too dark”, what do you call what Don et al did to Teresa? Because they filmed the seasons back to back, they weren’t able to adjust their behavior to quell public opinion against them. They no doubt felt ppl were going to love their pile on act – after all, no one seemed to mind when it was done to Danielle AND it got her off the show. So yes, generally speaking, I think they’re all trying to give themselves a little bit of cover for what is about to happen. I said somewhere else on here, that I think the one exception to this might be Caroline – that woman doesn’t seem to care how bad she looks. She never apologizes, she doubles down. I don’t think admitting fault, even gently, is in her nature.

        2. Jacqueline specifically: I’ve always thought she was the one among the four that was the easily manipulated, the one most likely to go along just to get along and the one who genuinely cared about Teresa. I think she’s afraid of and submissive to Caroline. Again, because she’s so easily manipulated, on the tippy top surface she probably was convinced for a short time that Teresa was evil, but JUST BELOW the surface is all about knowing she had better go along with what Caroline wants or else.

        • LifeIsGood says:

Thanks for the reply, Jo. Everything you wrote makes sense. The cynic in me wondered whether Jac was playing nice to preserve her job – she must be on shaky ground with Andy after her no-show at the reunion.

I would love to believe Jac’s comments were a sign that she is coming around, but the realist thinks it is not possible. Too much has happened. I guess we’ll have to wait until the S4 to see what is really going on.

          • Crazy J says:

I think she is just trying to save face. Even Asslee said there is no way Jacass would be friends with Tre again.

  13. Michele says:

I know Teresa’s party there will be a check presentation made to a charity, I am thinking this may have a tie into Celebrity Apprentice! The Manzo’s party is supporting the March of Dimes, how much is actually going from the Manzo’s party to MOD! I think Kathy and Melissa doing their party together is smart! However I do wish they could have over come the hate they hold for Teresa to have one party! I think Teresa’s is going to be the one people want to attend! I find it funny the the Manzo’s beverage line BLK Water, isn’t one of the sponsors of their party! Good luck to Teresa and everyone attending her party it should be fun!

  14. Anna Firenze says:

Love ‘em or hate ‘em — these two brothers are close and will always have each other. I find that sweet and envy it a bit. I am a bit like Lauren, the baby of three with two older brothers. They are close. All three of us are close — but the two older bros are naturally more like best friends. I’m glad these two have that.

I guess I’m saying we (I) can disdain the mother (Caroline) … but I cannot bring myself to want to tear down this fraternal relationship because I feel the mother is a famewhore! Sorry…

    • Helen Wheels says:

      Anna,

I know exactly where you’re coming from. I too appreciate the Manzo brothers relationship. People like to say kids turn out okay (or not) ‘because’ of their parents. I’d say the Manzo boys are reminders of how kids can turn out okay ‘in spite’ of their parents.

      • JoJoLaMa says:

I snark on the Manzos pretty hard, but I haven’t once said — or even thought — anything negative about the clearly sweet and close relationship Albie and Chris seem to have.

  15. singer030587 says:

Who in there right mind would want to party with that hateful woman. After what she did please Id rather go to Teresa’s party where there is not any toxic air unlike at the other party’s

  16. MeHo Gorga says:

Fuck the Manzos, fuck the Whorgas, fuck the Laurita’s and fuck the Waikiles. Im sick of all of them. Who would pay to fucking be in the same room as these fucktards.

Go Teresa for actually putting her charity up first. Love how the rest of the snivelling HW followed suit when they realised what Tre did.

  17. pinkie says:

I would love to meet Teresa.. hooray for anyone going to Teresas party

  18. sharontny says:

    In the preview of

In the previews of caroline at her brother’s wedding she look so hateful.

    • JoJoLaMa says:

Something tells me Don wasn’t nearly as LGBT-positive and interested in supporting their rights ( or lack of ) until she got onto a BRAVO show where the head cheese is a gay man who is clearly concerned with getting as many gay characters and gay-positive ppl on tv as possible ( as he should ).

I’m not trying to inject politics into this blog, but Don has stated, emphatically, proudly, on more than one occasion that she’s a ” conservative.” Not all ppl who call themselves conservatives or republicans, or liberals or democrats subscribe to ALL the platform positions, but still Republicans and especially ” conservatives” are QUITE ANTI gay rights. I wonder what Andy and Greggy think of her political leanings? Again, not trying to turn this into a political discussion, just saying, maybe, just MAYBE she’s FULL OF SH*T UP TO HER EYEBALLS.

  19. NYGirl says:

I don’t care how sweet and loving people think the Manzo “boys” are…they’re scum just like their mama. Does anyone else remember how pansy ass Albie got tough with old lady Kim G at the Hookers house? How about the sarcastic digs at Teresa and her hubby all last season? They’re real bad asses when they’re hiding behind their butch mother while she’s harassing some crazy old bitch. I’d love to see how they handle themselves in the real world.

    • Vicky says:

You are 100% right about the Manzo boys I can’t stand them after last season when all they did was bash Tre. They need to get off the show, they try to make it all about them when in actuality it’s a “housewives show” not a children of the housewives show.

  20. Nessa80 says:

A $100 to see some hot mess…Girl Bye!!!

  21. Sasha says:

Love Albie and Chris relationship. Albie seems like a hard worker while Chris has that funny dorky personality. These kids are intelligent and on the right path. Ive always liked the manzos and although I don’t agree with everything some do. They seem like great people

  22. Caligirl says:

I found myself giggling seeing that heart next to Albie. Our little Rox has a crush on the Manzo! You are incredibly gorgeous. I’ve seen photos of you and you are just beautiful so you and Albie would be a nice looking pair being that he is quite the looker as well. I think it’s great the charity. But I wouldn’t go for any of these housewives. There just regular people you know?

  23. Donna says:

Just for spite, even though I can’t attend, I would send $100 dollars to Teresa’s event. What’s the address?

  24. Candida says:

PLEASE GO LOOK AT CAROLINE’S TWITTER PAGE SHE TOOK A PHOTO LAST NIGHT HUGGING EVERY MAN INSIGHT INCLUDING A NOBODY FROM Z100 RADIO; WHAT A JOKER SHE IS; ALWAYS LOOKING TO BE IN ANY PHOTO OP; AND IF YOU BELIEVE HER BENEFIT IS GOING TO CHARITY YOU ARE A FOOL; GUARANTEE IT IS GOING IN HER POCKET; HER HUSBAND’S AND HER BROTHER’S POCKET AND ALL THE FOOLS WILL CONTINUE TO FEED THEIR FAME; THEY RUINED THIS SHOW FOR ME!!!!!

  25. Kija says:

I think it would cost more than $100 to get me in the same room as those classless bullies.
