AllAboutTRH Expands! We’re Adding Mob Wives To The Blog! Mob Wives Recap!
Hello! Hope everyone had an AMAZING New years and wishing you all much happiness and success this year! AllAboutTRH stands for All About The REAL Housewive and I know we all love our Bravo housewives but I know a lot of you also like the show Mob Wives! AllAboutTRH.Com has many new exciting things happening with the website this year and this is one of them! We are officially expanding the site! That means we’ll be adding Mob Wives to AllAboutTRH! And trust me when I say that this show is as real as it gets! Some of you may not watch the show so let me introuduce you to the ladies plus check out my first recap of episode 1
First is Renee Graziano. I like Renee. She is someone you can always respect and have a soft spot for. Here’s a short bio on Renee.
“Renee Graziano is the daughter of Anthony Graziano, current consigliere of the Bonanno crime family, and ex-wife of Hector “Junior” Pagan, Jr., who has been charged with various crimes with the Mafia. She describes herself as a “loud, foul-mouthed drama queen”. The New York Post reports that her father, Anthony Graziano, will no longer speak with her or her sister Jennifer (the creator of Mob Wives) as a result of their appearances on the show. Her son “A.J.” has stated that he does not want to go into “the life”, and wants to go to university and become an engineer. On December 1, 2011 it has been reported that Hector has been working as an informant for the FBI , which might have an impact on season 2.”
Then there’s Drita Davanzo. I must admit that I am in love with this chick! She’s a bad ass and isn’t scared of no one but deep down you can see she has a good heart.
“Drita D’Avanzo works as a freelance make-up artist and is of Albanian ancestry. She is married to Lee D’Avanzo, who has been in and out of prison for such crimes as drug dealing and numerous bank robberies and dated Karen Gravano before marrying Drita.” She and Lee are currently going through divorce.
Next is Karen Gravano. I personally found her absolutely annoying all through season 1. She seem so insecure and I felt bad for her poor daughter! She left her daughter basically to be on the show and kept starting drama with Drita. Perhaps she was jealous of Drita? Maybe my opinion on her will change this season. Who knows?
“Karen Gravano is the daughter of Sammy “The Bull” Gravano, a former underboss of the Gambino crime family, and federal informant. She is also the ex-girlfriend of Drita D’Avanzo’s husband, Lee. While in the United States Federal Witness Protection Program, she was implicated in a drug ring and served three years of probation. She states, on the show, that she has returned to Staten Island to write an autobiographical memoir, ultimately titled In the Shadow of the Bull. Discussions about the book and its first chapter, which Gravano shares with castmates D’Avanzo and Graziano, caused controversy within the show and outside it as well.
And then there is Carla Facciolo. She’s a good mother and nothing seems to annoy me about her (for now).
“Carla Facciolo husband is Joseph Ferragamo, who is also incarcerated at the time of the airing of the series in 2011. Carla and Joseph have two children together. According to the show, Carla wants a divorce from Joseph as soon as he gets out of prison. According to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons website, Ferragamo’s expected release date is 24 September 2011.”
Lastly Ramona Rizza gets introduced this season on Mob Wives! I don’t know much about her so I can’t say anything.
“Ramona Rizzo is the granddaughter of former well known mobster Benjamin “Lefty Guns” Ruggiero, who was played by Al Pacino in the movie “Donne Brasco”. Ramona is a childhood friend of Karen Gravano, and as children they shared sleepovers, made their first communions together and consider themselves so close they refer to themselves as cousins.”
Season 2 episode 1 of Mob Wives finally came on yesterday and I thought I would re-cap!
The episode begins with Renee heading to a plastic surgeon to get a full body make over like she’s always dreamed of. Renee immediately gets nervous once shes on the operating table. Renee’s good looking son AJ is of course in the waiting room and checks on his mother to see if she is okay. Drita visits Carla at her home because “it’s been a minute” since they’ve seen each other. LOL Am i the only one who loves how Drita talks? I’m sorry but this girl is made for reality TV! Drita confirms she is going through a divorce with Lee and explains to Carla how he is a “deny till I die” kind of guy (Obviously). God! I seriously hate those “deny till I die” kind of guys. You’ll bring the girl your man cheated on you with to his face and she’ll admit they “hooked” up and STILL he will deny and say something stupid like ‘prove it’ ‘she’s lying’ or turn it around and say ‘wow! After all these years you accuse me of cheating on you?’ trying to make you feel guilty. Damn you reverse psychology! Carla tells Drita that it “isn’t worth it to get aggravated over these chicks that cheat with your husband.” Aggravated? If my husband cheated on me. It wouldn’t be good for either of them! Forget being aggravated!
Back to Renee. We see her wake up from her surgery where she says she is in the “worst pain.” I actually wanted to jump through the TV and hug her. It was very hard to watch someone be in that much pain. Turns out Renee ripped her stitches and lost so much blood that she “almost died!” Mob Wives without Renee? I wouldn’t ever be able to watch this show without her! In Melissa Gorga’s words “Thank you, Jesus” for saving her! Renee is recovering at home after her surgery while her gorgeous son mans up and takes care of her. Renee says how “disgusted” she is with Carla for her lack of support through out the surgery. Carla tells her friend who she meets up with that she wasn’t aware Renee was even having a surgery till later on and if she would have known she would have defenitly called her. Carla adds that she wishes Renee would just go to the gym with her instead of doing the “stupid” surgery. I totally agree with Carla. If you want to lose weight stay motivated. Work out and eat healthy. Nothing tastes better then being skinny! That reminds me I should probably head to the gym instead of blogging haha…back to the show. Carla continues to talk to her friends and brings up her ex, Joe. Says she hopes if Joe starts dating that whoever he chooses will be good with their children. See! I told you Carla was a good mother.
In comes Karen visiting Renee after what they both call the plastic surgery “nightmare.” Poor Renee. She hates the turn out of her surgery (she didn’t even need one! Her bod looks great. She looks great!) Renee admits that she should have just went to the gym. Told you! That would have been a better idea. If you’re motivated to lose weight, you WILL lose weight.
Drita decides to box because she is very aggravated and rather box then slam someone. Was I the only one scared when Drita started boxing? She would so kick my ass before I could even blink! Drita says she wants to continue with boxing so she could unleash her anger and not have to hit anyone. I refuse to say anything bad about Drita after seeing her boxing skills! Hah! Just kidding
Karen meets up with her childhood friend and newest Mob Wife, Ramona for some drinks. Karen doesn’t fail to mention Lee who btw she dated 50 years ago. Move on, Karen! You have a child now. He has children now! He’s still married to Drita! How many times are you going to bring up Lee? Karen reads a text from Drita to Ramona saying that the two should meet up and nicely says the two should make up for the sake of their children. But Karen is still very upset because she continues to hear that Drita has told everyone she put Karen in the hospital when they had that big blow out last season! Karen says Drita is being a “phony” and refers to her as “psychotic.” Karen. Get over it. You’re already bothering me and it’s only been 30 minutes.
Renee meets with her new therapist to discuss the results of her “nightmare” surgery. Renee is really making me depressed this episode. Renee you are pretty. Enough. When you act so insecure, that makes you ugly! Renee then tells her therapist how upset she is with Carla. LOL I don’t think the therapist is taking this seriously. Renee is having a birthday party and calls Drita to invite her. She tells Drita she isn’t inviting Carla. Why did Renee chose not to invite Carla? Oh yeah. Because Renee almost died and since Carla never knew about the surgery she called her the day of. How dare her!? She couldn’t atleast pick up the phone the day before and say the same thing! (Insert sarcastic face) I think it’s pretty clear Carla didn’t know about the surgery or else she would have called Renee. Who knows? I might be wrong but I’m sticking with that. Drita and Carla meet for lunch when Drita tells Carla who she isn’t invited to Renee’s party. Carla claims she’s happy she wasnt invited. I call BS. Carla, you wanted to be invited! I think Renee is over- reacting.
Karen and Ramona are getting ready for Renee’s party and Karen won’t shut up about Drita. Ramona says Karen is being too nice and basically wants Karen to start drama at Renee’s birthday. Sit down Ramona and stop talking! Renee says nothing better happen at her party because it “means a lot to her” and that “she is praying that it’s a drama free night.” Drita walks in solo and plans on getting a drink and leave. LOL like that’s going to happen. Drita heads over to the bar and Karen is standing behind her like a creep with Ramona. Drita says that Ramona doesn’t like her after the whole fight with Karen and her. Ramona continues to stir the pot and hype Karen up. Renee’s entrance was fabulous and her facial expressions walking in were hilarious. Renee sees Karen and Drita on opposite sides of the party just like she wanted them to be and suddenly calls them out to talk on the microphone? Am I the only one confused by this? In comes Big Ang. Big Ang has known all the girls for a while and thinks Drita should straighten it out with Karen. Hello! That’s what shes been trying to do!
Big Ang calls Karen over to the balcony to speak to Drita and BOOM the episode is over. Stay tuned for next weeks episode when Karen and Ramona gang up on Drita and cause a fight just like they planned to.

This show is straight up trashy and gross! Plus, the whole Karen vs Drita thing is fake and played up for tv. You might as well do basketball wives, baseball wives, love and hiphop, and those other reject shows on vh1 lol.

I agree. Love and Hip-Hop, Basketball Wives, and Baseball Wives are by far the trashiest shows ever. Mob Wives seems more of like a TV drama. Stay away from doing the other VH1 shows because they are pure ghetto trash.
second the motion all is played out by producers n these shows are phony too bad they are trying to capture the buzz that jersey shore stirred up yrs ago n now even the housewives are plain stupid n fake hence melissa gorga n company.
Obviously, you watch the show. If you didn’t you wouldn’t be commenting about it. If you think it is that bad, don’t watch it.

You should blog about whatever you want to. You have more than earned your stripes. In just a short span of blogging you have a large readership base and you have scored some interviews, etc. that other more seasoned bloggers have not. I love Mob Wives, feels like the least scripted of the reality shows. Drita and Renee and now Big Ang are my favorites. Karen plays to cameras way too much and Carla is semi boring. You said she was divorcing Joe, I thought she already was divorced, seem to recall she made the decision to divorce him as soon as he got convicted, that was almost 6 years ago. She has just remained friends with him partly for the sake of her kids (the good mother example at its best) and partly because they were best friends and still get along. She just decided she didn’t want to be tied to a man who was stupid enough to put himself in jail as a career (my terms not hers).

Love Love Rene, I totally get her. She is insecure, which I totally don’t get because she is beautiful on the outside and inside. She has had a very rough life. One I could never image. I think she needs to give herself a break and really take an inventory of who she is, not who she thinks people see her as. I understand why she was hurt by Carla, ok this chick is her “long-time friend” and she (Carla) treated her like dog crap last season. Rene is loyal to a flaut and for Carla to blow her off, and even make nasty comments, like Yea like my boyfriend would touch you kinda stuff is unforgivable. That’s just me, you cross me, and we are through.
Drita, Drita love her, she too has been broken. She gave her all to her jack-ass husband. To be disrespected like that, and to know her baby was with him when he was cheating. That makes my stomach hurt. The sad part is I wonder can Drita ever let a guy come into her life. She had to tear her walls downs and realize there is life after divorce. She needs to allow Prince Charming in her life. Love the show, Love Rene & Drita. Carla – bleh, Karen, I can respect her but I think she lives in the past a lot, Ramona, well we shall see.

I personally dislike Drita about 85% of the time. I don’t care how long it was since you last spoke to a friend, you do not hook up with their ex. ever! That is total disrespect and betrayal. I hated how she minimized it.
Karen I felt was justified in her anger.
Carla would have been written out of my life the minute she called me a liar. if a close friend of mine for years took a new boyfriends word over mine that way, I would have been crushed. I think Carla was way wrong for that. Renee should have deleted her number.
I really dislike Carla and was hoping she would be off the show this season. I like both Karen and Drita and have been on each of their “teams” at different times this season. There is just something about Renee though that makes her my favorite. She appears so tough, but is probably the most sensitive of them all; she’s definitely the most loyal. She’s had such a tough life and yet can still keep her sense of humor. The scene of her filling out her online dating questionnaire still makes me laugh. I hope better times are ahead for her.

She DID throw the first punch but she punched Ramona not Karen. I like Drita and Karen but im more team Karen only because I think Drita and Carola are sneaky. speaking from experience, sometimes there’s that one guy that even though you let him go, you just can’t ever really let him go. Seems like that’s Karen’s problem so I cut her some slack because it’s got to be hard having your friend be a daily reminder of what you never really wanted to lose.

I personally think that Karen should just go have a mature talk with Drita to fix everything. Ramona should just stay out of it, it’s none of her business. Hi Roxy while I love your blog u know Where I stand totally Team Renee Karen & Ramona and one little correction Karen was never in witness protection her father Sammy was! But Karen stayed in SI and a few years later joined her mom dad & brother along with her baby daddy and at that time she was preggo with her daughter! That’s all Karen wasn’t in witness protection! I wish I could. Agree with u this is the first time we aren’t on the same page! But your still number one to me!! ***cries***
I love Mob Wives and am glad you’re including it in your site. I personally would rather you don’t add any more shows. We wouldn’t want you taking too much time away from the cause of your success: RHONJ. Keep digging for dirt, we love it.
Oh, and I have to disagree with you about Carla. She may be a good mother but she is an awful friend. When the show first started I thought I would hate Rene and love Carla. My opinion changed the very first episode when Carla invited Karen to the party without telling Renee and was joking about it to Drita. She has treated Renee (who is now my favorite) with total disrespect throughout the season. It’s as if she thinks no matter how badly she treats her, Renee should still be honored to have her as a friend. She needs to get over herself; she’s really not all that. Say what you want about Karen, but every time Renee has needed a friend, Karen came running, whether they were on speaking terms or not. I’d take her as a friend over Carla any day. As for Drita- what can I say about her other than that she is pure reality TV gold!
I agree 100%! Drita drives me nuts when she has to say every other interview, “I’ll smash a b’s face., I will knock your teeth out of..” It gets old & makes her sound like a man even more than she already does! & she finds out abt her husband after all this time on the show. Amazing how real these shows are & they are soo lucky cameras are able to capture life changing events!! Lol

Girl, do you, if you want to write about Mob Wives so be it. I personally live for Mob Wives, they are only trumped by RHOBH in my book. LOVE Renee and Drita! Already a fan of Big Ang. If you cover RuPaul’s Drag Race I may never leave your site.
I don’t find it particularly trashy or smutty. I actually appreciated on the first season how all the women discussed the toll a father in prison takes on the kids. They aren’t glorifying it but showing how much the father’s are missed and how living “the life” results in prison or the grave. Plus I don’t watch reality shows to see everyone acting perfect and being the epitome of morality. I watch for entertainment and to see someone else’s perspective on life.
I do hope they don’t throw away the endearing parts of this show (Aleeyah’s talks with Lee, AJ & Renee, Carla trying to raise her kids) to just focus the fights.
I love this show . I love Drita , she is one bad bitch !!! Karen’S FAT ASS is soooo jealous cuz Drita got her man , that’s why she can’t let it go. I hope Drita beats her ass this season , just like she did last season LMAO !!!
I love Renee. I like both Karen and Drita even though I think Drita was wrong to date Karen’s ex-without telling her, and I think Drita was wrong to get so crazy over reading the 1st chapter of Karen’s book after they’d supposedly squashed the issue. She just assumed there would be something bad in the book about Lee and that wasn’t the case.
I have no feeling about Ramona and Big Ang because I’ve just “met” them. Time will tell.
I see absolutely no redeeming qualities in Carla. She’s a cold-hearted, self-absorbed person and a horrible friend to Renee. How do you believe some guy you’ve only dated for a little while over your friend of 25 years? Once your friend tells you how you calling her a liar hurts her so much, how do you not apologize? How do you not call to check on her after surgery? How, when you find out your friend is upset with you, do you not do the mature thing and call your friend to apologize? Like I said, she’s a cold bitch (who, if rumors from another mob wives’ blog spot are to be believed, sleeps with married men and is a racist).

I still love the rest of the original crew from Season 1 (Renee, Karen and Drita).

I love Mob Wives and RHW of NJ! Reality TV is entertainment, just like SitComs are. Both of these shows entertain me. However like SitComs I know that these shows are scripted and situations are blown out of proportion for our entertainment.
One last thought…..
Am I the only one that thinks Big Ang might of started out life as a boy?

I am obsessed with this show. I just discovered it a couple weeks ago and DVR’d as many episodes as I could and watched the rest online! Drita is the most compelling personality I’ve ever seen. This girl should quit the show and find an agent to land her movie/tv gigs. Starring roles. Her expressions/mannerisms are fascinating. Down to the way she drys her tears under her chin with the back of her hand. Ut oh, I think I am developing a stalkerish girl crush!! lol TEAM DRITA!!!

I like Rene the most. The other ones I don’t like personally, but think they are highly entertaining to watch. I do like Drita some times. I did like Carla until the whole “boyfriend grab-ass” thing.
first of all, renee shouldnt have announced the tension between drita and karen. second, big ang shouldnt have made them talk. from what i can tell, she’s wanted to be popular among the pop so i have a feeling she’ll do anything for attention… my opinion….ramona was right, they shouldnt have done it at the party. drita was looking for peace, karen and ramona were looking for a fight.
I cannot STAND Karen. No it’s not the best idea to hook up with a (former) friends ex, but Karen and Lee were DONE. And now Drita and Lee are done. So why is this drama between Karen and Drita still happening? Because Karen wont shut her fat mouth about the damn situation. Hey Karen and Drita! LET IT GO!!!!! We loved the drama for a little while but when it’s drama about the same thing for an entire season….it gets incredibly old.

Karen and Mona are drug-addict whores! Just listen to them! So far Karen has only appeared as an abandoning parent and a trouble-maker. She’s now stirred it up with each and every cast member, trying to carve a reason for her even be on the show. And Mona … what a freaking waste of silicone! Loud mouth, trashy, stoned out of her mind … these two give the entire Italian community a bad rap! And they think it’s funny, albeit glamorous! Put those two sluts in a cage … at least we’ll just end up with one of em to stomach.
Love Drita! And Karen is hella annoying! That’s all I have to say. I love the MWs.
