Mob Wives Recap: Make-Ups and Break-Ups
Episode 3 of Mob Wives starts off with Big Ang meeting up Drita for lunch. They’ve known each other since Drita was 16 and Big Ang isn’t a fan of drama! The two start talking about what went down at Renee’s birthday. I have a feeling we’re going to continue to talk about this all season! Big Ang tells Drita how Ramona was “trying” to be the body guard and even mentions how she told Ramona to walk away but Ramona insisted she would watch the two girls talk. Both Big Ang and Drita agree that Ramona should have stepped back. Big Ang has this brilliant idea of Renee, Carla meeting up along with Big Ang and Drita to straighten things up! I love this idea!
Ramona visits Renee and Ramona tells Renee that Drita basically couldn’t “accept the fact that Ramona or Karen was at Renee’s party.” Hold up! Not once did Drita complain that the two girls were at the party. Not once! She still came..and came ALONE! That says a lot about her and that has nothing to do with what happened at Renee’s birthday. Renee says that Ramona is family to her but she is tired of the family and enough with the “tough guy bullsh*t” Ahem…Karen. Take note.
Renee brings up Carla. It’s obvious she is bothered with what is going on with her and Carla. I just personally think Renee is overreacting. Carla did nothing wrong. They barely spoke and Carla still texted her about her surgery. Renee didn’t even answer so why does she expect Carla to call her again? It works both ways #JustSaying.
Ramona calls Carla Drita’s puppet. LOL. Speaking of puppets I was going to say the same thing about Ramona being Karen’s puppet! Just because two people are close friends doesn’t mean they are each others puppets. It means they are loyal to one another just like Ramona is to Karen.
Carla meets Drita for some drinks and Carla says she doesn’t care for Renee because it’s such BS and if Renee has a problem with her that she should call her because she isn’t a drama maker. It seems as if Carla is just over it.
Renee decides she wants to write Carla a letter to tell her how she feels. Why can’t Renee just call Carla, meet up with her and talk to each other. Just the two of them!
Big Ang is having lunch with her friend and talking about her hang over and how she never spends a dime when she goes out! Dang girl, can I come out with you? Times are tough now a days! Hah! Kidding. Big Ang tells her friend she is going to have all the girls get together and show them how to act like ladies. Lol I’m really loving Big Ang and her hilarious laugh. I seriously laugh every time I hear it!
Drita decides she wants to sell her house because it reminds her of Lee and since she is planning on divorcing him, living there isn’t a good idea because it will be constant reminder of him. Drita talks about getting raised to not believe in divorce and that albanians would just stick it out. I can totally relate to her. Thats how I’ve been raised so I can only imagine how she feels going through with this when her family doesn’t believe in divorce.
Ramona and Karen go clubbing and Ramona starts talking smash about Drita..again. Tone it down a notch, Ramona. You’re starting to look obsessed. Ramona opens up about her failed marriage to an “Arab.” Ramona says he joined the mob and thats when she divorced him but she now has a boyfriend..no surprise there. Ramona is gorgeous! The girls are dancing and I don’t want to be rude to Karen but where the hell is her daughter? Doesn’t she miss her? Her daughter is young and never sees her! That’s horrible. Can’t imagine growing up without my mom and the reason being is so she can film a reality show in another state.
Drita hasn’t told her oldest daughter Leah about the divorce but tells her she is planning to sell the house. Poor Leah. You can tell she realizes something is up. Drita gives her some good advice and asks her not to think about it too much because kids dont think! Hah. My mother used to tell me the same thing.
Big Ang has set up a night of cocktails with the girls and this is the first time Renee will see Carla since the surgery incident. The girls are sitting down and in comes Renee. She gets straight to it and says shes tired of all the BS. Renee bluntly says she wanted to know why Carla didn’t come and visit her at the hospital. Carla tells her she never knew that she was that sick. Drita admits that she later on told Carla about what happened to Renee meaning Carla didn’t know till after. Carla says she was pissed off because no one even told her that Renee was on her death bed. Carla trys to explain that no one told her at the time what Renee was going through while Renee continues to repeat she was hurt that Carla didn’t contact her. RENEE, Carla is telling you she didn’t know! She didn’t intentionally try to hurt you! No one told her that you were in your death bed till later. Why is this so hard to understand? They end the conversation with a misunderstanding and actually decide to move on! Wow. I’m impressed that they acted like adults and decided to move on.
Renee brings up her relationship with her friend about Junior. Renee basically wants to work things out and is willing to tone down her attitude in exchange for….Junior not cheating! Sounds pretty simple but it’s not considering Junior started cheating on Renee before they were even married! I wonder if Renee cheated on him..wonder how he would react? Probably not so great! Drita is selling her rings which means she is really serious about ending this relationship with Lee and letting go of everything involving him!
Karen can’t get a hold of Ramona and finds out Ramona was just released in jail. Wrote more about this scene right here
Renee heads over to Carla’s house and Renee has written a letter for Carla to express how she felt about their friendship. Renee is starting to act very mature about the situation and I respect that. They clear things up and bring up Ramona. Apparently Ramona has been talking smack about Carla and Carla doesn’t want to be involved with trouble. After seeing Ramona in the past episodes I see exactly why she doesn’t care to start a friendship with her. Episode 3 ends off with Carla and Renee patching things up..finally!

I agree with you about Ramona. I can’t stand her and how she’s so hypocritical. And Karen, I’m liking a lot less. I liked her in season 1, but she’s so concerned with being a fighter and being big and bad. Dude, write your book, bring your daughter to SI, and stop being a drama queen. Sheesh!
I know, Karen is getting more and more trashy with the tough-guy talk. I liked her in season one, she needs to tone in down a little and bring her daughter to SI and get her off of facebook.
omg………….freakin boring and lame its like a bad rerun of all my children or something. BORING………….the storylines are dragging on and on and frankly, you can almost predict shits gonna happen and then by miracle of God work out only this time wannabe actors are included in the mix such as junior the douche and even the lil fat nephew. come on ppl!
Rox, I think Dritas daughter is Aaleah… I could be wrong tho, who knows.. I could barely stay awake for last nights episode. What a snooze. My husband said it best, “They can’t fight EVERY week.” Lol. Last season I really liked Karen but I think I’m Team Drita now… No wait, definitely Team BIG ANG!!

agree with almost everything once again.. however I do think Carla should have reached out to Renee.. she may not have known to what extent she was injured/sick.. but, she knew something.. hell she didn’t even have to call.. send some damn flowers to her house or something.. it’s been 27 yrs.. other than that.. right on!

I loved this episode! I’ve been on the fence about Renee because she’s too dramatic at times. I loved that she was able to forgive Carla and move on. I like Carla, but she’s too defensive. Renee was speaking from the heart when she read her the letter. Big Ang getting the four of them together was a great idea. I love Renee when she’s not aroung the other two. She seems so relaxed. Big Ang and her girlfriend are hysterical. The girlfriend told her they went to another club. Ang asked if it was nice cause she doesn’t remember. The girlfriend’s reply: “how the fck do I know?” Priceless!!! I’d love to see more of these two. Karen, aka MANHANDS needs to stop acting like a hood rat. Someone needs to remind her that she has a daughter. Maybe a bartender will drop her a hint. She looks ridiculous trying to shake her fat ass in a club. She looks like a pre-op tranny. Ramona lived in Jordan with her husband and 4 children. She was able to bring her children back to America only to find a degenerate boyfriend and get arrested like white trash. If she wanted to party, why not leave the kids to be raised by their father? Any parent’s better than a hood rat mom who’s clubbing, filming a reality show, and getting thrown in jail. She tells Renee she’s done with the fighting. She’s been there done that, but in her talking head segment she looks in the camera and tells Drita to pick out her coffin. Another mother of the year.
Karen and Ramona’s tough talk crap is growing really old. Do they not realize how stupid they sound? I’m not at all a fighter but damn, I even want to knock Karen and Ramona out! They are just so damn annoying and immature! They both need to quit acting like hormonal teenagers and try being a MOM instead! Karen isn’t even in the same state as her kid and who the hell knows where Ramona’s kids are while she is out getting arrested (clearly her new boyfriend is a classy guy!)

I am so sick of Karen and Ramona. All they do is talk crap about how tough and hard they are. Karen needs to focus on her daughter as much as she focuses on Drita. And Ramona… She talks about Drita more than Karen does. She’s sounding a little obsessed…time for a hobby. I loved the sit down with Renee and Carla. I liked the fact they were able to talk it out without antone jumping in to add their two cents(ahem Ramona) I loved how they came together at the end. It was nice seeing Renee, Drita, Big Ang and Carla laughing and having drinks. Hopefully it will last.
I know I’ve said it before, however, I’m saying it again…… THIS SITE IS THE BEST ALONG WITH THOSE WHO BLOG!!!! Absolutely, love it for you say it the way it is & always seem to be on the same page with the viewers……..

I’m getting tired of the ‘tough guy’ routine that Ramona & Karen are constantly doing… It appears, from the previews that this is going to continue….. Don’t know if it’s for camera time or what but I’d enjoy seeing/watching these gals’ ‘moving on’ with their lives & dealing with no longer affliated with the mafia & their daily lives….. I remember Karen, think in first season, saying that she wanted to ‘move on’; not just be known for being the daughter of her infamous father & focus on her life, etc…. Wow, things sure changed this season for it appears she ‘wants’ to be her father…… I’m with Renee, lighten up on the ‘tough guy’ attitudes..
Ok….so Karen ( who was indited ,along with her RAT father in Arizona and left her daughter AND husband there) is STILL obsessed with ..wait for it ….wait for it ….Drita and “WHEN” she sleep with her ( yeah right !!!) man Lee …Bottom line THIS is what it is STILL all about ! …add the fact that Karen wants to be the “MOB” Wives boss by going to “WAR” with any and everyone …Can’t get over the fact that Drita BEAT her a** last season ..so she brought help this time in the form of her NOT so famous cousin Ramona , who steadily try’s to let us know ..she corrected Al Paccino who played Vito Corleone…fashioned after her grandfather ( does that mean Karen’s grandfather was Fredo? )….smile just sayin…BOTTOM line ? Drita don’t take ANY s**t, from two women who jump you at the same time and STILL can’t get the job done !!! Oh and Renee ? Pick the side that is RIGHT and defend that RIGHT !!!!
Well I don’t think Renee is being DRAMATIC or unreasonable with her attitude towards Carla please she knew Renee was as bad as she was, she is good friends with Drita they even vacationed together during the summer. Big ANG is great and you know they all respect her.
Am I the only one who remembers that it was drita who put her hands on Karen in season 1 because of the book, Drita! Has been talking about how she will put anyone in the hospital, although I don’t condone 2 on one fight look at the clip real good, it was Drita who got brave and hit Ramona in the mouth. Remember that so IMO she deserved that black eye it took her down a few notches didn’t it? In all fairness you can’t expect everyone to stay hit from her , keep it real Drita is no saint.
