Mob Wives Recap: It Has Finally Come To An End!

Last night was the end of Mob Wives season 2 and their is a lot to discuss! Mob Wives begins with Renee and Drita meeting up for some cocktails to discuss Karen and Drita making up. Renee is determined to make this happen and it looks like Drita does too. She just doesn’t want to talk about the past and simply wants to move forward. Like that’s going to happen!

Big Ang spends some time together with her son AJ and they bond over none other than tattoos! Because you know, normal people bond with their children over tattoos! LOL Karen is telling Ramona the deal with Drita. She explains that the two are going to meet up and talk it out. Ramona ain’t happy and it’s clear from the look on her face! Karen wants to talk about the past while Drita told Renee she doesn’t want to. This could go bad in many ways.

Carla and Renee than meet each other up to grab some food. One thing I hate about reality shows is that their always meeting up each other to get A) drinks or B) food! Can’t they figure out somewhere else to meet?! Carla reveals to Renee that her ex Joe is with a younger girl. Renee thinks Carla still loves Joe and I do too. You can’t deny the chemistry the two have and deep down I think Carla wants Joe back. I don’t think she’ll ever admit it but I truthfully see it! They then talk about Drita and Karen meeting up. I think everyone just wants it to happen so there can be less drama if that’s even possible!

Drita had me laughing my butt off when she met up with an anger management therapist. Drita does this before she meets up with Karen. It continued to beep while she tried her best to keep it cool. Drita calls the monitoring a “rat machine” and the therapist doesn’t really understand why Drita allows Karen to get to her. I don’t either but it’s understandable.

Finally! The day we’ve all been waiting for. Drita and Karen meet up! I was glued to my TV and worried but so excited at the same time. Were they going to fight? Were they going to hug it out? What was going to be the result of this?! Well it starts off cool than Lee’s name gets brought up and so does the past. Anyone surprised? Me neither! Can they have a conversation and not bring up Lee? I don’t think it’s possible especially for Karen! Karen continues to bring up the past as well as the fight they had on the roof top. Drita told Renee she didn’t want to talk about it but it was clear Karen wouldn’t let that happen. Karen went as far as to bringing papework from the hospital to prove to Drita that she wasn’t the reason Karen went to the hospital last season. I don’t know how Drita contained herself. And I don’t get why Karen can’t just shut up or move forward. Drita lets Karen know that a nurse started the rumor and makes some interesting points. She tells Karen how or why would she brag about beating her friend up? Drita seems genuine and she truly wants to move on. After they both say what they have to say they agree to make peace and be civil! Yay! It actually happened. How long do you think this will last? Can you imagine how Ramona was feeling when the two were meeting up?! Probably pacing back and forth hoping their at each others throats!

Later Drita tells my favorite person on television AKA Big Ang about what went down with Karen. Drita admits she felt bad about hearing what Karen had to say. She also is happy with how things went. Big Ang than thinks its a great idea to throw a dinner party and invite everyone including Ramona! Drita is irritated that Ramona will be attending but she refuses to look at her when she’s there!

The ladies arrive with all their beautiful children. They discuss what went down at the meeting and even laugh with each other. Ramona’s face is priceless and she clearly isn’t happy which makes me happy because I personally do not like Ramona and think she loves drama! It was really good to watch the ladies all have a good time and have no issue. I could get used to that…

    AGAIN we totally agree on this show… Ramona is NONE to happy and it has nothing to do with “protecting” her friend in my opinion.. I absolutely LOVED it.. I knew if people would stay out of and keep their mouths shut they could make up and they did! I think Ramona will do all she can to cause problems.. I don’t think her and Drita will make up any time soon.. K&D had a history and truly cared about each other.. I don’t think that’s ever been the case with R&D.. I guess we’ll see how it all plays out.. it was truly one of the BEST episodes of the year!

      I agree..loved this episode!! It’s obvious Ramona AKA Lucifer was none to please to have them hash this crap out. Ramona needs to be off the show..but again..she is pure drama and will bring it to the show!!

    I did like the dinner scenes, they all looked like they were having a nice time; and all of the girls’ kids are gorgeous!

    Drita and Ramona moving forward/ Who knows, but i am interested to know how they ended up disliking each other so much! They knew each other for along time prior to the show and the animosity. I would like to think they they can finally leave it behind ( Drita/Karen) but there is another season! If I was the aggressive one who always threw punches, I would not want to keep bringing it up on tv either, and I also can understand Karen ‘s point- how can you resolve or move on when the issues are not addressed? Im glad Drita finally said loud and clear on tv that her and Karen had a long history and cared about each other! The anger doc was right- Drita was angry because she did care so much for Karen. The finale was good and the ending was enjoyable. I was surprised!

    I’m so glad Karen and Drita are cool again!!!!!! I love them both! And that, my friends, is why you should promote peace instead of bringing kids into the argument and stop pitting Karen and Drita against one another when Ramona was the one trying to keep their friendship from happening. Karen is not a bad person and I always understood where she was coming from and agreed with her. Drita is very likeable and has a great heart.

    I’m so happy drita and karen made up!! Ramona is so scary!! did anyone notice towards the end of the show when she made a little “threat” about going after drita? Also, that evil wicked laugh she did? OMG she is so crazy and totally obsessed with drita!!. I hope drita gets her at the reunuion because i do remember from the poconos episode when Ramona said she wanted “to skin or stab drita”. Psychotic bitch!

      Ramona spends way to much time trying to act like a gangster she is nothing….she thinks she is tough and tries to talk all high and mighty but she comes across as very unintelligent and just a thug.
      Drita would kick her ass and at the reunion Drita says let us fight man oh man i would love that she would kill ramona..
      I believe Drita about what ramona said about junior and thats why ramona is so defensive and angry…..

    It was surprising when Karen pulled out those 2 pieces of paper saying she hadn’t been in a Staten Island hospital in years. That rumor must have really irked Karen.

    Everytime Karen says “It’s about friendship” I know it really means “It’s about Lee.”

    I agree with Roxy, I think Carla still loves Joe, but she knows he is a cheater and a loyal good woman will never be happy with a cheater. It’s really too bad. I’d love to see those two back together.

    Renee was looking good this episode, I really hope she is doing ok!

    No more Ramona please – please, bring in a new gal instead.

    Does Drita ever mention what make-up she wears? The pink shade was great.

    Karen was right, you can not have a solution if you don’t address the problem. Drita didn’t want to talk about the past because she knew she was wrong. Karen went to her like an adult and each time Drita acted the thug. If it wasn’t what she thought she didn’t want to hear it. Karen want to get it all out, solve or get an understanding where they could have peace. Karen’s appoarch was better and it worked.

    IMO-
    I could not believe that Karen forgave drita so easily, nor do I think that they should be friends again now. I do not support anyone returning to a relationship that involved abuse. Period. Idk how someone can defend either of their actions to the point that they believe that they should be friends again. I look at it like a relationship, if a guy put his hands on/hurt a girl, or her to him, then that relationship would be over. And as a friend, you would not be supportive of them getting back together in any way shape or form. That is how I look at this relationship and at Ramonas response to them being friends again. For anyone to say that they’ve never been not-supportive of a friend entering into a relaitonship with someone who once hurt them would be a complete lie. And for Karen and Drita, I know they care for each other, but they’ve crossed a line of no return. To say that it’s a reflection of them as “mothers” to form this relationship again is ridiculous, and honestly, I feel like they throw around the word mother a bit too much on this show. Almost as though they use it as an excuse or feel like they haven’t been a good mother? idk, I still can’t put my finger on it.

    And the violence. I’m disgusted with many of the fans of this show. Posting comments like, ‘I hope drita beats _____’s ass.’ Really? That’s what you want to see? I find violence disgusting. Both men and women need to stop with it. To hear drita say, at the reunion, “just let us fight,” that was the moment that I gave up on the show. It’s basketball wives in disguise. Physical violence solves nothing and people need to see that. That shouldn’t attract people to a show, it should turn us away from it. It shows us what we are becoming as a society.

    Also, I feel like these women are affected by the fame, some more than others. I know that that is why they are on the show, but still. The show’s lost it authentic feel that it had season 1, and I feel like it’s due to the change in the women. I mean, this last episode had so many moments that seemed staged. I didn’t like it. I used to be a loyal watcher, becuase I personally liked all the women, but now I’m done. This show has…what’s the saying? Tanked? Sank ship? It’s a mess.

      Excellent post! You brought up some things that I did not, and I agree with you. However I liked the ending and I think that is because they all sat in the room together. It could have been staged per reunion sneak peek being so opposite. You are right with the two making up but in my opinion I think Karen was trying to find closure to move on and move forward in her own life, not necessarily becoming friends again with Drita- it can’t and won’t ever be the same after the violence ( twice). People hate so much on Ramona, but I like how she is a true friend to Karen, the very definition of what a friend should be, so I too disagree with some comments that want her beaten. She is doing what any good friend would : being loyal, defending, being honest, etc.

    I hope Drita signs on for season 3 or i wont watch anymore….its hard enough to watch with Ramona on there…..get her off……if VH1 pays attention to the mobwives fans they will see wwe ALL want the thing off the show she is disgusting!!
    In real life ramona went after her husband and he was already married…she is a homewrecker and he was rich then she has 4 kids to him and gets a shit load of plastic surgery then leaves her husband cause he went bankrupt not cause he went into organised crime!!
    Everyhting out of her mouth is a lie and she is a nasty selfish piece of work who just wants an easy ride.
    This is the truth and i want people to know it so get her of the show…i feel sorry for her kids they always look miserable and who wouldnt with a mum like that!
    Love everyone else on the show karen and drita are great and i wish Drita would get her own spin of show!!!
